Recipe- Paprika Croutons
Remove the crust from the bread and cut into 5mm cubes. Heat butter in a fry pan with the paprika.
Mix, and stir occasionally, when the butter becomes slightly frothy add the cubed bread, toss to ensure that the bread cubes are soaked with the butter, add salt and pepper,
continue to cook on a low heat until the cubes become crispy,
using a slotted spoon remove the bread from the fry pan and place them on a sheet of absorbent paper to remove the excess fat.
Place under a heat lamp and allow them to dry.....
Recipe- Papaya Salsa
Sauté the prepared red onions in the vegetable oil;
carefully mix all ingredients together, ensuring not to squash the papaya.....
Recipe- Marinated Fetta
Cut the fetta cheese into 1cm cubes, Place in a bowl with the olive oil, rosemary, salt and pepper.
Carefully mix, ensuring that the fetta does not break up in the process.....
Recipe- Balsamic Reduction
Place the vinegar into a saucepan with the brown sugar. Bring to the boil over a medium heat,
reduce to a simmer and allow to reduce until a syrup like consistency has been obtained....
Recipe- Apple Compote
Place all ingredients in a pot, bring to the boil, lower the heat and allow to cook uncovered for 30 minutes.
Stir occasionally ensuring that the apples do not stick to the base on the saucepan.
Cook until the apples are becoming soft and the correct consistency has been achieved.....
