Welcome to PestWorld for Kids - Exploring pest ecology for elementary school teachers and students
Description: Pestworld for Kids.org is part of the National Pest Management Association's efforts to educate future consumers about the benefits of professional pest control and encourage their interest in professional pest control as a career. In order to generate this interest, the association, along with FCF Schmidt Public Relations and Educational Web Adventures, developed an educational children's website dedicated to pests. The web site explores pest ecology as the intersection between human-created habitats and animal needs for food and shelter. The site designed for elementary teachers and students and offers information resources, interactive learning games, and lesson plans that support National Science Standards.
