this looks interesting. Fully switched to Chrome but keeping an eye on Firefox.. really it's the power management that's the deal breaker. Otherwise love Firefox functionality but as a serial tab opener I can't afford the CPU. :)
I can relate to most of these observations... looking forward to getting my hands on one of these one day :)

For a long-time PC and Mac user, the Chromebook is almost too simple. I want to poke around and see the innards of this PC. I almost feel caged by the browser window. What’s under the hood on this thing?
On the surface, that feeling is pretty illogical. I live in a browser at least 80 percent to 90 percent of the time so what’s the big deal? It’s that 10 percent where I want to roam through settings—even though I don’t know what half of them are for.
second comment gives details about the screen, makes me want to wait instead of getting kindle... alas, won't be in UK for some time I imagine. :(
yes, and the Mine! bring will bring the web even closer to the individual user. platform for the individual is the idea.
good exposition of Chrome, but disagree about the inherent need for data brokers. for now, alas yes. but not in the future, if i have anything to do with it.
