With the plethora of tablets and pad devices about to hit the market the question has to be asked - will pen and paper have a place in lecture halls 10 years from now?
It's impossible to say what the future will hold, but ASUS has just announced a new product about to hit North American shelves that might go some way at least towards making that a reality - the Eee Note EA800.
Rules for effective note-taking
Select. Omit trivial and redundant details. Omit anything you'll recall anyway!
Condense. Replace lists with a category term.
Organize. Choose headings and topic sentences.
Rephrase. Use your own words.
Elaborate. Make connections to existing knowledge.
