"Of course the other side of the issue is working out how we can extract use out of folksonomies. Thomas noted how Project Steve had discovered that their folksonomy employed, conservatively, 70% more terms than their taxonomy. This is in line with out findings and indicates both the potential and the problem with folksonomy. The potential is in the greater richness of folksonomy, the pitfall is in the problems this richness causes. It will be fascinating to see how this plays out in the times to come."
