Cool page!!! Starts off discussing the drastic difference between high school writing and college writing - as well as shifts in what your "teachers" expect of you. Then it goes into drafting, revising, etc. Neat

Another short page but brings up good points, High school writing does not = college writing. As well as addressing the fact that you should meet with your prof no matter what your grade. Learning to increase your strengths and lessen your weaknesses in writing is a good thing.

Page isn't so much about writing papers for when you are in class, but writing paper to get you into the college you want to get into. Different site though, for the students who are graduating and plan on attending bigger universities?

Again, like the last site posted this site lists some helpful hints to improving your college writing. I especially like how they refer to college being a place where collaborating is learned... so true. Don't only lean on yourself but offer to proofread a friend's paper and ask them to proof read yours.

Neat site that breaks down commom mistakes and gives examples of right and wrong ways of writing. Looks at punctuation, top 10 mistakes and then ties it all together on one page. Pretty neat

Neat site: has powerpoints walking you through different writing topics, lessons to strengthen your learning and little quizzes to test your comprehension. Has lessons on all sorts of stuff: sentence problems, diction, pronoun usage, adverbs, etc.

Thought this was a neat link, has a few links to outside sources to help in citation, formating, grammar, etc.... but it also has a link for someone who doesn't use English as their first language, a foreign lang. dictionary. Kinda neat!
