I know of one situation where a practice owner offered 10% of the savings over a 12-month period as a bonus, so he only paid if, in fact, there were some savings. He said to his staff, “If you come up with some great idea, I'm actually prepared to share some of the savings with you.” And that got people thinking about saving costs. So, get your staff involved.
