During an interview with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad recently, msnbc’s Ann Curry confronted the Iranian president with a provocative question about his spiritual beliefs.

“In your speeches, you pray for God to hasten the arrival of the hidden imam, the Muslim messiah,” stated Curry. “What is your relationship with the hidden imam, and how soon do you think before the second coming?”

Ahmadinejad’s response, delivered rather nonchalantly, was non-specific and concocted to appeal to his American audience. “Yes, that’s true,” he replied. “I prayed for the arrival of the 12th imam. … When the imam arrives, all [the world’s problems] will be resolved. And a prayer for the owner of the age is nothing but a wish for justice and brotherly love to prevail around the world.”

Unconvinced, Curry pushed further: “You’ve said that you believe that his arrival, the apocalypse, would happen in your own lifetime. What do you believe that you should do to hasten his arrival?”

“I have never said such a thing,” Ahmadinejad retorted.

That was all it took. Deflated, Curry apologized, and backed away from the issue. “Forgive me … forgive me,” she pleaded, before allowing Ahmadinejad to conclude the segment with a slick sales pitch on the virtues of the 12th imam.

Despite Curry’s capitulation, msnbc’s inquiry into Ahmadinejad’s spiritual underpinnings was refreshing, unique and extremely relevant.

If Curry had pushed the issue further, she might have shed some much-needed light on what is arguably the most underrated story in the ongoing saga with Iran: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s quest to create the apocalyptic conditions he believes will surround the return of the 12 imam.

The belief of a returning Mahdi, or 12th imam, is a defining doctrine within the most populous group of Shiites (known as Ithna Ashari, or “Twelvers”), to which Ahmadinejad belongs.

Iran’s president—who wishes for the extermination of the Jewish state and is gunning for a nuclear arsenal—is a staunch adherent to the mahdaviat, which is “belief in and efforts to prepare for the Mahdi,” according to the Encyclopaedia of Islam.

Twelvers believe the 12th imam will emerge from hiding when the world has fallen into chaos and civil strife.

Ahmadinejad has stated that the main mission of the Islamic revolution “is to pave the way for the reappearance of the 12th imam, the Mahdi.”

“To the consternation of the ayatollahs, he has even said the Mahdi has communicated with him personally” (emphasis mine throughout).

“Ahmadinejad speaks of the return of the 12th imam in many of his speeches,” warned Rick Santorum recently.

Commenting on what makes Iran’s leader a radical Twelver, Santorum noted Ahmadinejad’s consistent predictions about the return of the Mahdi, and, more ominously, Ahmadinejad’s conviction that “it is within his power to call the Mahdi back from his occultation.”

When it comes to the Mahdi’s return, Ahmadinejad is the opposite of the seemingly nonchalant believer he sold himself as during his interview with Curry.

In 2004, as mayor of Tehran, he instructed the city council to build a grand avenue to prepare for the Mahdi.

Once he became president, he allocated $17 million for a blue-tiled mosque in Jamkaran, south of the capital, that is closely associated with the mahdaviat.

Ahmadinejad’s belief in the Mahdi’s return has been a driving force behind his politics over the past four years.

“From redressing the gulf between rich and poor in Iran, to challenging the United States and Israel and enhancing Iran’s power with nuclear programs,” Scott Peterson wrote, “every issue is designed to lay the foundation for the Mahdi’s return.”

In a speech before the United Nations in September 2005, the Iranian president concluded his address to world leaders with a prayer for the Mahdi’s appearance: “O mighty Lord, I pray to you hasten the emergence of your last repository, the promised one, that perfect and pure human being, the one that will fill this world with justice and peace.”

According to Ahmadinejad, it was no ordinary prayer.

When he returned to Iran, the Iranian president boasted about it to supporters: “One of our group told me that when I started to say ‘In the name of God the almighty and merciful,’ he saw a light around me, and I was placed inside this aura. I felt it myself. I felt the atmosphere suddenly change, and for those 27 or 28 minutes, the leaders of the world did not blink. … [T]hey were rapt. It seemed as if a hand was holding them there and had opened their eyes to receive the message from the Islamic Republic.”

Peterson wrote that Ahmadinjad’s “presidential obsession with the mahdaviat yields a certitude that leaves little room for compromise.”

Is there a better way to describe the present state of Iranian foreign policy?

Ahmadinejad does not base his political decisions on what is best for his nation—he makes decisions based on his radical religious beliefs.

And these beliefs tell him that he must facilitate the return of the Mahdi by challenging America and the West and strengthening Islamic power on the world scene.

Charles Krauthammer summed it up perhaps the best. He wrote back in 2005:
So a Holocaust-denying, virulently anti-Semitic, aspiring genocidist, on the verge of acquiring nuclear weapons of the apocalypse, believes that the end is not only near but nearer than the next American presidential election. … This kind of man would have, to put it gently, less inhibition about starting Armageddon than a normal person.

Middle East expert Daniel Pipes says Ahmadinejad’s religious fervor and unbending commitment to the return of the 12th imam ranks him among the most dangerous leaders in history.

“The most dangerous leaders in modern history are those (such as Hitler) equipped with a totalitarian ideology and a mystical belief in their own mission. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad fulfills both these criteria ….”

Instead of apologizing, then backpedaling, Ann Curry, armed with all the evidence proving Ahmadinejad’s devotion to his 12th imam, ought to have prodded Ahmadinejad further on this issue. msnbc, rather than burying the snippets of its interview on its website, ought to have produced a full-length report on Ahmadinejad’s apocalyptic beliefs, and then aired it on prime-time television. Why?

Because by providing an honest glimpse into the mind of Iran’s president, it could have helped America, including those inside the Beltway, uncover a fundamental reason for the United States’ ongoing failure to deal with Iran.

It could have helped America realize that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad listens to his Mahdi, not Western leaders—not Barack Obama.

He’s telling him to shun peace, and work toward creating the apocalyptic conditions needed to usher in his return.

And what is the Mahdi supposedly telling his earthly minion?

The majority of people worldwide do not know what the
terms Black Operations and Black Sciences mean or how they are
used. -
Black Operations were developed after World War I; but,
really flourished after World War II during the Cold War. -
Congress
allocated money to the Pentagon, the CIA and other Defense
Department sectors to make the United States military as strong as
possible, but certain projects became more secret than others did. -
The more secret projects were funded by the civilian sector at
first - such as "pet peeve" defense contractors already in the
loop. -
As time went on, the "privy" developed into a real clique of not
only specially screened corporations but also choice individuals
found by federal talent hunts. -
A new sub-culture was born with a
new personality and belief system - separate from mainstream
Americans. -
Cutting-edge technology such as stealth aircraft, invisible
hovercraft, extremely low frequency mind control, weather control,
and cloning became secret sciences. -
The new knowledge was and still
is not available to the regular Army, to Congress, or to any
University. -
The most secret of the secret was in the hands of a
power-hungry few that tied itself to the World Bank for the future
funding of its projects. -
They developed "think tanks" - like
Stanford and Tavistock - to keep the masses fooled about
everything. -
They moved into everything from the Mafia to Harvard
University to International Banking. -
The deception grew like a cancer into every area of industrialized
society. -
They learned how to control
the media and, thus, they controlled the television, Hollywood,
every newspaper, every educational institution and every person's
mind - at least to a certain point. -
Accusations of abuse and inhuman acts by the C.I.A. and F.B.I. were
investigated by Congress in 1977. -
Under the guise of
"national security", there has not been an investigation of their
highly illegal activities since 1977. -
They used the excuse of "national
security" for every crime they committed. -
Your Congress, your President
and your Supreme Court are actually scared of them. -
A mountain of
evidence points to the fact that they have killed thousands,
including corporate executives and politicians - like JFK. They are
thus considered the "Invisible Government." -
The "Invisible Government" needs a name at this point, so let us
call it "The Brotherhood of the Bell." -
By the way, Bell Corporation made the
first flying saucer called "The Bell" - for the "Invisible
Government" because it was shaped like a bell. Therefore, I shall
call the "Brotherhood of the Bell", or simply, "B.O.B." -
This was a 1960's movie
about such a conspiracy. -
B.O.B. became an internationally funded and operated organization
that developed its totalitarian tactics for worldwide economic,
political and military control. -
B.O.B. led us to believe that half
of the earth was religious-capitalism defended by the CIA and the
other half of the world was atheist communism defended by the KGB.
But, in actuality the International Bankers and ancient esoteric
secret societies with an octopus of intelligence agencies
controlled the entire earth - even through World Wars I and II. -
Whenever a few cliques decided to go into business for themselves
and break away from the monopoly system, we would have a world war.
The same is true today; so do not mess with the super-bankers. -
The Cold War ended because of a worldwide cry for "peace". The old
industrialist-banker game of churning up another war for the
military-industrial complex was becoming more and more difficult. -
Their "think-tanks" had to come up with a new strategy to subdue
this "New Left" ideology. Time, also, changed technology thus the
bankers and industrialists no longer needed large populations to do
the farming, work in the factories or even fight in their
war-machine game. -
Advanced computers, robots and artificial
intelligence bio-electronics and cloning eliminated the need of all
of these useless eaters. -
Top secret meetings were held as early as
1960, developing strategies like, for example, "The Report From
Iron Mountain." -
The "New Left", with all of it's altruistic and humanitarian
concepts would be the "Trojan Horse" that would bring in the
largest "shadow of death" to fall on mankind in the written history
of the earth. -
In "Globalist" books, in their reports at the United
Nations, on their statues and art at the new Masonic airports, on
their shrines like the "Georgia Guide Stones", they all call for a
massive de-population of the earth! -
They also command eliminating
democracy and culture under the guise of a new "think tank"
invented international religion and government. -
On the other hand, certain racist New Right organizations have and
are being manipulated by the Black Ops agent provocateurs to appear
hostile to the masses through their song bird media. The truth is
that these groups are very aware of certain concepts of the New
World Order; but, they cannot see that they are being used as
"scapegoats" and "patsies" for Black Operations" sabotage. -
The
invisible government always uses some sort of chaos they create to
steer public demand for social change - such as gun control. -
Their
hoodwinking games are from the old Masonic term "Ordo Ab Chao."
They create the problem secretly but their politicians come forward
openly with a new solution - Order Out of Chaos. -
B.O.B.'s old excuse was "national security" for its cruelty to
mankind. Now it is made of a string of excuses, like: "To save the
children", or: "To save nature!" -
The truth is that "The Brotherhood
of the Bell" is destroying more nature with its' top secret
projects like the nuclear bomb, chemical and biological warfare,
and H.A.A.R.P. (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program)
than we the "useless eaters" could ever imagine doing. -
When the Berlin wall came down, the Black Operations of the East
merged with the Black Operations of the West. -
The "think tanks" now
include Soviets and Red Chinese. -
They have mixed their ideas for an
One World Order and have mixed their military Special Forces
together in a scheme to execute the "cleansing" or "killing
fields." -
What these "Brave New World" types do not know is that once again
they are being used to satisfy the greedy appetites of the super
power-elite! -
Those in the Cabal know that an inter-dimensional
society, an etheric civilization more invisible than they are
controls their minds and souls. -
They honor these Ascended Masters
or Gods with blood and sacrifice - as they always have through the
history of the Dark Nobility and Black Arts Occultism! They know
the Lord of this earth is Lucifer and that he must be appeased. -
The "Black Budget" then started to be used for the "Black Arts" and
became known as the "Black Sciences." -
The earliest projects
actually started prior to World War I while the more popular ones
started around World War II. The U.S. Army was in charge of making
the "A-bomb" in the "Manhattan Project" and the U.S. Navy was in
charge of making stealth equipment and invisibility in the
"Philadelphia Experiment." -
After the war, the scientists of both projects were joined with
Nazi scientists from Germany and NASA and the National Security
Agency were formed. -
Previous experiments, like "The Babalon
Working", and "The Montauk Project" used Nazi occultists and
scientists to communicate with and materialize inter-dimensional
beings. -
They also started working on inter-dimensional time travel
and eugenics/cloning. Thus, the Black Sciences were born. -
The Black Sciences are the most secret of all secrets and are
seriously guarded by specially screened soldiers of Black
Operations. -
It is their hope to merge the seen world with the
unseen world. -
It is their goal to make sure we have a "oneness-of
mind" and are spiritually harmonized to a frequency that will bring
this about. -
The Ascended Masters have commanded them to eliminate
the "Old World", with all of its old ideas and all of its old
people. A new generation with a "New World View" is the agenda of
the day. -
That is why many conservatives, Christians, Jews, Muslims, and
Buddhists are on the surveillance and extermination lists. -
That is
why more anti-Constitutional laws are becoming the "New Law." -
That
is why those in the know from all religions and political
ideologies are getting concerned. -
The "Black Operations" work for the "Black Sciences" who worship
"Black Occult Religions" of the "Brotherhood of the Bell." -
