- Two more Southern Colorado ranchers say they have discovered cows mutilated under strange circumstances.
- A cow on a ranch near Walsenburg was found with its udders cut off and a calf on a ranch near Trinidad was found missing the entire center of its body as well as its ears.
- A similar mutilation was discovered March 8 on a pasture near the Purgatoire River, just west of the small town of Weston.
- That cow was found dead by rancher Mike Duran with its udders and reproductive organs surgically removed from its body.
- The most recent case happened on Jim Garren's ranch.
- Garren said the next day at around 2:30 p.m. his ranch manager was feeding the herd and noticed his cattle count was off by one. After looking around in areas where cows had grazed previously, Garren said his ranch hand spotted the animal dead under a cedar tree.
- Garren said Tuesday that he last saw his cow alive on Friday afternoon at his spread 12 miles southeast of Walsenburg in Las Animas County.
- "The only thing that we could tell about her was that her udder had been surgically removed. There were no other injuries to that cow," Garren said.
- He said the ground around the cow was never disturbed and there was no trauma to the cow's head or body.
- I just can't understand how anyone could surgically remove a part from an animal and not spill some blood," he said.
- "We searched and searched and we could not find blood on the ground or on the cow.
- Garren said that while doing a quick walk around looking for evidence on Saturday, his staff spotted the cow's newborn calf.
  
  Garren said the calf had to have been born at least 10 hours before the mother cow was killed.
- "You know I just can't explain this. I've had animals killed on my ranch by mountain lions before and coyotes, but nothing like this. It is truly strange.
- "I don't see how any human could have possibly done this without leaving footprints or some prints where the cow may have struggled. It looks like she just laid down and died," Garren said.

- Rancher Tom Miller, who runs 80 head of cattle about 14 miles east of Trinidad on U.S. 350, found one of his calves dead near a feed tub on March 17. He found it in an area where cows congregate to eat twice daily.
- Miller said that the herd appeared normal the day before in the late afternoon when the animals were being fed by the ranchers. The calf was found the next morning roughly 5 feet from a feed tub laying dead with only its spinal column, head and legs left behind.
- "It's the strangest thing I've ever seen," Miller said.
  
  Miller said the only thing holding the calve's back legs to the body was the hide.
- "I cut the hide and the legs just fell off. All the bones were broken. It was just strange," Miller said. "An animal just doesn't clean out a carcass like that in one night. It would take several days to do something like that."
- Miller said about 10 years ago he found another one of his cows mutilated. That cow had its ears, tongue, eyes and reproductive organs removed.
- In 1995, Duran said he found a cow that had been mutilated on his property in a similar way.
  
  The mutilations never have been solved.
- "I really don't know what it is. I think maybe it was a UFO. According to the circumstances, that is what it seems like," Miller said.
- Miller said it would be too difficult for a human to take a calf away from its mother cow.
  
  "The cows are too protective. If you went for a calf, the cow would be on top of you.
- "There are just too many strange things here," Miller said.
- Chuck Zukowski, an independent UFO investigator from Colorado Springs, has investigated all three cattle mutilations in the area.
- "These mutilations have the tendency of happening a few at a time. So it is not uncommon that there are three here this month," Zukowski said.
- Zukowski, who has been a UFO and cow mutilation investigator for more than 20 years, said that all three cases fit the criteria to be called an unknown phenomenon.
- "These two cows and this calf do not fit the norm of a normal death or a predator death. This is the first thing we look at," Zukowski said.
- In all three cases, Zukowski said there was no blood around the cattle where they laid.
- "If a predator got to these cattle, there would be blood around somewhere, " he said.
- Sightings of UFOs and strange, unmarked, black helicopters sometimes coincide with most cattle mutilation cases across the country.
- Zukowski said that the night Miller lost his calf, he received a report of a dark triangular craft flying over Colorado Springs.
- "A witness told me that the craft was coming from the southeast. That means it was coming from the Walsenburg/Trinidad area.
- We are in the process of trying to understand how fast this object was going to see if it could have been in that area," Zukowski said.
- "It's a big speculation and we are trying to grasp at straws, but we are trying to find anything we can to relate these occurrences."
- Zukowski said that whatever killed the cow and removed the udders on Garren's ranch was not interested in a newborn calf.
- "Would a predator attack a 1,200 pound animal for food, when a newborn calf lay helplessly 50 feet away?" Zukowski asked.
- Zukowski also is a member of the Mutual UFO Network, an international nonprofit group that investigates UFOs and other strange phenomena for the public.
- "I am the biggest skeptic to start with on these cases. I need to be sure before I start saying what I think it is.
- "I can tell you that it is very strange and doesn't seem possible by humans," Zukowski said.
- The thousands of reported cattle mutilations in the United States and around the world have spawned theories about aliens sent to Earth to slice up cows.
- The phenomena in Colorado began in the late 1960s when farmers in the San Luis Valley began reporting mutilated cattle and horses, Zukowski said.
- At the time, satanic cults were blamed.
- The circumstances surrounding cattle mutilations were different than anything the local authorities had ever investigated.
- Reports of cattle mutilations spread throughout the Midwest and even into Canada. Paranoia and speculation about the deaths ran rampant.
- "All these years later not one person has been prosecuted for this. We don't know what has killed these animals," Zukowski said.
- "Hopefully we can find out what happened, but it doesn't look too promising. This is not something we are used to," Garren said.

- Ancient priesthood's, claiming to have had direct contact with these mysterious beings during the course of their rituals in darkened caves and rock temples, shaped their cultures belief systems by sharing the words of their gods and their own interpretations of what "god's" will was for mankind. Not all information imparted to the initiated by the gods, however, was intended for the ears of uninitiated "outsiders."
- In order to protect their most sacred information and insure their control over the commoners, the earliest priesthood's, such as the Brotherhood of the Snake (the seed of multiple modern day fraternal orders such as the Freemasons, Rosicrucians, Knights Templar, Brotherhood of Luxor etc.) used the temple guards to maintain the security of their inner sanctuaries and ordered the murders of anyone intending to divulge their Secret of Secrets to the masses.
- When temple guards could not prevent a possible revelation of their secrets, the most powerful of the magician - priests would perform rituals in the depths of their temple caverns in order to call upon the "gods" themselves to intervene in the matter.
- The brotherhood of occult secrecy extends into modern times in the forms of business, political and military organizations, intelligence agencies and fraternal orders.
- Since an uncontrolled release of information regarding the reality of non-human intelligences would disrupt human society, is unofficially agreed upon by all that suppression of such proof is best for society. The "what they don't know, won't hurt them" phrase justifies the end result and maintains the predictability of human consumption and economic movement.
- Exposing the identity and reality of U.F.O. occupants may be regarded by some individuals working within various organizations and agencies as revealing the face of the "gods" with whom the highest of their order have been in communicating with for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. This, of course, would be considered the highest form of sacrilege.
- Just as ancient priesthood's had temple guards murder the over curious commoner who may have witnessed a sacred underground ritual, certain fraternal or "priestly" forces of modern society appear to be using a mysterious guard-cult to control and/or sacrifice those that intend to expose the most sacred knowledge regarding the UFO - alien phenomena.
- Today, it appears as though the most secret and mysterious guard-cult to emerge into our reality from the unseen land of the "gods" are the Men In Black.
- MIB Type Classifications:
- Analysis of data regarding descriptions of these mysterious beings indicate that there are two types of MIB intelligence operatives.
- TYPE I MIBs are intelligent, non-human covert operatives who have been appearing since the mid eighteen hundreds. They often introduce themselves as Federal officers, presenting official yet unverifiable, identification badges as proof of association with agencies such as the CIA, FBI, NSA etc.
- TYPE II MIBs are human military intelligence personnel who wear the historically classical Men In Black attire as a costume so as to discredit later reports of their own activities.
- This cross impersonation appears to be a calculated effort by both types to confuse their targets and destroy the credibility of their reported UFO sightings or alien encounters.
  
  In this report, we will be dealing primarily with reports of Type I MIB activity.
- Objectives:
- Their missions is to psychologically and physically intimidate anyone who threatens to disrupt human society by divulging the reality behind the hyper-exotic flying craft and their non-human occupants. This includes, but is not limited to, anything convincingly provable about non-human intelligences and their interactions with surface mankind.
- Type I and Type II MIB’s appear to have a shared objective.
- The two most common targets of Type I and II MIB operatives are those individuals that have recently experienced a close encounter of the first through 4th kind and certain UFO related phenomena researchers.
- Methods of Operation:
- For the most part, the MIB appear to work in teams of three. They are usually all males. (There have been reports of the MIB being female in appearance, but these cases are in the minority.)
- In many encounters with the MIB, experiencers report that while one MIB interacted with them, the other two usually wait beyond the scope of the conversation near of in their black, heavily tinted 1950's vehicle.
- Their method of intimidation appears to be threefold. When their target is alone, they enter their home, either invited or uninvited, and proceed to coerce them into silence by:
  
  1) Capitalizing on their physical appearance so as to cause psychological and emotional stress.
  
  2) Exhibiting otherwise "anomalous" mental and physical abilities, (i.e. materializing or dematerializing physical objects, using telepathy as a form of communication, remote viewing objects and activity outside their visual range, and a assortment other psychic abilities) as a demonstration of their power over their intended human target.
  
  3) Threatening to terminate either their targets personal life or the life of one or more of his family members should their target fail to comply with their "suggestions."
- Physical Descriptions:
- For the most part, the MIB have adapted the image of an undertaker or a "dead" person to utilize as a disguise of intimidation (like the man who appeared at the door in the movie "Poltergeist.")
- They wear black suits, black hats, white shirts, dark ties, black shoes and dark sunglasses (which they rarely remove and drive black cars.)
- They have been seen to either wear black leather gloves or have their hands in their pockets for most of the time.
- Experiencers have reported that their clothes look old in fashion, yet strikingly new and unworn.
- No watches, rings, reading glasses, beepers, cellular phones, etc. have been seen on their person.
- The MIB physical frame is reported as being of slight build and having long limbs.
- They range from five and a half to six and a half feet in height.
- Although their appearance would suggest that they have the ability to be quite limber and mobile, it has often been reported that the MIB walk with short, rigid steps with a detectable lean in the direction of their travel. Their physical motions appear to be momentarily preplanned and executed with extreme precision.
- The color of their skin has been described as having either being a pale white or a dark tan color with only the face exposed most of the time.
- Their black hats often cover a head that is entirely void of hair. In some cases, a dark color was seen near where the hat meets the skin, but no hair follicles were seen at all, leaving the impression that it also was part of the disguise.
- The MIB have little (false?) or no head or facial hair, including eyebrows or eyelashes.
- They have high cheekbones and strongly defined jaw lines that frame their gaunt, pale face.
  
  Of all MIB encounter statements reviewed to date, it appears as though no experiencers have ever seen facial identifiers such as scars, or moles.
- Their lips are described as either thin or completely non-existent. (In one particular case, the MIB accidentally wiped his gloved hand across his mouth revealing the fact that he was wearing a lipstick-like application so as to appear as though he had lips when, in fact, he had no lips at all!)
- The most remarkably noticeable and psychologically intimidating MIB facial features are their eyes. Type I MIB experiencers repeatedly describe their contacts as having large, almond shaped eyes that are uncomfortably dark, piercing and, at times, are seen to glow red in color. (The red color may be a reflection of light similar to that which we often see in normal flash photography.)
- Their eyes are also reported as being unusually slanted. This sharply inclined attitude of the eyes has led many experiencers to report that these bizarre and black suited characters were somewhat "Asian" in appearance.
- Methods of Transportation:
- Individuals, who have had the unfortunate opportunity to interact with these mysterious and sinister MIB characters, report that they arrive on the scene of their encounters by one of two methods. Either by automobile or by manifesting out of thin air.
- Vehicles.
  
  Numerous MIB experiencers have reported that the MIB arrived and departed in vehicles that were late model Cadillacs that were black in color and had heavily tinted windows.
- These vehicles, although appearing as a 1950's model, were unusually new and pristine in appearance, showing no signs of normal use.
  
  In most cases, people report that the MIB's vehicle's license plates were either missing or had numbers that were later found to be untraceable.
- When individuals were driven to alternate locations, they have reported that the interior of the vehicles were filled with hyper advanced electronics and made no sound at all.
- When encounters occur during the evening hours, the shiny black MIB vehicles have been seen to drive off into the dark of night without the use of headlights.
- An even more mysterious form of MIB transportation is their ability to manifest and emerge from, literally, "out of the blue."
- MIB have been reported to arrive on the scene unannounced in the experiencers home, coming forth from a bluish glow emanating from a closet or doorway to another room. (Curiously enough, this same bluish glow or beam has reportedly been seen when experiencers are transported to and from alien craft; emitting from the inside of an MIB vehicle and radiating from caves or alongside mountains where time-space ‘portals’ are thought to exist.)
- After the MIB’s have left the scene of these particular encounters, the areas formerly bathed in bluish light were inspected for indications of alternate ways of entry or exit. None were found.
- Non-Physicality:
- It has also been reported that, whether in the dust, snow, mud or rain, physical impressions left by the MIB disappear within a short period of time following the encounter. When the ground is covered with mud, footprints and tire tracks that appeared during the encounter, vanish entirely.
- It is argued by some researchers that a physical object, whether a man or vehicle, would leave tangible evidence such as a physical indentation in the mud or snow and that a non-physical image or "projection" would leave no impressions at all except for in the mind and psyche of the experiencer. This observation has lead many researchers to believe that this absence of post experiential physical evidence in MIB encounters, such as tire tracks or foot prints, indicates one of two possibilities: The Type I MIB’s and their modes of transportation are either telepathic or holographic projections emanating from a craft or underground facilities or they are living entities emerging from an altogether separate dimension or non-physical locality.
- Researchers are reminded that, just as the MIB appear to be physically tangible beings emerging from a glowing cloud of blue light, so can a great magician distort ones view of reality by creating an the illusion of making himself or an audience member disappear also. With this in mind, some researchers believe that the method of transportation that an MIB employs may, in fact, be a carefully preconceived magic "act" played upon the experiencer so as to produce emotional shock, psychological trauma and to further disrupt their ability to reason reality, leaving them questioning their own sanity.
- MIB Behavior:
- The behavior of the MIB ranges from the unusual to the absolutely absurd. Some people have even commented that they appeared to be like fish out of water.
- They do not display any emotions and their demeanor is always formal, sinister and neutral, even when confronted with violent reactions to their presence.
- They watch their targets closely, mirror their body language and the way they interact with their environment. If the target behaves in an unusual manner, the MIB, apparently unaware of how to act in the human environment, mimics the odd behavior in an effort to look natural.
- In some cases, the MIB were reported to have been fascinated by ordinary household objects, such as ashtrays, pens, etc. and have been seen to inspect them with utmost curiosity.
- They speak slowly and their use of the English language is impeccable. In some instances, a slight foreign accent is noticed.
- They appear to walk rigidly and are quickly exhausted by the slightest physical activity. In a few cases, they have been heard and seen having difficulty breathing. This difficulty in breathing has been described as a heavy and stressed draw of breath followed by a pressed exhale.
- Effects of Contact:
- Individuals who have claimed contact with Type I MIB’s report experiencing psychological and/or physical disorders following their encounter. These effects range in intensity depending on the mental and physical state of the experiencer prior to the event.
- PHYSICAL
  
  A
  ailments include: vomiting, nausea, headaches and short term memory loss. In some cases, individuals have reported being plagued by strong and unpleasant odors following their MIB contact. This odor tends to intensify many of the experiencers symptoms.
- Since many UFO phenomena researchers have reported that anti-gravitational craft appear to disturb the magnetic field local to the area of flight, these physical ailments may indicate the experiencers exposure to extremely strong electromagnetic fields. (Many UFO researchers to use tri-field magnetometers as an important tool during the course of their field investigations.) It has also been reported that these same physical symptoms are experienced by individuals that are thought to have been the targets of suspected mind control abuse administered by use of extreme low frequency (ELF) transmissions.
- Female experiencers report having irregularities in their menstrual cycle, immediately following the Type I MIB encounter. Although in many cases this irregularity is later discovered to be caused by extreme psychological stress, some female experiencers to believe that they may have been abducted and impregnated after their contact with the MIB.
- PSYCHOLOGICAL
  
  Initial emotional responses to an MIB contact are similar to those of a person having recently lost a relative or friend to death. One is immediately consumed by feelings of shock, denial, anger, depression. After passing through these initial responses, the experiencer finally resigns him or herself to their newly formed perceptions of reality.
- The sustained psychological effects of MIB encounters are likened to the post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) experienced by veterans of war.
- MIB experiencers report a variety of psychological problems which include symptoms such as: depression, anxiety, violent or explosive episodes, panic attacks, loss of energy and physical endurance, insomnia, nightmares, loss of appetite, cognitive distortions including memory loss and dissociation. Impaired decision-making ability and their increased perception of total loss of control of ones life manifests itself in the experiencers inability to re-engage in their personal and professional life.
- The duration of these psychological effects depends on the experiencers mental and emotional constitution.
- (Note: Many of these same physical and psychological reactions are said to be shared by people reporting contact with entities perceived as having reptilian characteristics such as Satan.)
- The MIB - Reptilian Inner-Earth Connection:
- The strange physical appearance and odd behavior of the classical MIB portrays an image of something that is both unfamiliar and uncomfortable in our natural environment.
- This has lead many researchers and experiencers to the believe that the Type I MIB’s are either non-physical entities impersonating human beings and who’s origin is that of another dimension or biological life forms originating from an environment and culture foreign to that of Earth’s surface.
- As no physical evidence can be obtained on the scene of a MIB encounter, the question as to the actual MIB origin may remain unresolved for as long as the veil of secrecy enshrouding the UFO phenomena exists.
- It is in this researcher’s opinion, however, that one fact regarding the MIB phenomena is absolutely certain. The majority of alien beings that have been encountered throughout the history of the UFO phenomena and the MIB share one particular clue as to their identity.
- They almost all have superficial anatomical features that are reminiscent of those of a reptile. This fact brings us to the MIB-reptilian alien connection.

- With the exception of the Insectoid or Praying Mantis and human-like aliens, the majority of nonhuman beings that have been encountered through out the entire history of UFO phenomena, have displayed reptilian characteristics in their superficial anatomy.
- Whether it is the saurian-humanoid statuettes of ancient Sumeria, thought to be representations of the pre-flood "god" beings that ruled the Fertile Crescent area of Middle East, or the lizard-like, slant-eyed aliens of the Roswell New Mexico’s 1947 crash, the reptilian image permeates all facets of the alien phenomena, including cases regarding the Men In Black.
- In the majority of Type I MIB contacts, the descriptions of their facial features, such as large slit-like and slanted eyes, complete lack of facial hair, strong jaw lines and lipless mouths, are strongly reminiscent of the superficial anatomy of a reptile.
- Many agree with that the facial features have a slight resemblance to those of a reptile, but point out that they don’t possess the same physical form as a human.
- When this point is argued, the work of North Carolina state museum paleontologist, Dale Russell, can be brought forward to illustrate the possible anatomical connections linking the humanoid and reptilian/saurian forms.
- While contracted by NASA to create a hypothetical model of an extraterrestrial life form, Dr. Dale Russell fed data regarding the Troodon dinosaur’s physical characteristics through a computer and generated a highly evolved saurian being strongly resembling a humanoid-reptilian.
- This "thought experiment", as Dr. Russell puts it, clearly demonstrates the fact that the dinosaurs were on an evolutionary path that would have eventually led them to achieving a humanoid structural form if it had survived the Chixulub (Yucatan) asteroid impact that occurred during the Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary period 65 million years ago.
- Dr. Russell’s reptilian humanoid model provides evidence linking the reptilian and humanoid physical form.
- Most intriguingly, it connects this image with the federal governments research into extraterrestrial life forms.
- A highly publicized alien contact case that echoes a familiar, albeit more revealing, MIB description is that of South Carolina’s "Lizardman."
- On July 20, 1988, several residents of Bishopville, South Carolina, reported being terrorized by "a seven foot tall Lizard-man-like creature that had no hair, eyebrows or lips, three fingers on each hand and large slanted eyes that glowed red in color."
- A total of five sightings of the "Lizardman." were reported. [LA Times & Herald Examiner newspapers, 7-21-1988.]
- Although this reptilian-humanoid creature acted in a very primitively aggressive manner and wasn't’t wearing a black suite, shades and driving a shiny new Cadillac, cases such as this may be evidence of an accidental contact with beings that are intelligent reptile-like humanoids who are untrained in human-reptilian interaction.
- Preplanned contacts with the human species may include the use of intricate disguises and education in human culture, so as to remain somewhat anonymous in their somewhat foreign environment.
- Conslusion:

- According to AP news reports there is a mysterious predator mauling dogs in Brunswick County North Carolina.
- The latest attack was on a pit bull and her two puppies. Area residents are afraid that this is the same unknown animal that killed three dogs in September.
- The pit bull, named Rosie, survived the violent attack but the two missing puppies were found dead. When Rosie was examined by a veterinarian it was discovered that there were tiny holes in the dog but no bullets were found in the wounds.
- The veterinarian could not decide who or what created the dog’s wounds.
- So far no one has seen whatever is responsible for these vicious attacks and the residence are now calling it the Beast of Bolivia.
- Experts believe the predator could be a bear, panther, cougar, bobcat or a wolf. Animal investigators examined the animal’s tracks and droppings but could not reach a conclusion on the animal.
- It has been suggested that perhaps animals escaped from the local zoo, which did exhibit exotic lions and tigers before it closed more than fifteen months ago and those animals were moved to other locations.
- The Brunswick County Animal Services Director Richard Cooper said, “The investigation is at a standstill until we get a confirmed sighting. When we have something solid to go on that’s substantiated, we’ll ask the Wildlife Resources Commission to get involved.”

  The History Channel’s monster search series links the creature, whatever it is, with a similar series of dead pets and livestock about fifty years ago. They interviewed a man who claims to have heard it’s vocalizations, set up some speakers some distance away from his house, and played a series of animals, local and exotic, for him. The creature sound he identified as sounding the most like what he’d heard before was a tiger.
  
  It kinda suports the zoo theory. But what about the attacks of the same nature that occured fifty years ago?

  I grew up just a short few miles from Bolivia, NC in a small area called Winnabow. That whole area is surrounded by swamps, marshes and forest type areas. One would think if an escaped predator had made the attacks 1) there would be more than just tiny “holes in the dog but no bullets were found in the wounds.” 2) If a predatory animal did do it one might also draw the conclusion that there would be no physical evidence other than a serious blood trail or puddle to be found. While these are plausible explanations I doubt seriously they are the culprits. Stranger things have been seen and heard in that area for many years by many people, most of whom in my opinion have resisted coming forth for fear of being

- The unusual ‘Halo Cloud’ or UFO seen above Moscow has created a real buzz. In a scramble to discount any paranormal or extraterrestrial explanation for the event it has been labelled a freak cloud or weather pattern.
- I have received over a hundred emails from readers asking questions regarding the event and many of this publication’s readers work in various meteorological departments.
- Some have insisted that this cannot be a cloud or an optical illusion. The fact is that mankind has been looking to skies for millennia and patterns this unusual and this clear are rarely seen.
- While I do not think the object is UFO itself, I do suspect it is a UFO related event.
- Scientists working for secret government departments studying UFOs or UAP’s, as they like to call them, have already acknowledged the existence of UFO vortex or star gate exits that appear over Earth from time to time.

- Cupboards and drawers in Crystal Oswald's house shake. Vibrations wake Donna Wiersgalla's 3-year-old daughter three or four times a night. A few doors down, Bailey Conklin, 13, removed rattling pictures from her bedroom wall.
- That's life these days on 1st Avenue N. in Newport, where a phenomenon that nobody can explain troubles residents enough that they're seeking help from city officials and comparing notes in one another's kitchens.
- At least eight households have reported intermittent and random shaking, and thus far public officials have been unable to find a cause.
- "It wouldn't be so bad if someone could give me some answers," said Oswald, whose roommate has threatened to move out because of the shaking.
- "It's becoming a big pain, especially at night. It feels like there's a helicopter going over your house and I open the door and there's nothing."
- The affected residents live next to a park in the northwest corner of Newport, a Washington County city of about 3,700 near the Mississippi River.
- Industries and highways surround the neighborhood, but it's unclear whether any of them -- including the nearby Wakota Bridge on Interstate 494 -- have anything to do with the mysterious vibrations that are beginning to feel like a slow form of torture to residents.
- "I've never felt this before," said Wiersgalla, who has lived in the same house all of her 37 years. "I think we all thought it was kind of crazy, so we didn't say anything for a while."

  Neighbors discount freight trains as the culprits, even though they rumble past the neighborhood more than 100 times a day, as they've done for years.

- There is not suppose to be a wild elk [or wapiti (Cervus canadensis)] population in the state of Ohio*.
- Of course, don’t tell that to the person that hit one the other day. After that one was killed, a local resident saw another one. But officials are not willing to confirm elk #2. Yet.
- An elk struck and killed by a car near Lisbon, Ohio, on Thursday night, October 8th, is leaving wildlife officials scratching their heads.
- District Wildlife Officer Scott Angelo said the Ohio Department of Agriculture in Reynoldsburg is testing the body of the small bull elk, which was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday night on state Route 45 south of the village, for Chronic Wasting Disease.
- “All we’re doing is just taking precautions. We want to make sure that we’re actively monitoring it,” he explained.
- He noted Ohio does not have a wild elk population, meaning the elk either escaped from an enclosure prior to being hit or it wandered in from a neighboring state, such as Pennsylvania, which has an active elk population.
- Ohio has not had a wild elk population for more than 100 years.
- The department believes the elk was raised domestically and local department leaders are hoping the owner claims it to help them in their investigation.
- “This is something that happens very, very rarely,” he said of an elk sighting in the county.
- The elk struck was about 250 pounds, only a little larger than a large whitetail deer, Angelo noted. Adult bull elk tend to weigh between 600 and 700 pounds.
- A Lisbon resident who lives in the area of state Routes 11 and 154 had reported seeing an elk in his yard prior to the accident. He called the department Friday, October 9th, to report having seen another elk in the yard.
- Considering that a vehicle hit an elk not far from the resident’s home the same evening as the call, Angelo believes the resident is able to successfully identify an elk, but the department is not yet confirming the sighting.
- The second sighting occurred after the vehicle struck the elk, meaning if both sighting were correct, at least two elk have been loose in the area.
- “We’re treating it as a reliable source, but we’re not confirming it yet,” the official stated.
- He did not have the source’s name available Friday evening, October 9th.
- It is legal to raise elk in Ohio and owners do not need a permit to keep them, only to transport them across the state border.
- However, Angelo noted owners of elk must take measures to keep them in their enclosures, are not permitted to release them into the wild and are required to contact the Ohio Department of Natural Resources within 24 hours of an elk escape, according to The Review of East Liverpool, Ohio.
- *The Rocky Mountain elk subspecies has been reintroduced by hunter-conservation organizations in the Appalachian region of the eastern U.S., where the now extinct Eastern elk once lived. After elk were reintroduced in the states of Kentucky, North Carolina and Tennessee, they migrated into the neighboring states of Virginia and West Virginia, and have established permanent populations there. Elk have also been reintroduced to a number of other states, including Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. But none are specifically known for Ohio. There is, reportedly, a cryptid population in New Zealand.

- The following account was referred to me by the Munroe Falls Paranormal Society. None of the report has been edited...Lon
- MFPS was contacted by a person who had an extremely odd sighting of an entity here in Stow, OH an adjacent community of my hometown.
- Witness' wife contacted me with story and after several days of negotiation, witness agreed to meet with me, recreate the events and answer questions.
- Witness extremely hesitant, but wife persuaded him to give story.
- Night of 9/14/09 witness, who wishes to remain anonymous, but name and other vitals on record, was driving to work, 10:15pm, Northbound on Hudson Drive.
- As witness drove under the RT8 overpass bridge, just north of the Hudson Drive Applebee’s Restaurant, he sighted a 9-10′ tall solid black entity standing on the southbound side of the road. No discernible head or facial features noticed. Duration approx. 5-10secs. Distance approx 15-20′ from his vehicle.
- Witness had the feeling the entity was watching him and was “there” for him only.
- No other vehicles/persons present during sighting. Immediately after turning his head back to the road, he looked in rearview mirror, entity no longer visible.
- Did not see entity depart or disappear.
- Witness became extremely upset and scared. Felt that he paled, and his eyes began to water uncontrollably.
- First thought was to turn around and go home, calling off of work. He tried to call his wife at home, but cell phone would not work, either from the programmed address book, or manual input calling. Kept getting “call failed”, which has never happened before.
- Cell phone continued to be affected all the way to the I-271 entrance ramp, approx. 8-10 miles up the road.
- Witness did make it to his job, but has since regretted not turning around and going home, due to his state of mind. The experience was traumatic in every sense of that word. It was a “bad” night for him at work.
- Weather was clear, starry. No other known witnesses, no animal sightings. Other than the uncontrollable watering of the eyes, no other physiological or physical effects on his person.
- Other than the cell phone not working, no other effects noticed on inanimate objects, such as streetlights, car, or timepiece (watch).
- There was no religious interpretation, no known memory lapse, no dreaming related to sighting as of this report.
- Witness did report close encounter with UAO as a ten year old when he lived in Akron, other than that, no overt paranormal experiences were reported during his normal daily life.
- Witness tried to box his sighting into something prosaic. Closest he could come was an electric company canvas transformer covering, but on reflection, he’s certain that that was not what he observed.
- Entity too tall, too big for that.
- Witness stated that immediately after the sighting he became more and more agitated and scared the further he drove along. Distinct feeling that the entity was waiting for him and possibly following him, but he did not see it again, that night.
- No disturbances at witness place of residence.
- The following day on his way home, as he neared the RT8 overpass, this time driving over the bridge he went under the day before, as he approached the bridge area, his eyes began to water uncontrollably once again, as he drove over the bridge and his eyes continued to water, until he passed beyond the bridge, then his eyes began to clear up.
- Witness provided me a pencil drawing of what he observed.
- When I first saw the drawing I was incredulous. The drawing bears an uncanny resemblance to the original drawing submitted by the original MOTHMAN witness of Point Pleasant WV, 1966.
- Witness willing to keep me informed of any further sightings or activity. I believe I have gained his trust, as I mentioned he wasn’t really interested in coming forth with this.
- My intuitive reaction is that witness is extremely believable and honest in his testimony. No outrageous embellishments to either his story, which I made him relate twice, nor to his drawing, which was really rather simple in nature.
- So in the end, no answers at this point, but the eerie drawing he provided and it’s uncanny resemblance to the MOTHMAN legacy are very much intriguing.
- I will continue to correspond and follow up with witness periodically and will be anxiously awaiting to see if any other sightings are reported in this vicinity that might validate this entity’s appearance.

- This week perhaps has been the most fruitful, yet. In addition to further tales of close encounters as well as creative conjecture as to its place in the animal kingdom (marsupial hybrid, anyone?)
- the ante has been upped, with speculation that it could live at a local retirement home and that it's following the train tracks from the city into the suburbs.
- One reader described an encounter with the mystery creature in a poem (and a darned good one to our humble estimation).
- And we've even been informed by another that we validated her in the face of ridicule from her husband and others who doubted her discovery until they saw Nosalik's photo in these esteemed pages.

- It needs to be mentioned that another loose end about all of this H1N1/swine flu business exists:
- Yes, it is strange that sightings of a Mothman-type creature appeared in the rural areas of Mexico in March 2009 and before.
- I’m not saying it was a Banshee-like precursor to the flu outbreak, as in The Mothman Prophecies. All I am saying is that it is to be noted.
- The Mexican State of Chihuahua was terrorized by the above ‘Man-Bat’ over the winter of 2009.
- Okay, over the weekend, I did publish the following image:
- At Bellas Artes in San Miguel de Allende, just a block from the Jardin in the Centro, in Mexico, one may observe the many murals and galleries that line the arched walls.
- One of the murals (above) is identified by the original source as the “Chupacabras mural.”
- I noted the panic painted as occurring among the people when they saw this creature.
- A frequent correspondent to Cryptomundo, Miguel (RPJ) who lives in Mexico City, was stirred to dig more deeply into the background of this image. (Investigations on such things are a process, and here is a peek inside an exchange about how this unfolds.)

  I think Endroren has something there. Some of those can get quite large, at least in the wingspan. The main population of the Hispanic realm(s) are quite superstitious, therefore something like a flying fox would terrify them. Specially living in the area(s) of the true vampire bats. Something the size of a healthy flying fox would make me wonder if it wasn’t a Dracula type vampire

On September 23, 2008 SIU team members Tom Ferrario and Ted Phillips began a week long research trip to the Marley Woods.

The primary goals of the trip were as follows:

Goals

1. To set up the SIU research office in the observatory building.

2. Position four CCD units to monitor the Site 1 area.

3. To establish a high-speed internet connection to allow remote access to the CCD video units via the website.

4. Investigate recent activity in the Marley area.

5. Investigate and obtain physical samples from three recent sites and any additional sites with physical evidence.

6. Contact new witnesses.

7. Image any real time activity.

Progress

1. The research office was established and made ready for use

The observation tower and shelter built by property owner for the SIU

3. Delayed - because of the extremely remote location, normal internet connections are unavailable. We did locate a high-speed dish connection, but the cost is outside our current funding capabilities. As soon as the funding is available the connection will be completed.

4. New reports:

2.1 miles west of Site 3 - three witnesses observed multiple large ambers to the northeast in the direction of Sites 1 and 2. The ambers were at a low altitude and were seen for an extended period of time.

400 feet east of Site 3 cabin - one large and extremely bright amber seen by two witnesses. Site 3 owner and a neighbor new witness #218) observed a single amber which was stationary above nearby trees for several minutes. The neighbor walked some distance to his vehicle, located a camera, walked back and took 5 photographs of the object which later disappeared. No sound was heard during the extended observation. We are currently attempting to obtain copies of the images.

1.2 miles south of Site 3 - Two witnesses (new witnesses # 219 & 220) working in a dairy barn stepped outside just before midnight and observed multiple large amber objects and white objects to the east. The ambers were stationary, the white objects were moving horizontally and vertically. After an extended period of time they disappeared in no apparent pattern. There was no sound.

9/25/08, Site 3 - Tom and I were invited by the property owner to discuss our research at Marley with he and a group of friends. Two events took place that evening:

7:25 p.m. - New witness #221 sitting in front of Site 3 cabin observed 5 small light balls moving horizontally above trees east of the cabin. There was no sound, they were seen briefly before disappearing behind trees.

9:40 p.m. - Tom and I were driving away from Site 3 in a southerly direction on a narrow gravel lane with heavy tree growth on each side. At a point 3,000 feet south of the Site 3 cabin the interior of Tom’s vehicle was illuminated by a blue-white light.

He observed a bright but soft blue-white glow at road level 30 feet behind us. At the same time I saw the same display in the side mirror. It illuminated the area behind us and instantly went out.

We both agreed the light source was at road level just below the crest of the slight hill 30 feet in back of the vehicle. The lane behind us is a dead end at the Site 3 ranch.

460 feet behind our location a lane extending to the east ending at a farm, we both looked down that lane as we passed it and there were no vehicles on the lane and no activity at the house.

The next day we checked with the group that had been at the Site 3 cabin and no one had left that location behind us. In other words, it was not possible that we had seen the lights of another vehicle.

9/27/08 - We were expected at one of the Marley Woods ranches to take samples from events there and the property owner and a friend were waiting for us to arrive. They were standing behind the cabin and distinctly heard what sounded like a diesel engine approaching the cabin coming up the drive. The sound became louder and stopped in front of the cabin. The two men walked around the cabin expecting to see our vehicle, nothing was there.

5. Recently we were made aware of a number of disturbing events taking place on one of the ranches in the Marley area.

One of these involving a prize horse which had been so badly frightened by something it ran into a wooden building.

The owner couldn’t find the animal and during his search for it noticed the doors of the building were heavily damaged.

When he entered the structure he found the interior totally destroyed. He found blood and pieces of the horse on the floor and all around the walls.

On 9/27/08 the SIU team went to the building with the property owner and obtained samples from the walls for possible DNA analysis. The remains of the event were photographed by SIU Photographer Ron Johnson and video was taken inside and out.

On the same ranch the owner recently found a buck deer with the head cleanly removed. No blood was found on or around the deer.

Two days later another deer was found at a nearby ranch with no apparent cause of death visible. The belly had a neatly cut hole, no blood seen.

Less than a week after the two deer were found a rancher saw two very large white dog-like animals in his field.

He fired his rifle at one of the “dogs” and “made it red” thinking it was blood from a wound. However, the animal did not react to the sound of the gun or to being hit.

He estimated their weight at more than 200 lbs.

The two animals slowly walked on without any reaction. No blood was found.

Two days later a neighbor reported seeing the two large animals and they both seemed to be in excellent condition. Walking normally with no visible blood or wound.

Shortly afterward the owner of a ranch less than a mile away found clumps of long, thick white hair/fur in barbed wire fences. At the first area the hair was found on two fences 16 feet apart. The second location was 1,400 feet north of the first.

We photographed and then removed the hair from the three locations for DNA analysis. There have been no visual sightings of the large white animals on this second ranch to this date.

The property owner is becoming quite concerned and kept repeating: Why me? Why my farm! Why does the really bad stuff happen on my farm? I just want it all to stop, help me find out what’s going on so we can stop it all before this stuff hurts someone. I’m afraid of where this is all going.

6. We did find and interview the new witnesses noted above and were told of another sighting in Florida in which a couple saw a large red sphere land on a road in front of their car. The engine and lights failed until the object ascended.

7. No unusual activity was imaged during the time at Marley.

It stood beside a rocky slope, and was perhaps 7 feet high by 5 feet in width. Its columns measured approximately 15 inches in diameter and were made of andesite.

(Before continuing, I'd like to set forth a theory told to us by a party well-versed in the field of the strange and paranormal:

Perhaps an enormous deposit of geodes beneath the surface might be effecting time in some mysterious manner. When all the natural elements --the vibration of the crystals, the electricity in the atmosphere and the magnetic fields in the earth--come together at the precise moment, laws of nature are turned topsy-turvy, and things occur beyond our understanding.

It could be like dropping a stone into a pool of calm water--the archway being the stone and the waves expanding outward could be the natural forces. These might reach anywhere from several yards to a mile. Depending upon the activation, everything within this radiating circle could be thrown into a different period of time. When it fades, things return to normal.)

Ghostly Padre

This story was told by a reliable rancher and also took place within the shadows of the puzzling archway. It involves the appearance of a Spanish padre long since dead: a ghost--or perhaps not.

Several hundred years earlier, a Jesuit priest, whose name has long since been forgotten, built a small mission east of Arivaca.

The residents gave their most treasured possessions to him for safe-keeping, as they feared robbery. These were hidden somewhere near the church grounds.

One morning, a Mexican woodchopper found the elderly padre dead. After he was put to rest, the villagers suddenly realized he was the only one who knew the location of their valuables. They searched, but nothing was ever found.

Over the years, many cowboys and others have reported seeing a dark-robed figure walking near the site of the old mission, which has long since crumbled back into the dry earth.

The description given resembles that of a Spanish padre. One rancher told us quite frankly, "Nobody will ever convince me otherwise. I know what I saw that afternoon. The figure wasn't any ghost. It walked across a wash disturbing the gravel and casting a long shadow."

The figure slowly became transparent, shimmered several times then vanished.

Again, was the witness caught in another trick of time produced by the site?

Or was he himself back in the 18th century, watching the padre going about his daily rounds? Too bad our rancher didn't see the mission. That would be hard evidence he wasn't in his own time.

Spanish Soldiers

Another mind-boggling story involves two cowboys out searching for a sick bull. Both separated and rode off in different directions. One rider paused atop a hill searching the country below with his binoculars.

Suddenly, he felt a stone bounce off his hat. Turning, he expected to find his companion had tossed it jokingly, but nobody was there. Another stone hit his arm, but once again nothing was seen.

While scanning the terrain again, he spotted his friend several hundred yards below. In the distance, he saw the bull. Waving, he shouted to his partner signaling to him which direction to go.

While descending the hill, he spotted a group of six riders traveling eastward. They rode in single file and were about half a mile off.

Stopping, he looked through his field glasses--and was amazed at what he saw. His description of the horsemen resembled pictures he had seen of Spanish soldiers with tunics, lances and helmets. He followed their movements until the scene "shimmered" and faded.

Once again, this occurred near the archway's realm. A column of soldiers traveling east? The only fort in that direction was the presidio located at Tubac during the Spanish occupation.

Indian Revisited

During the mid-1940s, Louie and another ranch hand came upon the skeletal remains of what appeared to be that of an ancient Indian. Beside the body was a rotted bow.

The Indian's clothing was of animal skins, and a leather moccasin clung to one foot. The skull and one leg were missing.

Could this have been the Indian who vanished so long ago? The body was discovered less than a mile south of our strange location.

They buried the remains nearby, marking the grave with several large rocks. Louie noted that the body didn't resemble 200-year-old remains.

Before hearing the above tale, I often wondered what became of the Indian allegedly swallowed by the archway. If the portal was visible from the opposite side, why didn't he come back through?

He might have never noticed a change and, to him, his friends had disappeared. Not finding them, he eventually returned to his village and perhaps also found it missing. Perhaps he was somehow transported forward in time, and for some unknown reason, died on that lonely hillside, only to be found by Louie years later.

The Shimmer

One day, Walt and Roy had their own weird experience near the stone portal. They returned there because Walt wanted to collect some geodes for friends in Tucson.

According to Walt, this lasted several minutes before it slowly faded. During this period, both felt a strange pressure within their ears.

Looking toward the archway, both saw it appear to shimmer.

Roy said, "That's it Walt. I'm outta here." After gathering a number of geodes, both left with Roy leading the way--rather fast.

During the summer months, temperatures can reach 110 degrees. The heat waves dancing off a flat surface can make objects appear to shimmer while looking through them. But this was mid-January and the temperature was around 60 or so.

Old Roy would never again return to the site, no matter how we tried to persuade him.

Was the shimmering and ear sensation the beginning of some activation that never reached its full potential? Seeing the expression on Roy's face after he returned to camp--take my word, it happened.

Ghost Camp

A number of individuals have disappeared from the unfriendly rugged hills over the years.

Did some make the unfortunate mistake of entering the portal at the wrong time? The following suggests that possibility.

While the four of us were checking out an old silver workings, we came upon a deserted miners camp that Louie had told us about weeks earlier. Everything was left behind--rotted clothing, tools, drill steel, old blankets and cooking utensils. Everything was there to maintain a functional camp. By the looks of several items, I'd say the site was active during the 1930s.

The camp was almost a mile from the bizarre site high above. Did this party fall victim to it, or did he become discouraged with mining and abandon camp? I find this highly unlikely.

It looked as though somebody just walked away and never returned--or couldn't.

We also heard a story about a lone prospector who arrived each October and remained until spring. This continued for several years.

One day, he vanished, leaving his horse, wagon and camp behind. It was located near a saddle in the mountains--just north of you know what. A body was never found.

We visited this site and found a deep shaft nearby with numerous open cuts on a hill. Was he prospecting or treasure hunting? It was rumored that some bandit's loot--two bags of gold coins--was buried within this area.

Stories like this keep people like us searching.

Stones From the Heavens

Another close encounter occurred about 14 months into our treasure game, a game that seemed to be going nowhere.

While in Arivaca picking up needed supplies, we met three other treasure hunters.

They were in the area for a month seeking the famous "Lost Treasure of Carreta Canyon" hidden by the fleeing padres from the Tumacacori Mission during the great Pima uprising of 1751.

We invited them to stop by camp and gave them directions. Several weeks later, they arrived and had an interesting story to tell.

By chance, while traveling overland, they camped near the mouth of the canyon leading to the strange area. We discovered this when one pointed to their campsite on his map.

While relaxing one evening after a long, tiring search for this elusive treasure, they heard a sound like rain hitting the tent. Stepping outside, they saw the sky was clear.

All at once a shower of hundreds of small stones came cascading down around them. Most were the size of a large pea, were reddish brown and resembled hematite, an iron ore.

Their camp wasn't located near any high cliffs where the stones could have originated. George, a member of the group, jokingly said: "Perhaps we're camping on some ancient Indian burial ground and the spirits want us to leave."

Picking several up, they noticed they were quite warm to the touch.

He had read an article about an incident similar to this occurring on a burial ground somewhere in the Midwest.

By now, one has to admit something quite out of the ordinary encircles this strange site.

I won't definitely say their encounter with the warm stones had anything to do with our odd out-of-time region. Indian spirits or not, something weird occurred while they sat relaxing in their tent.

My Encounter

After our two-year adventure ended without finding buried gold or lost mines, we returned to Washington State for almost a year. We then moved to Arizona, making Tucson our home.

Most of our adult lives have been one long adventure after the other. If Roy and Walt arrived at our door with some wild treasure lead, we'd be off with them the next day. To live such a lifestyle, we all remained single. We were one big happy family of devil-may-care adventurers.

The strange experience I had occurred on Oct. 14, 1973.

During one of our two-week adventures, I found myself near the canyon that leads towards that oddball site. Not having been there in almost four years, I decided to pay it a visit. The canyon was just as rugged as ever. After climbing and slipping among the boulders, I finally arrived at the steep hill leading to the site above.

It's a long, weary climb, so I paused for a breather half way up. I sat on the slope facing north. Too my left (west), the steep hill followed the canyon perhaps a mile, but something was definitely wrong.

Below to my left was a canyon--where none had existed. Curious, I made my way down, entering it from the eastside, so I thought.

I soon discovered I was in the same canyon that led toward the hill I had just scaled. I was more than 250 yards back down the canyon on a different slope and now I was facing south--I had mysteriously been transported to the new location. Thinking I was looking west, I was really looking east seeing the canyon I had just hiked.

There was no way on earth I could have reached this other slope while climbing the original hill. Knowing where I was, suddenly I knew why this had happened. Any skepticism I had about this crazy site vanished.

I was apprehensive about continuing and should have departed the area immediately. But curiosity led me on. I made the grueling climb once again, passing the spot where minutes before I had been resting

I realized that if something within this site caused my teleportation, I might not even be in my own time. What a frightening thought that was. I felt somewhat alarmed over the incident that occurred.

Soon, I arrived at the site and looked around. Everything appeared normal. No shimmering effects, lights or other odd observations were observed.

However, I noticed how silent it was--not a breeze, a birdcall, nothing.

Looking down, I saw the hairs on my arms standing straight up like being near static electricity. I began feeling uneasy and decided to leave.

It seemed each time we visited this twilight zone, we'd discover another geological oddity, and this time was no different.

While descending the hill, I found an outcropping of thunder eggs--a cryo-crystalline variety of quartz found in egg-shaped nodules. We had searched this area before, and I couldn't understand how we missed seeing them. After gathering several, I continued on.

If what happened was caused by this tricky mysterious region, I didn't want to perhaps get zapped a second time and wind up God knows where. I was quite relieved when I climbed from the canyon and found my Jeep where I had left it three hours earlier.

Glancing skyward, I spotted a jet passing over. I sure was happy it wasn't some prehistoric bird. I joke now, but something serious could have occurred while in the presence of that weird, upside-down area.

That evening at camp, I tried to arrive at some satisfactory answer to what may have happened. Some force could have been released from the area, but being well below the site, I didn't receive its full impact. Anyway, something moved me within a micro second without ever realizing something occurred. This wasn't my imagination.

I have kept the location secret all these years, as I do not want the area turning into some circus sideshow.

Only five living friends of mine know its location. The others--Roy, Walt and Louie--have gone on to that Big Desert in the sky, where all of us will meet again.

It is not some UFO landing site or mythical place to communicate with spirits from the beyond, but it is capable of altering time at random.

On my last visit to this wondrous place, I discovered the top portion of the archway had collapsed. All that remains are the two columns. Will this damage interfere with its ability to change time?

The following story answers that question.

New Visitors

During 2001, my friend Bill Riley and his wife, Mary, wanted to visit the area after hearing the remarkable stories surrounding it. Both had to promise not to reveal its location to others. After showing them the rugged route on a map, it still took them several attempts to find it.

During their first attempt to reach this forbidden zone, Bill injured his knee but managed to continue. I had to remind them how unfriendly this region can be while prowling its harsh domain.

On their second trip, they missed the right hill. However, they did discover a portion of the geode bed, and were amazed by its expense.

That evening, while camping within the canyon, both claimed a slight vibration came from the nearby geodes when placing their hands upon them.

Mary later mentioned it was a spooky place and she felt uneasy throughout the night.

The following morning while exploring, Bill discovered a hollow geode large enough to sit in. It's odd we didn't find this large geode while exploring, as I've been there perhaps 10 times.

Like I've mentioned, it's a real odd place. You see something one time and it's gone the next.

Could these large geodes be the main source that activates the natural energy within the area, or just more wild unfounded speculation?

On their final trip into this never-never land of mystery, Bill and Mary found the correct hill. After an exhausting climb, they arrived at the site. Bill found most of what I told him to search for, but the archway eluded them.

While searching, Bill and Mary spotted what resembled the two columns off in the distance. Upon arriving where they should have been, both columns had vanished.

Was this their imagination, or were the strange forces within the area playing with their minds?

After spending the day searching and not witnessing any strange activities except for the vanishing columns, they left arriving at their truck after dark.

While preparing to leave and follow their tracks out to the ranch road, Bill glanced toward the canyon. In the sky above the site, a circular transparent donut-shaped glow was seen resembling the Aurora Borealis. From the inside rim, tiny sparkling particles were observed cascading downward. Taking his digita1 camera, Bill took a picture of the odd display before it vanished.

Later, only the black sky and the moon appeared in the photo. Using a magnifying glass something else could be seen, but it was too faint to make out.

Mary refuses to go there anymore.

Fact or Fiction?

It alters time, and there's no way to predict when this might occur.

What we have out there is a natural phenomena created accidentally by nature.

The majority of these tricks of time seem to occur during the summer and winter storm season when lots of energy is about. But others happen during the stillness of the night or on sunny days.

Undoubtedly, there will be the skeptics and believers. This is definitely not a hoax or a figment of this writer's imagination.

Such a place exists high on a plateau near the Mexican border. Odd things do occur at random within its mysterious boundaries.

Can this site alter time? I believe so until proven wrong.

Strange activities no doubt still occur near this bewildering location but go unnoticed by human eyes due to its remote proximity to civilization. I'll no doubt return there again someday.

Will this uncanny mystery ever be solved? Only time will tell. I believe there's ample evidence to support the claim that something quite unnatural happens at random within this locale.

How does that saying go? Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.
