The Way We Get By - a documentary film by Aron Gaudet & Gita Pullapilly about three senior citizens & Maine Troop Greeters
This is the website for a documentary film about the Bangor Troop Greeters. Bangor, Maine is the last stop for American troops heading to Iraq and Afghanistan and the first stop when they return. Planes arrive at the Bangor International Airport every day of the week and at all hours of the day and night. This dedicated group meets every flight. I have been at the airport when a plane arrives and it is amazing to see the effect these people have on the troops. I look forward to seeing this film.
