Raw Data Now! Yep, that's what we have been asking for for some time... that's why Mine! and MINT.
TEDTalks spreadsheet

if so much can be done by twitter in terms of alerts and information logistics, how much could be done by something like Mine! that is predicated on ability to control streams of data
Epeus' epigone: How Twitter works in theory
excellent post on Twitter by Kevin Marks explaining its social, phatic nature. Also insightful is Bob Wyman's comment about recevier/sender controlled messaging. It made me think that Twitter is the first receiver controlled communication. Subcribing to blog feeds is also receiver controlled but less communication and more information managment. Mine! might take this a step further.. need to ponder more.

Spying On Myself (continued)
I want at least the same. But how about more than a single feed, how about as many feeds as you feel like depending on who you want to share your stuff with. That's what we are working on with Mine!.

Imagine if you had a single data feed, fredsactivity.xml, that was hosted on the web and you could share with web services. I'd give it to Amazon to get better recommendations. I'd give it to Google Reader to find interesting blogs to read. I'd give it to Twitter to get better recommendations for people to follow. I'd give it to Netflix and Fandango to get better movie recommendations. I've give it to Goolge to get better search results.
