Though Facebook has made the feature less obvious, it is still possible to get an RSS feed of Facebook pages. All you have to do is add the proper Facebook Page ID to the end of this url: http://www.facebook.com/feeds/... Works just fine in my Google Reader. Additionally, you can still use RSS to subscribe to your Facebook Notifications, all your friends shared links, or the links shared by a particular friend. http://www.facebook.com/help/?... Facebook hasn't killed RSS, people just don't know how find it.

Deswegen habe ich gestern mit Marcel Weiß eine Wette abgeschlossen: In zwei Jahren – also im November 2012 – wird Twitter mindestens genau so groß sein, wie Facebook, in Sachen Nutzeranzahlen. Etwas kühn, ich weiß, ich hab mich da hinreißen lassen. Aber wenn ich recht habe und sich herausstellt, dass es sich Zukunft alles nur um Filterung dreht, dann wird sich Twitter einfach als das brauchbarere Tool durchsetzen.
Aber gut, haben auch nur um 50 Euro gewettet.

Erstellt werden diese 80 Prozent der markenbildenden Inhalte von etwa 11 Prozent der Nutzer (Mass Mavens), meist in Diskussionsforen, als Ranglisten oder Besprechungen, als Blogkommentare oder Blogbeiträge. Aufgegriffen und weitergeleitet von den 4 Prozent der „Influencer" können diese Botschaften dann aber schnell ein Millionenpublikum erreichen.
