SyncBack is a flexible, and quite powerful backup and synchronization program that allows to to maintain backup copies of your files and folder, or to synchronize them, so that both locations always have a complete copy (e.g Laptop/PC). It offers different types of actions that let you choose how older and newer files are processed, which files should be excluded (by mask) and more. It offers standard file comparison based on the date and size, as well as optional MD5 checksum, which will detect even the slightest modifications to files. SyncBack also supports scheduled projects, FTP and zip compression of backups, as well as network login, simulation runs and more.

Synchronize your mobile with Thunderbird and Sunbird

BirdieSync™ allows synchronization of your contacts,
appointments, tasks and mails between Pocket Outlook™ on your mobile with
Thunderbird™ and Lightning™ or Sunbird™ on your PC. Based on ActiveSync®
technology, items are synchronized  as soon as your mobile is
connected to your PC. Every creation, modification or deletion of a
contact, appointment, task or mail on one of the devices are automatically
transferred to the other one. So you only have one address book and
calendar to manage and you can consult and manage your mails on your
mobile. Your information is always up to date.

BirdieSync is available for Windows XP and Pocket PC 2003
and 5.0, Smartphone 2003 and 5.0 on "unlocked" mobiles with ARM
processors.

FinchSync is a tool for synchronizing contacts, appointments and tasks from
Mozilla email and calendar products with a Pocket PC or SmartPhone.

Contacts are synchronized with the email client's address book. The build-in
applications of the Netscape- and Mozilla Application Suite are supported as
well as the standalone Mozilla Thunderbird.

Contacts and tasks are synchronized with the Mozilla Calendar extension for the
Mozilla Suite, Firefox and Netscape or the standalone Sunbird (only Version 0.2
is supported directly, see HowTo section for instructions about syncing
with later versions like 0.3 etc.).
