That’s the whole reason why we learn: to improve. (SP3)

With a worried mind, she watched me for about a week and noticed that I never had fun when learning it; however, once I started to learn to play the flute in 5th grade, I had a lot of fun and improved gradually for a long time. (SP1)

There are more cartoons that kids enjoyed watching when they were young such as Rugrats and Hey Arnold, Ed, Edd, and Eddy and The Wild Thornberries, Blue’s Clues and so much more.

The world is changing extremely fast–it’s time to speed things up. (SP7)

However, there are also siblings which people look and say, “They can’t be siblings! They look nothing alike!” For example: my sister and I. (SP3)

Time. Time is a very interesting thing with so many mysteries. Who made time? Where did it come from? Why did people start keeping track of time? Since when was “time”? I’ve never been answer the question: What is time? I know that time is what can never be turned back or stopped. That’s why it scares me. Without even you noticing it, time just keeps going and going on forever. Even at this moment when you are reading this blog, time is going by you like a river flowing down the mountain. How did people ever even get the idea of time? Did they just suddenly think that they needed to keep track of when the did certain things? I mean, if there was no time, people wouldn’t know exactly when they did things. The concept of hours, days, minutes, years, weeks, etc. wouldn’t be known to the human beings.

I think I’m one of the people that are afraid of the changes in the technological world inside. Although I’m using one of the technologies right now, I usually want things not to change because I like the past. I like how things are in the current days with partial technology and parts where I can experience the past. Through my classes with Mr.B I learned a lot of new technologies that I’m not comfortable using. Not only am I new to it, but I also dislike the fact that I seem to be going further away from the traditional classes–which I seem to be used to. I’m just afraid that the technology learning will affect the way I study and have a negative affect to it. When exactly will these changes be made? I still can’t find an answer to that.

Why do so many people, for example Koreans, try their butts off to learn this language?
-
The world today is filled with various cultures in so many countries. Each culture has their own special thing to be proud of, whether its food, buildings, music, fashion, or language. Out of these, language in particular is most likely to be the one that “separates” each culture and their background. By hearing the country’s language, you can get an idea of where the people are from (the area) and slightly about their culture.

Their parents had told them that just by keeping this habit; they would be able to be successful in the future (which was somehow true).

wish that I was an only child (or have an older brother/sister).

I honestly didn’t talk—as in really have a normal conversation—with my sister until just about half a year ago.
-
I realized I was doing the same thing as judging a book by its cover: My sister was actually a warm-hearted person too after all. The best way for me was talking about school because I was in High School now and we both had similar things to be a part of (clubs, classes, after school activities, etc).

I’m not sure if it’s just the Korean saying, but there is a saying that you don’t know a person’s value until they are not with you.
