    Sure! The majority of Tweets and microblogged status reports do link to vastly more extensive stuff via tiny URL's, I agree! But on the whole we want the thesis statement before we choose to read and we only choose to read if we trust the Tweeter yeah?

Things - task management on the Mac

Hmmm...interesting but it already seems so similar to the basic Palm OS that I was using! I'm not even sure all this stuff on my computer is a good idea...I simply don't USE my MacBook for sorting out my life. Once it was my Palm...the trusty Palm that's only trustworthy now as a Password manager! I do need a new tool for my to-do's though. Will muse on it some more

Mind42.com - Collaborative mind mapping in your browser

I already have freemind and don't really use that as much as I perhaps could. And dropbox would probably be more secure perhaps so long as the person has the freemind app on the other end. Dunno... there must be a limit to how many apps one can have.
