Toolbar2000

  • Toolbar2000 is a set of components for Borland Delphi and C++Builder (4.0 and later) designed to mimic the look and behavior of Office 2000's menus and toolbars.

ISTool

  • What is ISTool?

ISTool helps you create scripts for Jordan Russell's
    Inno Setup
compiler. Inno Setup is a great compiler for very
professional looking setups, and the only disadvantage is that you have to
create fairly complex scripts by hand.

This is where ISTool comes in. With this application you can edit these scripts
in a visual environment, and creating these setup scripts becomes much easier.

Virtual Treeview

  • Virtual Treeview

Virtual Treeview with Windows XP styles.

Virtual Treeview is a treeview control built from ground up. More than 5 years of development made it one of the most flexible and advanced tree controls available today. Virtual Treeview starts off with the claim to improve many aspects of existing solutions and introduces some new technologies and principles which were not available before.

As the name already indicates, this control uses a different paradigm for tree management than other controls of this kind. It does not know anything about the data it manages (except its size), not even the captions of a node. Everything is retrieved from the application via events (or descendants via overridden methods).

Virtual Treeview has been carefully designed and thoroughly tested. The control proved its concept as well as everyday fitness already in many commercial products and freeware projects.

OpenGL_SG - The OpenGL header translation for Delphi

  • OpenGL header translation

This is an interface unit for the use of OpenGL with Delphi (also known as Delphi OpenGL binding) and contains the translations of gl.h, glu.h, glx.h and glext.h as well as some support functions. Additionally, this unit contains bug fixes and enhancements of Delphi's and other translations as well as support for most extensions. See the file for a development history and documentation of the support functions.

The latest developer version of this file can be found in the public source code repository Soft Gems General Library, in the folder Headers.

Common geometry unit for Borland Delphi

    • Common geometry unit for Borland Delphi

During my work on GLScene I created a helper unit for all kind of vector and matrix computations. Since this unit might be of general interest it is offered here as separate download. The unit contains:
      • Vector functions, e.g. addition, subtraction, negation, combination, dot product, cross product, linear interpolation (LERP), angle computation etc.
      • Matrix functions, e.g. creation of rotation, scale and translation matrices, adjoint, determinant, inversion, multiply, transposition etc.
      • Quaternion functions, e.g. creation, conjugation, multiplication, convertion to/from matrices, spherical linear interpolation (SLERP) etc.
      • A few mathematical functions not found in older Delphi versions.

      <!-- License section -->
      License:

The Soft Gems Geometry unit is published under the MIT license. This license is very generous and allows use of the code in any application including commercial software.

Python for Delphi

  • Create classes in python and have Delphi use these classes as if they were native
Delphi classes!  Benefit:  python can do all the business logic and hard work,
whilst Delphi can be used for the GUI and application framework etc.

The interactive shell and fast development time in python makes building business logic
here.  Define your domain classes and build all the units that do work.  Only
    use Delphi for GUI.

On the other hand, if you want python to talk to and control delphi, then use COM.
