HTML 4.01 Specification
Abstract
This specification defines the HyperText Markup Language (HTML), the publishing language of the World Wide Web. This specification defines HTML 4.01, which is a subversion of HTML 4. In addition to the text, multimedia, and hyperlink features of the previous versions of HTML (HTML 3.2 [HTML32] and HTML 2.0 [RFC1866]), HTML 4 supports more multimedia options, scripting languages, style sheets, better printing facilities, and documents that are more accessible to users with disabilities. HTML 4 also takes great strides towards the internationalization of documents, with the goal of making the Web truly World Wide.

What is an IFB File?
By Tim Fisher, About.com Guide
Question: What is an IFB File?
Did you find an IFB file on your computer and wonder what program should open it? Maybe someone emailed you an IFB file but you're not sure how to use it. Perhaps you tried to open the IFB file but Windows told you that it could not open it.
Before you can open an IFB file (assuming it's even a file format that's intended to be viewed or edited), you'll need to determine what kind of file the IFB file extension refers to.
Answer: A file with the IFB file extension is a Siebel Interface Configuration file.
Other types of files may also use the IFB file extension. If you know of any additional file formats that use the IFB extension, please let me know so I can update this information.
How to Open an IFB File:
The easiest way to open an IFB file is to double-click on it and let your PC decide which default application should open the file. If no program opens the IFB file then you probably don't have an application installed that can view and/or edit IFB files.
Warning: Take great care when opening executable file formats received via email or downloaded from websites you're not familiar with. See my List of Executable File Extensions for a listing of file extensions to avoid and why.
As of this writing, I don't have information on any specific applications that will view IFB files or open IFB files for editing. If you know of any, please send me a quick email and let me know the name of the program so I can update this page.
Tip: Use Notepad or another text editor to open the IFB file. Many files are text-only files meaning no matter the file extension, a text editor may be able to properly display the file's contents. This may or may not be the case with IFB files but it's worth a try.
If you find that an application on your PC does try to open the IFB file but it's the wrong application or if you would rather have another installed program open IFB files, see my How to Change the Default Program for a Specific File Ext

As a webdeveloper, feature additions and updates to commonly used libraries
and languages are always exciting. Unfortunately, there is one core language of
web development which has not received a proper update in years – HTML. Sure, we
had XHTML, but in my opinion, that was more of a structural change than it was a
rewrite of HTML. XHTML merely enforced a XML structure as well as standardize
the elements used for various types of content.
This is all about to change with the development of HTML 5. HTML 5 is
currently only a W3C draft, but some of its major features are already
implemented in various browsers. As supposed to XHTML, HTML 5 aims to bring HTML
into this century, and make it more flexible in order to satisfy the needs of
today’s developers and users for multimedia content, AJAX-based user interfaces,
geolocation and desktop application-like behaviour.
What Version Numbers Mean - WorldStart Computer Tips and Computer Help
-
Q:
What do those version numbers, like
1.0.1 mean?
A:
To find the version number of a
program, just click Help, then find "About..."Now, let's say we have
program with a version number of 6.1.2The first number (6)
represents the "major" version number. Normally these are only updated if there
has been lots of major changes to a program. The next number (1)
represents a minor update. Maybe a feature or two was added to the program, but
the overall program remained the same. The third number (2)
represents a bug fix. Our example shows that version6.1.2 has had 2 bug fixes so
far. That's the gist of it. Some
programs use letters rather than numbers, especially for minor update and bug
fixes.Additionally, it's open to
interpretation by the programmer (or the marketing department ;-) as to whether
the current update constitutes a major version change or just a minor
enhancement.~ Steve
