Web-based travel organizer (anyone tried this yet?)
When you book a trip online, email your itinerary to Tripit, and it will aggregate everything about your travel into a single page (plus it will pull in data from around the web that's relevant to your travel). Looks very handy.

The Landmark Trust: vacation in a historic building
The Trust buys up historic, umm, landmarks and rehabs them into vacation rentals. Sounds very cool. Most, but not all locations are in the UK. Anyone tried this?

Magellan's tips on how to get everything into one carry-on
I love this store, even though their stuff is overpriced and gimmicky. They sometimes publish these how-tos on travelling light that, believe it or not, can be useful.
