in this blog want to share some information on basic functionality as well as fun ideas for using Google Docs (now Google Drive for some of us) with students.
In this post, you'll get a quick introduction to Google Docs as well as some "lessons learned" by yours truly. In the comments, I hope others will share their experiences using Google Docs in the classroom.
For Google Wave users who require to collaborate and co-edit a document, spreadsheet or presentation via Google Wave simultaneously or concurrently, here's a workaround to allow integration of Google Wave and Google Docs. Integration of Google Docs into Google Wave allows users to use only single platform and single logon or login (when using same Google account).
I don’t have much love for multiple-choice tests — either for administering them or for taking them — but as a teacher, the format was sometimes required by my administration, and was sometimes useful for simple prove-that-you-read-it quizzes. Google Docs didn’t help me love them, but it did help me never grade them.
