TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader.
The annual conference now brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes).
This is an interesting utility that allows you to automatically choose OS X Locations based on what connections are detected. A la: "I can see the company printer, so this must be the Location Company".
Allows you to select files and upload them to Google Docs, but also gives a special email address for uploading via email. See limitations for file type and size as well. If you upload a doc to Google docs, you can export it in various formats including P
