I was so excited when I read about Epix, a movie-streaming site that is funded by Lionsgate, Paramount, and MGM. According to Tech Radar, it hit private beta this week, and “already looks set to be a game-changer in how movies are distributed over the net.”
Unfortunately, there’s a giant catch, one that makes me none to happy about my latest budgeting decision: In order to use the site, you have to have a cable bundle that includes the Epix movie channel.
