Announcing the Release of Zikula 1.0.0

It is my pleasure, at this time of great change in the Zikula project, to announce the immediate availability of Zikula 1.0, codename adam_baum. This release is the culmination of years of hard work by everyone involved in the project, past and present, and brings Zikula to the forefront of the Web Application sector.

  • Today we are proud and excited to announce the results of our renaming process. As of today, our project is called the Zikula Application Framework.
  • In light of this, we will very shortly be releasing Zikula 1.0, formerly PostNuke 0.8. The development team is very excited at the new horizons created by Zikula 1.0. With your help, Zikula 1.0 will be at the forefront of Open Source Application Frameworks for years to come. PostNuke will have existed for 7 years this July, please help us put Zikula at the forefront of web technology in the future.
