Korsakow : computer program for the creation of database films
"The Korsakow-System is an easy-to-use computer program for the creation of database films. Korsakow-Films are films with a twist: They are interactive - the viewer has influence on the K-Film. They are rule-based - the author decides on the rules by which the scenes relate to each other, but s/he does not create fixed paths. K-Films are generative - the order of the scenes is calculated while viewing. Korsakow is not a religion.
GStreamer: open source multimedia framework
GStreamer is a library that allows the construction of graphs of media-handling components, ranging from simple Ogg/Vorbis playback to complex audio (mixing) and video (non-linear editing) processing.
Applications can take advantage of advances in codec and filter technology transparently. Developers can add new codecs and filters by writing a simple plugin with a clean, generic interface.
GStreamer is released under the LGPL.
