Though this list is very American centric it is not a bad starting point if only to check out the different varieties of apps out there. Of the ones on the list, my faves are Evernote. Wordpress, Touchcalc, Google Earth and Starmap.

Yet another list of iPhone apps to trawl through though this one is perhaps more serious than most as it focusses on things environmental. From the Treehugger group it contains short reviews and links to a range of green apps including carbon calculators, Offset calculators, a range of metering and measuring apps amongst others. Whilst many may be of personal interest there are a number that may be also useful in the classroom context.
App Classics
Another interesting collection of apps organised under a range of headings via a dropdown menu. Click on the icons that appear and you get a review of the app plus where applicable a YouTube review video.

Appsaurus is devoted to iPhone and iTouch applications. The site contains listings of apps, reviews and news with an Australian bias though the focus is more than education.
IEAR - I Education Apps Review for the IPhone and ITouch
The I Education Apps Review Ning is all about working with iTouches, iPods and iPhones in education. It contains sections related to the use of these tools as well as regular reviews of applications. There are the usual forums and special interest groups within the Ning as well as links to an associated Wikispace and podcast.
