Miguel's blog post about article on 30 free system tools for a better Mac. Here are some that jumped out at me, as well as some of the ones I use on a regular basis. But I honestly had not encountered all of the ones on the list. I will be installing these free apps on the Macs I'm responsible for!

One omission that I would add as a free system tool is Carbon Copy Cloner. I've gotten pretty familiar with this app over the last few weeks and think it's great at making easy backups of your entire hard drive."

The story comes to mind when I consider Steve Dembo's post on tag generators. Scott points out that we can use web traffic as a way to help us know if writing has value to intended audiences.
