- I believe my case fits in with several cases I've learned about
  in the last year;

- Those are the ones I've gotten familiar
  with. I have only read one book and it was about a Canadian that
  survived Satanism and it was, "Michelle
  Remembers" by Michelle Smith in 1980.
- Yes, some of us did contact Bridgestone Media Group in St.
  Louis and hope witness will step forward to get the ball
  rolling.
- Wes:
  Very good! The more channels we put this information on, the
  better!
  
  I
  am aware from my own research that these people pass on their
  criminal thinking from generation to generation; meaning the
  children within the cult learn how things are and 'should be'
  from a Nazi point of view by their parents and others within
  that system. Is this something you have noticed, too?
- Debra:
  Yes, they are generational but also allow new recruits. All
  Nazis are informants and they call themselves secret police.
- From the time
  they are children they are brainwashed by all the cultists
  around them. They are deliberately confused to what reality is
  and trained to help keep tabs on those who are their victims.
- They are programmed to watch the victims and catch them off
  guard to assault them. They yell and make a scene by accusing
  them of things in hopes of swaying those around them into
  thinking they are the bad guys.
- Their parents
  reward them and brag about how smart, good, and cute they are
  when they hurt other children and compare them as being stupid,
  bad, and ugly etc.
- The Nazis split the personality
  for two reason that I know of: first to cause mental illness and
  make them easier to control, and then to destroy them mentally
  as reliable witnesses to all the crimes and killing they are
  involved in.
- They also are used as sexual objects just
  like missing children are.
- Wes:
  Which brings me to this queer fact: what most people don't
  realize is that the majority of those cult members don't
  consider themselves being evil; this is the way they were
  brought up and taught by their parents. In their
  twisted way of thinking, they believe what they are doing is for
  the greater good, and absolutely necessary for the future of
  humanity. But please go on...
- Debra: Well, no one is touching on the true meaning of a
  Nazi but it would be more proper to define them as deliberately
  physically brain damaged peoples. They are crazy and there's no
  such thing as a normal minded Nazi.
- It is true that they drown,
  suffocate, smash the soft spots of top of their head, and give
  shots to their newborns to destroys brain cells as part of the
  human guinea pig experimentations.
- All Nazi
  children are trained to cough in the victims faces at school any
  time they are sick so they would catch their flues. They were
  never punished for this, but the victims that complained were
  harassed and called tattle tales by the teachers who themselves
  were Nazis.
- When the investigation started in 1984 there was
  three generations of Nazis involved in human sacrifice,
  cannibalism and drinking human blood.
- While I lived
  at the mass grave location I wrote a journal every Saturday
  night by candle light. Those went to Interpol who still has them
  and most of those can be made public someday.
- But that brings us
  to a major problem of the US and its role in multiple cover-ups.
  They don't just admit that anything is true until many decades
  have passed; then they continue to deny parts.

- I need to make sure people understand that the mass gravesite
  that Eric [Clapton] and I witnessed was a brand new site and the
  only one that I saw in person. We were one of the headquarters
  for Satanists; therefore the entire county had mass gravesites.
  We won't know how many sites until this is out there and the
  citizens force the media to help expose it, but the FBI and CIA
  have all that information.
- The cultists
  were constantly kidnapping people and that went on for three
  full decades that I know of. I've always thought that my county
  held the answer to tens of thousands of missing persons.
- I grew up
  haunted by the image of Eric and I dancing and the people around
  us not being aware that we were the missing link to those
  kidnappings.
  
  Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart and Tom Petty
  were only three of the many rock stars that Debi was friends
  with.
- Wes:
  You have briefly mentioned that you have a twin sister,
  Barbara, but so far we haven't talked too much about her.
  What was her role and what happened to her?
- Debra:
  Yes, Barbara was my twin sister and we set it up to look
  like she was killed and the house burned down with her in it in
  San Francisco in Nov 1984.
- The Nazis were passing around photos
  of her body to everybody in Butler county. It had to look like
  she was dead in order for her to be undercover.
- I saw sixty children about 1986 in Butler
  county that were rescued from the Nazis by the CIA and never
  knew what happened to them, but I think they were never allowed
  back to their parents.
- Once the government uses citizens for guinea pigs it has to be
  kept covered up.
- The CIA and
  FBI that we expected to help us turned out to be a bunch of
  bastards that came in here and put a suicide psy-op on us all,
  including we who were victims.
- The less truth that will be told
  in court the better for the governments as they have to be
  protected themselves from bad publicity even when it means
  killing a primary witness like me.
- Wes:
  Yes, and it's very hard to fight back when wherever you turn
  there is infiltration. And you definitely could not at any time
  get help from the police, obviously...
- Debra:
  I don't know how many cops were Nazis but it was a heck of a lot
  of them. They pretty well ran Butler county when I was growing
  up there.
- One time, when
  I was a teenager talking to some people on the street, a squad
  car came up and the thug that got out pistol-whipped me and I
  fell to the ground. I got up and said, "Take that badge off and
  throw it on the ground so I can spit on it because it offends me
  that a man wearing a badge can pistol-whip me."
- In 1984 when
  the investigation of the cover-up began, the sheriff in Butler
  county was named Link. Interpol already had evidence going
  back to 1971 and then the FBI and CIA came in and watched Link
  until they knew they had all his contacts.
- The CIA psy-op includes giving the Nazis
  chems and bios and before they die a dose of truth serum. I too
  had a dose in 1985 in Osteopathic hospital in Ft Worth. They put
  it in my IV tube and sent a psychiatrist in to question me.
- There was a lot of cops in Ft. Worth that were Nazis as of 1984.
  The one that was FBI that I knew by name was Mike Bond. I
  don't know how many more FBI there were Nazi.
- When I got to the area of Benton county Arkansas and into
  Oklahoma a little bit I knew there was some cops that were Nazi.
- In fact, the mind reader serial killer that I found there was a
  cop with a split personality who killed forty people. I sent his
  name and some info to NBC news in Oklahoma City in January.

  that can be told about what happened in Butler County, and
  unfortunately this interview would be way too long if we

- Eric said all they were
  waiting for was for me to give the go ahead if I thought I could
  do the show without missing a dance step. I told him to set the
  date, and as it turned out, Eric set a date in July.
- In order to have so many famous people there,
  we pretended the party was my birthday present. Eric pretended
  he was presenting me as being ready for the stage life.
- The Nazi
  crime families allowed us to do the show with the understanding
  that they were on the verge on making big money of me.
- Eric and I
  played the leading roles. The plans went smoothly and when I got
  there Eric was on stage singing "Cocaine."
- Everyone was in place for the role they were to play without a
  script and Eric chose a singles bar named "Players."
- As I went into the
  building he stopped singing and called me Layla. I went on the
  stage with him and we sang a duet that we had sung for all those
  years titled "Someone Like You."
- Then we did waltz and ball
  room dances where I danced with Eric, Carlos, and Bob Jones
  [the Interpol Agent, see Part 1 of this interview, Wes Penre].
- I did my comedy routine and with that
  part done we just talked and people quoted songs.
- One of my
  lines in the movie went like this, when I am talking to Eric:
  "Who's turn is it to beat up your wife yours or mine; just write
  it in your next love letter."
- At that time, President Ronald Reagan called and thanked me for
  not discussing UFOs...
- Wes: Really? Why
  did he do that? Doesn't that seem kind of odd?
- Debra: It was! What I didn't know at the
  time was that the Iran Contra scandal had been going on for
  about a year or more. I think Interpol probably knew about that
  as they were watching our government.
- Shortly before that, maybe
  in the late 70s, some kind of yet undisclosed turmoil was
  unfolding in the area of Iran.
- We had CIA there of course and
  some Americans were taken hostage. Right after that Reagan took
  office and we began, (if not sooner) making bombs. I know that
  because I was a factory worker and a heat treating company
  needed someone that could work part time.
- The metal that I was testing for hardness with a zerominder
  tester was the detonators for the bombs. I had to estimate the
  number of detonators I was seeing go through the factory each month
  and it was about a million.
- While I was on the job we dropped a
  few of them babies in the middle east but not many.
- I knew we
  were going to end up back over there as we continued to make
  bombs for a few years that I know of. Then in 1990 we went to
  Desert Storm and I knew we still had plenty of bombs left so I
  knew we were going back.
- The point I'm getting at is I
  couldn't figure out the real reason the president called me. I
  thought he actually thought that we were going to get to the
  subject of the bombs I knew we were making and expose Iran
  Contra.
- We're there today involved in the
  desert war version of Vietnam.
- Now I have run across info that says he was briefed on
  UFOs in 81 and made remarks about them about three more times as
  a matter of record.
- When Iran Contra went public a few years later, I think about 89, I
  thought that was the reason he called; fear that we knew and
  were going to expose that in our movie, but we had something more
  important to expose that night.
- I may never know the real reason he called.
- "Thank you for what you said; In the
  name of National Security I can't discuss UFOs."

  Yes, please go on...
- Debra: Well, there were some fights in the movie that were
  real fights where a couple of Nazis got beaten up. Of course we
  left those fights in the movie.
- The theme of the comedy was that I was the one that was unknown
  but talented and had a lot of famous boyfriends. I was to choose
  a lover to marry in the movie; Eric, Carlos, or Bob Jones.
- We had
  good music, good dancing, good jokes, and good fights in the
  show. The night went smoothly just like we planned. We had
  national and foreign media and satellite setups and it was
  lights and cameras lined up on the highway as far as we could see.
- It was an all star cast and it was what I
  call the heist because the Nazis never made money off me.
- It was a once in a lifetime deal, and anyone that was there was
  really excited over the prospect of exposing the organized
  crime.
- That is what the Nazis in the building with us didn't
  know, that they were being exposed for what they were.
- That is
  why the media was there, because they knew we were entrapped and
  doing something that would lead to a halt of the coup. The media
  has always known about the coup in the US but it could not be
  public before 1984.
- Now there's the problem of the media still
  silent after all these years since the movie was made.
- Wes: Yes, I am not surprised. The
  Media are owned by the same people you were exposing, and
  although there are good, honest reporters working for them as
  well, they are very limited at what they can publish or not.
  They are just as trapped as we all are...
- Now,
  what exactly did you do with the
  movie once it was made, whom did you give it to, and who is in
  possession of it now?
- Debra: I don't
  know why the movie was never released, unless it's because of the
  cover-up, but the producer will have the original.
- The FBI agent
  Jerry Smith approached me shortly after and wanted a copy of the
  script. I told him there was no script.
- The media have copies of
  the movie,
  including Jane Garrity of NBC, which was the local news media.
  
  NBC was allowed to stay in the room for the
  complete movie.
- One of the other station's anchors named
  Clarice Tinsley was said to be a Nazi and I think she
  wasn't' allowed inside; I'm not sure who told me that.
- Rolling
  Stone Magazine was there; ET's Mary Hart was there, and I don't know if MTV was there; both those
  shows where new back at that time.
- Also the local District
  Attorney who was a Nazi was allowed to be there, but I didn't ask
  what his name was.
- Wes: How did you present the movie, so that the Nazis
  could be exposed?
- Debra: Hollywood and the music crowd made the plans, and
  all I had to do was discuss a few things with Eric and Carlos.
- Then with a date set everyone involved knew what they would want
  to say or do in the movie. The Nazis didn't realize they were
  being exposed and they couldn't kill us on stage because too much
  media was there.
- They didn't trust us but they were being tempted
  with multi million dollars worth of royalties. So they fell for
  it to allow us to get together that night. Greed really did
  bring down the Nazis.
- With cameras rolling, the Nazis harassed us
  even while we were on stage. They yelled, tried to distract us
  and made terrible remarks to make us miss a step or fall.
- While
  we were sitting and talking they would try to hit us, so the
  fights in the movie are real fights. They were showing and
  proving to the media that they controlled us, and we were proving
  they're not for that one night.
- So when the public see it, and
  eventually they will, it is all real stuff but it was a pivot
  point in our goal.
- I know when people see someone famous like Eric they think in terms of music. When I saw
  Eric I thought in
  terms of one of my men being very important to the covert unit.
- I don't want to sound cold hearted, but I used to worry that if he OD'd on drugs it could be accident, suicide, or murder and we
  would never know which. It would also have been a set back in our
  endeavor as the plans would have changed if any key players
  died.
- Wes: Now, can you tell us the details on what the movie
  was about and what made it so revealing?
- Debra: I think of it as a duel or parallel movie,
  and we
  accomplished two missions. We made a romantic comedy that's
  worth a fortune as a money maker that appeased the Nazis.
- It was
  a one of a kind movie that had never been done before, as we had
  no script but a lot of good music.
- The main agenda was to allow
  the Nazis in the movie with us to interfere so people can see
  what we were going through every day of our lives. They were
  being exposed in a round a bout way and they got nervous and
  tried to ruin the show for us.
- Wes: So if I understand this correctly, you let the Nazis
  participate, being themselves in a revealing way? My question
  then is, if you used this movie as proof of a conspiracy and a
  coup taking place, was this evidence enough? Couldn't the
  participating Nazis after the fact just say they were told to
  play this role and that they've been set up? Or something
  similar, which would put reasonable doubt into the picture?
- Debra: Yes the Nazis were allowed to be in the movie,
  there was no getting rid of those psychopaths anyway.
- There was
  a ton of evidence already gathered up for fifteen years with no
  one to trust to hand it over to. The Nazis actually were set up
  and we learned how to do a set up from them as they constantly
  set us up for falls.
- The entertainment media knew as well as the
  news media that we were not all equally free.
- Some of us were -
  well lets be blunt about it - we were referred to as slaves. All
  the media knew not to put certain info out there for the public.
  It was such a huge undertaking that it was mind boggling.
- Anytime Eric or Carlos or anyone else told the paparazzi not to
  make a photo public they respected that.
- We had put out word
  that an assassination was going to happen that night during the
  movie. We had to have a good reason to allow all that media in
  there and it worked out fine. By being there, the assassin
  couldn't carry out his deed, but there was no assassin anyway.
- The media waited a good many years for everything to fall into
  place. They were perfectly behaved and aware that on that stage
  something more than a song and dance was going on.
- We were
  secretly performing a historical military maneuver that someday
  will be made public.
- It's difficult for me to put some of my
  story into words because I spent a lifetime silent in order to
  keep people protected. I kept foreign agents so covered that no
  one ever knew they were here until they revealed themselves in
  1984.
- Wes: Did you meet with other celebrities as well, and if
  so, in what way were they involved?
- Debra:
  Each celebrity played themselves in the comedy. I may not
  remember all of those who where there but I do remember some:
- Tom Petty, Andy Warhol, Mickey Gilley, Willie Nelson, Robert
  Cray, the lovely Goldie Hawn, Grandpa Jones (Hew Haw),
  Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, and BB King.
- I don't remember any
  of The Beatles being there but I think the lovely Yoko Ono was
  there.
- Also one top secret rock star that people thought had
  died but was still alive was there
- and of course Eric, Carlos,
  and myself.
- The lovely Mary Hart of ET [Entertainment
  Tonight, editor's note], which was a new program
  at the time, was there too.
- And last of all but not least is the
  lovely Farrarh Fawcett whom I pray for all the time. I hope
  others are praying for her as well, in her struggle against cancer, as we
  all know someone affected by that terrible disease.
- BB King
  was one of the all time favorites to all of us and we
  were proud that he was our pied piper of skinny white kids.
- What was good about BB is he actually liked us
  young ones and watching us grow with individual interpretations
  of the blues.
- With gospel being my first musical passion in life, I continued
  to explore the possibility that not all music was devil music.
- We were hearing that back in those days about the new music like
  The Beatles.
- At the time I didn't realize how true it was, but
  the Satanist had infiltrated the music scene as well as
  Hollywood.
- I also learned it was not The Beatles that were devils, or their
  music. The real culprits were in the shadows behind them, out of
  sight; the unseen crime families with sinister intent.
- Back in
  those days Hollywood was the Mecca of mammon to the Nazis and
  they were a greedy lot. They would sell your soul to rock and
  roll and your children's too. They would warp your mind with a
  very intense control and even tell you not to think.
- A few more folks I met, some in Missouri and others later after I
  moved to Texas, were Bill Murray (comedian), ZZ Top, Frank Zappa Sr.,
  Stevie Ray Vaughn, Rod Steward, Phil Collins, Hank Williams, and
  the lovely Carly Simon.
- Carly came to meet me while I was in
  high school and said she heard that someday I'm going to name a
  daughter after her because I just loved her. Carlos and I have
  twins named Carlos and Carly. I think on that trip to Missouri
  was Carly, Duane Allman, Eric, Carlos, The Beatles and
  Pattie
  Boyd.
- In fact I think it was my first meeting with Pattie Boyd and I
  didn't know who she was. But she kept saying something under her
  breath while staring at me.
- I told her off and asked Eric who the blonde was, and he said she was
  George Harrison's
  wife. I think I told him not to bring her around anymore because
  I didn't have time for jealous games and I didn't want George
  anyway. That's when he said it was himself she was jealous over,
  not George.
- From then on I thought she was obsessed with Eric.
  But worst than that was that she dedicated her life to following
  me and causing trouble; she even screamed that I can't use Layla
  for a stage name.
- I didn't exactly meet the band Police, but they played at the
  Pavillion some time in 1979, or after - I can't remember, in Arlington, Texas.
- One of the undercover agents
  asked them to play a song that he could dance to with me and they
  introduced me as Layla, the girlfriend to Clapton and Santana. I
  think what we danced to was "Roxanne."
- Eric's name undercover was Boss but it was also the
  nickname of the agent in charge of all of us, Bob Jones.
- Carlos
  was the Mexican and mine was the Pro.
- Bob Jones named me that
  because I survived by knowing how to mentally deal with the
  Nazis, and it meant being psychologically professional.

- Gov. Rick Perry had some pretty strong comments about the Obama administration on Wednesday in Midland, saying,
- “This is an administration hell-bent on taking America towards a socialist country.”

- The first part of Perry’s remarks focused on what’s called the Alien Transfer and Exit Program, something that he has been talking about for more than a week.
- Perry describes it as a plan where illegal immigrants who are captured in Arizona are sent to the small Texas town of Presidio and set free.
- It’s a sign that the Obama administration is trying to punish Texas, Perry said, adding that members of the state’s congressional delegation, as well as his office, weren’t given any warning of the administration’s plans for Presidio.
- But there’s more to the program than Perry described.
- According to a story by the CBS affiliate in Odessa, the illegal immigrants are returned to Mexico via secured buses.
- The station also reported, “last year 4,500 illegals were sent back through Presidio. Now 94 will be bused across this bridge 7 days a week.”
- In addition, Brandi Grissom of the Texas Tribune reported last month that Bill Brooks, spokesman for the Border Patrol Marfa Sector, where Presidio is located, said the plan would not create any burden on the local community.
- Grissom wrote, “The plan will bring two buses per day to Texas, each with 74 undocumented immigrants. The immigrants will be checked for health problems and will have signed voluntary deportation agreements. The program will not involve immigrants charged with criminal violations, Brooks said. Mexican officials are participating and will provide the immigrants with bus tickets to their hometowns, Brooks said.”
- Advocates for the program say the point of transferring the immigrants from Arizona to Texas is to breaking the smuggling cycle that allowed them to enter in the first place, Robert Gilbert, the Tucson sector chief for the U.S. Border Patrol, wrote in a January op-ed.
- He wrote that in 2008 (during the Bush administration), more than 10,000 illegal immigrants were removed through the program (although it did not go through Texas then).

- This time north of Tahlequah on rural State Highway 82 at Gideon, near Peggs, experiences include the thud of heavy footsteps running and shaking the ground, large footprints in the mud and a very strong, musky odor.
- Urban legends abound and can be tracked worldwide on the Internet from sworn affidavit accounts to obvious nonsense.
- But in an area known as Muphy’s Hill, between two branches of 14-Mile Creek, Sheryl Mast is sure she didn’t imagine the loud bang against the side of the trailer and the terrible smell.
- She’s lived there about a year. The closest neighbors are about five miles away, other than a second trailer that sets besides her boyfriends’, where a friend lives.
- The Bigfoot is curious, Mast said, and is getting to be a regular visitor. “It’s getting bolder, coming out in the daytime,” she said.
- “Sunday afternoon the wind shifted and we smelled it.”
- Mast said she went up in the front part of the yard by the lane, where her dog was upset in a pen. “She was crying and moaning and squealing and I found a beer bottle in the pen,” she said. “Something broke the whole door almost in half.”
- A beer can was found in the area where trash is burned, “and none of us drink,” said Mast.
- On previous visits the Bigfoot has left small signs of being in the area. “It tore a branch off a tree in May,” Mast said. “And I think it threw our little dog against the trailer. When I opened the door it was panting and kept coughing for two days.”
- The dogs usually chase people, she noticed, “but they get really quiet when this thing is around.”
- Mast said the first time the Bigfoot came was around was in February. Their friend moved into the trailer in March. “He said he heard a deep, low growl and something shook his trailer,” Mast said.
- One night they were outside talking and the dogs got still. Then the little dog started barking and chasing something tall and furry, which they saw running between the trailers. They went inside and locked the door.
- “It banged on the door,” she said. “Then we could hear and feel heavy footsteps running away.”
- There were no markings or dents left on the trailer, but this is when the little dog may have been, “picked up and tossed at the trailer,” Mast said.
- “It would have to be really big, have big hands, to pick up that little Jack Russell and throw it.” A lock hanging on the door was knocked or thrown and later found under the trailer
- Two weeks ago she said the whole trailer shook. It only lasted five minutes, she said, “but we were scared to death.”
- They looked outside with a lantern but only smelled a strong musky odor. Mast thinks the location of the two trailers between two creeks may bother the creature, that they’re in its way.
- There’s a path worn in the tall grass leading down the hill and to the woods, Mast said with, “a mashed down area where something has been laying. “We have no deer here and that’s strange for this area and by two creeks.”
- She’s not so much afraid, as uncomfortable.
- “So many appearances make me think we’re getting closer to a confrontation,” she said.
- “You know the feeling something is watching you. It gives you tingles.” It makes you really wonder what’s out there, she said.
- “I don’t feel threatened. I think it’s curious about us.”
- Since the 1990s sightings have been documented in the Daily Press by citizens certain what they saw was not a bear. And it always had a strong odor.
- As early as the 1800s reports have been given about Sasquatch from frontiersmen and Indians.
- Wherever it’s seen, by whatever name, Bigfoot remains an unidentified mysterious animal whose existence has been reported but not proven - a cryptid.

- On a remote edge of Utah's dry and arid high desert, where temperatures often zoom past 100 degrees, hard-hatted construction workers with top-secret clearances are preparing to build what may become America's equivalent of Jorge Luis Borges's "Library of Babel,"
- a place where the collection of information is both infinite and at the same time monstrous, where the entire world's knowledge is stored, but not a single word is understood.
- At a million square feet, the mammoth $2 billion structure will be one-third larger than the US Capitol and will use the same amount of energy as every house in Salt Lake City combined.
- Unlike Borges's "labyrinth of letters," this library expects few visitors.
- It's being built by the ultra-secret National Security Agency—which is primarily responsible for "signals intelligence," the collection and analysis of various forms of communication—to house trillions of phone calls, e-mail messages, and data trails: Web searches, parking receipts, bookstore visits, and other digital "pocket litter."
- Lacking adequate space and power at its city-sized Fort Meade, Maryland, headquarters, the NSA is also completing work on another data archive, this one in San Antonio, Texas, which will be nearly the size of the Alamodome.
- A clue comes from a recent report prepared by the MITRE Corporation, a Pentagon think tank. "As the sensors associated with the various surveillance missions improve," says the report, referring to a variety of technical collection methods, "the data volumes are increasing with a projection that sensor data volume could potentially increase to the level of Yottabytes (10²⁴ Bytes) by 2015."^[1]
- Just how much information will be stored in these windowless cybertemples?
- Roughly equal to about a septillion (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) pages of text, numbers beyond Yottabytes haven't yet been named.
- Once vacuumed up and stored in these near-infinite "libraries," the data are then analyzed by powerful infoweapons, supercomputers running complex algorithmic programs, to determine who among us may be—or may one day become—a terrorist.
- In the NSA's world of automated surveillance on steroids, every bit has a history and every keystroke tells a story.
- In the near decade since September 11, the tectonic plates beneath the American intelligence community have undergone a seismic shift, knocking the director of the CIA from the top of the organizational chart and replacing him with the new director of national intelligence, a desk-bound espiocrat with a large staff but little else.
- Not only surviving the earthquake but emerging as the most powerful chief the spy world has ever known was the director of the NSA.
- He is in charge of an organization three times the size of the CIA and empowered in 2008 by Congress to spy on Americans to an unprecedented degree, despite public criticism of the Bush administration's use of the agency to conduct warrantless domestic surveillance as part of the "war on terror."
- The legislation also largely freed him of the nettlesome Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA). And in another significant move, he was recently named to head the new Cyber Command, which also places him in charge of the nation's growing force of cyber warriors.
- Wasting no time, the agency has launched a building boom, doubling the size of its headquarters, expanding its listening posts, and constructing enormous data factories.
- One clue to the possible purpose of the highly secret megacenters comes from the agency's British partner, Government Communications Headquarters. Last year, the British government proposed the creation of an enormous government-run central database to store details on every phone call, e-mail, and Internet search made in the United Kingdom.
- Click a "send" key or push an "answer" button and the details of the communication end up, perhaps forever, in the government's data warehouse to be scrutinized and analyzed.
- But when the plans were released by the UK government, there was an immediate outcry from both the press and the public, leading to the scrapping of the "big brother database," as it was called.
- In its place, however, the government came up with a new plan. Instead of one vast, centralized database, the telecom companies and Internet service providers would be required to maintain records of all details about people's phone, e-mail, and Web-browsing habits for a year and to permit the government access to them when asked.
- That has led again to public anger and to a protest by the London Internet Exchange, which represents more than 330 telecommunications firms. "We view...the volume of data the government now proposes [we] should collect and retain will be unprecedented, as is the overall level of intrusion into the privacy of citizenry," the group said in August.^[2]
- Unlike the British government, which, to its great credit, allowed public debate on the idea of a central data bank, the NSA obtained the full cooperation of much of the American telecom industry in utmost secrecy after September 11.
- For example, the agency built secret rooms in AT&T's major switching facilities where duplicate copies of all data are diverted, screened for key names and words by computers, and then transmitted on to the agency for analysis. Thus, these new centers in Utah, Texas, and possibly elsewhere will likely become the centralized repositories for the data intercepted by the NSA in America's version of the "big brother database" rejected by the British.
- Matthew M. Aid has been after the NSA's secrets for a very long time. As a sergeant and Russian linguist in the NSA's Air Force branch, he was arrested and convicted in a court-martial, thrown into prison, and slapped with a bad conduct discharge for impersonating an officer and making off with a stash of NSA documents stamped Top Secret Codeword.
- He now prefers to obtain the NSA's secrets legally, through the front door of the National Archives. The result is The Secret Sentry: The Untold History of the National Security Agency , a footnote-heavy history told largely through declassified but heavily redacted NSA reports that have been slowly trickling out of the agency over the years. They are most informative in the World War II period but quickly taper off in substance during the cold war.
- Aid begins his study on the eve of Pearl Harbor, a time when the entire American cryptologic force could fit into a small, half-empty community theater.
- But by war's end, it would take a football stadium to seat the 37,000 military and civilian "crippies."
- On August 14, 1945, as the ink dried on Japan's instruments of surrender, the linguists and codebreakers manning the thirty-seven key listening posts around the world were reading more than three hundred diplomatic code and cipher systems belonging to sixty countries.
- "The American signals intelligence empire stood at the zenith of its power and prestige," notes Aid. But within days, the cryptanalysts put away their well-sharpened pencils and the intercept operators hung up their earphones. By the end of December 1945, America's crypto world had shrunk to 7,500 men and women.
- Despite the drastic layoffs, the small cadre of US and British codebreakers excelled against the new "main enemy," as Russia became known.
- The joint US-British effort deciphered tens of thousands of Russian army and navy messages during the mid-to-late 1940s. But on October 29, 1948, as President Truman was about to deliver a campaign speech in New York, the party was over.
- In what became known within the crypto world as "Black Friday," the Russian government and military flipped a switch and instantly converted to new, virtually unbreakable encryption systems and from vulnerable radio signals to buried cables. In the war between spies and machines, the spies won.
- The Soviets had managed to recruit William Weisband, a forty-year-old Russian linguist working for the US Army, who informed them of key cryptologic weaknesses the Americans were successfully exploiting. It was a blow from which the codebreakers would never recover. NSA historians called it "perhaps the most significant intelligence loss in US history."
- In the 1970s, when some modest gains were made in penetrating the Russian systems, history would repeat itself and another American turncoat, this time Ronald Pelton, would again give away the US secrets.
- Since then, it has largely been a codemaker's market not only with regard to high-level Russian ciphers, but also those of other key countries, such as China and North Korea. On the other hand, the NSA has made significant progress against less cryptologically sophisticated countries and, from them, gained insight into plans and intentions of countries about which the US has greater concerns.
- Thus, when a Chinese diplomat at the United Nations discusses some new African venture with a colleague from Sudan, the eavesdroppers at the NSA may be deaf to the Chinese communications links but they may be able to get that same information by exploiting weaknesses in Sudan's communications and cipher systems when the diplomat reports the meeting to Khartoum.
- But even third-world cryptography can be daunting. During the entire war in Vietnam, writes Aid, the agency was never able to break the high-level encryption systems of either the North Vietnamese or the Vietcong. It is a revelation that leads him to conclude "that everything we thought we knew about the role of NSA in the Vietnam War needs to be reconsidered."
- Because the book is structured chronologically, it is somewhat difficult to decipher the agency's overall record. But one sees troubling trends.
- One weakness that seems to recur is that the agency, set up in the wake of World War II to prevent another surprise attack, is itself frequently surprised by attacks and other serious threats.
- In the 1950s, as over 100,000 heavily armed North Korean troops surged across the 38th parallel into South Korea, the codebreakers were among the last to know. "The North Korean target was ignored," says a declassified NSA report quoted by Aid.
- "North Korea got lost in the shuffle and nobody told us that they were interested in what was going on north of the 38th parallel," exclaimed one intelligence officer. At the time, astonishingly, the Armed Forces Security Agency (AFSA), the NSA's predecessor, didn't even have a Korean-language dictionary.
- Unfortunately for General Douglas MacArthur, the codebreakers were able to read the communications of Spain's ambassador to Tokyo and other diplomats, who noted that in their discussions with the general, he made clear his secret hope for all-out war with China and Russia, including the use of nuclear weapons if necessary.
- In a rare instance of secret NSA intercepts playing a major part in US politics, once the messages were shown to President Truman, MacArthur's career abruptly ended.
- Another major surprise came in the 1960s when the Soviet Union was able to move large numbers of personnel, large amounts of equipment, and many ballistic missiles to Cuba without the NSA hearing a peep.
- Still unable to break into the high-level Soviet cipher systems, the agency was unaware that the 51st Rocket Division had packed up and was encamped in Cuba. Nor did it detect the move of five complete medium-range and intermediate-range missile regiments from their Russian bases to Cuba.
- And it had no knowledge that Russian ballistic missiles were on Cuban soil, being positioned in launchers. "Soviet communications security was almost perfect," according to an NSA historian.
- The first clues that something unusual was happening had come in mid-July 1962, when NSA analysts noticed record numbers of Soviet cargo and passenger ships heading for Cuba. Analysis of their unencrypted shipping manifests led the NSA to suspect that the ships were delivering weapons.
- But the nuclear-armed ballistic missiles were not detected until mid-October, a month after their arrival, and not by the NSA; it was the CIA, acting on information from its sources in Cuba and Florida, that ordered the U-2 reconnaisance flight that photographed them at launch sites on the island.
- "The crisis," Aid concludes, "was in fact anything but an intelligence success story."
- This is a view shared by the agency itself in a candid internal history, which noted that the harrowing events "marked the most significant failure of SIGINT [signals intelligence] to warn national leaders since World War II."
- More recently, the NSA was unaware of India's impending nuclear test in 1998, the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center, the attack on the USS Cole in 2000, and the 1998 bombing of two of America's East African embassies.
- The agency first learned of the September 11 attacks on $300 television sets tuned to CNN, not its billion-dollar eavesdropping satellites tuned to al-Qaeda.
- Then there is the pattern by which the NSA was actually right about a warning, but those in power chose to ignore it. During the Korean War, the AFSA picked up numerous indications from low-level unencrypted Chinese intercepts that the Chinese were shifting hundreds of thousands of combat troops to Manchuria by rail, an obvious signal that China might enter the war. But those in charge of Army intelligence simply refused to believe it; it didn't fit in with their plans.
- Then, by reading the dispatches between India's well-connected ambassador to Beijing and his Foreign Office, it became clear that China would intervene if UN forces crossed the 38th parallel into North Korea. But again, says Aid, the warning "was either discounted or ignored completely by policymakers in Washington,"
- and as the UN troops began crossing the divide, Chinese troops crossed the Yalu River into North Korea. Even when intercepts indicated that the Chinese were well entrenched in the North, officials in Washington and Seoul remained in a state of disbelief, until both South Korean and US forces there were attacked by the Chinese forces.
- The pattern was repeated in Vietnam when NSA reporting warned on January 25, 1968, that a major coordinated attack would occur "in the near future in several areas of South Vietnam." But neither the White House, the CIA, nor General William Westmoreland at US military headquarters in Saigon believed it, until over 100,000 North Vietnamese and Vietcong troops launched their Tet offensive in the South five days later on January 30.
- "The [NSA] reports failed to shake the commands in Washington and Saigon from their perception," says an NSA history. Tragically, Aid notes, at the end of the war, all of the heroic Vietnamese cryptologic personnel who greatly helped the NSA were left behind. "Many," the NSA report reveals, "undoubtedly perished."
- Then again in 1973, as in Korea and Vietnam, the NSA warned that Egypt and Syria were planning "a major offensive" against Israel. But, as Aid quotes an official NSA history, the CIA refused to believe that an attack was imminent "because [they thought] the Arabs wouldn't be 'stupid enough' to attack Israel." They were, they did, and they won.
- Everything seemed to go right for the NSA during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, which the agency had accurately forecast.
- "NSA predicted on December 22 [1979], three full days before the first Soviet troops crossed the Soviet–Afghan border, that the Russians would invade Afghanistan within the next seventy-two hours," writes Aid, adding, "Afghanistan may have been the 'high water mark' for NSA."
- The agency also recorded the words of the Russian fighter pilot and his ground controllers as he shot down Korean Airlines Flight 007 in 1983.
- Although the agency knew that the Russians had accidently mistaken the plane for a potentially hostile US military aircraft, the Reagan administration nevertheless deliberately spun the intercepts to make it seem that the fighter pilot knew all along that it was a passenger jet, infuriating NSA officials.
- "The White House's selective release of the most salacious of the NSA material concerning the shootdown set off a firestorm of criticism inside NSA," writes Aid. It was not the first time, nor would it be the last, that the NSA's product was used for political purposes.
- The most troubling pattern, however, is that the NSA, through gross incompetence, bad intelligence, or deliberate deception through the selective release of information, has helped to push the US into tragic wars.
- A prime example took place in 1964 when the Johnson administration claimed that two US Navy destroyers in the Gulf of Tonkin, one on an eavesdropping mission for the NSA, were twice attacked by North Vietnamese torpedo boats. Those attacks were then used to justify the escalation of American involvement in the Vietnam War.
- But Aid cites a top-secret NSA analysis of the incident, completed in 2000, which concluded that the second attack, the one used to justify the war, never took place.
- Instead, NSA officials deliberately withheld 90 percent of the intelligence on the attacks and told the White House only what it wanted to hear. According to the analysis, only intelligence "that supported the claim that the communists had attacked the two destroyers was given to administration officials."
- Not having learned its lesson, in the lead-up to the war in Iraq the NSA again told the administration only what it wanted to hear, despite the clearly ambiguous nature of the evidence.
- For years beforehand, the agency's coverage of Iraq was disastrous. In the late 1990s, the Iraqis began shifting much of their high-level military communications from radio to buried fiber optic networks, and at the same time, Saddam Hussein banned the use of cell phones. That left only occasional low-level troop communications.
- According to a later review, Aid writes, NSA had "virtually no useful signals intelligence on a target that was one of the United States' top intelligence priorities." And the little intelligence it did have pointed away from Iraq possessing weapons of mass destruction.
- "We looked long and hard for any signs," said one retired NSA official. "We just never found a 'smoking gun' that Saddam was trying to build nukes or anything else." That, however, did not prevent the NSA director, Lieutenant Gen. Michael V. Hayden, from stamping his approval on the CIA's 2002 National Intelligence Estimate arguing that Iraq's WMDs posed a grave danger, which helped prepare the way for the devastating war.
- While much of the terrain Aid covers has been explored before, the most original areas in The Secret Sentry deal with the ground wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, where the NSA was forced to marry, largely unsuccessfully, its super-high-tech strategic capabilities in space with its tactical forces on the ground.
- Before the September 11 attacks, the agency's coverage of Afghanistan was even worse than that of Iraq. At the start of the war, the NSA's principal listening post for the region did not have a single linguist proficient in Pashto or Dari, Afghanistan's two principal languages.
- Agency recruiters descended on Fremont, California, home of the country's largest population of Afghan expatriates, to build up a cadre of translators—only to have most candidates rejected by the agency's overparanoid security experts.
- On the plus side, because of the collapse of the Taliban regime's rudimentary communications system, its leaders were forced to communicate only by satellite phones, which were very susceptible to NSA monitoring.
- Other NSA tactical teams, Aid explains, collaborated on the ground with Special Forces units, including in the mountains of Tora Bora. But it was a new type of war, one the NSA was not prepared for, and both Osama bin Laden and Taliban leader Mullah Omar easily slipped through its electronic net
- Eight years later, despite billions of dollars spent by the agency and dozens of tapes released by bin Laden, the NSA is no closer to capturing him or Mullah Omar than it was at Tora Bora in 2001.
- Disappointingly, the weakest section of the book, mostly summaries of old news clips, deals with what may be the most important subject: the NSA's warrantless eavesdropping and its targeting of American communications.
- There is no discussion, for example, of the agency's huge data-mining centers, mentioned above, currently being built in Utah and Texas, or to what extent the agency, which has long been confined to foreign and international communications, is now engaged in domestic eavesdropping.
- It is a key question and we have no precise answer. By installing its intercept rooms in such locations as AT&T's main switching station in downtown San Francisco, the agency has physical access to domestic as well as international communications.
- Thus it is possible that the agency scans all the e-mail of both and it may also eavesdrop on the telephone calls of both for targets on its ever-growing watch lists.
- According to a recent Justice Department report, "As of December 31, 2008, the consolidated terrorist watchlist contained more than 1.1 million known or suspected terrorist identities."^[3]
- Aid's history becomes thin as it gets closer to the present day and the archival documents dwindle, especially since he has no substantial first-person, on-the-record interviews.
- Beyond a brief mention, he also leaves other important aspects of the NSA's history unaddressed, including the tumultuous years in the mid-1970s when it was investigated by the Senate's Church Committee for decades of illegal spying; Trailblazer, the nearly decade-long failure to modernize the agency; and the NSA's increasingly important role in cyberwarfare and its implications in future wars.
- Where does all this leave us? Aid concludes that the biggest problem facing the agency is not the fact that it's drowning in untranslated, indecipherable, and mostly unusable data, problems that the troubled new modernization plan, Turbulence, is supposed to eventually fix.

- With supercomputers measured by the acre and estimated $70 million annual electricity bills for its headquarters, the agency has begun browning out, which is the reason for locating its new data centers in Utah and Texas. And as it pleads for more money to construct newer and bigger power generators, Aid notes, Congress is balking.
- In its top-secret world, the coin of the realm is the kilowatt. More electrical power ensures bigger data centers. Bigger data centers, in turn, generate a need for more access to phone calls and e-mail and, conversely, less privacy. The more data that comes in, the more reports flow out. And the more reports that flow out, the more political power for the agency.
- The issue is critical because at the NSA, electrical power is political power.
- Rather than give the NSA more money for more power—electrical and political—some have instead suggested just pulling the plug.
- "NSA can point to things they have obtained that have been useful," Aid quotes former senior State Department official Herbert Levin, a longtime customer of the agency, "but whether they're worth the billions that are spent, is a genuine question in my mind."
- Based on the NSA's history of often being on the wrong end of a surprise and a tendency to mistakenly get the country into, rather than out of, wars, it seems to have a rather disastrous cost-benefit ratio.

- The September 11 attacks are a case in point. For more than a year and a half the NSA was eavesdropping on two of the lead hijackers, knowing they had been sent by bin Laden, while they were in the US preparing for the attacks.

  While deer hunting from house blind, I started hearing godawful sounds. Whoops, howling and growling.
- Where I am hunting it is extremely thick woods. This sound was coming from my left hand side and I could not see what was making the noise. There was something shaking the small pine trees. And there was a whistling noise.

- Investigator's Comments

- This investigation was conducted as a result of an incident that allegedly occurred in Hardin County, Texas on 24 November 2004.
- I spoke to the witness at length after he had attended a TBRC meeting in College Station, Texas. The witness was interviewed in a face-to-face setting at the meeting by Daryl Colyer and several other TBRC investigators.
- Onsite in the Big Thicket
- The witness told of a time when he was deer hunting on property belonging to a private hunting club in Hardin County. The location was near Silsbee, not far from the Big Thicket National Preserve unit known as the Turkey Creek Unit and about one half mile from Village Creek.
- The front edge of a cold front was just arriving at the time of the incident and the weather had turned cold and a light rain had begun to fall.
- The witness had driven his ATV out to his deer stand which sat on an old fire/logging road. The witness had arrived at the stand at approximately 3:00 P.M. and had been sitting quietly for over two hours without seeing any deer.
- At approximately 5:15-5:30 P.M., just before dusk, the witness heard a loud roar just east of his location. The witness was understandably startled and turned to try and identify the animal that was vocalizing; however, he was unable to see anything in the thick brush east of his blind.
- Meanwhile, the vocalizations continued. In addition to the roaring, the witness described hearing screaming, whistling, deep growling, and what he described as a sound “like someone stomping their foot.”
- Shortly after the vocalizations began the witness saw several young pine trees being violently shaken. The trees, according to the witness, were seven to eight feet tall. Again, the witness could not see what was vocalizing or shaking the trees.
- The witness said he was absolutely terrified and wasted no time getting out of his stand and onto his ATV in order to vacate the area.
- The witness has been an avid hunter for over 40 years and knows the sounds of the woods. He claims to have never heard anything like he heard that day before and has heard nothing like it since.
- The witness still goes hunting but admits to being “much more wary and a bit uneasy out there.”
- He believes all the vocalizations he heard that day were produced by the same individual. While he never caught a glimpse of the animal he is sure it was quite large and heavy. He bases this assumption on the volume of the roaring and screaming and the “foot stomping” noises.
- He also mentioned that he sat about ten feet off the ground while in his blind and the animal seemed to be right at ear level. He feels quite sure that he did not encounter any known animal that afternoon.
- Another view of the area.
- I find it unlikely any documented animal known to live in the area could have been responsible for the vocalizations and tree shaking this witness experienced. The entire incident is very similar to intimidation displays of the known great apes. Similar intimidation tactics have been reported in conjunction with alleged sasquatch encounters before. It is possible the witness was on the receiving end of just such an intimidation tactic in this case.
- Our evaluation of the witness is that he was truthful in his account of the events; we could discern no signs of deception.
- His description of events fits within the parameters of classic great ape intimidation behavior.
- We found the witness's description of “foot stomping” noises to be particularly interesting.
- The witness was not too proud to say that he was extremely scared by what happened and he got out of there as quickly as possible. Although his report involved no physical evidence, due to our evaluation of finding the witness completely reliable, and due to the ruling out of known indigenous wildlife as being responsible for the unnerving vocalizations and foot-stomping noises, and particularly the violent shaking of the pine saplings, we have classified the report as a 3B.

- As I mentioned a couple of days ago, good friend - and fellow creature-seeker - Ken Gerhard was planning on coming up from San Antonio to lecture yesterday for the Dallas-Fort Worth Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) group, on the subject of weird flying entities, including Mothman, the Flatwoods Monster, the spate of "Flying Humanoids" that have been reported from Mexico over the last few years, and much more.
- And, I'm pleased to say that Ken had an excellent turn-out of somewhere between 45 and 50 people. So, you may ask: what of the lecture? Well, Ken began by talking about his background, and revealed that when he was a child his mother worked as a travel-agent. As a result, she had the opportunity to travel regularly and widely - and took the young Ken along, too - to such locations as the Amazon Jungle, Australia, and Loch Ness; to name just a few cool places.
- Of course, and not surprisingly, it didn't take long before Ken was well on the road towards becoming a cryptozoologist.
- And, with that said, it was onto the subject of the lecture: unknown flying entities; some of which seem definitively cryptozoological in nature, and others that appear to straddle the fields of cryptozoology and ufology.
- The clearly-captivated audience listened attentively as Ken discussed his investigations of
- (A) giant bird-like entities in South Texas (as well as Pterosaurs reported from the same area);
- (B) Cama Zotz - a bat-deity from the Mayan culture;
- (C) huge winged monsters seen in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico; and
- (D) the Lechuza - a witch that was said to have the ability to transform itself into what resembled a giant, white owl.
- Ken also dug deep into the famous - and highly-intriguing - 1950s stories of the Houston Batman; the 1960s events at Point Pleasant, West Virginia, as chronicled in the pages of the late John Keel's The Mothman Prophecies; as well as the creepy tale of a "flying witch attack" from Mexico in 2004 - a case that you may know about; since it was all across the Net at the time of its occurrence.
- In addition, Ken referred to a thought-provoking report of a winged, Chupacabra-type entity seen in Texas a couple of years ago,
- Perhaps weirdest of all - and truly Fortean in nature - were those "flying entity" reports that involved very human-looking creatures that seemed to have mechanical wings strapped to their bodies, along with what were possibly "jet-packs" or "control-panels."
- Secret military experiments? Maybe. However, the fact that, in one such report at least, the entity had a "demonic face" seems to leave this matter open to a more-than-liberal degree of interpretation.
- Ken also dug into another interesting facet of the puzzle: the correlations between sightings of huge winged creatures and animal/cattle-mutilations. Although the data was brief, it suggested that further follow-up on such matters may prove to be eye-opening.
- And as Ken noted, as we certainly don't have all the answers yet as to what these entities may be, his research and on-site investigations are set to continue.

- Apply the principles urged on Israel to the United States, and you end up with a scenario something like this:
- The new final settlement conference between the US, Mexico, and the Aztlánistas is scheduled for late June.
- The agreement promises a new chapter in the relationship between the countries -- and new hope for Mexican refugees yearning for self-determination and a state of their own.
- For years, there have been ongoing hostilities, culminating in a rash of illegal immigration and ongoing terrorism on the border. While there are many troublesome issues, new attitudes on both sides of the conflict may mean that peace is finally at hand.
- The new status quo will probably look very much like a proposition made by New Aztlán advocates like MEChA (and prominent American academics), tempered with the peace plan promoted by Mexican President Calderon. Other Latin American countries have endorsed the plan.
- What the Aztlánistas want is final status on a state of their own with contiguous borders, New Aztlán, to consist of the American territories of California, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.
- The capital of the new regime will, of course, be traditionally Aztlánista Los Angeles.
- All non-Mexican settlements and American settlers would be evacuated outside these borders to the original pre-1836 US borders, with some modifications, perhaps, to reflect demographics.
- Part of Northern California, for instance, could be traded for land in southern Nevada, eastern Louisiana, Colorado or Utah as part of a final agreement.
- A key demand for the Mexicans and the Aztlánistas is justice for the descendants of the refugees and their descendants dating from the original American-Mexican conflict.
- They want a full right of return for these refugees and their descendants to Mexican lands still in the hands of the US.
- The plan's supporters insist upon a right to settle in the US for those Mexicans dubbed "illegal aliens" who have been victimized by what both the Mexicans and the Aztlánistas denounce as the apartheid border wall and restrictive US immigration policies.
- The proponents of the plan also demand (1) the agreement must have a deadline for implementation; (2) all checkpoints within New Aztlán, (especially on the current borders) are to be removed to allow the Aztlánistas freedom of movement; and (3) US occupation of New Aztlán must end during the interim before the final settlement agreement is implemented.
- The Aztlánistas are also demanding full sovereignty and control over historic US sites like the Grand Canyon, the Alamo, and Yosemite.
- An important part of the agreement is that all Mexican and Aztlánista prisoners currently in American custody, who the Aztlánistas consider to be freedom fighters, will be repatriated to Aztlánista territory.
- In exchange for this, the Mexicans, Latin American Nations and Aztlánistas promise to recognize the remainder of American territory as the sovereign United States.
- These parties have agreed to renounce illegal immigration, terrorism and to dismantle the drug cartels currently operating out of Mexican and Aztlánista territory.
- The problems of a final solution to this problem should not be underestimated. Right wing ultra-nationalist settlers who consider these territories part of their historic homeland, regardless of international law, populate much of the area in question. Resettling them in the United States within the pre-conflict borders will entail considerable trouble and expense for the US.
- In the territories on the North Bank (Texas) in particular, opposition to a proposed land for peace settlement is particularly widespread, not least when it comes to control of the Alamo, which many settlers consider one of the most important sites in their history.
- The Aztlánistas are insisting on total control of the Alamo as part of their State, claiming that according to their tradition, Aztlánista hero General Santa Ana tied his horse there before ascending to heaven.
- There are also questions of what kind of control the Mexican government and the Aztlánistas have over groups like the Zetas and MS13 (who are actually mostly Salvadorans), who have yet to commit to being part of any settlement and questions of the proponents' ability to prevent illegal immigration to the US.
- Obviously the International community will have to provide substantial amounts of aid to both Calderon and to the Aztlánistas as part of a package in order to bolster America's new peace partners.
- American critics of the peace negotiations have pointed out that such aid in the past has largely ended up in the hands of corrupt Aztlánista politicians.
- The money has been used in the past to fund drug cartels and terrorists organizations like the Zetas. But experts agree that continued foreign aid would undoubtedly be the necessary "price for peace" on the part of the US.
- As the Aztlánista population grows, time is running out for a comprehensive settlement. American President Obama has pointed out that the Latino "demographic bomb" will leave Americans with the option of either being a minority in their country or foregoing democracy and permanently occupying the southern territories.
- Unless the coming conference ends up with major concessions by the Americans, an intensified cycle of violence is almost guaranteed. The Aztlánistas will become more radicalized as they lose hope of reaching a comprehensive settlement.
- We may very well be on the verge of a peaceful, two-state solution in the region. A land for peace agreement is undoubtedly an important step towards that goal.
- Proponents of a two-state solution have pointed to Oslo and the Gaza disengagement by Israel. Supporters of the agreement argue that such a plan can work if it is properly implemented with the support of the international community.
- Most experts in the field contend that the two-state solution is the only hope of ending the conflict and preserving America's character as a democratic state.

- Texas State Senator, Dan Patrick, was on FoxNews this morning at 8:45am. He said he had some “breaking news to share”. Boy was it!!!
- The Texas State Legislature had been trying very hard to get the Obama Administration to respond to a critical situation on the Texas Border.
- The Administration had not gotten back with Texas as of last night. So the State of Texas told Washington D.C. basically they could go jump, and “we’ll take care of Texas!”.
- As of last night… the Texas National Guard has been put on High Alert!!!
- This is the first time in history!
- Texas tried, desperately to get Washington’s approval… but when they could not get it… they acted on their own.
- Which I say…. it’s about damn time!!!
- I personally applaud the guts it took to defy the Fed’s and act in our best interest! In case you are unaware of what the problems are …. Sen. Dan Patrick spelled it out nicely!
- 1) 100’s of PRO-DRUG CARTEL Mexicans were blocking the entrance to the United States, yesterday and today, banging cars, shouting and holding signs. 10 people were killed Wed. and 12 more yesterday at the border (5 of which were children!!!)
- 2) They aren’t sure … but they think the Drug Cartel is paying the demonstrators to do what they’re doing.
- 3) This will spill over into the States! Mr. Patrick, and the other State officials,. are convinced that road-side bombs and car bombs will make it across the border and WILL NOT allow that to happen!!
- 4) Mexico is breaking out in Civil War in the western part of the border and they expect it to spread the entire border with no end in sight.
- 5) The National Guard will be activated as the scenario worsens and is on Alert now and will remain so until (and IF) Washington does something to end the danger on the border (Yeah… like that’s gonna happen!).

- What if it has everything to do with the mysterious newly discovered Comet Lulin that could be steering tens of thousands of the Leonid space debris field into our Earth’s path causing "Meteor Fireball" reports to occur all around the globe these past few weeks?
- It was only January 2009 when "a huge fireball streaked across the southwestern skies of Sweden" prompting Gothenburg (or Göteborg) SOS and Air Rescue Service to be inundated with reports of a fireball in the sky around 8pm Saturday January 17th.
- As previously mentioned, other recent reports of these meteor fireballs raining down upon our planet have come from Central Texas, Kentucky, Canada and Italy.
- We already know from NASA that this comet is approaching the Earth for the first time ever.
- They even commented in a statement issued February 4, 2009 titled “Green Comet Approaches Earth” that:
  
  "The comet makes its closest approach to Earth (0.41 AU) on Feb. 24, 2009. Current estimates peg the maximum brightness at 4th or 5th magnitude, which means dark country skies would be required to see it. No one can say for sure, however, because this appears to be Lulin's first visit to the inner solar system and its first exposure to intense sunlight. Surprises are possible."
- Of grave concern then is not just the pieces of the Leonid space debris field that could be being "pushed" into our planet at this moment, but also that "pieces" of this new Green Comet that could be hitting us also, and which seem to be supported by various first-hand witness reports.
- It definitely possible. Comets remain nearly unknown to modern scientists, and recent warnings show even more concerns are being raised about them.
- Scientists estimate that there should be around 3,000 comets in the solar system, but only 25 have so far been identified. Wow! I mean, after all, it was just the other day that we read in Britain’s Telegraph that “unseen dark comets could pose a deadly threat to Earth." Yes, the UK's Telegraph may be at it again!
- After reading today that "metal falls from sky, crashes into NJ business" I have developed another "What If?" scenario - - although admittedly "way out there."
- What if there was no satellite collision in space last week at all? What if the story was generated to cover-up what really happened so that fear and panic doesn't overwhelm the populace?
- Why would the governments of the world do such a thing? Better yet, how would they do such a thing?
- Maybe the opening sequence from perhaps Michael Bay's most popular film can give us some clues (be advised there are some profanities in here beginning at the 5 minute mark; sorry about that, but it is Hollywood we're talking about):
- Yes, it gave me chills to. Did you notice that the size of these falling rocks is also similar to what we just saw in both the Texas news report and the "Transformers" trailer?
- I know how this might look and feel (because I had the same reaction when I beginning thinking about all of this and piecing it together), but let's not overreact just yet because it's just a theory.
- Remember, no matter what the truth is and no matter how events ultimately unfold for us down here we should rest and be fearless in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior anyway.
- Now that you've relaxed and taken a deep breath, if this eventually proves to be the case how prescient would Hollywood Director Michael Bay seem to be be? I mean, the guy is associated with (in some capacity as either Director or Producer) previous blockbusters that include "Armageddon," "Pearl Harbor," and both "Transformers" movies -
- all three stories center on a threat from space usually in the form of something falling from the skies above.
- For good measure, he even directed "The Rock," which had nothing to do with threats falling from space (it was about saving the city of San Francisco from a chemical-biological attack), but the name could be an ironic wink and a nudge from God's universe.
- The thrills don't end there, however, since Bay is the Producer of a film released back in January 2009 called "The Unborn" about a young woman who fights the spirit that is slowly taking possession of her,
- and the Producer of another film just released on February 6, 2009 in Italy called "The Horsemen" about a recently widowed detective still grieving over his wife's death who discovers a shocking connection between himself and the suspects in a serial killing spree linked to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
- How uncanny is that!?! I swear I'm not making this up! One has to admit that the coincidences are incredibly insane!
- If our government knows about the impending doom presented by the approach of Comet Lulin then it's none other than Hollywood that once again gives us a possible glimpse of what our near future might look and sound like.
- In these clips from the film "Deep Impact" (a non-Michael Bay production, but Spielberg was associated with this one so you can do the math) notice that we have a black President in a film released in 1998 about a future event (alluding to the future President Barack Obama?), and preparing us for the inevitable catastrophe as well as the aftermath of a comet strike:
- Notice some of the things that the Morgan Freeman character proposes (like Martial Law) after the unsuccessful operation involving "The Messiah":
- Here's a final "What If?" scenario. What if the government offers full disclosure and admits that "Aliens/UFOs" as the world has come to know them do, in fact, actually exist?
- What if they then told us that there were "good Aliens" as well as "bad Aliens," but that the "bad Aliens" didn't represent an immediate and present danger? What if the "bad Aliens" suddenly showed up one day and began attacking this planet and people everywhere?
- What if an individual - - perhaps one of the "good Aliens" - - came out of nowhere and saved us all (the entire planet!) from death and destruction at the hands of these "bad Aliens" who wanted to destroy us for the pure joy of it?
- Not plausible enough for you? Ok, what if this Comet Lulin did pose a threat and there was absolutely nothing we could do to stop it?
- What if at the last possible moment before the planet was about to be made extinct these "Aliens/UFOs" showed up out of nowhere - - led by one man/being in particular - - who had the ability through their superior technology to prevent the Comet from destroying the planet?
- Sounds like a pretty tasty recipe for success should Satan in the person of the Antichrist decide this is the way he will attempt to deceive the masses and rise to power because you know like I know that if this mind-boggling scenario were to play out like this, the world would not only adore him (whether a man or extraterrestrial) for saving them, but they'd swear allegiance to him, and perhaps even offer their first-born in honor of what he did for them. In other words, the world would forever be indebted to him.
- WHAT CONCLUSIONS CAN WE DRAW FROM THIS?
- Before we just casually dismiss such circumstances as pure hogwash with no basis in reality of ever happening we better stop and recognize that science fiction is quickly becoming science fact.
- Don't think advanced robots with lifelike qualities can threaten this world? Think again! Leading scientists agree that autonomous military robots will fight future wars, and now they're concerned about how the military’s killer robots will learn warrior code.
- In fact, some 40 countries are making military robots as I type this!
- Fortunately, there are some in this cutting edge field who are concerned whether they can or should create robots that are endowed with a system of ethics (because how would a machine tell a ragged soldier from a ragged civilian?).
- I guess it's only fitting then that this summer will also give us a look at the next installment of the "Terminator" franchise in "Terminator 4: Salvation" (another curious title, huh?):
- Regardless of the actual sequence of events, we know that the future Antichrist will come to power in some manner of "saving us all" since he'll be a Superman type of figure who will have all the answers to all the ills of the world that are plaguing us.
- Bottom line, there is some wacky weirdness occuring daily, and this entire saga presented in today's column is just another example of it all! My head is spinning and my mind is racing trying to process everything in an attempt to piece it all together!
- Coincidence? Finding a connection where none lies? Or a warning in advance? Stay tuned.
- Quite honestly, I'm still sorting things out and trying to determine if there's any merit to it at all (no matter how small the kernal of truth may be).
- In the meantime, I pray that you make a decision for Jesus Christ if you haven't already because these are chaotic times, and time won't wait for you to finally make up your mind. Not sure if you have or not?
- Even if this doesn't materialize (look, I sincerely hope I'm wrong! do you think I want to see fireballs/beings from space threatening our existence?) you could still die tomorrow, and any unresolved issues (like where you will spend eternity when you die) will be moot at that point.
- Do you desire a personal relationship with the One who created you and loves you no matter what? You need to know that if you haven't been saved and born again then you're not here reading this by accident.

- Given what I'm about to present, I beg anyone in a position of authority to explain to me why that is the case?
- Let me be absolutely clear. Make no mistake that I'm not trying to open more wounds or to prolong anyone's suffering here. Quite the contrary actually. Everyone is in shock and trying to deal with all of this is surely unbearable for some. Plus, this community has answered the call, and when the news first broke that there had been a catastrophe in our own backyard, several individuals and organizations (too many to name here) mobilized to offer their prayers, support, and help in any way that they could.
- Furthermore, to be fair, many local media types covering this event (like WBEN News Radio 930 AM and The Buffalo News) have done an exceptional job keeping the public informed on up-to-the-minute news related to this nightmare.
- However, despite all of those honorable efforts, the simple fact of the matter is that the families and friends of the victims (as well as the good Samaritans of Buffalo, NY) deserve the God's honest truth about what happened here
- Again, it's the kind of pursuit of the truth that crash victims Beverly Eckert and Alison Des Forges would've identified with and approved of.
- That's why I have a serious problem with the fact that no one in the media seems to want to ask the difficult questions anymore. Isn't that the job of the watchdog press? Aren't they supposed to explore any and all possibilities en route to reporting the truth?
- If so, then can someone please tell me how someone who blogs for fun and out of a sense of purpose (someone like me) can uncover things that those who get paid to do this for a living can't!?!
- It's maddening and frustrating, but at the same time simply more proof that we're in the prophesied end times and that deception rules the day while the masses seem content with buying the "official explanation" hook, line, and sinker. Let me explain.
- Look, I realize this tragedy just happened less than a week ago, and that investigators are still recovering remains and wreckage at the crash site as I write this. Even so, that shouldn't keep anyone from pointing out some inexplicable inconsistencies with the "official" story as it stands today.
- I may not be an "expert" per se, but it doesn't take a rocket science to possess common sense or to be able to discern the truth from the cold, hard facts surrounding this story that may have a connection.
- Before I offer up my own findings on the matter I should probably reiterate for first time visitors to this site that, no, I don't think that everything's a "conspiracy" per se. Despite the nature of my writings here in recent days and weeks, I don't believe for a second that there was a conspiracy by some powerful group to bring this plane down no matter who it was on that flight.
- This was a tragedy in every sense of the word, but I'm beginning to wonder if this could've been avoided.
- What I do believe is that for some strange reason reporters are ignoring a MAJOR PIECES of this puzzle as investigators say they are still trying to determine what it was that brought down this plane and killed everyone on board just a few short miles from the airport.
- The biggest piece of them all that places an enormous question mark over this entire case is the fact that the FAA issued the following advisory early on Friday 2/13 (just 1 day after the crash!):
- "FDC 9/5774 FDC...SPECIAL NOTICE...EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. AIRCRAFT ARE ADVISED THAT A POTENTIAL HAZARD MAY OCCUR DUE TO REENTRY OF SATELLITE DEBRIS INTO THE EARTHS ATMOSPHERE. FURTHER NOTAMS WILL BE ISSUED IF MORE INFORMATION BECOMES AVAILABLE. IN THE INTEREST OF FLIGHT SAFETY, IT IS CRITICAL THAT ALL PILOTS/FLIGHT CREW MEMBERS REPORT ANY OBSERVED FALLING SPACE DEBRIS TO THE APPROPRIATE ATC FACILITY TO INCLUDE POSITION, ALTITUDE, TIME, AND DIRECTION OF DEBRIS OBSERVED. FAA HEADQUARTERS, AIR TRAFFIC SYSTEMS OPERATIONS SECURITY"
- When the FAA puts out something like the above Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), there is reason to take the situation seriously.
- This debris is due to the recent collision in space between a dead Russian satellite and an Iridium communications satellite. At last count there were around 600 pieces floating around up there! The collision occurred on February 10, 2009 - - just two days before this plane crash.
- What's that? You didn't hear about this other big story from this past week? I'm not surprised. After all, we need to remember it's the "lame"-stream media we're talking about here.
- The same media that's simply a carbon copy of the other no matter which station you watch and/or listen to for your important news. Sure, they mentioned it as a matter of public record and then abandoned the story because I guess it wasn't "sexy" enough even though this event is much bigger than most people realize.
- Have a look at what you missed:
  
  "A commercial Iridium communications satellite collided with a Russian satellite or satellite fragment, on Tuesday, creating a cloud of wreckage in low-Earth orbit, according to CBS News. A source quoted in the article said U.S. Space Command is tracking about 280 pieces of debris, most of it from a non-operational Russian satellite. It appears the International Space Station is not currently threatened by the debris, but it's not yet clear whether the debris poses a risk to any other satellites in similar orbits."
- The collision last week involving an active U.S. commercial Iridium satellite and an inactive Russian Cosmos 2251 satellite in low Earth orbit has, if nothing else, raised public awareness of the growing problem of space debris.
- But how and why did this collision happen? That's a subject for an entirely separate post.
- What's important is that we have the government agency responsible for keeping the airline industry, its employees and customers, and the skies above the country safe, issuing a formal advisory that warns pilots and their crew to be on the look out and take extra caution from the debris they expected to re-enter the atmosphere and cause a threat without burning up instead.
- How is it that not a single reporter covering this story can think to ask if the two could be related or chase this lead!?! It's certainly appropriate isn't it? Again, here's the direct link to the government website that catalogs the FAA advisory I referenced. This isn't just mere speculation since men and women much smarter than me at the FAA felt it was worth issuing a formal advisory to their pilots and crews.
- Complicating matters are what could be other related reports from the state of Kentucky. In fact, the National Weather Service (NOAA) issued a Public Information Statement for Jackson, KY on Friday 2/13 (again, the day after this plane crash!) that said:
  
  "...POSSIBLE SATELLITE DEBRIS FALLING ACROSS THE REGION...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS RECEIVED CALLS THIS EVENING FROM THE PUBLIC CONCERNING POSSIBLE EXPLOSIONS AND/OR EARTHQUAKES ACROSS THE AREA. THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION HAS REPORTED TO LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT THAT THESE EVENTS ARE BEING CAUSED BY FALLING SATELLITE DEBRIS. THESE PIECES OF DEBRIS HAVE BEEN CAUSING SONIC BOOMS...RESULTING IN THE VIBRATIONS BEING FELT BY SOME RESIDENTS...AS WELL AS FLASHES OF LIGHT ACROSS THE SKY. THE CLOUD OF DEBRIS IS LIKELY THE RESULT OF THE RECENT IN ORBIT COLLISION OF TWO SATELLITES ON TUESDAY...FEBRUARY 10TH WHEN KOSMOS 2251 CRASHED INTO IRIDIUM 33."
- This article from a CBS affiliate WKYT in Kentucky titled "Loud Boom Rocks Southern Kentucky" confirms all of this too.
- Again, I'm no expert, but in regards to the NOTAM advisories, shouldn't they have simply grounded all flights temporarily? I mean, how does an aircraft dodge a piece of falling space junk?
- Most likely they would never see it coming! I know we're in a economic crisis, but if there's a threat to the safety of American travelers the public needed to know the risks.
- Besides, the threat had to be significant enough to warrant that type of policy response because the same CBS affiliate in Kentucky also ran a story titled "Space Debris Causes Alarm In Kentucky" in which they report that the debris could've covered a 500 mile area in North America! A similar report was given with eyewitness testimony in Tennessee on Friday (the day after this plane crash).
- Not enough to warrant further explanation at the request of the press covering this story?
- How about this news from Canada that:
  
  "A man-made piece of the sky almost fell on Alberta Friday morning. NORAD called the federal government warning space debris from a Russian rocket appeared to be headed for the Calgary area. And a spokesperson for the Alberta Government says they were about to activate the Emergency Response Centre to warn affected areas. But the government suddenly received word the rocket debris had changed course, falling instead into the Atlantic Ocean."
- Here we are Monday morning 2/16 and I read about similar stories in the state of Texas with the headline "Debris Falling In Texas Possibly From Satellites." Possibly? Ok, sure.
- This time there also seems to be some MAJOR DIFFERENCES in the report when compared to the others from previous days that are similar.
- For instance, the article says that the FAA issued a warning to all pilots on Saturday 2/14. Well, I guess we should be happy that they're at least admitting that an official advisory to watch for falling debris was issued. But why change the date? The evidence CLEARLY shows that it was originally made on Friday not Saturday.
- So, the obvious question (at least it's obvious to me) is why hasn't this come up in ANY OF THE MAINSTREAM NEWS ARTICLES on the story of this crash?
- It's plausible to logically assume that it could've been a piece of debris that caused this plane crash simply due to the sheer magnitude of the debris created by this unprecedented cosmic event. Scientists are already saying that many of these thousands of pieces will be in orbit for decades or even centuries to come, and that we may soon have a need to build a space garbage retrieval system for them.
- Another unsettling fact that still has yet to be explained to us adequately is that investigators are now saying that the plane DID NOT nosedive into the home as originally thought:
- "The turboprop, flying through light snow and mist, crashed belly first into the house, with the aircraft's nose pointed away from the airport. Investigators did not offer an explanation, but the orientation raised the possibility that the pilot was fighting an icy airplane. Possible explanations are that the aircraft was spinning or flipped upon impact. According to the flight data recorder, the plane's safety systems warned the pilot that the aircraft was perilously close to losing lift and plummeting from the sky. Moments before the crash, a 'stick shaker' and 'stick pusher' mechanism had activated to warn the pilot that the plane was about to lose aerodynamic lift, a condition called a stall. When the 'stick pusher' engaged, it would have pointed the nose of the plane toward the ground to try to increase lift."
- To review, the turboprop, flying through light snow and mist, CRASHED BELLY FIRST into the house. In other words, it was flying along without any problems or signs of distress and then - - almost as if someone flipped a switch - - the power went completely out (think about a car stalling) and the plane just dropped to the ground and crashed into the house belly first.
- Oh yeah, one other fact from investigators that I failed to mention is that BEFORE the plan suddenly stopped dead in its tracks and dropped from the sky hitting the house belly first is that it first did a complete one hundred and eighty degree rotation since investigators are also telling us that the aircraft's nose was pointed away from the airport.
- Ok, let me see if I understand this correctly. The "official" story as it stands today (a mere 4 days after the crash) even though the recovery, cleanup, and investigation continues is that "severe ice build-up on the airplane wings" caused the plane (during it's final approach to the airport) to rotate one hundred and eighty degrees (so that the nose was now pointed away from the airport!), and that at that precise moment the plane completely lost all power that it stalled and performed a free fall that caused it to land on the house belly first (because otherwise basic laws of physics would've dictated that if it gradually lost power the momentum would've carried it on an arc-like trajectory would it not?). I mean, man, that's some ice! Admittedly, I'm not a pilot and I don't know anyone who is so perhaps those who have insider knowledge on this subject can set me straight and confirm that ice build-up is a serious concern, and that it could conceivably cause a plane to react like this under the right conditions. Someone please tell me I'm crazy and that I have this all wrong! How can I be the only person asking these questions or thinking things through like this!?!
- Oh, but wait! There's more! The above explanation of "severe ice build-up on the airplane wings" causing it to severely rotate, pitch, and roll was first offered Saturday 2/14 in the late evening hours. By Sunday 2/15 in the afternoon, a new thread emerged:
  
  "The commuter plane that crashed near Buffalo was on autopilot when it went down in icy weather, indicating that the pilot may have violated federal safety recommendations and the airline's own policy for flying in such conditions, a federal official said Sunday. Steve Chealander, a National Transportation Safety Board member, said the company that operated the flight recommends pilots fly manually in icy conditions. Pilots are required to do so in severe ice. The preliminary investigation indicates the autopilot was still on when the plane crashed, he said. That has not been confirmed by information from the plane's flight data recorder."
- So, while the "official" story continues to change by the day - - as you'd expect in a case like this - - I still have to question why there hasn't been a single mention of these other important facts as being possibly connected to all of this. It's a logical assumption given the cold, hard facts.
- That's what disturbs me the most - - that these families may never know the truth of what took their loved ones from them so suddenly. All I want is for the truth to be heard even if investigators rule that falling debris had absolutely nothing to do with the crash. At least acknowledge the existence of the FAA NOTAM Advisory, and don't insult our intelligence or ability to handle the truth.
- Look, it's definitely possible that it really was "severe ice build-up" that caused this crash, and that it had absolutely nothing to do with the debris from space at all - - period. That's fine. How will we ever know though unless someone - - anyone - - brings it up as a serious topic for discussion?
- Deception, deception, deception! Welcome to the prophesied end times.
- At this point, it's clearly too early to know for sure what caused this crash. Investigators say it may even take a full year for them to put all the pieces together. Fine. But for the sake of decency, and in honor of the memory of those who lost their lives and what they stood for, don't leave what could be a crucial piece of the puzzle out of the investigation when it should've been the very first thing looked at and ruled out.
  
  While we wait for the truth to emerge I ask that you please say a prayer for everyone whose life has been affected by this horrible tragedy.
- ***UPDATE 2/17/09 : FAA Says Texas Fireball Was Meteor, Not A UFO : Curious headline. As if the existence of UFOs are already a known, documented fact. Shouldn't we naturally assume that it wasn't a UFO because we're told they don't exist, and yet this headline is telling us that it is one of two things, but that a UFO it wasn't. Bizarre. They seriously ruled out that it might be more of this falling debris from the satellite collission? That was quick!***

- I have been a outdoorsman all my life. A reptile hunter has always been one of my hobbies,so I can say when im out at night with my spotlight looking for snakes in the desert, along cuts, arroys, or canyons, I have to make very sure what I am looking at cause I could step on a rattler or other dangerous critter.
- A friend of mine had a deer lease up by throckmorton and wanted me and my brother enlaw to go with him to set up camp.
- This happened to me one night in 1988.
- Upon arrival, we went through the gate, picked a good spot in the clearing and removed the trailer camper from his truck. We started a fire had a few beers. after we all got our wind back, our one friend said he was going to bed, as he had to set up his feeders in the moring and scout for deer. Me and my brother inlaw decided to take the topic. maps and go explore the many ponds around to try and catch bullfrogs, or see what we could find.
- The first pond had a few but we decided to go to a bigger one down the trail abit. since we had mag lights before we left camp are friend warned us about the gamewarden seeing us using lights out on the deer lease.
- Anyhow we started to walk to the other pond following the topic maps that we had. We had gone about a quarter mile when we notice something hiding behind a tree.
- Me and my inlaw stopped. Saying what the hell is that.
- At first we thought it to be the gamewarden. We had our lights right on it, standing like a human looking around the tree at us.
- We decided to get a little closer. It didn;t move. My inlaw said whistle at it. So I did. I whistled twice, wht. wht. Upon that it steped right out in the road.
- Were talking a four foot side step. I had seen some men before but this was one strong one. I'm six ft it was seven or alittle more.
- heavy eyebrows, yellow eyes with red in them.
- The midbody was short compared to the legs, which were long, arm down to the kneecaps. covered in light hair head was gray hair.
- This was one lean machine, like a cougar is. I mean We were close enough I could see the muscles on this man.
- Anyhow it starting to walk for us. It took about two or three steps. I mean four foot steps. not in a run but in a walk. I told my inlaw Im running, he was In shock, stairing at the thing.
- I hit him and turned and said come on. He was running backwards with his light on it. I told him come on.
- We maid a quarter mile in seconds flat, knocked on our friends camper door wanting the gun, telling him this thing was right behind us. He wouldn't give it to us saying we saw a deer our cow and closed the door to the camper.
- Me and my inlaw were sleeping by the fire that night and we wanted to make sure it was gone. So I got a hoe and he got a bushwacker and we went back to the area we saw it to make sure it was gone. We saw know sight of it again, so we went back to camp.
- The next morning we did the deer thing with our friend as he laugh at us the rest of the trip. My inlaw won't even talk about it. not even to me. I know what I saw. I have seen cougar, badger, deer, and many others in the night with lights. It was human I wouldn't had shot it if I had a gun.
- It didn't want to hurt us, or it could have caught us easy. It seemed curious as we were of it.
- There was a noise like a thumping or something I can't explain, it was gone when we went back to.
