Another Scandinavian nation, Sweden has one of the world's highest life expectancies and one of the lowest birth rates. In the EIU's annual survey of the e-business environment in 65 countries, Sweden was outperformed only by Denmark and the US. Sweden has the world's highest penetration of Internet access, the highest usage of mobile phones, and a very high level of Internet and computer skills among business managers.
