資訊市集是結合社交和研究的空間（social and study space），讓學生可以聚在一起做報告，一起使用數位科技（digital technology）。想要一個人用的時候，可以很自在地一個人用；需要大家一起討論的時候，就可以和同學一起用，而且是邊討論邊用。學生可以用電腦，可以把討論結果列印出來；遇到問題還可以還可以諮詢教學設計專家（instructional designer），累了可以在café看電視看CNN。
