Iraq Vets Left in Physical and Mental Agony
-
On New Year's Eve, the number of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq passed 3,000. By Tuesday, the death toll had reached 3,004 -- 31 more than died in the Sep. 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon.
But the number of injured has far outstripped the dead, with the Veterans Administration reporting that more than 150,000 veterans of the Iraq war are receiving disability benefits.
Advances in military technology are keeping the death rate much lower than during the Vietnam War and World War Two, Dr. Col. Vito Imbascini, an urologist and state surgeon with the California Army National Guard, told IPS, but soldiers who survive attacks are often severely disabled for life.
"If you lost an arm or a leg in Vietnam, you were also tremendously injured in your chest and abdomen, which were not protected by the armour plates back then," he said. "Now, your heart and chest and lungs and heart are protected by armour, leaving only your extremities exposed."
Dr. Imbascini just returned from a four-month deployment to Germany, where he treated the worst of the U.S. war wounded. He said that an extremely high number of wounded soldiers are coming home with their arms or legs amputated. Imbascini said he amputated the genitals of one or two men every day.

David Michael Green: Lesbian Daughter of Reactionary Vice-President Is Pregnant: Could It Get Any Better Than This? | BuzzFlash
-
I have to tell you, I burst out laughing when I heard that Mary Cheney was pregnant.
Not that I have a whole lot against Mary, mind you. I mean, it does disgust me that she leads the life she does and yet campaigned for Bush/Cheney in 2004, even as they were shamefully exploiting American homophobia to win votes. But every time I get angry at Mary, I just remember two things: Dick Cheney is her father!! Lynne Cheney is her mother!! We probably ought to cut the gal some slack under these circumstances, don't you think? I mean, how'd you like to be sitting across the dinner table from Pol Pot, and have to say "Please pass the raspberry Jell-O ... Dad"?

Long Debunked "Rumor" Validated by Giuliani
-
As of this writing, June 2, 2004, the transcript of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani's testimony to the 9-11 Commission during the May 18-19, 2004 hearings in New York is the only transcript of that hearing omitted from the Commission website ( http://www.9-11commission.gov).
Did Rudy say something wrong?
In case you missed it live, you can listen to his testimony in full at the WNYC radio website at: http://www.wnyc.org/news/articles/28147. As Giuliani recounts his experience of the day of 9/11, and the evolving location of the Emergency Command Center that morning, you might want to pay special attention to what he says at the end of his prepared statement:
What’s Become of Americans?
Search your consciences, folks....

03/22/06 "LewRockwell" -- -- Imagine knocking on America’s door and being told, "Americans don’t live here any longer. They have gone away."
But isn’t that what we are hearing, that Americans have gone away? Alan Shore told us so on ABC’s Boston Legal on March 14:
When the weapons of mass destruction thing turned out not to be true, I expected the American people to rise up. They didn't.
Then, when the Abu Ghraib torture thing surfaced and it was revealed that our government participated in rendition, a practice where we kidnap people and turn them over to régimes who specialize in torture, I was sure then the American people would be heard from. We stood mute.
Then came the news that we jailed thousands of so-called terrorist suspects, locked them up without the right to a trial or even the right to confront their accusers. Certainly, we would never stand for that. We did.
And now, it's been discovered the executive branch has been conducting massive, illegal, domestic surveillance on its own citizens. You and me. And I at least consoled myself that finally, finally the American people will have had enough. Evidently, we haven't.

ENRON and Weather Control : AZ IMC
-
For the most part these are old articles...i got the lead from an article i pulled off clifford carnicoms site, its after these links, then I went searching: somebody posted the initial article without a link, a while ago, around 01/03, it bears reading all the way. It obviously is from the time before the big E went kaput. I wonder if it had anything to do with the big E going kaput....if the CT technology was co-opted for surveillance, and other nefarious uses like mass mind alteration, because of, let us say, something like TERROR, then it is not beyond the realm of possibility that enron got shut down to hide all this....there were many small-fry weather control companys like Dyn-O-Mat ffeding off this lopsided insurance, guaranteeing enron or whoever certain weather factors for a price...even being small fry the ops were big bux and a lot of the early stuff went down in Clintons time....I think the initial spraying experiments by these weather companys was a success, meaning nobody squawked, and then way was made to deploy the control technology which govt has been developing now for 5 decades or more....b
Who shot down Flight 93?
-
"Today, history was made online. LetsRoll911.org have revealed the identity of the pilot who shot down Flight 93 on 11th September 2001. This information has been confirmed as accurate by Alex Jones.
For many, it was obvious that the Boeing could never have crashed in that manner without having been shot out of the sky with air-to-air missiles. How else could anyone explain how one of the engines landed more than 5 miles from the fuselage? Yet the US Government maintains that the passengers themselves crashed the aeroplane.
This is a unique event, certainly for me. In the history of intrigue and cover-up, 9/11 is the first event which I have investigated myself and have therefore followed its twists and turns with interest from early on.

Dear Mr. Secretary:
I am joining my colleague John Brady Kiesling in submitting my resignation from the Foreign Service (effective immediately) because I cannot in good conscience support President Bush's war plans against Iraq.
Complete 911 Timeline

This webpage is meant to be a comprehensive resource for anyone attempting to understand 9/11, the anthrax attacks, and the “war on terrorism.” Once you start reading, I think it will become clear that there is much more going on than the “official story” claims. The mainstream media is the one that’s failed to “connect the dots.” There are an amazing amount of intriguing news stories that have squeaked into the media but not reached a wide audience, and/or have not been properly followed up or placed into context.
You might call some or all of this “conspiracy theory.” The term “conspiracy theory” is bandied about to discredit ideas that run counter to what is widely believed. But sometimes the official story turns out to be a lie—look at what the Nixon Administration was claiming and the press generally reporting when the Watergate story was in its early stages, for instance. The alternative to conspiracy is “coincidence theory.” At some point, when enough “dots” line up, the thought that everything is just coincidence becomes the wildest theory of all.
Privacy versus Security
-
There is a lot of debate going on these days about the right of privacy versus the need for security. Most would agree that our war on terrorism makes it necessary to temporarily suspend some of the freedom of movement we Americans once enjoyed. Few of us have much sympathy for people who are complaining that they feel “humiliated” at pat-down searches given at airports. Nothing is more humiliating than being taken hostage by some terrorist group.
