- Neil Sankey, who has almost 20 years experience serving in Special Branch and
  the Bomb Squad, is now devoting his energies to proving that Mr Obama is not
  a natural born US citizen.
- He joined the Birthers after meeting Orly Taitz, one of the leaders of the
  group, which disputes Mr Obama’s claim that he was born in Hawaii.
- Over the past year, Mr Sankey has been integral in some of the most aggressive
  efforts to remove him from office by claiming that his presidency is
  illegitimate.
- He tried to block Obama's inauguration last year by contacting all 538
  electoral college representatives who formally elect the president.
- Mr Sankey has also carried out an investigation into Mr Obama's personal
  identification history which he claims shows a suspicious number of social
  security numbers
- He has refuted allegations that his attempts are racially motivated, claiming
  that he disagrees with Mr Obama’s politics and is convinced that he is not
  genuine.
- Mr Sankey, who moved to California in the 1980s to set up his own private
  detective agency, told the Guardian: “The objection is not Obama's colour
  but his politics.
- “I like him as a person, I just wish he was genuine.
- “It's quite obvious to me — America is heading towards a socialised state just
  as has happened in Europe. Socialised medicine, everyone on the dole, and
  when everything collapses you tip the scales into Marxism."
- Mr Sankey joined Hampshire Police in 1961 before being seconded as a detective
  sergeant to Scotland Yard.
- During the 1970s he tracked left wing political
  groups and the IRA.
- He became a naturalised American in 1985.
- He believes that his British police training is proving crucial to the work he
  is now pursuing for the Birthers
- He said he uses the same techniques he
  employed to analyse the IRA's associations, to trace Mr Obama’s past.
- Taitz added: “He has had superb training. I have the greatest respect for
  Scotland Yard.”
- Most recently, Mr Sankey carried out a search of databases that he claims
  produced 140 different identification numbers and addresses for "Barack
  Obama".
- He admits the findings prove nothing — there is nothing to link
  the entries to the president — but he believes it raises further doubts that
  need investigating.
- He told the Guardian that his fascination with Mr Obama’s heritage began with
  the realisation "that this man wasn't what he said he was. He wasn't an
  ordinary Democrat — he was far more extreme than that."
- During the 2008 US presidential election, rumours began to circulate on the
  internet that Barack Obama had not been born in the US, and was therefore
  not eligible for the presidency.
- Mr Obama's campaign rebutted the claims, publishing his birth certificate
  proving that he was born in Hawaii, however, conspiracy theorists have
  dismissed it as a forgery.
- Doubters believe that Mr Obama was born in Kenya and that he cannot be
  president because the US constitution states that "no person except a
  natural born citizen... shall be eligible to the office of President".
- A number of lawsuits have been filed by people who question Mr Obama's
  eligibility, including Taitz, but all of them have been dismissed at the

- "The institution of marriage is at risk of being redefined at its very essence," he said. "Justice demands that we not remain silent in face of these threats."
- However, he twice dodged a reporter's question about whether it would be a mortal sin for a politician to vote for a national health care bill that obligates taxpayers to pay for abortions.
- Several speakers said the document was moral, not political, in nature and that the bulk of it defines three core issues: life, marriage and religious liberty.

- The document does portray a gloomy picture of the current political situation, citing the "pro-abortion ideology [that] prevails today in our government."
- It adds, "The present administration is led and staffed by those who want to make abortions legal at any stage of fetal development and who want to provide abortions at taxpayer expense. Majorities in both houses [of Congress] hold pro-abortion views."
- The first 148 signatures include Southern Baptists, Anglicans, the Orthodox Church of America (OCA), members of Reformed, evangelical, Hispanic Protestant, Church of God in Christ, Antiochian Orthodox and Evangelical Free Church traditions plus the executives of numerous parachurch ministries.
- There were only a handful of Presbyterians, United Methodists and Pentecostals, and no apparent signatories from Seventh-day Adventist, Messianic Jewish and Episcopal churches.

- WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Any tax imposed on financial transactions would have to take effect internationally to keep Wall Street jobs and related business from moving overseas, U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Thursday.
- "It would have to be an international rule, not just a U.S. rule," Pelosi said at a news conference.
- "We couldn't do it alone, we'd have to do it as an international initiative."
- Several House Democrats have proposed a Wall Street tax to pay for job-creating legislation they plan to pass in December.
- The tax, which could raise $150 billion per year, would tap into widespread public outrage at Wall Street in the wake of the financial crisis.
- "There's something really out of kilter in this society," said Democratic Representative Marcy Kaptur, noting the gap between wages in her Ohio district and Wall Street bonuses.

- President Obama has dispatched a delegation this week to The Hague to explore issues involving the United States' possible participation in the International Criminal Court,
- an organization critics charge could be used to prosecute Americans under international legal standards for actions that are not crimes in the U.S.
- Andy Laney of the U.S. State Department confirmed the delegation is comprised of members of the State Department as well as the Defense Department.
- He said they were dispatched on a weeklong trip because of U.S. concerns over how "aggression" is defined internationally.
- "There is an interagency party, half from the State Department, half from the Defense Department, there to engage other delegations on matters of U.S. interest and specifically over our concerns on the definition of the crime of aggression," he said.
- Critics, however, warn that they believe former U.S. war crimes prosecutor Ambassador Stephen Rapp is on a trip that involves more than just the definition of a word.
- "The Obama administration would like the U.S. to be a party to the court," said Brett Schaefer, an international regulatory expert with the Heritage Foundation.

- The objective here is to address the major objections to the U.S. joining the court," he said.
- "The Obama administration would like to establish closer ties with the ICC if it turns out the U.S. can join the court.
- White House officials declined to comment.

- The court was introduced to the U.S. when President Bill Clinton signed the Rome Statute in 1998.
- But President George W. Bush pulled the U.S. out in 2003 over concerns that the ICC might prosecute American soldiers for war-crime charges coming from the U.S. campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan.
- The concern was that the ICC doesn't recognize many of the U.S. Constitution's provisions protecting defendants in criminal trials, such as the right to a trial by jury and protections against double jeopardy.
- "Mr. Rapp is there to find out if (the 108) member states are interested in amending the document to address U.S. concerns. Ambassador Rapp is there to learn how substantial the barriers to the U.S. joining the court actually are."

- "The meeting at The Hague is also in preparation for the Rome Statute's review in May of 2010," Schaefer said.
- Laney admitted it was a change in U.S. direction that prompted the trip.
- "The decision to send Ambassador Rapp reflects the commitment of this administration to engage the international community on issues that affect our foreign policy interests," Laney said.
- "Ambassador Rapp says he wants the U.S. to join the ICC.
- Since coming into office, President Obama says he wants the U.S. to join and Secretary of State Clinton says it's unfortunate that the U.S. is not a part of the ICC," Schaefer said.
- "The previous administration in its early years sought to amend the treaty to alleviate U.S. concerns ... the treaty would intrude on U.S. policy and its obligations overseas," Schaefer said. "That effort failed. So, the Bush Administration in 2003 sent a letter to the Secretary General of the U.N. saying it no longer considered itself bound to the jurisdiction of the ICC."
- Schaefer said the process as it now is set up presents dangers.
- "Israel took action in Gaza earlier this year to attack Hamas and knock out the Hamas rocket launchers in the Gaza Strip," he said. "Israel took enormous cautionary measures to prevent civilian casualties.
- Even though Israel and the Palestinian Authority are not signatory members of the ICC, the ICC is still investigating the Israeli military to see if they can prosecute members of the Israeli Army for war crimes."
- Mathew Staver, lead attorney for Liberty Counsel and dean of Liberty University Law School, said U.S. membership in the ICC would be a mistake.
- "This administration is globalist and transnationalist and wants to bring this country into the global system.
- The U.S. stands to have its citizens being prosecuted by the international court in The Hague and have its citizens come under the world court's jurisdiction," he said.
- Schaefer confirmed Staver's fears.
- "Supposing the U.S. engages in a military action and that action results in civilian casualties. We do an investigation of the matter and find no guilty party. If we are a member of the court, if we are a party to the Rome Statute, the ICC at that point has the opportunity to second-guess us," he said.
- "They may be able to use evidence and they may be able to pursue routes of trial that would not be portable in the U.S. because of the different standards established in the U.S. legal system and the rules set forth in the Rome Statute."
- His warning is that the ICC could, "in essence … come and prosecute U.S. citizens, U.S. soldiers, U.S. officials for actions the U.S. deems entirely lawful."

- I called the executive director of the Pre-Trib Research Center at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., Dr. Thomas Ice.
- The Pre-Trib Center is one of the preeminent evangelical institutions in this country arguing for literal Bible prophecy, and especially for pre-millenial dispensationalism, a complicated belief system that concerns the conditions that must obtain on Earth before Jesus can return ("Pre-Trib" is short for "pre-tribulation.")
- One of the more famous conditions, of course, is the ingathering of the Jewish people in Israel.
- There are hundreds of variations of Protestant prophetic belief, but the Jewish role is generally crucial; very dramatic things will happen to the Jews in these prophetic belief systems, including their conversion to Christianity and their mass death in the battle of Armageddon.
- I've been writing about these belief systems for a while, and an alarm bell went off in my head when I heard Palin talk about "days and weeks."
- It's quite one thing to say that Israel needs settlements to contain its growing population (a belief unsupported by the facts, but I'll deal with that another time), but it's something else entirely to predict that Jews in the Diaspora will imminently be flooding the Holy Land.
- I asked Dr. Ice if he thought that this statement by Palin, who has been exposed to this brand of evangelical thinking in her Alaska churches, was informed by these beliefs.
- "I've read that Palin has been part of an apparently unique movement I've heard of -- that her pastor, when she was in the Assembly of God, believed based on some personal revelation he claims to have gotten from God, that the Jews would move to Alaska during the Tribulation. But nevertheless, my understanding from what I've seen is that she holds fairly typical Protestant Zionist beliefs, and one of those beliefs is the regathering of the Jews in Israel."
- "Over forty percent of the world's Jews now live in Israel. What Sarah Palin probably believes is that this is the first regathering," when the Jews all migrate to Israel.
- Ice told me he believes this sort of thinking is supported by the facts.
- "This is a condition for the second regathering, the regathering in belief, when the Jewish nation is converted. Then there will be the battle of Armageddon, because remember, Satan wants to wipe out the Jews to prevent the Second Coming, but Jesus comes to rescue the beleaguered Jews. We believe that the Jews are going to be converted so that they can call on Jesus to rescue them from Satan."
- I asked Ice if he, like Palin, believes that in the days and weeks and months ahead, American Jews -- who make up the only sizable Jewish community still existing outside of Israel -- might move there, in order to establish the conditions necessary for the Second Coming.
- "The historical reason Jews move to Israel is persecution, so when persecution heats up in a country, then the Jews come to Israel," he said.
- "She may just have a general geopolitical belief that the world is going to be increasingly anti-Semitic."
- But what about America? I asked.
- "In case you haven't noticed, America is becoming less Christian, more secular, and it's our Puritan roots that have kept this country from being anti-Semitic.
- Look at the people who are surrounding Obama. They're very anti-Semitic.
- But now look at the secular left, it's very anti-Semitic.
- Things aren't as bad as they are in Europe, but it's getting much worse." The worse it gets for Jews in America, of course, the closer we are to the Second Coming.

- Supriem’s exile fully ends Spring 2009 where he is fully restored, even though he has been conducting business until now.

an essay, “Why Transnational Law Matters” (Penn State Law
Review, Spring 2006) in which he addressed “why transnational
law is important.”

  eroded under President Obama.]
- Adolph
  Hitler in the second part of his final “Political Testament”
  given in Berlin on April 29, 1945 at 4 AM requested that Nazi Party
  head Martin Bormann and others continue the work of the Nazis after
  Hitler’s death.
- He remarked, “Let them be conscious of the
  fact that our task, that of continuing the building of a National Socialist
  State, represents the work of the coming centuries, which places every
  single person under an obligation always to serve the common interest
  and to subordinate his own advantage to this end.”
- In the first
  part of his final “Political Testament,” Hitler had forecast,
  “From the sacrifice of our soldiers and from my own unity with
  them unto death, will in any case spring up in the history of Germany,
  the seed of a radiant renaissance of the National-Socialist [Nazi] movement
  and thus of the realization of a true community of nations.”
- While
  Reichfuehrer SS Heinrich Himmler and Hitler both pursued the cause of
  National Socialism, Himmler did not pursue a military victory as persistently
  as did Hitler.
- In fact, in the second part of Hitler’s “Political
  Testament,” he expelled Himmler from the Nazi Party because the
  latter conducted “secret negotiations with the enemy” and
  for “illegally attempting to seize power in the State.”
- Was
  Himmler’s creation of a Nazi underground that would outlast the
  Third Reich and spread throughout the world part of the Power Elite’s
  (PE’s) plan?
- This certainly seems to be the impression one gets
  when listening to the final statement in the documentary “Himmler’s
  Castle,” which is as follows:
- “In the deepest cellar of
  the west tower is Himmler’s personal safe. Not even the castle’s
  SS commandants had known of its existence. Several days after the castle
  was first entered by the Allies, an American special unit blew open
  the safe and removed the piles of documents and valuables they found
  inside. The men and the documents then disappeared from history.”
- This was at the end of the war at the same time concealed SS assets
  were being shifted by the “Schroder/Dulles network.”
- PE
  agent Allen Dulles, head of American intelligence, was on the board
  of Schroder Finance House which had offices in Hamburg, New York and
  London, and had great influence in Latin America.
- Also an agent of the
  PE, Allen Dulles’ brother, John Foster Dulles, in a speech on
  October 28, 1939 had already revealed an important part of the PE’s
  plan: “[There must be] some dilution of sovereignty, to the immediate
  disadvantage of those nations which now possess the preponderance of
  power…
- the establishment of a common money, might be vested in
  a body created by and responsible to the principle of trading and investing
  peoples.
- This would deprive our government of exclusive control over
  a national money.” Dulles was foretelling the global currency

  had come once again “in fierce and exaggerated form” with
  World War II causing nations to become more willing to sacrifice some
  of their national sovereignty to a world body of nations.
- Nazis under
  Himmler pursued a plan that would come to fruition in perhaps two generations
  (about now).
- SS officer Prince Bernhard of The Netherlands began the
  PE’s sponsored Bilderberg meetings at Oosterbeek May 29-31, 1954.
- And the Rat Lines mentioned earlier in this series took the infamous
  Nazi Dr. Josef Mengele to South America in January 1945 to continue
  his work which emphasized identical twins.
- In
  Nick Evans’ “Nazi
  angel of death Josef Mengele ‘created twin town in Brazil’”
  (London Telegraph, January 23, 2009), he refers to Jorge Camarasa’s
  new book Mengele: The Angel of Death in South America and quotes
  Camarasa as saying:
- “There is testimony that he [Mengele] attended
  women, followed their pregnancies, treated them with new types of drugs
  and preparations, that he talked of artificial insemination in human
  beings, and that he continued working with animals, proclaiming that
  he was capable of getting cows to produce male twins.”
- A farmer
  in Brazil recounted that Mengele (who called himself Rudolph Weiss)
  “said he could carry out artificial insemination of cows and humans,
  which we thought impossible as in those days (early 1960s) it was unheard
  of.”
- A former mayor of Candido Godoi (Brazil) and town doctor
  Anencia Flores da Silva recounted testimony that Mengele “attended
  women who had varicose veins and gave them a potion which he carried
  in a bottle or tablets which he brought with him,… and everyone
  remembers he used to take blood.”
- The town’s first twins
  were born in 1963, and one in five pregnancies have resulted in (mostly
  blond-haired and blue-eyed) twins there (typically there are one set
  of twins in 80 pregnancies in a country).
- The
  Nazis never did anything out of mere scientific curiosity, so ask yourself
  how the ability to create identical twins via artificial insemination
  might be used in the fulfillment of the secret Nazi plan for today!
- In Children of the Flames: Dr. Josef Mengele and the Untold Story
  of the Twins of Auschwitz (1991), authors Lucette Matalon Lagnado
  and Sheila Cohn Dekel wrote:
- “It is believed Mengele was searching
  for ways to induce multiple births, so as to repopulate the depleted
  German Army.”
- But that would take too long, wouldn’t it?
- Perhaps Mengele’s emphasis on identical twins had more to do with
  the secret Nazi plan’s provision for succession (who would succeed
  the first generation of Nazis who went underground).
- After all, SS officer
  Mengele didn’t arrive in Auschwitz until May 1943, the exact date
  the Nazi underground movement began and 6 months after SS Reichsfuerher
  Himmler privately told Nazi Party head Bormann they may have to capitulate
  militarily but never must the Nazi Party capitulate.
- While
  it’s true that Mengele was trying “to produce an ideal race
  of Aryan men and women endowed with only the finest genetic traits,
  who would rapidly multiply and rule the world,”
- according to Lagnado
  and Dekel, it’s also true that aspects of Mengele’s research
  had nothing to do with this. For example, Lagnado and Dekel wrote that
  Mengele “also attempted to change the sex of some twins….
  What was the point of these ghoulish experiments?
- No one, neither the
  child-victims nor the adult witnesses, ever really knew.”
- While
  sex changes would be largely irrelevant to developing an Aryan race,
  the change of one male and one female twin to both males or both females
  would be relevant to the matter of succession in the secret Nazi plan
  if replacing one identical twin with his brother or her sister at a
  later date was part of the plan.
- By
  20 years after the time Mengele arrived at Auschwitz, it seems that
  his technique of producing identical twins had been perfected, as earlier
  in this article I mentioned the first twins were born in Candido Godoi
  in 1963 and one in five births since then have been twins.
- If by 1963
  Mengele shared his technique with other Nazis who went underground during
  World War II, then twins born in the early 1960s under the Nazi’s
  secret plan today would be 40-50 years old.

  underground Nazis “as men of large commercial or financial interests”
  with a “controlling influence in labor unions, in the banking
  world, in Chambers of Commerce,” etc., these individuals would
  be in strategically important positions enabling them to fulfill today

  revelation does show the breadth of the Nazi plan and that it included

  relation to the economic bailout, those who cherish both religious liberty and sound
  theology should be deeply concerned.
- Under the Bush Administration, those not wanting to pollute the purity of their
  doctrine by accepting government funds were pretty much free to say "No thank
  you". However, under the Obama regime, will reluctant religious organizations be
  permitted to back out amicably? Don't be so sure.
- In regards to the bailout of the nation's floundering financial institutions, it has
  been insinuated that Wells Fargo did not want the government's handout but had its arm
  twisted by Lurch Jr, Hank Paulson into accepting the funds.
- For in the glorious opening
  days of socialism, no organization or individual can be seen as better or sounder than any
  other without at least some kind of penalty being inflicted.
- If an administration at one time as dedicated as that of George W. Bush to liberty and
  free market principles can begin to nationalize the economy on the turn of a dime, then
  how much quicker will an administration already dedicated to socialistic principles such
  as experts being able to order your life better than you jump at the opportunity to manage
  the minutest aspect of our lives.?
- For example, if financial institutions can be forced to accept bailout money whether
  they want to or not, what is to prevent this White House office from exerting pressure on
  small churches and organizations not having the resources to resist such coercion?
- And
  once these religious organizations have buckled under to the demands as in the case of
  financial institutions accepting assistance, what is to prevent snobs in the Obama
  administration from dictating what policy preferences and doctrines these institutions
  will then be permitted to enunciate?
- Those not accustomed to exercising spiritual discernment wonder with befuddlement about
  what’s the big deal with granting the government a more direct role in influencing
  doctrinal content.
- After all, activists from both sides of the spectrum hope to influence
  the values embodied by the state.
- That is correct, but that is the church or other institutions existing apart from the
  government playing their role in the political process rather than the state imposing its
  values on the other associations of private individuals.
- For when this is done in areas
  other than those delineated constitutionally in a free republic, one begins to step onto
  dangerous ground since the state is the only one of these that can use force and
  confiscate property in the process to ensure that its purposes prevail.
- For example, at the national prayer breakfast, President Obama remarked, "And
  today,...it strikes me that this is one of the rare occasions that still brings the world
  together in a moment of peace and goodwill." It is this spirit of peace and goodwill,
  one might argue, that President Obama hopes to promote and expand through the Office of
  Faith and Neighborhood partnerships.
- However, the President’s remarks are rife with contradictions as well as other
  assumptions in the background regarding his worldview that will spell the ruination of
  religious liberty if his ideas are allowed to come to fruition.
- For example, Obama insists
  in his remarks, "There is no God who condones the taking of innocent human
  life."
  
  On the surface that is correct. However, that seemingly simple utterance requires the
  discerning to dig much deeper.
- By making this statement and claiming to be a religious man, Obama has proven himself
  to either be a liar or deceived.
- For example, recounting her testimony before the Illinois
  state legislature, Jill Stanek recalled how uncaring Obama seemed regarding a baby
  surviving an abortion but who was tossed aside like the contents of a used bedpan.
- So
  either Obama must confess his complicity in the murder of the innocent, admit he really
  doesn’t give a flip about the laws of God, or that the God he serves really does
  condone the taking of innocent human life.
- As a master deceiver, one must parse and analyze every word flowing from Obama’s
  lips at the decibel level of Loud Howard from the Dilbert animated series. For while
  trying to placate somulent Americam Christians, he also extends verbal overtures to the
  nation’s terrorist enemies.
- Ladies and gentleman, you believe that as an American going
  about your daily business that you have done nothing against homicidal Muslims like those
  blowing up the World Trade Center. However, in the eyes of terrorists, as an infidel, you
  are far from innocent and thus a perfectly legitimate deliberate target.
- One will note Obama declared, "There is no God who condones taking the life of an
  innocent human being."
- Even fellow Americans of a radical inclination such as Ward Churchill (a likely Obama
  voter) likened those working at the World Trade Center unto Adolf Eichman. Obama’s
  mentor Bill Ayers primary regret was not having planted more bombs as a member of the
  Weather Underground.
- In the coming months and years ahead, don’t expect President Obama
  to call upon the Islamofascists of the world to moderate their beliefs and to embrace
  those aspects of contemporary Western civilization superior to a medieval Levantine
  mindset. Rather the obligation to alter your beliefs will be imposed upon you, dear
  Biblicist.
- In his first interview after assuming control of the federal government, Barack Obama
  did not grant an audience with a prominent American broadcaster such as Barbara Walters,
  Larry King, or Sean Hannity. Instead, he went crawling to an Arab propaganda outfit
  probably infiltrated by Al Qaeda sleeper agents.
- Yet in a move reminiscent of those duped into advocating the unilateral disarmament
  position of the nuclear freeze movement, of Americans,
- Obama expects, "I don’t
  expect divisions to disappear overnight...But I do believe that if we can talk to one
  another openly and honestly, then perhaps old rifts will start to mend and new
  partnerships will begin to emerge. In a world that grows smaller by the day, perhaps we
  can begin to crowd out the destructive forces of zealotry and make room for the healing
  power of understanding."
- To Obama, destructive zealotry does not mean car bombs, forcing women to wear bags over
  their heads, or even holding "God Hates Fags" signs outside the funerals of
  Americans having fallen in battle. In the viewpoint of tolerance and open-mindedness of
  the new President, what constitutes acceptable religious activity is actually quite
  narrow.
- For example, from the quote, Obama enunciates that he expects old rifts to mend and new
  partnerships to emerge. In other words, you are entitled to believe whatever you want so
  long as you don't believe that it is the only proper way to believe or dare share this
  perspective with anyone else.
- For example, according to Obama, in response to criticism leveled against him by James
  Dobson of Focus on the Family, it is no longer appropriate for believers to take seriously
  Biblical prohibitions against homosexuality.
- Likewise, in an American ecclesiastical
  backdrop where the Obama Administration is pulling the strings either overtly or from
  behind the scenes, will Christians any longer be permitted to believe that Christ is the
  only means of salvation or to speak out on those areas where competing belief systems fall
  short of Christianity?
- This is a valid concern because, in the mind of President Obama, the collectivist
  social democracies of the world are seen as superior to America's more individualistic
  republic. Yet in these regimes, the freedom to express one's conscience is shaky at best.
- In England,
  American talk radio personality Michael Savage was barred entrance for being critical of
  Islam even though Islamic militants are essentially granted permission to colonize the
  land of the Magna Carta, parliamentary democracy, and some of the world's most imaginative
  literature.
- For example, in Scandinavia, Pastor Akkie Green ran afoul of the thought police for
  daring to exposit those passages of Scripture critical of homosexuality.
- For example, a ministry in
  Canada lost its equivalent of our tax exempt status for daring to point out where
  Jehovah's Witnesses and other theologically aberrant groups differ from establishmentarian
  Christianity.
- Things are little better with our neighbor to the north.
- Mark Steyan and McClean's magazine faced the possibility of being dragged
  before a Human Rights Tribunal (basically a Stalinesque kangaroo court) for
  "vilifying" Islam by pointing out what terrorists have themselves publicly
  stated.
- There is just so much those holding different religious beliefs can do together before
  mutual affirmations veer across the line into outright apostasy.
- For example, one can have
  a Muslim doctor or Jewish accountant and even be friends with these individuals. However,
  one is dangerously close to making the state itself God when profound theological
  differences are set aside in favor of so-called "new partnerships" called for by
  leaders out to deceive all of mankind irrespective of belief or creed.

- Despite news reports that the security contractor formerly known as Blackwater has seen its contracts dry up and its influence wane, the company continues to do brisk business in Iraq and Afghanistan --
- and the Obama administration may be too afraid of the firm to do anything about it, says investigative reporter Jeremy Scahill.
- "You know who's guarding Hillary Clinton in Afghanistan right now? Blackwater," Scahill told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Tuesday night.
- "You know who guards members of Congress? Blackwater.
- They have half a billion dollars in contracts in Afghanistan right now.
- CIA, State Department, Defense Department. Why is President Obama keeping these guys on the payroll?
- There has never been a company in recent history that made the case that corporations are corrupt, evil organizations [better] than Blackwater."
- Scahill was on The Rachel Maddow Show discussing the New York Times' revelation that senior Blackwater executives allegedly arranged for bribes of up to $1 million for Iraqi politicians in a bid to retain its contracts and silence criticism of the company in the wake of the Nissour Square massacre in 2007, in which 17 Iraqi civilians died after Blackwater guards opened fire.
- Though the Times report stated that it's unknown if the approved bribes ever reached their targets -- Iraqi politicians -- Scahill drew a connection between the alleged bribes and the fact that, after the Nissour Sqaure massacre, the Iraqi government first decided to bar Blackwater from operating in the country, and then reversed its position.
- "You had the Iraqi government saying Blackwater was banned from that country, then suddenly doing an about face, and Blackwater remains in Iraq to this day," Scahill said.
- That sentiment was echoed by Spencer Ackerman at the Washington Independent, who also suggested a link between the alleged bribes and Blackwater's continued presence in Iraq. "Now we have some inkling of why the Iraqis allowed the firm to stay," Ackerman blogged.
- Scahill suggested that the security firm's deep and continued involvement in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars means the company could potentially embarrass any administration with the things it can reveal.
- "Another way of looking at this is Blackwater knows where a lot of bodies are buried," Scahill told Maddow.
- "These are guys who worked on the CIA assassination program, the drone bombing campaign, and regarding all of the senior officals, they know a heck of a lot about what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan, and those are not guys that you want on the other side of the fence if you're running Washington."
- Scahill dismissed as "nonsense" the idea that Blackwater continues to have contracts because its services can't be carried out by regular military forces.

- Gov. Rick Perry had some pretty strong comments about the Obama administration on Wednesday in Midland, saying,
- “This is an administration hell-bent on taking America towards a socialist country.”
- Here’s the full video, and it’s pretty important, so I suggest you watch:
- The first part of Perry’s remarks focused on what’s called the Alien Transfer and Exit Program, something that he has been talking about for more than a week.
- Perry describes it as a plan where illegal immigrants who are captured in Arizona are sent to the small Texas town of Presidio and set free.
- It’s a sign that the Obama administration is trying to punish Texas, Perry said, adding that members of the state’s congressional delegation, as well as his office, weren’t given any warning of the administration’s plans for Presidio.
- But there’s more to the program than Perry described.
- According to a story by the CBS affiliate in Odessa, the illegal immigrants are returned to Mexico via secured buses.
- The station also reported, “last year 4,500 illegals were sent back through Presidio. Now 94 will be bused across this bridge 7 days a week.”
- In addition, Brandi Grissom of the Texas Tribune reported last month that Bill Brooks, spokesman for the Border Patrol Marfa Sector, where Presidio is located, said the plan would not create any burden on the local community.
- Grissom wrote, “The plan will bring two buses per day to Texas, each with 74 undocumented immigrants. The immigrants will be checked for health problems and will have signed voluntary deportation agreements. The program will not involve immigrants charged with criminal violations, Brooks said. Mexican officials are participating and will provide the immigrants with bus tickets to their hometowns, Brooks said.”
- Advocates for the program say the point of transferring the immigrants from Arizona to Texas is to breaking the smuggling cycle that allowed them to enter in the first place, Robert Gilbert, the Tucson sector chief for the U.S. Border Patrol, wrote in a January op-ed.
- He wrote that in 2008 (during the Bush administration), more than 10,000 illegal immigrants were removed through the program (although it did not go through Texas then).

  of Pharaoh to deal with this for them -- In other words, the people turned to

  oblige.
- 2) Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses
  that he had built. In other words, Pharaoh seized control of the grain supplies,
  forcing the people to come to his officials to beg for a handout in order to
  bail them out.
- 3) So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a great tax increase,
  and gave it all to him willingly in return for grain. And this went on until
  their money ran out, and they were hungry again."

  "They who would exchange freedom for safety deserve neither freedom or
  safety." As you can now see, the Pharaoh systematically persuaded his people
  to exchange their freedom for survival.
- 4) So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their livestock -their
  cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey - to barter for grain, and
  verse 17 says that only took them through the end of that year.
  
  But the famine wasn't over, was it?
- 5) So the next year, the people came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing
  left, except their land and their own lives. “There is nothing left in
  the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before your
  eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land
  will be servants to Pharaoh.” So they surrendered their homes, their land,
  and their real estate to Pharaoh’s government, and then sold themselves
  into slavery to him, in return for grain."
- At this point, the Egyptian people were slaves to the dictatorial regime of
  the Pharaoh -- and they only had themselves to blame. Had they banded together
  as citizens to solve their grain supply problem, instead of turning to the government,
  they might have kept freedom for themselves and for their children. But, no,
  they turned to a Pharaoh to solve their problem for them, hoping he could think
  for them because they certainly cannot think for themselves.
- At this point, the preacher completes his analysis of the current situation
  as it applies to America under the leadership of President (Pharaoh) Obama.

  same thing happening today - the government today wants to “share the
  wealth “once again, to take it from us and redistribute it back to us.

  * How should I handle my 401K?
  
  * Should I sell some of my lands and other hard assets?
  
  * How can I personally survive the coming hard times?
- Not one of the Christians in the audience ever asked a spiritual question,
  like, "How can I use my knowledge of the End of the Age signs to lead a
  person to salvation through Jesus Christ?"
- Or, how can I effectively spread the Gospel within those people whom I know
  and with whom I associate?"
- Too many Christians today are feverishly rushing after the pagan god of Mammon
  and Prosperity, just as the heathen are doing. There certainly was no difference
  in the mindset of these Christians and the mindset of unbelievers.
- My Bible
  states that it is useless to depend upon gold and silver at the End of the Age!
  Doesn't yours say the same thing?
- "Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in
  the day of the LORD'S wrath..." (Zephaniah 1:18)
- These days lead directly into the Day of the Lord, the appearance
  of Antichrist and the establishment of his 7-year kingdom (The Tribulation).
- These are the End Days of God's wrath of which Jesus and the prophets warned
  long ago.
- Everyone who has put his faith in gold, silver and platinum to deliver them
  to safety rather than depending upon the Lord God and His promises are going
  to find themselves under the wrath of God. And, this includes those who profess
  Jesus Christ as Savior.
- When each of us stands before the Lord Jesus on Rewards Day (The Judgment Seat
  of Christ), can you imagine Jesus complimenting them on how well they handled
  their gold, silver, platinum, and Wall Street assets? Or, do you think Jesus
  might be more interested in our spiritual heart condition and frame of mind
  during these times?
- Don't you think Jesus will be concerned when you stand before Him about whether
  your focus was on saving precious souls? In fact, that emphasis has always been
  Jesus' priority, not physical possessions. Jesus told us:
  
  "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth
  and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay
  up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
  and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure
  is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:19-21)
- As I listened to the questions from these Christians during the Q& A session,
  it was very apparent to me that these people had laid up for themselves treasures
  on earth and were holding on to them as tightly as do unbelievers. It really
  stirred my spirit and broke my heart.
- When God brings financial abundance upon a believer, He also expects much from
  that believer as to how he spends God's money and weather that abundance had
  become the anchor of the believer during times of crisis. God wants us to make
  Him our anchor -- not our hard assets or our precious metals.
- What is the condition of your heart today?
- These events are clearing telling us that the End of the Age is near, as is
  the appearance of the Man of Sin.

  integrally needed to mobilize regional efforts. But they are not enough. All of
  Afghanistan's neighbors are needed. The US, the main supplier of troops ... is
  needed. Iran is needed. The Central Asian countries are needed.
  
  RIC is a group that was not created for Afghan affairs at all, but for other
  reasons ... Although India, Russia and China have an influence on how to
  normalize the situation in Afghanistan, our efforts are not enough. The three
  nations can and are willing to work with other major actors to develop a
  collective strategy, meaning exactly collective.
- Delhi faces
  isolation
- Not that the RIC format lacks a raison d'etre - as the pro-American elements in
  the Indian strategic community and media constantly try to establish.
- Its
  relevance is acute, as three big countries with common concerns in the Asian
  continent come together within an exclusive format to discuss shared interests
  on the core issues of regional security - terrorism, religious extremism,
  political separatism, etc - and coordinate their policies.
- Without doubt, regional cooperation has become the leitmotif of international
  politics within the new reality of a polycentric world.
- World politics is
  beginning to operate in a new coordinate system.
- Regional formats so far remain
  mostly in dialogue formats with relatively modest agendas, but all understand
  that this format sets a certain standard of equal, cooperative relations.
- Regionalization of global politics attends to various compulsions.
- A need often
  arises to find regional solutions to conflicts and crisis situations.
- Again,
  regionalization fills in where global mechanisms are either insufficient or are
  lacking.
- At other times, a safety net is simply required in case of any likely
  "de-globalization" (as in Afghanistan) so that fragmentation is arrested.
- Clearly, regional formats provide additional possibilities for the formation of
  unifying agendas.
- But, unlike Russia and China, which take to regional formats with zest, Indian
  diplomacy generally holds back.
- India's preponderant size in its region and its
  problematic relationships with China and Pakistan partly account for its
  reticence.
- But the crisis building up in the Pakistan-Afghanistan region shows
  up the inadequacies of India's "solo approach". Delhi's inability to partake of
  regional initiatives on Afghanistan virtually isolates it in the region.
- Evidently, its nationalist isolationism is reducing India to being a bystander
  when momentous regional processes are unfolding.
- There has been a systematic
  attempt by influential sections of the Indian strategic community to deride or
  downright rubbish and undermine India's involvement in regional processes -
  such as the RIC - that exclude the US or towards which Washington remains
  antithetical.
- India has the maximum to lose in the absence of a regional initiative on the
  settlement of the Afghan problem.
- Delhi holds an archaic view of the Taliban.
  While there is wide recognition in the region that the Taliban are an Afghan
  political reality, Delhi stands apart.
- The security establishment in Delhi sets
  the pace for Indian diplomacy and in its vision, the Taliban are the progeny of
  Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence and therefore India cannot countenance a
  role for the Taliban in Afghanistan's power structure.
- But then, the Afghan conflict is first and foremost a fratricidal strife, and
  an enduring solution needs to be all-inclusive.
- Besides, who are Indians to
  prescribe what is good for the Afghan people? Delhi would have gained by
  working together with like-minded countries that broadly share India's
  misgivings about the ascendancy of radical forces in the region and yet accept
  the inevitability of a broad-based pan-Afghan settlement.
- Principal among such major regional countries would be China, Russia and Iran.

- Now, these three countries are ahead of India in forging regional matrixes
  within which they advance their national interests.
- Russia and China work
  together within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
- Russia also has an
  alliance system in the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
- Iran has
  initiated its own trilateral format with Pakistan and Afghanistan.
- Obama's Chinese takeaway
- To be sure, Washington heaved a big sigh of relief that the RIC process failed
  to mature.
- The dreadful moment, from the US perspective, would be if and when
  the RIC began bearing the fruits of regional activism.
- Therefore, the RIC's
  state of health has all along been of intense curiosity to Washington. The US
  has been stalking the RIC - just as it is doing with regard to Tokyo's nascent
  idea of an East Asian community.
- As the president of the influential Japan
  Foundation, Kazuo Ogoura, wrote last week, "It is intolerable [for Washington]
  to see Asians considering their relations among each other in a form that
  excludes the US."
- Moscow will feel concerned. Lavrov candidly admitted to Russian journalists
  accompanying him, "[The George W] Bush administration sinned by a lopsided
  interpretation of collective efforts ... Obama has announced a different
  philosophy - that of collective action, which calls for joint analysis,
  decision-making and implementation rather than for all others to follow
  Washington's decisions.
- [But] so far inertia lingers at the implementers' level
  in the US, who still follow the well-trodden track ...
- This is a process which
  will take time before the president's will is translated into the language of
  practical actions by his subordinates ... a need for joint analysis is still
  evident in Afghanistan."

- The RIC's failure at Bangalore to work substantially on a regional initiative
  regarding Afghanistan ensures that the US can now press ahead with its own
  strategy of striking "grand bargains" individually with the three major
  regional powers - Russia, China and India.
- Conceivably, the "Chinese takeaway" will be a substantial outcome of US
  President Barack Obama's forthcoming visit to Beijing.
- The Pentagon press
  release on the talks in Washington between US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates
  and the visiting vice chairman of China's People's Liberation Army Central
  Military Commission, General Xu Caihou, said the two sides "agreed on the need
  to work together" on Afghanistan and Pakistan.
- Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell said, "The takeaway is that there was
  broad agreement on the importance of, and how to deal with, the situation in
  Afghanistan and Pakistan, and the need to work together to create a more stable
  and secure environment in both those places."
- Writing in the New York Times newspaper last Friday, two influential American
  voices - Mark Brzezinski, who served on the National Security Council in the
  Bill Clinton administration,

  Beijing hand - argued that Obama must carry a purposive "China List" when he
  travels Beijing.

  Three overarching "deliverables" could be
  identified that if implemented would significantly reshape the US-China
  relationship and address serious challenges the two countries face together.
- One, establish a formal mechanism among the leaders of the United States, China
  and Pakistan. China is Pakistan's most important supporter both because of
  their geographical proximity and China's perception of Pakistan as a
  counterweight to India
- The interests for the United States and China are consonant in Pakistan:
  removing extremist fundamentalist activity, stabilizing the leadership and
  encouraging economic growth ...
- The United States should make it clear it does
  not want to displace Beijing's influence in Islamabad, but a tripartite
  approach would advance shared interests
- ... The Obama trip to Beijing provides
  an opportunity to elevate the relationship to include constructive engagement
  in concentric areas of shared interest - stabilizing Pakistan, advancing soft
  power interests in Afghanistan, and cooperating on security matters and shared
  challenges in East Asia.
- The Afghan crisis is most certainly
  prompting a shift in geopolitical templates.
- What if the Chinese side has its
  own "Obama List"? Beijing will be justified in asking: How could China possibly
  cooperate in the security sphere with the US and the Western alliance in
  Afghanistan when the West maintains a 20-year-old arms embargo on China?

- It has been just over one year since the U.S. Army announced that the 3^rd Infantry Division’s 1^st Brigade Combat Team was being placed under the direct control of the US Army Northern Command (NORTHCOM),
- and was being indefinitely reassigned as an “on-call federal response force” for emergencies of all sorts, natural and man-made, including terrorist attacks, within NORTHCOM's area of responsibility — the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
- Although the assignation went mostly unheralded at the time, it marked the first time in the history of the United States that an active unit of the regular Army was placed under the immediate and exclusive command of NORTHCOM.
- The number of uniformed soldiers assigned to this duty continues to increase annually and the force is estimated to reach a strength of 20,000 by the year 2011.
- This massive force will all be trained and equipped to “subdue unruly or dangerous individuals” and “help with civil unrest and crowd control.”
- As usual, these directives are vague and could be applied to any number of scenarios.
- Furthermore, the critical question to be asked in light of such an arrangement is who will decide who is unruly or dangerous?
- Whoever is appointed the arbiter of such things will of necessity be feared as he will have 20,000 troops on alert and ready to quell these civil disturbances.
- This unconstitutional use of American military forces within the United States is back in the news as reports have recently been released reviewing the progress the team has made in training with other federal, state, and local peace officers and agencies.
- Constitutionalists will find these maneuvers worrisome as they are gross violations of the black letter and the spirit of the Posse Comitatus Act.
- Posse Comitatus (18 USC § 1385) was a law passed in 1878 in response to the abuse of citizens by federal troops occupying the states of the former Confederacy during the period known as Reconstruction.
- In exchange for their votes in favor of the presidency of Rutherford B. Hayes, Southern Senators received the support of Republican Senators for the Posse Comitatus Act requiring federal troops to withdraw from southern garrisons, thus ending Reconstruction.
- President Barack Obama marches on headlong, bent on disregarding this act and the applicable provisions of the Constitution in order to continue training the United States military to participate in purposefully undefined “emergency” situations within the borders of the United States.
- Recently he and Congress received an analysis of how well this unlawful cooperation between state and national government is progressing.
- By all accounts, NORTHCOM is withholding some critical information regarding the activities of this force. When it does release the required information, it does so slowly and clumsily.
- In its defense, NORTHCOM commanders claim that the inconsistencies, mistakes, and delays are due to the difficulty they face in coordinating these exercises with the various states.
- In typical governmental “give them an inch and they’ll take a mile” fashion, NORTHCOM is complaining that unless they are given greater and tighter control over the state agencies and the armed forces with whom they are tasked with training that they will be unable to guarantee operational success, and it may in fact detrimentally impact the team’s ability to provide the services they have been ordered to provide.
- To date, more than 19 federal agencies and 17 states have participated in one or more of the seven “homeland security” exercises that NORTHCOM has conducted since 2005.
- Unfortunately, NORTHCOM is training with numerous state and local forces.
- Not surprisingly, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) has examined NORTHCOM’s reports and agrees with the command’s assessment of the provenance of the difficulties they are encountering in the present arrangement,
- and they have accordingly suggested that states relinquish administration of their forces and agencies and cede management and command to NORTHCOM.
- There is fear among those zealous of the Constitution's prohibition of commingling of federal and state forces that Democratic governors and legislators may tamely acquiesce to President Obama's desires and thereby further debilitate the strength and sanctity of state sovereignty, the foundational principle of federalism, and the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution that protects it.
- Reassuringly, there are those raising the warning voice regarding the training and quartering of federal troops on American soil for the purpose of law enforcement and controlling potential civil unrest, especially given the wide berth extant in such vague terms in the legislation that ostensibly restricts the sphere of the army’s power.
- Some opponents of the Obama administration’s ongoing and little-publicized violation of the Posse Comitatus Act see the entire set up as a behind-the-scenes deal between President Obama and Defense Secretary Robert Gates, who curiously retained his post after his previous employer left office.
- “While Obama and his team are making it sound as if they will use the military in a non-combative roll, part of the training being conducted is in urban warfare,” warned Mike Baker, a political strategist.
- He continued, “Obama appears oblivious to Posse Comitatus and to the US Constitution when it comes to using the military against civilians within US Borders.”
- Heroically, there are local police officers who feel threatened by being placed on a short leash placed by the President in the hand of the U.S. Army.
- Former NYPD detective and U.S. Marine intelligence officer, Sid Frances has called upon the state houses and Governors to assert their constitutionally guaranteed sovereignty and outright refuse to place their state forces under the command of federal officers.
- “I cannot understand why the federal government is so intent on using such military force within our borders. It reminds me of the Branch Dividian massacre in Waco, Texas, when the feds used that deadly physical force based on false information.”
- Admonitions and fears such as these from legitimate sources with personal experience should be a clarion call to all Americans wary of their constitutional protections from government encroachment
- and weary of the daily usurpation of power by one presidential administration after another (of both parties, mind you).
- In this case the conglomeration of power is being reinforced with the magnificent might of the United States Armed Forces.

  television network has brought back the science fiction series, V,
  in a remake of the 1980's classic by the same name.
- A bit of background:
  V (or V:
  The Original Miniseries) is a two-part science fiction television
  miniseries, written and directed by Kenneth Johnson. First shown in 1983,
  it initiated the science fiction franchise concerning aliens known as
  the 'Visitors' trying to gain control of Earth.
- The
  1980's version was about as 'left-leaning' as you get, with writer-director
  Johnson actually dedicating the series to 'resistance fighters
  everywhere.' (Johnson opens showing rebels/film crew avoiding an invading
  [US?] helicopter attack in El
  Salvador.)
- In the remake pilot
  of V, which aired on November 3, 2009, the leader of the aliens
  grants an exclusive interview to a conciliating, Fox News-style reporter,
  Chad Decker, who consents to the alien leader's constriction: 'We
  can't be seen in a negative light.' in
  order to get the interview and get other exclusive announcements from
  the Visitor's leadership. (Think Fox News-Bush regime.)
- During the interview,
  interspersed with scenes from a meeting of a nascent resistance movement,
  Anna, the Visitor's leader, announces that the Visitors are going to open
  medical clinics all over the country, as a gift to humanity.
- The interviewer
  actually asks, 'Oh, do you mean like universal health care?' And
  Anna, the scourge of mankind, replies, 'Yes, I believe that is what your
  people call it.'
- The implication by the ABC producers of 'V': An
  alien lizard fascist, trying to take control of earth and who must be
  destroyed at any cost, will provide universal health care as a cover to
  control all earthlings and to take over the planet.
- There
  are numerous analogies of the Visitors to the Obama Administration, peppered
  throughout the pilot.
- Moreover,
  the alien Visitors frequently talk about the importance of *hope* and
  how change does not come easy.
- The ABC remake is comparing the Visitors -- alien terrorists, with sleeper-cells
  laden with Visitor supporters -- to the Obama Administration.
- A better
  comparison is the alien terrorists to Blackwater
  aka Xe
  aka U.S.
  Training Center.
- In
  reality, the Visitors and the mercenary firm share the same goals --stealing
  resources by any means necessary while killing as many detractors as possible.
  
  The world
  would rejoice if an actual resistance movement responded to both the fictional

- Pres. Barack Obama is not a socialist. He is a thoroughgoing statist, perhaps the worst in American history. And with Wilson, FDR, and LBJ, he's got some serious competition.
- Republicans in Congress lack the leadership to challenge the president's audacious power grabs. More important, they lack any serious philosophical basis for doing so.

- The Bush administration has released a directive called the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive. The directive released on May 9th, 2007 has gone almost unnoticed by the mainstream and alternative media.
  
  The idea of closing borders for health and security reasons is nothing new. Many countries have elected to close borders to protect their populations from viruses, security threats, and other external dangers. An example recently has been the brief closure of the Mexican border when the H1N1, or Swine Flu virus, was realized to have originated from a small Mexican town. The virus spread quicker than authorities anticipated and led the Mexican government to close their borders, especially to the United States. This tactic was not as well-received in the United States, however, because they were hesitant to the idea of border closure due to trade decimation.
