Heysan - mjelly Mobile 2.0 Service of the Week | Mobile Industry Review

  • Heysan is probably the first mobile web service to develop a really effective viral distribution mechanism.  When you first sign in to your IM account they give the option to ping your friends/ contacts to let them know you are using heysan and in return you get credits for their virtual store. 
  • The average user spends over 5 hours a month on heysan, they are doing 100 million page views a month and have 600,000 users.  What is also amazing is that the largest markets for Heysan are not Indonesia or India like a lot of other mobile IM aggregators, but the UK and the US.

「YouTube」はラジオ代わり、CDは買わない？——イマドキ中高生と音楽（ITmediaニュース） - Yahoo!ニュース

  • YouTubeやニコニコ動画をBGMとして利用している中高生は多いようだ。中3女子は、YouTubeから楽曲付き動画ダウンロードし、動画の音声をMP3ファイルに変換して楽しんでいるという。



    　中3男子も「欲しいCDでも買う余裕がないときはYouTubeで済ませることもある」と話す。ニコ動に投稿されている『作業用BGM』を聞くことも。DVDを買うお金はないから、YouTubeやニコ動で見ることもある」



    　高2男子は「YouTubeはBGMとして聴いており、音楽のプロモーションビデオをダウンロードすることもある。ただ、音質が良くないのでMP3に変換したりはしない」という。
