TweenTribune is free and jam packed with current news stories that are chosen by site coordinators from the Associated Press for the "tween" (age 8-14) audience. Middle school audiences will find the articles easy to read and relate to. The site is easy to navigate with a subject indexed toolbar and it is searchable. There is even a "your town" section for local news stories.
