A review, on an Anglican site, of a book written by a Muslim woman from the point of view of a sixteen-year-old Muslim girl growing up in Australia who has just decided to veil. Reviewed as a good coming-of-age story for religious teenagers of any type. Sounds kind of interesting.

Lib Dems send ‘Happy Eid’ greeting to Asian Christian | News | The Christian Institute

The Liberal Democrats (in the UK) mail an Eid card to a constituent because his family name is "Suleman." Turns out Mr Suleman is a Christian convert and he doesn't like getting the card. A spokesperson for the party remarks that the card was sent to Mr Suleman based on so-called "'best guess' data" (in other words, because his name sounded Muslim).

Muslims mass-producing children to take over Africa, says Archbishop -Times Online

A profile of a sermon preached by Archbishop Nicholas Okoh, primate of Nigeria, in London, in which he described an "attack" by Muslims in Africa aimed at "taking over" the continent by tempting new converts with the promise of polygamy and correspondingly high numbers of progeny.   • "I was pleased that at least he was making the bridge to meet with me," said Ramzy Kiliç, Tampa's executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. "It doesn't seem like (taking down the sign) is going to happen, and he didn't want to know more about Islam."

    Kiliç met with Senior Pastor Terry Jones for about 25 minutes Tuesday at the Dove World Outreach Center, 5805 N.W. 37th St., which has a series of hand-painted signs that read in red "Islam is of the devil."

    Jones was not available for an interview Tuesday.
