REPUBLICAN DECEPTION -

As my
husband is fond of saying, we have Socialist Party A and Socialist Party
B, there is little difference. -
It seems quite obvious to even the least
politically involved that both parties are melding into one and both are
far too liberal for the conservative, small government voters who favor
our founding fathers’ beliefs and desires for America. -
In 1965,
I remember a close friend telling me that the Soviet Union and America
would meld into one combining both communism and capitalism. I’ve
thought of that statement many times over the years. -
Countless
phone calls from the Republican National Committee, the College Republican
National Committee, and every other form of Republican National group
out there has phoned me for a donation. -
If that isn’t enough, the
RNC and various other Republican groups continue to send me snail mail
which includes two and three page questionnaires and surveys, and at the
end of same, an area to mark for the amount of your donation. -
With the
disgust I’ve felt for so long regarding the Republican choices for
office, I mostly pitched these costly forms in the trash. However, after
the 2008 election, I decided to change my strategy. -
Every
questionnaire seems to ask the questions with answers they KNOW we want
them to follow… -
a case in point is, “Do you believe the stimulus
is working for America?” Or this, “Do you approve of the healthcare
reform by President Obama?” -
You know the type of questions, as I’m
sure many of you have received these forms and these phone calls soliciting
for funds as well. -
I fill
out the questionnaires, then I add my own short letter stating that I
am much more inclined to do my own research on where my money will go
and to whom I will support for office than they have been in the past
or even now. -
The same goes for the phone solicitations…I tell them
I no longer trust their decisions and will never be funding them again
and then I tell them why. -
Do conservatives
want the likes of John McCain nominated for the highest office in the
land? -
I highly doubt McCain would have garnered even half the votes he
got had it not been for his vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, who
he quite obviously threw under the bus. -
Sarah’s biggest mistake
was accepting that nomination, but that’s another story. -
A case
in point is the choice of the Republican party of Michael Steele as the
head of the RNC, which was quite disturbing for many reasons. -
One has
to wonder if Steele was chosen for the color of his skin rather than the
content of his character and especially his failure to uphold the former
Republican platform of pro-life, pro-family, small government, etc. -
In
a March, 2009 interview with GQ Magazine, he was asked to elaborate on
his beliefs. Here is what he said when asked about pro-life, -
"The
choice issue cuts two ways. You can choose life, or you can choose abortion.
You know, my mother chose life. So, you know, I think the power of the
argument of choice boils down to stating a case for one or the other." -
"Are
you saying you think women have the right to choose abortion?" the
interviewer asked.
Steele responded, "Yeah. I mean, again, I think that's an individual
choice." -
GQ:
"You do?"
Steele:
"Yeah. Absolutely." -
Then
when he was asked about marriage, he stated he believed it was between
a man and a woman, but when asked if homosexuality was a choice, he stated,
"Oh, no. I don't think I've ever really subscribed to that view,
that you can turn it on and off like a water tap. ... You just can't simply
say, oh, like, 'Tomorrow morning I'm gonna stop being gay.' It's like
saying, 'Tomorrow morning I'm gonna stop being black.'" -
Several
conservative Republicans were not assuaged when Steele tried to clarify
that his beliefs were those of the Republican platform. However, nothing
was done. -
The
crowning piece that told me Michael Steele was another neo-conservative
was the fact that he is a five-year member of the globalist, one-world
(Christian excluding) Aspen Institute. -
Please see NWV’s article
by my friend, Betty Freauf, JUST WHO IS MICHAEL STEELE? In the March 18,
2009 issue. -
Also see Dr. Dennis Cuddy’s excellent article in NWV’s,
THE POWER ELITE EXPOSED from March 16, 2004. -
The
former head of the Aspen Institute, new age environmentalist Maurice Strong,
has membership in the following organizations, but this does not include
the entire list:
•
Senior Advisor to UN Secretary General Kofi Annan
• Senior Advisor to World Bank President James
Wolfensohn
• Chairman of the Earth Council
• Chairman of the World Resources Institute
• Co-Chairman of the Council of the World Economic
Forum
• member of Toyota’s International Advisory
Board -
He is
also a long time member of the Futurist Society (which Newt Gingrich also
belongs to as well as Newt’s long time friends Alvin and Heidi Toffler). -
(See Toffler’s book, THE THIRD WAVE)
-
To digress, remember Newt recently
came out for the republican nominee in New York’s 23rd congressional
district, Dede Scozzafava, who represents the Democratic party with her
entire platform but is running on the Republican ticket against a constitutionalist
running on the conservative party by the name of Doug Hoffman. -
The
following is from the website, THE
ASPEN INSTITUTE AND THE CLUB OF ROME -
“The
Aspen Institute was founded in 1949, by Aldous Huxley, and John Maynard
Hutchins, in commemoration of the 200th birthday of German philosopher
and author of Faust, and a member of the Illuminati,
Goethe. -
Robert O. Anderson also contributed significant funds to a project
initiated by the Rockefeller family, together with Aurelio Peccei
and Alexander King, at the Rockefeller’s estate
at Bellagio, Italy, called the Club of Rome. -
In 1972, this Club of Rome, and the US Association of the Club of Rome,
gave widespread publicity to their publication of the notorious “Limits
to Growth.” -
Supported by research done at MIT, this report concluded
that industrialization had to be halted to save the planet from ecological
catastrophe. -
These
organizations were exploiting the panic induced, when Paul Ehrlich, a
biologist at Stanford, and admirer of Bertrand Russell, in 1968, wrote
his Malthusian projections in a best-selling book called The Population
Bomb. “ -
Quite
obviously, our Republican party has joined with the enemy. -
Weak kneed,
spineless men like former Tennessee Senator Dr. Bill Frist, -
Senators from
Maine, Olympia Snowe, and Susan Collins, -
Minority leader Boehner and Newt
Gingrich who is backing Dede Scozzafava, and countless others too numerous
to name, who do not represent conservative Republicans or ideals, do not
deserve to have our cash to continue their happy allegiance with the Marxist
ideologues of the left. -
I’ve
sent donations to the Republican running against Arlen Specter who would
have been elected 5 years ago had President Bush not interceded for Specter. -
There are two Republicans running in the primary against Harry Reid, one
is a constitutionalist. -
From
my friend and author Charlotte Iserbyt, comes this notice: -
“Those
researchers out there who worked SO hard to kill Outcomes Based Education
in the eighties/nineties will recognize the name "Cherilyn Gulbrandtsen"
whose name is now Cherilyn Eagar. Cherilyn was one of our brightest, effective,
attractive, and talented (what a singing voice!) activists. I know her
well and am thrilled she is running for the U.S. Senate from Utah. Please
spread the word and give her support in her race for that important position.”
Check her out
here. -
There
are countless good conservative folks running that need our support. -
We
should NOT trust the RNC or any of their sister organizations to send
our monies to the true conservatives. -
Remember, all of the congress is
up for re-election in 2010 and a third of the senate is up for re-election. -
All senators run
for a 6 year term. The two exceptions are Obama and Biden’s senate
seats which also need to be filled, bringing the amount of senators running
this year to a total of 36. -
When
you receive phone calls and snail mail from the RNC, I urge you to tell
them you feel highly qualified to do your own research on where you’ll
send your monies, and that they are wasting their time calling you for
cash that they’ll distribute to the likes of Scozzafava (500,000
from the RNC), Snowe, Collins and others who are simply Republicans in
name only. -

Just What the Doctor
Ordered -
It is a matter of judgment as to when, but sometimes third
party candidates and even spoilers are necessary to discipline a
hopelessly wayward Republican Party. -
Also next month is a special
election in New York to fill the seat of Republican Rep. John
McHugh. -
Sneaking away with the Republican nomination for the
seat, despite strong local opposition, is ultraliberal state Rep.
Dede Scozzafava. She even has past ties to ACORN and the
ultraleft Working Families Party. -
Her election would only help
the Obama leftists, as the media heralds her as the new, modern
Republican, and she votes for the Obama neo-socialist
agenda. -
Fortunately, the New York Conservative Party is running a
true Reagan Republican, Doug Hoffman. -
The latest poll: Scozzafava
20.3%, Democrat Bill Owens 17.3%, and Hoffman 17.0%. Reagan
Republicans, free market conservatives, tea party patriots,
traditional values conservatives (Scozzafava is pro-choice and
pro-gay marriage), nationwide, need to pour resources into this
race. -
Seriously, I am like Paul Revere at Lexington and Concord
here. A win by Hoffman would be a political jolt that would help
conservatives in the Republican party nationwide. -
Congressional Republicans underestimate the grassroots
anger that will not tolerate support for President Obama's
leftist agenda. -
Any Republican who votes for the Obama/Democrat
health care takeover will be marked not just for a primary
challenge, but, if necessary, for a third party spoiler with the
express purpose of driving the apostate from office. -
If enough
Senate Republicans vote for Obamacare in the end, then a national
third party will be started, and the Republican Party will
implode. -
At a minimum, don't be surprised if an Independent
Conservative Party is started in Maine in the next few
months. -
The same goes for those Republicans who are sufficiently
uninformed on the issue to vote for cap and trade. -
That is why
Rep. Mark Kirk (R-IL) badly hurt his chances to win the open
Illinois Senate seat next year by voting for the ridiculous,
unjustifiable House cap and trade bill. -
Even environmentalists
opposed the bill riddled with special interest loopholes. -
Though
the bill would take us all the way back to 1907 by ultimately
trying to reduce fossil fuel use by 83%, even radical
environmentalists admit it would only slow temperature increases
by an absurd 9/100ths of one degree. -
Conservatives in Illinois
need to meet and coalesce around a true Reagan alternative to
Kirk, who is running as a McCain poster boy. -
Hang Together, or Hang
Separately -
The battle for the future of America is in the Republican
Party. -
Conservatives, tea party patriots, taxpayer activists,
even free market libertarians need to join the fight over whether
we will have a Reagan Republican party, or a McCain Democrat
party, or a dysfunctional party whose vote is hopelessly split by
third party spoilers. -
The threat to our country is now more
serious than ever. If we don't figure this out, we will lose our
country, and the world will enter the New Dark Ages.

The Paulson Plan means you are going to eat it all, Paulson wants to keep the corrupt greed machine going, A Wall Street Bailout plan means you will pay for their mistakes, Administration trying to scare everyone into accepting bailout plan, Buyouts now like zombie marriages, derivative Death-Star on its way,
-
The capsule for the episode reads as follows: Hanky Panky and Buck-Busting Ben decide to renovate the Goldilocks Matrix, giving it a major overhaul, and attempt to redefine the word: "fantasy."
-
The name of the episode, appropriately enough, is "The Paulson Plan."
-
Indeed, The Paulson Plan, so-called, may be the most vivid product of a fertile imagination since "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Wizard of Oz," which quite frankly are more believable than the reasons given for the implementation of the "The Paulson Plan."
-
Oh, we must help the poor sheople by easing the credit-crunch so they can get more loans and get deeper into hock (like more loans is what they somehow need), and so their savings accounts and pensions plans can be saved as we hyperinflate the dollar.
-
Oh, we are sooooo concerned about the welfare of the poor, helpless sheople!
-
We have to save them from destroying themselves, because only we, the masters of the universe, know what is best for them. (Judy, get the barf-bag - quick!)
-
You just don't understand. The corrupt, graft-laden, insider-trading-saturated, fraud-based, Ponzi-scheming system that we have used to rip you off and steal you blind for over a century must obviously be saved so we can keep screwing you ad infinitum.
-
Add Sticky NoteAfter all, isn't that what sheople are for, to be fleeced and sheered, fattened and slaughtered?
- Sheople - on 2008-10-02
-
You know your place. You are all bleating, ignorant sheople, so come lick our boots - and give us the damned money!!!
-
Oh, there, there, now. We're sorry to take such an imperious tone with you. There, there, just give in to our demands like good little sheople and, in time, everything will turn out juuuuust fine --- NOT!
-
We know we have taxed you to death via the IRS and inflation of the money supply, we know we have manipulated all the markets and engaged in rampant insider-trading and loan fraud, thus stealing trillions of dollars of your hard-earned cash from you,
-
we know we created Ponzi-scheme bubbles in dot.com stocks and real estate, we know we gave mortgages to people who could not afford homes in the first place, we know that we falsely rated stocks, bonds and derivatives and "cooked our books" to get you and our international friends to pay top dollar for crap,
-
Add Sticky Notewe know we lied to you about every economic statistic on the face of the planet, but, hey, we're all in this together now, and you have no alternative other than to accept our bailout plan (oh, let's call it a "rescue plan" instead) so thatyou can pay for all the economic carnage resulting from our debauchery.
- REMEMBER, REMEMBER THE 1st OF OCTOBER!! - on 2008-10-02
-
And don't worry about any oversight when it comes to disbursing the piddling $700 billion, because it should be obvious, based on all the foregoing, that we can be trusted to handle the mere 700 billion as if it were -well - our own, which it will be if you approve the plan!
-
Oh, but perhaps we should not mention that - you might construe that as some kind of silly old moral hazard, hahaha. And never mind that we told you we don't know if the plan will work, because we know it won't, but we didn't want to upset you any more than you already are.
-
And have no concern that the 1.4 quadrillion dollar, roiling, boiling derivatives volcano is going to wipe out the entire world banking system with molten credit default swaps and interest rate swaps in a blaze of pyroclastic glory over the next several years,
-
because, hey - we're working on it! And never mind that the problem is unsolvable.
-
This is the United Goldilocks Matrix, where everything turns out juuuuust right!
-
Note first, how the Paulson Plan, which we will hereinafter refer to as PP (which is also a good acronym for Preposterous Poppycock), is a perfect example of Illuminist extortion aimed at stuffing a very rotten apple down the collective throats of our elitist marionettes in Congress, who, for the first-time in what must be over half a century, displayed some backbone in their denial of the initial proposal for the PP,
-
albeit that their nixing of the PP was most likely motivated by political opportunism more so than by any true patriotism.
-
First, we saw Bear Stearns assassinated this March as an appetizer.
-
The extortion got started with a bang on September 7, when Fannie and Freddie were nationalized, and then we were "shocked and awed" with a series of colossal commercial bank and investment bank failures, starting with the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers on September 10, at which time Merrill Lynch also went under and was purchased by Bank of America. Then AIG goes down on the 16th.
-
Out comes the PP on the 20th. Then, to keep up the pressure, Washington Mutual implodes on the 25th and is acquired by JP Morgan Chase, followed by the vaporization of Wachovia on the 29th, which is acquired by Citigroup in the hours before the first vote on the PP is commenced.
-
Now mind you that these banks have been insolvent from the outset of the credit-crunch in August of 2007, as we have reported to you over the past year.
-
And here we are, with Congress about to recess to campaign for reelection just before the vote in November, and suddenly the whole system, which until now has been kept in a state of suspended animation, comes down to scare everyone into accepting the PP. How blatant and churlish can you get?
-
Along the way, we also saw Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley give up their investment bank charters for commercial bank charters while getting bailed out with equity injections from various Illuminist companies.
-
Then banks and other financial institutions in Europe suddenly crumble, after unofficial weekend rumblings, with official announcements of bailouts/nationalizations made, right on cue, on Monday to bolster the PP, including Fortis (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemborg), Hypo Real Estate (Germany), Bradford and Bingley (UK), Glitner Bank (Iceland) and Unicredito (Italy).
-
Here is a little time line summarizing the action that occurred as a lead-up to the vote on the PP:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2008/sep/27/wallstreet.useconomy3 -
Add Sticky NoteNevertheless, the PP gets nixed by the US House of Representatives in a "shocker," and suddenly the Dow plunges 777 points as punishment for our Congress having the audacity to deny the Illuminati because they were getting inundated with calls from constituents who were against the PP, sometimes by as much as 300 to 1.
- Extortion and blackmail by the Banksters and their contracted Hit Men (aka the U.S. Senate) - on 2008-10-02
-
The message: give us the $700 billion or we will give you trillions worth of grief just prior to elections.
-
As a side note, while we are not into numerology, when you get a 777-point punishment for nixing a $700 billion bailout plan, may we suggest there is some sort of message there.
-
Also, as a side note, we had to laugh when Citigroup bought out Wachovia. It was like a zombie marriage made in heaven. The walking dead marrying another member of the walking dead.
-
It's like mixing C-4 with TNT. What a conflagration that combination is going to suffer!
-
We suppose, for now, that we technically have the Fed now leading the Big Five instead of the Big Four (the Big Five being JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and now Citigroup). We'll see how long that lasts.
-
Add Sticky NoteWe expect to get back to the Big Four in the not-too-distant future. The Big Four will get vaporized later, as will the Fed, with everything being nationalized, as planned by the Illuminati all along.
- For the goal is a One World Government - on 2008-10-02
-
Now we are hearing the moron, Illuminist bankers in Europe drone on about how doltish the Americans are for rejecting such an excellent plan.
-
Then there is the Caligula Administration, whining that we don't like the plan any more than you do, but it must be passed or everyone will suffer great pain (as if that can somehow be avoided and as if they aren't drooling over the profits to be made when the money is doled out).
-
Now, the Senate leaders are getting in on the act, blaming the House for defeating such a wonderful plan and causing trillions in losses in the stock markets (even though it was really just the PPT withdrawing its support and strengthening the yen, thereby allowing the financial markets to fall under the weight of their horrendous fundamentals, as well they should when left to themselves instead of being manipulated by our corporatist, fascist, elitist scum and their financial anti-gravity machines).
-
The Senate is going to add some tax breaks to sweeten it for the House Republicans, but the House Democrats may then be put off.
-
Add Sticky NoteThe Senate is thus trying to obfuscate what is the main issue - that the plan won't work, will ultimately increase our pain and fan the flames of hyper-stagflation and out-of-control, double-digit interest rates as everyone stampedes toward the exits, trying to unload their treasury paper all at the same time before it becomes worthless.
- Failure - on 2008-10-02
-
Meanwhile, the bribes and threats are being thrown every which way as the Wall Street pirates and the usual government scalawags attempt to claim their booty.
-
This so-called rescue plan is a "disgrace," is "totally flawed" and there are many better, and far less expensive, alternatives, notes the respected economist Nouriel Roubini.
-
Also noted by Mr. Roubini is the fact that credit and other financial markets have been deteriorating despite the prospects of approval for the PP, which shows you in spades that the plan won't work and will do little more than line the pockets of the Illuminists at the expense of the taxpayers who will get vaporized in the end.
-
As Mr. Roubini points out, the government's purchase of bank assets is the route the Japanese took, and this led to a two-decade recession/depression which they still struggle with to this day.
-
We will now follow them into financial oblivion unless by some miracle the elitists are stopped from implementing the PP, or the Derivative Death-Star detonates before they can complete their final raping of the sheople.
-
Add Sticky NoteInstead of having a brief one or two years of moderate depression, we will end up with one or two lost decades and the worst depression ever created in the history of mankind, not to mention a corporate, fascist police state.
- The end result of the treason in the U.S. Senate - on 2008-10-02
-
The PP will temporarily put off, and greatly magnify, the final implosion of our economy which will be worse by an order of magnitude as the direct result of the implementation of the PP.
-
The glowing, Quadrillion Dollar Derivative Death-Star insures that destruction is on its way.
-
It is not "if," but "when." When it explodes, in the aftermath, a financial black hole will form as global markets implode, and will suck everything into one final crushing moment of complete annihilation.
-
The PP will only serve to extend the period of elitist fraud, and they will continue to produce toxic waste and dump it on their sucker-dupes for vast fees, spreads and commissions as they speculate, gamble and re-leverage with all their newfound largesse, courtesy of the US taxpayer and the backing of nationalized Phonie and Fraudie along with the huge injection from the PP.
-
They have beaten down commodities. Now, all they have to do is have the PPT drive up the stock market with the puffery provided by the PP, and they win.
-
This all ties in with the Big Sting Two.
-
They will bail out through their dark pools of liquidity, Project Turquoise and Baikal, behind the public's back, and then use their sales proceeds to buy up all the tangible assets such as precious metals, commodities, real estate and domestic infrastructure at fraudulently manipulated and reduced prices.
-
Such drastically reduced prices will also become available at an ever-accelerating pace as financial and business corporations continue to collapse and go into bankruptcy.
-
After they have bailed out of all dollar-denominated paper assets, the Illuminati will let the stock and bond markets come-crashing down, the price of precious metals and other tangible assets will explode, they will clean up, and you, the sheople taxpayers, will get left holding the proverbial bag of worthless fiat paper for the nth time.
-
As the system implodes, the highly appreciated tangible assets of the Illuminists will be used to purchase property for pennies on the dollar as liquidations continue under the weight of what will be a complete systemic failure of the fiat money and credit system, after the elitists have had their fun.
-
That is their hope, but we doubt they can hold it up long enough to complete their final rip-off of the sheople.
-
This is why they fear the Derivatives Death-Star, and start mumbling to themselves every time someone in Congress brings that subject up.
-
They must bail out before this Death-Star detonates, or they will be wiped out, hence their desperation to implement the PP.
-
They intend to leave nothing but burned out corporate husks, the Fed and the Big Five included, when the Derivatives Death-Star detonates, and then you, the sheople, will be asked to nationalize the entire banking system.
-
This is what happened to Germany in the aftermath of the Weimar Republic after hyperinflation had cut its swath of destruction.
-
Add Sticky NoteAnd we have relatives of some of the same players involved in the rebuilding of Nazi Germany as a fascist police state.
- And we know who they are!! - on 2008-10-02
-
Caligula's grandfather, Prescott Bush, helped finance the new Nazi fascist government through a banking concern he managed which was later shut down as an entity that collaborated with the Nazis.
-
Add Sticky NoteHe was almost hanged for treason before his Illuminist buddies saved his neck.
- And they need to be in a docket such as the Nazi high command was at Nuremberg and Tojo was in Asia. - on 2008-10-02
-
And now GHWB and Dubya are working off the same playbook as history repeats itself.
-
Add Sticky NoteThe Fourth Reich is coming to a theatre near you, complete with Nazi death camps and a Nazi police state.
- America under a fascist state - on 2008-10-02
-
As you watch the financial carnage going down all around you, perhaps you can now start to understand and appreciate that this is not business as usual and that we are not conspiracy quacks talking out of our back ends. You had better wake up and take action quickly, or you will be caught up in a new Holocaust.
-
Now, let's take a look at some of the new blather that was added to the PP to bring about the so-called compromise.
-
First, we state categorically that the taxpayers will not make a single dime of profit from this scam. You are going to pay for this cess pool of toxic sewage at the "hold to maturity value," which means you will pay par less any principal reduction from payments received.
-
And which paper do you think they are going to buy with your dollars? Do you think it will be the stuff worth 70 cents on the dollar, or will it be the stuff going for 10 cents or less on the dollar?
-
We will not even insult your intelligence by answering that question. And if this toxic waste is worth pennies on the dollar now, what will it be worth when our economy finally comes down under the weight of our rabid profligacy, rampaging fraud, rampant speculation, raving lunatic leverage and roaring, outrageous deficits?
-
You guessed it. A big fat goose egg. You will eat the whole thing - guaranteed.

President Bush's latest permutation of crisis management is the last straw. But who best to roll back the excesses?

September 28, 2008
-
As the Bush administration attempts to stabilize the nation's economy, we are witness to the final chapter of a period of perverse and dishonest leadership that has used its own crises to justify the expansion of its own power.
-
This was a president who came to office on promises of modesty -- who championed a "humble nation," scorned nation building and promised a more limited role for government in the lives of its citizens.
-
Then he presided over a six-year attempt to tear down and rebuild the nations of Afghanistan and Iraq, and now has embarked on the most profound expansion of the federal government's role in the private economy since the Depression.
-
Add Sticky NoteIn both cases, the pattern is the same. Ineptitude led to crisis; crisis then became the argument for the radical expansion of executive power.
- "Order out of Chaos" - on 2008-09-29
-
The administration insisted that it exercise its new authority with a minimum of scrutiny by Congress, the courts or the public.
-
In the so-called war on terror, that has meant the abdication of our most basic American principles.
-
Add Sticky NoteWe have forfeited privacy and honor -- the administration has monitored phones and e-mails without warrants and has secreted prisoners in foreign lands, arguing that they deserved none of our protections even while in our custody.
- The "Fourth Reich" - on 2008-09-29
-
As a nation, we have stooped to torture (while debating the meaning of the word) and refused to recognize one of our most basic Anglo-American notions, the principle of habeas corpus (thankfully, the Supreme Court, seven of whose members are Republicans, drew the line at that abomination).
-
We have held prisoners in detention without trial, without charge, without end. In so doing, we have antagonized the world and debased America's moral authority to lead.
-
The same administration responsible for these catastrophes has over the last month nationalized the largest source of funding for mortgages and the largest insurance company on the planet.
-
And it proposed to intervene even more dramatically in the nation's economy by having the Treasury Department -- with no court, congressional or public oversight -- relieve financial institutions of the troubled mortgages and related securities that have locked up the lending system.
-
There is no doubt about the depth and range of the crisis that provokes these calls for government action. The gyrations of the stock market have been dismaying, and the threat to the country's financial institutions -- and everyone who borrows from or invests in them -- is real.
-
Add Sticky NoteStill, the audacity of this administration demanding expanded powers and curtailed accountability is a wonder to behold.
- Unmitigated gall - on 2008-09-29
-
The bitter irony is that this crisis warrants dramatic intervention, but President Bush's record makes him difficult to trust even when he's right.
-
These troubles are about more than a president who is unfaithful to his word. Bush has transformed the balance of power in our government.
-
We are seeing the erection of an imperial presidency, immune from oversight when it fights terrorists and when it rescues banks.
-
Add Sticky NotePolitically, these developments raise two questions: Which candidate to succeed Bush benefits most by the events of recent weeks?
- Obama - on 2008-09-29
-
Add Sticky NoteAnd which candidate, if either, would have the strength to roll back these expansions of presidential power if elected?
- Neither - on 2008-09-29
-
To the first question, the answer seems to be Barack Obama, though only modestly.
-
Obama's poll numbers have inched up in recent days as voters have taken stock of a frighteningly complex economic meltdown and been left to wonder what to think of John McCain's abrupt, halting responses -- as McCain saw it, the "fundamentals" of the economy were sound one moment, at risk the next.
-
Questions about McCain's judgment in recent days have only been deepened by the performances of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. She has struggled in her rare public appearances, and her selection risks appearing all the more reckless and cynical when held against the seriousness of this financial crisis.
-
Even McCain's campaign "suspension" seemed like gamesmanship.
-
He said he was rushing to Washington, but took his time, and the talks derailed soon after he arrived. He proclaimed that the situation was so dire he would not return to the stump until an agreement was reached, then did precisely what he said he wouldn't. It was not an impressive week for the Straight Talk Express.
-
Still, Obama has hardly run away with this issue, and the economic news exposes his weaknesses as well.
-
He is, after all, untested by executive crisis and a freshman senator of limited achievement in government.
-
Voters may well blanch at his relative inexperience, given the gravity of these times. Indeed, it is telling that in a week when his opponent flailed, Obama made scant headway in the polls.
-
On the matter of which candidate could be trusted to roll back the excessive powers that Bush has aggregated, Obama is vague and McCain is exasperating.
-
McCain has properly condemned the U.S. detention facility at Guantanamo Bay and said he would close it, but when the court granted detainees there the rights of habeas corpus, McCain denounced the ruling as "one of the worst decisions in the history of this country."
-
He condemned torture, but then, with the campaign underway, voted against legislation to limit the CIA's use of coercive interrogation. Those oscillations do not reassure.
-
Add Sticky NoteHe pledges to close Guantanamo, restore habeas corpus and end the invasions of privacy undertaken in the name of fighting terrorism. Those are welcome positions and provide some hope that he would roll back Bush's excesses.
- Didn't he vote for or support the bill for re-affirming wire taps on American citizens and granting retro-immunity to communication/telecoms? - on 2008-09-29
-
Obama, meanwhile, is more consistent and encouraging but offers few specifics.
-
But while he pledges allegiance to the separation of powers, Obama has said little about how to honor that pledge.
-
Rare is the politician who willingly cedes authority, and we have not heard enough from Obama to be convinced he's that rare person.
-
These are not abstractions. They are the legacy of this grim epoch, one that should be equally offensive to conservatives and liberals. George Bush promised humility and delivered arrogance. The next president must not.

GOP Nominee Says Improvements Needed To Bush Admin's Proposal To Increase Oversight And Limit Executives Compensation

Sept. 23, 2008
-
(AP) <!-- sphereit start -->Republican presidential candidate John McCain said Tuesday that he supports a $700 billion bailout of U.S. financial markets, but suggested improvements to the Bush administration's proposal to increase oversight and limit compensation for executives.
-
"Further inaction is simply not an option," McCain said in brief remarks to reporters, his first news conference in more than a month.
-
"We must pass legislation to address this crisis. If we do not, credit will dry up, with devastating consequences for our economy. People will no longer be able to buy homes and their life savings will be at stake. Businesses will not have enough money to pay their employees."
-
He called the proposed bailout a "staggering" figure that amounts to a $10,000 contribution for each U.S. household, money that could otherwise be used to rebuild roads and bridges in every town in the country.
-
To protect taxpayers, he asked for a bipartisan board to provide oversight, a plan to recover the money, a cap on compensation for executives of firms that are helped by the bailout and a ban on earmarks on the legislation.
-
Add Sticky NoteMcCain stopped short of saying he would vote "no" if his priorities weren't reflected.
- Yeah..some "maverick!" - on 2008-09-25
-
He said he was confident the final plan would include them.
-
While members of Congress have agreed in principle on aspects of the administration's proposal, many Democrats and some Republicans, like McCain, have insisted the plan deny "golden parachute" payments to executives at failing financial firms.
-
"In any solution, we must see accountability, we must see transparency and we must make sure taxpayers' dollars don't line the pockets of executives," McCain said earlier Tuesday while campaigning in Ohio.

As an insider tells me, Congressmen are "peeing in their pants" over the proposed bailout of the plutocrats - because they are being inundated by calls, emails, and visits from their very angry constituents.
-
No regular American believes Paulson and Bernanke, or thinks that their insider deal to rip us off for the government-connected rich is a good idea.
-
Both Obama and McCain are wholly owned subsidiaries of Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
-
But congressmen are vulnerable to a change in the climate of opinion. Indeed, eventually, the whole regime is.

Tell McCain - Oppose Derivatives
Bailout Or Drop Out
Of White House Bid -

WASHNGTON, DC -- Supporters
of John McCain should tell their man right away and in no uncertain terms
that he needs to take the lead in opposing the insane and futile derivatives
bailout demanded by the Wall Street financial parasites through their spokesmen
Hanky-Panky Paulson and Helicopter Ben Bernanke. -
Add Sticky NoteObama, a wholly owned
subsidiary of the Rockefellers, Soros, and Goldman Sachs, is a sure vote
in favor of whatever monstrosity Paulson is able to extort.- Obama: owned and opperated by Rockefeller, Soros and Goldman Sachs - on 2008-09-25
-
If McCain
were to join Barky in voting to flay the American people alive for the
sake of Wall Street's derivatives casino, he might as well give up the
race for the White House and go home. -
If McCain were to accept Obama's
weasel demand for a joint statement in support of the bailout, the Arizona
senator might as well drop out. -
Add Sticky NoteTwo thirds of the American people are
not supporting the $700 billion bailout.- Two-thirds of Americans oppose the bailout - on 2008-09-25
-
Add Sticky NoteA growing anti-elitist and anti-oligarchical
rage is abroad in the land.- Which is why the Elite are already positioning "their" military battalions and brigades to put down with violence any uprising of a justifiably enraged American citizenry. - on 2008-09-25
-
If Obama and McCain are in a united front
to support Wall Street blackmail, voters will conclude that Obama is a
plausible candidate, and he will emerge victorious. -
McCain desperately needs to get some daylight
between himself and the widely hated and discredited Bush. -
What better
way to do this than by breaking with the White House in spectacular fashion
on the greatest issue of the age, the economic future of the country? -
If
McCain emerges as a water carrier for Bush's bailout, all the talk about
mavericks, reform, and country first will be swept away by derision. "Wall
Street first" will be McCain's new slogan, and he will be exposed
as just another Wall Street Republican. -
The bailout, together with the
recent Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guarantees, means that there will be
no expanded health care, no infrastructure rebuilding, no social safety
net, no guarantee for Social Security, no tax relief, nothing but declining
standards of living and growing despair as far as the eye can see. -
The
bailout is national suicide, worse than the Iraq war, including in the
number of its victims. -
Add Sticky NoteBarky's support of the bailout with a few cosmetic
changes makes a mockery of all his promises, which are now a dead letter.- Obama's lies - on 2008-09-25
-
Barky's goal is to become Wall Street's bankruptcy administrator
for the United States of America in receivership. Barky's new slogan should
be "Bailouts we can believe in." -
Barky is a puppet, and is therefore
not a free agent. McCain could be a free agent if he wants it sufficiently.
We will soon find out what McCain is worth. -
Since two thirds of the voters do not want
the bailout, it is imperative for the survival of representative government
that one of the presidential candidates come forward in opposition to the
lunacy being demanded by the bankers. -
Otherwise, the current political
system will join the financial system on the moribund list. -
Add Sticky NoteToday
McCain appeared to be under the nefarious influence of the asset stripper
and hedge fund operator Romney, the cybernetic garage sale queen Meg Whitman,
the ogre Phil Gramm, and the failed CEO Carly Fiorina.- McCain's bad influences - on 2008-09-25
-
This gang of reprobates
is doubtless telling McCain to give Wall Street what it wants. That way
lies political doom. -
McCain should contemplate the 1948 campaign
of Harry Truman, who was dumped by the ruling elite in favor of Tom Dewey,
Wall Street's darling of that year. Truman refused to quit, took heart,
organized a whistle stop tour, and earned the name of Give 'Em Hell Harry
on his way to winning the election. That is more or less what McCain will
do now if he has any guts. -
A GENERAL STRIKE AGAINST THE BAILOUT IS URGENT
-
As for the rest of us, the great vocal two
thirds majority, we need to make our opposition to the Wall Street looting
plan known. It is a monstrosity, and it will not work. -
It is impossible
to maintain paper values in a world economic panic and depression, and
it is infinitely destructive to try to do this. Derivatives are an insatiable
black hole which cannot be amortized they must be destroyed, wiped
off the books by any means necessary. -
We can get along fine without Wall
Street by nationalizing the Fed and going back to Hamiltonian national
banking. -
We do not need derivatives. We do not need JP Morgan Chase. We
do not need Goldman Sachs. We need production, infrastructure, and re-industrialization,
not more toxic paper. -
The only adequate response to what is being
done this week in Washington would of course be an open-ended general strike
by the labor movement, its allies, and all persons of good will. -
Do we
have any labor leaders or other mass leaders capable of calling for such
a mass strike? If they exist, they should come forward and make themselves
known right now.

What I'm about to suggest will be a little too heavy for
some readers, especially for those who mistakenly believe that the official
story the world was told about the events of September 11, 2001, is anywhere
near true. -
Anyone who hasn't realized by now that the whole fiasco was
an inside government job, well, simply hasn't been paying attention. -
Some factual "givens" must be understood
before I lay my predictions on you. The purpose is that when some or all
of them come to pass, then readers will -
(1) not be surprised and (2) they'll
have a fundamental understanding of what will be some of the motives. -
Some will no doubt wrongly call me "racist," but I hasten to
remind readers that telling the truth cannot justifiably be regarded as
racist (though it is "politically correct" to keep one's mouth
shut). -
Neither Obama nor McCain is qualified to lead sheep
to pasture without the help of a well-trained shepherd dog. McCain flew
airplanes, he didn't command battalions, brigades, squadrons, or anything. -
His only experience
in government has been in the Congress, where he has run nothing. He no
doubt has always had the equivalent of an office manager to supervise his
staff, so he hasn't even run an office staff. -
The Senate has been
in session for 143 work days since he has been a Senator. He hasn't introduced
any legislation worth mentioning, and he hasn't voted on any measures that
were opposed by the other party. -
Obama is as much a joke as McCain.
-
Bills that rename post
offices, and similar actions, usually pass by unanimous consent and
voice votes that can't be traced back to any group of Senators. Oh, he
was a "community organizer," whatever that is. -
There's lots of evidence Obama is a devout Muslim,
and states in his own book that he will stand with the Muslims if the winds
of change ever force his hand. -
Obama Admits Muslim Faith - 2 min
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQqIpdBOg6I&NR=1
-
Sarah Palin is more qualified than both of them combined.
Her history is admittedly rather brief, but her accomplishments have been
noteworthy, and easily subjugate everything the other two have done. -
It's a sad fact that the people who have resolved to vote
for either McCain or Obama don't know much of anything about either one
of them. Their emotions have been systematically molded by the lamestream
media over the past few months -
I say "emotions" because none
of them has sufficient knowledge of either candidate upon which to base
a defendable "opinion." Opinions can't be formed without knowledge. -
"Choices" made on the basis of scant knowledge is guesswork
at best, emotional at worst. -
The bottom line is that we'll be in a heap of do-do with
either one of them in the Oval Office -
Now for some predictions,
admittedly speculative. -
If Obama loses, you can rest assured there will be demonstrations
in cities all across the country. -
You'll see window-breaking, looting,
attacks on small groups and individual white folks, and the race-whores
(Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Kwiasi Imfume, Louis Farakkan, John Conyers,
etc.) will be hogging every television camera they can find to publicly
claim "foul," "rigged voting," "disenfranchised"
voters, and the like. -
The police, and maybe the National Guard, will
be out in force beforehand because these results are both quietly expected
and presumed inevitable. -
The media will fan the flames.
-
They'll run specials (they're
getting them ready now) to remind viewers of the exploits of MLK, Rosa
Parks, Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and other lesser-known black leaders of
the past. -
Programs will harken back to the days of slavery (which existed
in most countries two centuries ago) and will shame and throw guilt trips
on the greedy white folk. We'll be reminded once again that our ancestors
"stole" the land from the native Indians. -
If Obama wins, then essentially the same thing will occur,
with a few twists here and there. -
The riots, the destruction, and the
attacks will be similar, though the motivation will be slightly different. -
Lower class and uneducated blacks will feel empowered by having a black
president and will want to publicly demonstrate to showcase their newly-acquired status
and influence. -
They'll feel "in charge" after hundreds of years
of oppression. -
They'll "take back" what they sense "well-to-do"
people - - especially elderly people - - have "stolen" from them
in the past, the things to which they feel "entitled." -
Add Sticky NoteSo, I
expect all manner or law enforcement agencies, National Guard, and
active duty armed forces are drilling and rehearsing as I write.- Beginning Oct 1, 2008: the 1st BCT of the 3rd ID, U.S. Army under North Com. - on 2008-09-25
-
Add Sticky NoteThe stage for justifying the president - - any president
- - to declare martial law is being set.- Pretext for martial law - on 2008-09-25
-
Should Bush elect to
make that declaration, he can set aside the election results for up to
two years (which can be extended) as I understand it. -
Social and racial unrest and upheaval could give Bush
the excuse on and after election day (he's still president until Jan 20,
2009 no matter how the election turns out) to declare martial law. -
Other
things could achieve the same ends before the election. For example, the
collapse of the dollar could do it, and that too is inevitable, it's
just a matter of time. -
The dollar can't last more than six months as things
are now. -
The laughable bailouts of AIG, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae,
Bear Stearns and other banking/financial entities have put the final nails
in the dollar's coffin. The collapse may come in the form of a stock market
crash or it can come in other ways. -
Should the financial collapse occur before the election,
der Fuhrer Bush can declare martial law and suspend all elections, again
for up to two years which is extendable. -
Meanwhile, the dollar will be
declared worthless and the new Amero will be put into circulation. -
The supply
of Ameros has been printed and the coins minted for more than two
years now. It's warehoused and ready to go. -
What Federal Reserve Notes
folks have now can be stashed away with the Confederate dollars a lot of
people were stuck with after the Civil War. -
Borders between the U.S. and Mexico, and between the U.S.
and Canada, will cease to exist. There will be no more "illegal immigration,"
as individual movement within the North American continent will be
possible, though the people may well be restricted to "sectors"
to which we'll all be assigned. -
Everyone will be declared "North
American citizens" and "U.S. Persons," "Mexican Persons,"
and "Canadian Persons" within the North American Union. -
Many of the laws already on the books are patently
unconstitutional, but they are laws and the enforcers will cram them down
our throats, plus the courts will ratify them without permitting Constitutional
challenges. -
Add Sticky NoteWhat must be understood is that we haven't had a Constitution
for 95 years now.- No Constitution for almost a century - on 2008-09-25
-
Anyone who believes that Obama or McCain would or could stop
it, or that the Democrats or Republicans in Congress would or could stop
it, or that the courts will dampen anything, is merely dreaming. -
They
are all owned and controlled by the international banking cartel which
has been calling the shots in this country for more than three-quarters
of a century already. -
Add Sticky NoteThe recent and ongoing bailouts are nothing but a massive
transfer of wealth and property from the people to the banking cartel.- NWO - on 2008-09-25
-
Anyone who believes otherwise either hasn't been paying attention or has
been looking in the wrong places. I cannot tell you precisely HOW or WHEN
all this will transpire, I can only assure you THAT these things will happen. -
To a point, I think all this could have been staved off
if the marketplace had been permitted to sort out the winners and losers. -
People and entities which mismanaged their operations should have been
allowed to fail outright. -
People who took mortgage loans they could not
pay should have been foreclosed upon and put out of the houses they had
no business occupying in the first place. -
All Congress would have had
to do was to suspend capital gains taxes for five or ten years and there
would have been businesses which would have bought up all the banks and
lending institutions, and qualified buyers in the housing market would
have bought the houses at depressed and distressed prices. -
Problems arise when government attempts to "influence"
or "control" the marketplace. -
Clinton and Gore, with the help
of Janet Reno, pressured lending institutions back in the 1990s to stop
"redlining," a codeword which meant "turning down loan applicants
who weren't creditworthy." -
They wanted to increase minority home
ownership, and that was a noble desire, but the government had no right
to influence how lenders assess the reliability and ability to pay of mortgage
applicants. When they did that, Katie bar the door, because people came
out of the woodwork and became (at least temporarily) "homeowners." -
Rentals exist simply because of market demand - - some
people who cannot buy homes HAVE to rent or live with family members.
Some people are irresponsible and are destined to rent all of their lives. -
The government cannot change that, and it should not try. Besides, that's
beyond the limited powers granted the government by the Constitution (which
the government claims we have, it just doesn't honor its provisions). -
Add Sticky NoteWe had an opportunity to derail the moneyed vultures who
seek to rule the world and own everything and everybody in it. His name
is Ron Paul. But the media froze him out, on orders from the banking cartel
(sometimes called "the men behind the curtain," "the insiders,"
"the illuminati," and so forth).- Ron Paul - on 2008-09-25
-
Another possibility is that a significant event (terrorist
attack) can occur before the election. If that should happen, it will
have been engineered and executed by elements of the United States Government
(CIA, FBI, NSA, etc.) -
and it will be blamed on somebody specific, perhaps
Iran. -
That could trigger not only martial law, it could resurrect the
draft and, within four to six months, we could have a military force 50%
larger than it is now. -
If der Fuhrer Bush chooses to allow the elections to go
on as scheduled, or if he suspends them for 90 days or so, then presidential
winds would shift and McCain would be hailed as the man for the "command"
job ahead (he's a military "hero" don't forget), while Obama's
inexperience would be exploited to the hilt, and successfully I suspect. -
I think even the 98% of blacks determined to vote for him would recognize
he isn't the man needed at the helm if we become entangled in more war. -
Be sure you have your cupboards
stocked with the fundamental staples, plus a few firearms and lots of ammunition.
When the crash comes, store shelves will be bare within 24 hours, and
there will be people attempting to come through your locked doors. -
Only God can help us now.

I was asked to write a follow up analysis to "The
Clintons' Contributions to the Iraq War", which showed the continuity
of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East spanning one Republican and two
Democratic presidential administrations and how they paved the way for
Bush II to invade Iraq. -
Add Sticky NoteSince McCain will not be our next president, this article
will strictly deal with an Obama presidency and how Obama will fit within
this continuity of US foreign policy.- Obama: the next president? - on 2008-09-25
-
By examining the Obama foreign policy team, during the
primaries, and in its latest version, announced in June of 2008 after he
became presumptive candidate; an assessment of the team's contributions
to American foreign policy through the decades will help us accurately
predict their future war plans. -
Add Sticky NoteAt least this is how things started, but as I went deeper
into the analysis, Brzezinski came to the forefront and Obama faded away.- Brzezinski - on 2008-09-25
-
As I was finishing this follow-up, I stumbled upon Webster G. Tarpley's
excellent work "The Postmodern Coup: Making of a Manchurian Candidate". -
Add Sticky Notethe Illinois Senator is a synthetic Manchurian candidate
who has been concocted over a period of two decades or more by a political
intelligence faction associated with the Zbigniew Brzezinski clanW.G. Tarpley,
Feb. 19, 2008- Obama groomed for the office over 2 decades - on 2008-09-25
-
From the little that I have read, if my analysis has
similarities with Mr. Tarpley's work, it should be looked at as an independent
confirmation from a geopolitical perspective into how Obama, through Brzezinski,
would operate on the international stage. -
Brzezinski and the Neocons
-
On my part, I could not complete this task without reading
"Second Chance", a book written by Zbigniew Brzezinski, Obama's
earliest advisor during the primaries that spanned the same period and
the same administrations I had already reviewed in relation to the Iraq
war. -
We also need to keep in mind that Brzezinski had written
"The Grand Chessboard American Primacy and its Geopolitical
Imperatives" an American foreign policy roadmap after the fall of
the Soviet Union. -
Add Sticky NoteAs a book, a "Second Chance" is the earliest
sales pitch for the Obama presidency.- Brzezinski's book a sales pitch for Obama - on 2008-09-25
-
First published in 2006, it talked
to the ruling elite and not to the people of this country; -
it examined
the performance of the three presidents since the fall of the Soviet Union,
Bush I, Clinton, and then Bush II. Professor Brzezinski gave the first
two mediocre grades and ended with an F for Jr., for lack of a lower grade. -
Add Sticky NoteFinally, he went on to describe the ideal future president; namely, Obama.
- Obama: ideal future president? - on 2008-09-25
-
If we first examine Brzezinski's other book, "The
Grand Chessboard", we quickly realize that the neocons hijacked Brzezinski's
work of the 90's in order to develop their own plans for Central Asia and
winging a plan for the Middle East through the invasion and occupation
of Iraq. -
The neocons, headed by Bush Jr., stole Brzezinski's well-thought
vision and turned it into a global quagmire. -
No wonder Brzezinski wants
a "Second Chance" to implement his plans, but can he turn back
the clock and erase eight years of what he considers a dismal failure,
and what are his odds for success? -
Add Sticky NoteIn order to establish American hegemony, Brzezinski and
the neocons are in agreement as to what is needed, a spectacular attack
on the United States,- 9/11?? - on 2008-09-25
- The Neocons and Brzezinski both desire a "spectacular attacK" on the USA - on 2008-09-25
-
without it, Brzezinski argues, there would be no
internal support within the United States for the sacrifices needed to
implement his plans for American supremacy. -
- In his book "The Grand
Chessboard: American Primacy and its Geostrategic Imperatives", Mr.
Brzezinski writes:
- Moreover, as America becomes an increasingly multi-cultural
society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign
policy issues, except in the circumstance of a truly massive and widely
perceived direct external threat. - In his book "The Grand
-
Similarly, The Project for a New American Century, a
Washington think tank that took the reins, as embodied by the neocons,
at the Pentagon and the Bush II White House, felt strongly about the need
for a "Spectacular Attack" that they openly conveyed their wish
in a September 2000 white paper, Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategy,
Forces and Resources for a New Century, thusly -
Furthermore, the process of transformation [rebuilding
America's Defenses], even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely
to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event like
a new Pearl Harbor. -
Add Sticky NoteThese expansionist plans that would affect Central Asia,
the Middle East, and Africa, and the military support they require, can
only be accelerated and such acceleration acceptable to the American public
if there were a new Pearl Harbor and the public felt a continuous outside
threat of unpredictable catastrophic attacks;- Diabolical and evil men - on 2008-09-25
-
that was Brzezinski's theory
that the neocons implemented by allowing the 9/11 attacks to take place
and through their declaration of the "war on terror"; -
the failure
was in the execution Brzezinski laments -
Alas, the foreign policy that the president forged [after
9/11] became outspokenly unilateralist ("if you are not with us, you
are against us"), demagogic, fear-driven as well as fear-inspiring,
and politically exploitative of the slogan "we are a nation at war". -
It ultimately plunged America into a solitary war of choice in Iraq.
-
Brzezinski obviously favors a more consultative and coalition-building
approach with the U.S. at the helm. -
Again I ask, can Brzezinski turn back
the clock and erase eight years of unilateralism? -
Brzezinski and the "old guard"
-
Add Sticky NoteBrzezinski felt that the only way he could turn back
the clock and restore some of the goodwill toward America that Bush II
totally squandered, was to present the world with a fresh face - not any
fresh face - but one that is an amalgam of JFK and Martin Luther King that
bridges the cultural divide, is appealing to a Muslim audience, but most
importantly, acceptable to the Europeans who are to be Brzezinski's cornerstone
of a global alliance of advanced, moderate, and wealthy nations. In "Second
Chance" he writes- A NWO with Old Rome's territory as the "cornerstone" of a "new" Rome; with the U.S. set as the head and Obama (Antichrist) leading this NWO. - on 2008-09-25
-
In brief, by selectively drawing the more advanced and
democratic non-European states into closer collaboration on global issues,
a dominant core of moderation, wealth, and democracy can continue to project
a constructive worldwide influence. -
As a close observer of Washington's machinations, Brzezinski
had a clear understanding of the competing currents at the highest levels
of American politics; -
Add Sticky Noteit is no longer a competition between Republicans
and Democrats with corporate giants and the industrial military complex
weighing in, it is a fight tooth and nail for the survival of the United
States between its self-appointed protectors, the "old guard",
Republican and Democrats allied on one side, and AIPAC and the neocons
on the other.- The battle lines within the U.S. are drawn up like this... - on 2008-09-25
-
The consensus among the "old guard" that the
Bush II presidency was out of control came toward the end of his first
term, they were probably all wishing he would not get re-elected. -
Once re-elected, they fired a bi-partisan first shot
across the bow in the form of The Iraq Study Group (ISG), formed to independently
evaluate conditions in Iraq. -
The ISG, led by James Baker, a Bush family
friend, and Lee Hamilton was critical of the conduct of the war in Iraq
and favored phased withdrawal and dialogue with Iran and Syria. -
Shortly before the ISG released its report, a Republican
member, Robert Gates, resigned due to his nomination for Secretary of Defense,
and it is presumed that Robert Gates shares the ISG's recommendations and
was most likely forced on Bush by the "old guard" as their ambassador
in Bush II's court. -
Other than Mr. Gates, Admiral Fallon was assigned to
replace General Abizaid as head of Central Command whose area of operation
includes Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan. -
Add Sticky NoteAdmiral Fallon can be single handedly
credited for delaying an attack on Iran, not just by publicly opposing
it, but by bringing the issue to the forefront and into the public debate.- Admiral Fallon - on 2008-09-25
-
Add Sticky NoteAlso, shortly after that, Admiral Mullen ascended to
the highest military position at the Pentagon as the Chairman of the Joint
Chiefs of Staff.- Admiral Mullen - on 2008-09-25
-
It is no coincidence that Admiralty was suddenly at the
helm, no pun intended. -
The Pentagon needed a steady hand and Admirals tend
to be more deliberative, have a better grasp of world affairs, and are
the ones who could rein in the cowboy mentality pervasive in the other
services. -
One would think that by now the writing is on the wall:
the neocons and their brand of governance was no longer welcome. However,
the neocons know all too well that, once out of the White House, it is
going to be very difficult for them to get back in. -
The stakes are very high, the neocons and the "old
guard" with their respective allies are engaged in the most vicious
fight between two competing currents within government and is the reason
why foreign policy positions seem disjointed until we divide them into
two different categories. -
Add Sticky NoteThe first one under the control of the "old guard"
through Robert Gates at the Pentagon; setting the ground for the Obama
presidency, while the other is under the control of the neocons, lead by
Dick Cheney and company;- The two different policy factions within the U.S. Government - on 2008-09-25
-
Bush II is nothing but a stooge flailing in the
wind and what he says and does is more like a weathervane indicating which
faction has more control at that instant. -
Add Sticky NoteWhat is under the control of Robert Gates is direct military
involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan and we see a shift there that emphasizes
troop reduction in Iraq and an increase in Afghanistan.- Robert Gates and the "Old Guard" Republican and Democrats' side - on 2008-09-25
-
Add Sticky NoteIf we add to that
the many meetings on US aircraft carriers in the Arabian Sea between admirals
and the Pakistani military, we know that Obama's war focus is not just
campaign rhetoric; it is a full blown war in that region. We even hear
Obama insinuating the draft in recent speeches.- Obama's intent of full blown war - on 2008-09-25
-
Add Sticky NoteOn the other hand, the disruptive activities of the neocons,
who still yield significant control through Dick Cheney are designed to
help McCain in the short run, during the elections,- The Neocon side via Dick Cheney - on 2008-09-25
-
and if McCain fails
to secure the presidency, would create new international realities, neo-realities,
that undermines the plans of the "old guard", potentially set
them up to fail, and keep a back door open for the return of the neocons
in four years. -
Examples of these disruptive activities would be:
-
The creation of the Georgia situation and the re-activation
of the cold war with Russia. -
Keeping unauthorized channels open such as the contacts
between the US ambassador to the UN, Zalmay Khalizad, a neocon protégé,
and Asif Ali Zardari, the widower of Benazir Bhutto and newly elected president
of Pakistan. -
The attempted white coup in Turkey, a stable Islamic
democracy and a key country to implementing American diplomacy in Central
Asia; by trying to shut down its ruling party and bringing the military
back in control, the neocons would have a partner known to be more interested
in war to justify its existence. -
The picture is not very pretty internationally; it has
actually been very ugly for a long time and is currently getting uglier
on the Euro-Russian front. -
The "old guard" clearly have to deal
with these neo-realities once Obama is in office. -
Brzezinski the Puppet Master
-
Leading those who are helping Obama deal with these issues
is Brzezinski, who has chosen to work in the shadows like a true puppet
master, and his foreign policy team that he announced in June of 2008,
shortly after he became the presumptive nominee. -
Brzenzinski's intellect can deal with any adversity and
he probably welcomes them as challenging and fun. -
The rest of the Obama
team is understandably tapped from the last democratic administration,
Bill Clinton's, with extensive hands-on experience in foreign policy, nuclear
proliferation, defense and weapons systems, etc -
The most puzzling were the latest additions shortly after
he defeated Hillary Clinton; -
Hillary's heavy weight, Madeleine Albright,
the one responsible for paving the way for Bush II to invade Iraq, jumped
ship and joined the Obama team, so did Lee Hamilton, a leading member of
the Iraq Study Group that was so critical of the Bush II Iraq policies,
and, a leading member of the white-wash 9/11 commission whose report left
so many questions unanswered and failed to address potential complicity
of the White House. -
This expanded advisory is quite large, too large to lead
and may be even too large to reach a policy consensus. It is more like
recycled gravitas that would help shore up Obama's perceived inexperience
and to help calm down a jittery "old guard". -
Still, the combined experience of the final condensed
version, the executives of foreign policy in the Obama White house, would
be coming entirely from the Clinton presidency, the presidency that picked
up where Bush I left, paved the way for the Bush II's war in Iraq, and
would have to pick up now where Bush II left and deal with his neo-realities
strictly through the Brzezinski perspective. -
But could this "Brzezinski
team" turn back the clock and what does turning back the clock mean? -
A turning of the clock should be anchored in a watershed
moment in American history, 9/11; it is the moment where the entire world
was full of goodwill toward the US. -
Add Sticky NoteA similar event or conditions would
need to be created in order to provide the optimum conditions for Brzezinski's
"Second Chance" for American hegemony.- Another 9/11 spectacular? - on 2008-09-25
-
Is it sufficient for Brzezinski to introduce a new face,
a half-white, half-black, half-Christian, half-Muslim, to regain this worldwide
goodwill that he needs? Or would a savvy world population see it for what
it really is; a Sarah Palin like maneuver that is pandering to a specific
crowd, albeit larger? -
Brzezinski, Unplugged
-
The answer is an unequivocal no; the clock could not
be turned back. -
Add Sticky NoteWhat Brzezinski knows too well and purposely failed to
tell us in "Second Chance" is the true damage Bush II inflicted
on America's standing in the world.- Little Boy Destroy - on 2008-09-25
-
What Bush II did is irreparable; he stripped the US of
its mask, America is now playing geopolitical poker with an open hand,
its worldwide plans clear enough that its adversaries, big and small, are
always a few steps ahead of it. -
It is true of Hizballah, the neocons' nemisis
in Lebanon, Al-Sadr in Iraq, Ahmadi Najad in Iran, and Putin of Russia;
all have reacted to US sponsored actions in ways unanticipated by Bush
II. -
Nevertheless, whatever the outcome (mostly failures)
of a Bush sponsored action is, new parameters and new realities are created. -
Add Sticky NoteAs two of the most important areas under a president's watch, war effort
and the economy, reach catastrophic failure, World War III can be seen
as the natural progression of the policies that got us there, and may become
the new savior reality in the twisted minds of the neocons if McCain is
elected.- WWIII - on 2008-09-25
-
The stakes are way too high and the risks associated
with a McCain presidency are intolerable to the "old guard"; -
McCain can no longer enjoy the protection of his family's long military
heritage. -
Add Sticky NoteThe October surprise will be the airing of McCain's true Vietnam
record. According to Colonel Earl Hopper, a thirty-year intelligence veteran
who had served in Korea and Vietnam, McCain was worse than a collaborator,
he was a traitor- John McCain: a traitor? - on 2008-09-25
-
McCain, for what he did while he was in captivity, was
a traitor. -
Add Sticky NoteBecause he gave information to the enemy, classified, military
information to the enemy, which caused the deaths of many of his fellow
aviators that came in behind him The result of this, according to the information
that came out later on, in intelligence, we started losing 60% more aircraft
and more men than we had previously.- The results of McCain giving the North Vietnamese classified info? - on 2008-09-25
-
I doubt very much that a POW yellow canary could ever
become our president. -
Brzezinski's perceived "Second Chance"
-
Add Sticky NoteIn the absence of goodwill from the world, the only tools
Bush II is leaving his successor are: brute force, intimidation, bribary,
and coercion; these are the tools Obama and Brzezinski will instantaneously
inherit.- George Bush's political legacy - on 2008-09-25
-
Add Sticky NoteWhatever bump in the level of goodwill a newly elected
Obama will receive will quickly erode unless Brzezinski can capitalize
on a Bush II neo-reality and convert it into a rallying call not too different
from what 9/11 was; that is where Pakistan comes in.- Pakistan in the mix to redeem America from Bush's foreign policy mistakes. - on 2008-09-25
-
Add Sticky NoteIn "The Mass Killing of the Good Options" I
discuss the peace conference in Annapolis between Palestinians and Israelis
from a fairly unique perspective, I describe how the "good options"
are falling one by one to Bush II's policies to the point of extinction,
and thereby transforming the Greater Middle East into a powder keg with
Pakistan as its fuse.- Pakistan, the fuse in a Middle East "powderkeg" - on 2008-09-25
-
Obama is still clinging to 9/11 and describes the war
in Afghanistan as the "just war", and thinks of Pakistan, the
fuse, as the source of the problem. -
He is a proponent of pursuing the Taliban
across the Pakistani-Afghani borders and engaging them in Pakistan with
or without the consent of Pakistani authorities. -
Many analysts in the US see that as a destabilizing move
of the Pakistani government and military; it might even plunge Pakistan
into its own civil war and even partition. -
Add Sticky NoteThe instability in Pakistan would quickly spread
across the border into Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Eastern Turkey, Egypt,
Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, and spread westward to Europe's backdoors; Algeria
and Morocco.- The effect of destabilizing Pakistan - on 2008-09-25
-
The negative impact of destabilizing Pakistan will not
be limited to its borders. -
These countries, whose majority share borders, is a contiguous
swath of land that is very close to Europe and whose population is heavily
represented within the European immigrant community; a swath of land where
militant Islam roams unchecked and threatening. -
Add Sticky NoteIt would be the equivalent of 9/11 as it brings together
in a tight alliance a panicky Europe, America, and the rest of Brzezinski's
civilized world, in an atmosphere similar to that of the cold war, but
this time in a struggle against militant Islam;- This is the backdrop and stage of the Antichrist? And might he be? Some seriously believe it to be Obama. - on 2008-09-25
-
what Bush Jr. failed to
achieve in eight years, Brzezinski will have to make happen within six
months of the Obama presidency before the little bump in goodwill fades
away and before anyone wises up to their plans. -
The Georgia situation, which is strictly a neocon creation,
will be allowed to cool down and Russia will be somehow rewarded with an
apology for the inconvenience. -
Bush II used 9/11 to launch "two" criminal
wars, Obama acknowledges only one, the Iraq war, not as criminal but as
a war of choice, and still clings to the war in Afghanistan as the "just
war"; -
Add Sticky Notethe Obama presidency will start with a lie, nine months sooner
than Bush II, and his "just war" will expand and unjustly kill
more innocent civilians and unsuspecting US soldiers doing their duty.- Obama's war to begin with a lie and greater destruction the fruits of it. - on 2008-09-25
-
To understand the extent of the criminality of the war
in Afghanistan, you might want to read "The Crime Behind the Criminal
Wars!". -
Obama and Biden cannot deny knowledge of how criminal that
war is. -
Add Sticky NoteAs a member of Senate Judiciary Committee, Biden received, in early
2006, detailed information about the crimes committed by Bush in preparation
for and during the Afghanistan war, which include high treason, high crime
against humanity, and murder of both US and foreign citizens.- The treason and high crimes behind the Afghan war and VP candidate Joe Biden's accessory part in it. - on 2008-09-25
-
- If Obama and Biden are sincere about prosecuting crimes
committed by the Bush administration as they recently expressed,
- "If there has been a basis upon which you can pursue
someone for a criminal violation, they will be pursued," Biden, The
Guardian, Sept. 4, 2008
- they should have prosecuted the crimes committed by George
W. Bush in the Afghanistan war while they were in the senate, and certainly
if elected, they should declare the Afghanistan war a criminal war and
refrain from using it as a launching pad for Brzezinski's vision; - If Obama and Biden are sincere about prosecuting crimes
-
that
is the only chance, last chance, for the US to get it right and recapture,
on solid footing, the goodwill Bush II so frivolously squandered. -
As president, McCain will more than likely continue Bush
II's policies with World War III as their natural progression. -
Add Sticky NoteAn Obama presidency, as I see it now, will not be a presidency
of peace; it will be a presidency of wars sold as "just wars"
of necessity in the Greater Middle East.- Obama presidency will mean wars and more wars, sold to us under a lie, involving the greater Middle East. Biblically, is this not what is prophesied about the End Time and the "man of sin?" - on 2008-09-25

difference is in the execution.

Treasury Seeks Asset-Buying Power Unchecked by Courts (Update2)

-
Sept. 21 (Bloomberg) -- The Bush administration sought
unchecked power from Congress to buy $700 billion in bad
mortgage investments from financial companies in what would be
an unprecedented government intrusion into the markets. -
Through his plan, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson aims to
avert a credit freeze that would bring the financial system and
the world's largest economy to a standstill. -
Add Sticky NoteThe bill would
prevent courts from reviewing actions taken under its authority.- No legal challenges now to what Paulson desires in bailing out his Bankster/Gangster buddies. - on 2008-09-21
-
Add Sticky Note``He's asking for a huge amount of power,'' said Nouriel
Roubini, an economist at New York University. ``He's saying,
`Trust me, I'm going to do it right if you give me absolute
control.' This is not a monarchy.''- Secretary Paulson's gambit - on 2008-09-21
-
As congressional aides and officials scrutinized the
proposal, the Treasury late yesterday clarified the types of
assets it would purchase. -
Paulson would have authority to buy
home loans, mortgage-backed securities, commercial mortgage-
related assets and, after consultation with the Federal Reserve
chairman, ``other assets, as deemed necessary to effectively
stabilize financial markets,'' the Treasury said in a statement. -
Add Sticky NoteThe Treasury would also have discretion, after discussions
with the Fed, to make non-U.S. financial institutions eligible
under the program.- In order to increase the pressure of sucking the USA into their Luciferian NWO feet first! - on 2008-09-21
-
The plan would raise the ceiling on the national debt and
spend as much as the combined annual budgets of the Departments
of Defense, Education and Health and Human Services. -
Add Sticky NotePaulson is
asking for the power to hire asset managers and award contracts
to private companies.- 21st century version of the "Spoils System" - on 2008-09-21
-
Most provisions of the proposal expire
after two years from the date of enactment. -
Markets `Fragile'
-
Paulson spent the morning today appearing on the Sunday
television talk shows to build public support for his plan. -
He
urged quick approval by Congress, saying financial markets are
``fragile.'' While the plan should have ``mortgage relief
components,'' he suggested legislative changes should be kept to
a minimum.
``We want this to be clean, we want this to be quick,''
Paulson said on Fox News Sunday. -
Add Sticky NoteSpeaking on NBC's ``Meet the Press, he said: ``This is not
a position where I like to see the taxpayer, but it is far
better than the alternative.''- Asshole! - on 2008-09-21
-
He added that assets bought by
the Treasury would later be sold, recovering some money for the
government. -
A failure by the government to support the U.S. financial
system could lead to ``a depression,'' Senator Charles Schumer,
a New York Democrat told reporters yesterday. ``To do nothing is
to risk the kind of economic downturn this country hasn't seen
in 60 years.'' -
Buyer of Last Resort
-
The Treasury is seeking authority to step in as buyer of
last resort for mortgage-linked assets that few other financial
institutions in the world want to buy, following government
takeovers of mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and
insurer American International Group Inc. -
``Democrats will work with the administration to ensure
that our response to events in the financial markets is swift,''
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a statement. -
Add Sticky NoteThe majority party will seek to reduce mortgage
foreclosures and create ``fast-track authority'' for an overhaul
of financial regulation, Pelosi said.- Sure they will, Hag! - on 2008-09-21
-
Add Sticky NoteDemocrats will ensure
``the government is accountable to the taxpayers in any future
actions under this broad grant of authority, implementing strong
oversight mechanisms.''- Sure they will..just like prior to November 2006, Democrats were going to bring our troops home from Iraq! - on 2008-09-21
-
The proposal will include curbs on executive pay for the
companies whose assets the government will be buying, Steve
Adamske, a spokesman for Representative Barney Frank, said
yesterday in an interview. -
Preventing Foreclosures
-
Democrats also will include a plan to stem foreclosures,
which may involve tapping the loan-modification abilities of the
Federal Housing Administration, the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corp., and Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, Adamske said. -
Frank, a
Democrat from Massachusetts, is chairman of the House Financial
Services Committee. -
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said that while he has
misgivings about the rescue plan, ``the consequences of inaction
could be catastrophic.'' -
``While the Bush proposal raises some serious issues, we
need to resolve them quickly,'' he said yesterday in a
statement. ``I am confident that, working together, we will.'' -
House minority leader John Boehner, an Ohio Republican,
said yesterday he is reviewing the proposal but didn't say
whether he was inclined to support it. -
Add Sticky Note``The American people are furious that we're in this
situation, and so am I,'' Boehner said in a statement. ``We need
to do everything possible to protect the taxpayers from the
consequences of a broken Washington.''- A "broken Washington" is an understatement, Boner! - on 2008-09-21
-
Protection for Taxpayers
-
Congress, which may pass legislation as soon as Sept. 26,
needs to ``make sure there are protections built in for
taxpayers,'' said Schumer, a New York Democrat on the banking
committee. -
Lawmakers should ensure ``taxpayers who gave the
money will be put ahead of the stockholders, bondholders and
others.'' -
Yesterday on Capitol Hill, legislative aides wearing polo
shirts and jeans instead of their usual business suits filed
into the House Financial Services Committee hearing room to
question Treasury officials -
including David Nason, assistant
secretary for financial institutions, and Neel Kashkari, a
senior adviser to Paulson and former investment banker at
Goldman Sachs Group Inc., where the Treasury secretary was
previously chief executive officer. -
Paulson is seeking an expansion of federal influence over
markets that hasn't been seen since the Great Depression, said
Charles Geisst, author of ``100 Years of Wall Street'' and a
finance professor at Manhattan College in New York. -
President George W. Bush said he called leaders in both
houses of Congress and ``found a common understanding of how
severe the problem is and how necessary it is to get something
done quickly.'' -
Add Sticky Note``This is going to be a big package because it's a big
problem,'' Bush said following a meeting with Colombian
President Alvaro Uribe at the White House. ``We need to get this
done quickly, and the cleaner the better.''- When has anything in Chimpy's life not been a "big problem" and in which others had to bail his ass out? - on 2008-09-21
-
Add Sticky NoteDemocratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said in a
radio address that he ``fully supports'' Paulson and Fed
Chairman Ben S. Bernanke's efforts to stabilize the financial
system. The plan, however, should benefit both main street and
Wall Street, he said.- And here is another lieing, two faced asshole who is has his lips sewn to the Bankster-Gangster butt cheeks! - on 2008-09-21
-
McCain Comments
-
Republican Presidential nominee John McCain ``looks
forward'' to reviewing the proposal while focusing at least in
part on ``minimizing the burden on the taxpayer,'' said Jill
Hazelbaker, communications director for the McCain campaign. -
The ban on legal challenges of actions by Treasury is
``distasteful, it's unfortunate and it's bad precedent, but this
is an emergency and you have to act,'' said Jerry Markham, a law
professor at Florida State University and author of ``A
Financial History of the United States.'' -
``What you don't want happen is to have lawsuits that will
slow things down and cause problems,'' he said. -
The proposal would raise the nation's debt ceiling to
$11.315 trillion from $10.615 trillion and require the Treasury
secretary to report back to Congress three months after Treasury
first uses its new powers, and then semiannually after that. -
Paulson would gain discretion to act as he ``deems
necessary'' to hire people, enter into contracts and issue
regulations related to a revival of U.S. mortgage finance,
according to a three-page proposal. -
The Treasury would ``take
into consideration'' protecting taxpayers and promoting market
stability. -
Reverse Auctions
-
The Treasury may hire managers to purchase the assets
through so-called reverse auctions, seeking the lowest prices,
Treasury said yesterday. -
The document specifies that Treasury
may buy only assets issued or originated on or before Sept. 17. -
The House will pass legislation to implement the plan by
the end of this week, and the Senate will act soon after, Frank
said on Sept. 19 in an interview on Bloomberg Television's
``Political Capital with Al Hunt.'' -
Bush said yesterday he's unconcerned that the price tag on
the package may seem high. -
``I'm sure there are some of my friends out there that are
saying, `I thought this guy was a market guy, what happened to
him?''' the president said. ``My first instinct was to let the
market work, until I realized, while being briefed by the
experts, how significant this problem became.'' -
Add Sticky NoteThe Bush administration seeks ``dictatorial power
unreviewable by the third branch of government, the courts, to
try to resolve the crisis,'' said Frank Razzano, a former
assistant chief trial attorney at the Securities and Exchange
Commission now at Pepper Hamilton LLP in Washington. ``We are
taking a huge leap of faith.''- Which is what the Luciferian Globalist assholes in both political parties have been after and we can include in these adjectives...TRAITORS! - on 2008-09-21

Bush canceled fundraisers in Alabama and Florida on Thursday, staying in Washington to monitor the markets as his party and his political opponents placed the blame for the ongoing economic distress at his feet.
-
Add Sticky NoteHe did offer a brief statement to assure Americans he shares their concerns about the economy and that his administration is keeping an eye on the markets.
- Sure he does... - on 2008-09-19
-
Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.) said the White House should be playing more offense, providing Capitol Hill Republicans with a wish list and pinning inaction on Democrats.
-
“Just speaking from a Republican perspective, the administration ought to put together a package … and send it up here and say, ‘Congress, I need this,’ “ Davis said. “They should have done this on energy.
-
They should do this now, let the public know they’re in control and that Congress is controlled by Democrats.
-
Either ask them to be a partner or whatever instead of playing defense, which is what I think they are going to end up doing — which doesn’t help the team.”
-
On the campaign trail, McCain came out swinging as he called for more regulation, saying that he has warned for years about the coming of the current economic crises.
-
McCain’s statement that he would fire Cox was initially met by some confusion, as the president nominates the SEC chairman but does not have the power to fire him.
-
McCain senior adviser Douglas Holtz-Eakin said on a conference call Thursday that McCain would set “a standard for performance,” and if that was not met, then he would ask “for the resignation of a chairman who had this kind of trouble on his watch.”
-
Cox was confirmed unanimously by the Senate in 2005, and the White House said in an e-mail to The Hill on Thursday afternoon that the president continues to have full confidence in the SEC chairman.
-
Polls that showed McCain enjoying a marginal lead over Democratic rival Barack Obama, thanks in part to the traditional convention bump and McCain’s selection of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, have receded amid the turmoil on Wall Street.
-
Both national and battleground polls show the race falling back into a dead heat.
-
Obama continued to attack McCain and Bush, lumping the two men and their economic policies together even as McCain sought to put more daylight between himself and the beleaguered commander in chief.
-
“For eight years, Bush-McCain economic policies have favored reckless deregulation and huge tax loopholes for big corporations,” Obama said in an e-mail to supporters. “Now, as these corporations crumble, American taxpayers are facing costly bailouts. More of the same failed ideas are not going to solve our economic problems.”

For those of you that still don’t know, Bill White is the self appointed leader of the American National Socialist Workers Party, an ADL/SPLC front used by the Zionists to incite violence against minorities.
-
I’ve written about this fake Nazi before, in an article entitled Alleged White Supremacist Bill White‘s Kosher Attack on Ron Paul,” in which I detail Bill White’s past, he grew up in a Jewish neighborhood and attended predominantly Jewish schools.
-
I cite facts that the MSM, who loves to quote him, which ought to be a dead giveaway, aren’t going to mention, like his close ties with known FBI agent provocateurs like David Gletty,
-
who while working directly with the FBI formed a “neo-Nazi march through the streets of Parramore that stirred up anxiety in Orlando's black community and fears of racial unrest that triggered a major police mobilization.”
-
Bill White isn’t Zionism’s first plant in the White nationalist community, there are others too, Hal Turner being another obvious example.
-
As I pointed out in “Alleged White Supremacist Bill White‘s Kosher Attack on Ron Paul,” neither Bill White, or Hal Turner are considered legitimate by real White nationalists, who are as a rule, more than aware of the duplicity of both men.
-
So far as I can tell, the only groups lending White and Turner any credibility are the mainstream Zionist media, the ADL, the SPLC, Alex Linder’s VNN, and to a slightly lesser extent, the FBI.
-
Bill White’s only mission is to be as provocative and inflammatory as possible, John de Nugent, a true White nationalist leader sums up White’s primary purpose nicely, “This man's mission is to discredit this Cause [White nationalism] and cause its ultimate disaster.”
-
de Nugent, a descendant of honorable Normans, sent me an email earlier today, revealing Bill White’s newest mission, to stir up hatred against Whites that seek only to rally other Whites around the idea that most White folk are already somewhat aware of, how we’ve been made second class citizens in our own country through the alleged virtues of “multiculturalism, tolerance and diversity.”
-
It seems that Bill White, fake, fraud, liar extraordinaire, and the very personification of a pseudo-Nazi, is openly advocating the assassination of Barack Obama, which would undoubtedly bring down a tremendous amount of heat on the White nationalist movement, something that it doesn’t want nor need.
-
Many White nationalists are already under the impression that Obama might be assassinated before or after the election and that they might be set up as the patsy.
-
The truth is, White nationalists don’t really care whether or not Obama is elected, in some cases they think it might ultimately help their cause, but with philo-Semite John McCain as the only alternative, what’s the point, Israel will get what it wants either way, and that’s the only thing that really matters to White nationalists, shutting down the disease of Zionism.
-
You may not like White nationalism, but you can be sure it isn’t composed of the moronic hillbilly’s that the Jewish Jerry Springer would like you to believe it is - they are fully aware of the difference between the disease and its symptoms.
-
In any case, de Nugent notes that “Bill White is almost openly advocating Obama's murder just with th[e] cover [of his magazine].
-
De Nugent also accurately notes that “This is the same Bill White who pathologically attacks every activist in the movement, lied about Joe Fields and lied about Ron Paul,” which is something I too emphasized in the article, “Alleged White Supremacist Bill White‘s Kosher Attack on Ron Paul.”
-
“It’s “Win-win for the Jewish Zionists,” writes de Nugent, “they get rid of [Ron Paul] and get McCain, whom they want; they get race riots and then hate-speech laws and perhaps more gun control. Perhaps even the gulag and martial law!!!”
-
In the above sentence de Nugent correctly notes the very purpose of William Weiss AKA Bill White, to incite racial hatred which will create destabilization, which can then be used as an excuse for the Zio-American entity to institute Martial Law, and take away any of the remaining rights the misnamed “Patriot Act” hasn’t already.
-
As mentioned earlier, Bill White isn’t the first Zionist agent to infiltrate the White nationalist movement, Frank Collin [nee Frank Cohen] did it back in the 1970s, stirring up racial hatred along the way, and setting the stage for the imposition of the holocaust lore into every American home and classroom.
-
Read about Frank Cohen here, he’s not something I dreamed up, he’s quite real and did exactly what he’s accused of in this photo essay. He was also convicted of child molestation and did in fact serve time for it.
-
Bill White recently wrote in an article about Obama entitled The Jews Nigger,” the following quote, which when coupled with his magazine cover ought to be seen for what it truly is, naked provocation:
“White people must deny him the presidency, as a radical he admires might say, "by any means necessary". -
If I were Barack Obama I’d be a little concerned at this point, not because of the nonexistent threat represented by White nationalists, but because a known ADL/SPLC agent is calling for his assassination, and the Zionists have the power, money, access, and wherewithal to carry out an assassination, and most importantly, they have the motive, set up White nationalism so that Zionism’s greatest and most tenacious enemy can be effectively silenced.
-
Bill White is NOT a real White nationalist leader, he’s a total and complete fraud, the only groups lending him any credibility as already cited above, are the ADL, SPLC, Alex Linder’s VNN and to a slightly lesser extent, the FBI.
-
In another article I wrote earlier this year about William Weiss entitled How big is Bill White’s American Nazi Party?” I proved that White’s membership in the ANSWP amounts to less than a half dozen people nationwide.
-
This being the case,, who’s paying for the professional quality of White’s ANSWP magazine? It certainly isn’t his members.
-
In the above article I wrote that White’s ultimate objective was:
“To cast White people and White interests in as negative a light as possible. -
Bill White is an Illusionist, one of his greatest illusions is promoting the idea that he has any members or supporters at all.
-
He‘s compelled to do this because he must explain how it is that he and his organization are financed; he can’t just come out and say that he receives a monthly check from the ADL and SPLC can he?”
-
Another example of Bill White’s function and purpose can be seen in the below paragraph, which details how Bill White’s threats enabled another tool of the Zionists to escape the scrutiny he so desperately deserved:
-
“When Leonard Pitts, a no-good affirmative action appointee of a journalist for the Miami Herald told Whites collectively, to “cry him a river,” over the growing concern that black on White crime had reached epidemic proportions in this country, I wrote several articles and supported a petition attempting to draw as much attention as possible to Pitts and what he wrote;
-
Bill White, the neo-Nazi threatened him and thus enabled Pitts to cry racism and victim simultaneously, taking the heat off him for what he actually wrote, which was that he couldn’t care less about the reality of this phenomenon [black on white crime], and that white’s could “cry him a river.”
-
I sought to hold Pitts’ responsible for what he said, just as Don Imus was, but Bill White sought, and successfully I might add, to allow Pitts to escape the condemnation his own words deserved.
-
It’s all Zionist lies folks, there aren’t any real Klan leaders, Nazis, or what have you that intend to assassinate Barack Obama, as I already stated above, these groups don’t see a dimes worth of difference between Obama and McCain, same ole, same ole.
-
Now, I might believe that an individual White nationalist or associated group would clip John McCain if Ron Paul were his running mate, hell, I might even have done such a thing myself, but John wisely selected another pro-Zionist whore in Sarah Palin, so once again, what’s the point?
-
Wake up America, you’re being taken for a ride!

-
Coming into the Republican convention last week, everyone was all worried about Hurricane Gustav ripping things up. But of course it has turned out to be Hurricane Sarah that's doing the damage.
-
Add Sticky NoteThe general line has been that Obama was too great and dignified for even our top professional comedians to find any good way to lampoon him.
- Oh..puh'leeze..!! - on 2008-09-11
-
She's destroying Obama, who was entirely ripe for the skewering.
-
But Sarah Palin poked a big hole in this gasbag with her stellar acceptance speech, and Obama's been her beyatch ever since.
-
You might partly consider this a sign of commander in chief McCain's expertise, his strategic skill in picking just the right weapon for his target.
-
Just a couple of particularly choice zings in her big convention speech delivered just the right way about mayors vs. community organizers and styrofoam Greek columns most particularly, and Obama's still flying randomly around the room a week later as the air escapes like a deflating balloon.
-
In any case, Obama is going down, and she's the one doing it to him.
-
So now Obama is clearly behind McCain for the first time in this campaign, and Obama and his minions are desperate to knock ol' girl down.
-
They haven't been able to lay a glove on her, so now Obama himself is descending from his Olympian perch to spend his precious limited campaign time attacking the other guy's veep.
-
But the change in altitude has caused Mr Cool and Collected, Mr Civil Politics to start melting down - and boy, oh boy, is it fun to watch.
-
Add Sticky NoteFor one thing, you'd think he'd have learned a lesson about condescending from the furor over his infamous remarks about "bitter" gun owners. Yet here he is this week at a big public campaign rally mocking the "moose hunter."
- He's too arrogant; too full of himself to rein in his mouth...or to stop and think before he speaks impromtu. Apparently Obama needs, as some have asserted, a teleprompter to navigate his speech. - on 2008-09-11
-
But when that plastic dashboard St. Obama melts down, it really starts to stink as it burns.
-
"You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig."
-
He's just gone out in front of a crowd calling Sarah Palin a pig.
-
Now of course this was not a reference to Sarah Palin. Just ask Barack. But of course her famous self-description is of being a pit bull with lipstick. No, not a pit bull says the refined gentleman - a pig with lipstick.

Obama's Poster Boys
- 28 more annotations...
-
-
One really has to wonder about how competent Barack Obama is in even being a United State's Senator when the poster boys he has chosen to attack Sarah Palin in Alaska are someone who just told the London Telgraph UK that John McCain's choice was wonderful, and, the other is a fired official who is a proven liar.
-
Mike Bull Wooten was married to Molly, the sister of Sarah Palin, and it did not go well.
-
There appears to be drinking, steroids, too much thinking he was Rambo living in Delaware where Beau Biden would cover up everything he did.
-
I post the following screen grabs from the official trooper files of Alaska investigating all of this which basically shows Mike Wooten a few years ago threatened to murder his father in law, tasered his step son with a training charge and poached a moose on his wife's license.
-
Wooten in the UK article stipulates he never threatened the father in law, but let us not be Obama cute here in, "No he did not threaten his father in law personally to murder him, but he did threaten to murder him before other people."
Little cute things like that remind one of Bill Clinton. -
All of that adds up to the fact that this guy might be a nice beer drinking buddy, but he doesn't belong around guns, your sister nor be employed by any government agency.
-
This brings the point to his boss who refused to fire Mike Wooten, but he himself did get fired for not following the Governor's orders in cutting the law enforcement budget.
-
Walt Monegan after being fired is the reason this entire process with Bull Wooten was picked up by Democrats in Alaska to smear Gov. Palin in July, just about the time her name was starting to circulate that she was on John McCain's real list for Vice Presidential running mates.
-
Monegan and Democrats in Alaska started this smear campaign then, but a big problem has occurred on the way to tar and feather factory. Monegan is getting caught lying.
-
Monegan spread rumors in his charges that Gov. Palin had only met with him 4 times in a year and a half.
State records though prove over two dozen meetings, phone calls, visits to the Governor's home and cabinet meetings with one on one conversations. -
There were 3 separate trips where Gov. Palin and Walt Monegan took together to rural Alaska where they spent the days seated together discussing issues.
Ooppss Walt. -
Other commissioners in Craig Campbell, Joe Schmidt, Click Bishop and John Katz all refuted Monegan's claims in stating the Governor was always immediate in email replies, accessible, 100% supportive, an excellent listener and communication was always complete even in busy schedules.
Ooppss Obama. -
Walt Monegan claims to Democratic senators in Alaska that Todd Palin was not to have met with him concerning Bull Wooten. The real events are set on the record by the Governor's security detail.
-
Special Security Agent for Gov. Palin, Bob Cockrell, was informed in a routine security review after the election by Todd Palin, of safety concerns they rightly had over Bull Wooten concerning the death threats to the Governor and her father with the taser incident.
-
Agent Cockrell directed Mr. Palin as was protocol to meet with Walt Monegan. His on the record statement in which he has served 6 Alaskan Governors, both Democrat and Republican pretty well explain everything.
-
Quote:
"It is standard protocol to ask every governor about any threats they perceive or have realized. I will not hesitate to set the record straight in answering these false allegations by former Commissioner Monegan."
Unquote. -
We might as well visit Bull Wooten in his quote to CNN to clear up his opinion of Gov. Palin now that the situation has cleared up for him.
Bull Wooten quote, " John McCain's choice of Gov Palin as his running mate was "absolutely wonderful for the state of Alaska". -
So in review, Barack Obama, his Alaskan smear Democrats, his female smear Democrats he is sending out to take on Gov. Sarah Palin, are defending someone who threatens to murder people while in a heated exchange fondling his state trooper firearm, tasers kids in training exercises and is a poacher.
-
When Bull Wooten is sobered up after a few years, not running around with lewd women and taking steroids though, he tells the world he is voting for Sarah Palin and John McCain and not Barack Obama.
-
But Walt Monegan who won't follow state budget cuts, keeps a substance abuse trooper on staff who poaches game, tasers children and threatens to murder people, is caught lying about the meetings he had with the Governor, is refuted by the Governor's staff as a liar and now is slammed by the head of Alaskan Security Service as being a liar......
-
Well, that is quite a pair of poster boys for the Obama machine to hang their smear campaign on against Sarah Palin.
-
One wonders just what it is with this Obama /Biden bunch in their decisions to slap women around using people who any sane person would fire.
I suppose that deserves further review too. -
Barack Obama in his first presidential decision picks Joe Biden, a lying, intellectual thieving thug.
-
John McCain in his first presidential decision picks Sarah Palin who is honest, a reformer and stood up to thugs and is loved by all in Alaska except Walt Monegan and a few Democrats, but is loved now too by her ex brother in law.
-
Barack Obama's first presidential action was to smear illegally Sarah Palin, her family and endanger her daughter's unborn child.
-
John McCain's first presidential action was to appear with Senator Obama as an America on the 9 11 site in New York honoring the dead.
-
Barack Obama's choice in people to surround himself with are liars and thugs like Walt Monegan.
John McCains choice in people are the American people. -
I know the poll numbers are skewed as polling questions always are in showing the race even, which means John McCain has a 10 point lead, but even at that I wonder how Barack Obama can must 18% of the voting public to prop up his numbers.
Perhaps the polls are counting all those dead people who vote for Democrats and Yosemite Sam cartoon characters.

Birth Certificate Found in Kenya. Citizen of Kenya and Indonesia. Hawaiian Certificate Forged.
-
On Aug. 21st attorney Philip J. Berg requested an injunction in Federal Court against the nomination of Barack Obama, citing evidence that candidate Barack Obama is not a US citizen, and "the obvious problems that will occur when the Republican Party raises these issues after Obama is nominated."
-
Berg argues that Barack Obama was born in Kenya in 1961 to an American woman, Stanley Ann Dunham, and a Kenyan man, Barack Hussein Obama Senior,
-
as reportedly shown by a birth certificate from Mombasa Maternity Hospital.
-
According to the law at that time, a parent could pass US citizenship on to a child born abroad if the parent was at least 19 years old. Obama's mother was only 18.
-
No hospital birth certificate has been produced to show Obama was born in Hawaii, only a certificate of birth registry after the fact, which forensics experts have denounced as a forgery.
-
Moreover, when Obama was six years old his mother remarried and moved with her husband to his country, Indonesia.
-
Indonesia does not allow dual nationality, so even had he been born in Hawaii, he would have lost his citizenship then.
-
Records indicate Obama was naturalized as an Indonesian citizen.
-
Even if Obama is able to provide a US birth certificate, a dozen more insurmountable scandals face this unelectable candidate, which the Republicans can hardly wait to unleash on him after he is nominated.
-
1. When Obama recently made an issue of the number of houses the McCains own, McCain shot back with much heavier artillery:
-
Obama's friend Rezko is a convicted felon, sitting in jail. Obama is the candidate of Chicago corruption. His other cronies Auchi and Alsammare are also convicted felons who have stolen hundreds of millions from the Iraqi Provisional authority and from the government in Illinois.
-
This has been detailed by investigative journalist Evelyn Pringle on opednews, and by Webster Tarpley in his forthcoming book, "Barack H. Obama: the Unauthorized Biography."
-
2. Obama has very close links to the convicted Weathermen terrorist bombers Bill Ayres and Bernardine Dohrn.
-
He shared board memberships with Ayres on the Woods Fund and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. This and most of the following scandals are detailed in Tarpley's "Obama - The Postmodern Coup: Making of a Manchurian Candidate," released in June.
-
3 Obama is very close to the racist demagogues Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Otis Moss III, Hopkins, Meeks, and Pfleger.
-
The Obama camp retaliated by arresting Sinclair in an enemies list operation by Beau Biden, son of veep candidate Joe Biden.
-
4 Obama has been accused in Federal Court of using crack cocaine by Larry Sinclair, along with gay sex.
-
5. The mysterious deaths of black gays in and around Wright's Church: Donald Young, Nate Spencer, Larry Bland could be linked to Obama.
-
6. Obama's relations to Chechen Terrorism through Ilyas Achmadov.
-
7. His Relations to CIA-controlled Palestinian factions Khalidi and Abu Nimah.
-
8. The mysterious deaths of key Clinton delegates and floor leaders just before the convention: Bill Gwatney and Tubbs Jones.
-
9. The alleged Michelle Obama Hate Whitey tape.
-
10. Two mysterious envelopes sent to McCain HQ with powder in them raised questions of what Obama's fanatical supporters may be capable of.
-
Then of course there is the problem that Obama is a very weak candidate as regards appeal across the spectrum.
-
In the primaries Obama was not able to carry any of the big Blue states that a Democrat has to win in the electoral college for the general election.
-
His attempt to appear populist fails since he is in fact the puppet of the right-wing Chicago School and revanchist Brzezinski faction.
-
Obama is not able to appeal to the electorate on the issues, only on his personality.
-
Instead of offering what the great majority of Americans want, peace abroad and fixing the economy at home, he will deliver increased austerity.
-
The war in Georgia shows that the post-9/11 era has now ended with a new cold war against Russia, inspired by Obama's guru Brzezinski.
-
As Tarpley points out, Obama has never won a real election contest; his way has always been smoothed by engineered scandals.
-
But this time the scandals are set to go the other way.
-
The Democrat National Committee has to be certified insane if they nominate Obama.
-
There is no way he can beat "war hero" McCain with a ton of dirty laundry like this around his neck.
-
And even that pales beside the blamage, the loss of face for the Democrats if they nominate a candidate who is not even a US citizen, thus giving the election by default to the Republicans.
-
That could be the final blow to what is left of the two-party system as we know it.
-
Oh, and you are right about Chicago politics. But Barack was not supposed to win the primary. The Chicago machine wanted another guy. Barack beat that machine, and he beat the Clinton machine, and he might actually beat the ruling class machine.

Good article and initial comment.
But I think the contrivance was a batttle between Romney and Clinton. They figured they could easily defeat Clinton and then install another puppet. -
But the American people can only be deceived just so much and McCain and Obama did a bit too much winning to hide. So they then decided to go ahead on McCain, who is also a Bush III who will protect the rights of the ruling class.
-
I think they then decided that they could use Barack to assure McCains win. Have Barack win the primary, then use the race card, or some baloney on Barack not being a citizen and then maybe the powers that be could actually get that 3rd Bush term.

If it proven he is not. He cannot represent the Americans because he is ineligible. What a shame? I was ready to vote for him after Pres. Clinton's speech endorsing him. It is back to my gut that he LIED. This is politics and it should be as biz as usual and we Americans pay for politicians playing games of our lives.
-
At least our politicians are US Citizen and not LIE about it. HE IS DEFINITELY DISQUALIFIED CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENCY. Save the best for last. Good Job!!!

I must agree with you wholeheartedly. The Obama/Biden ticket is already fraught with trouble. Wasn't our collective choice of President guided for us from the very beginning, however. Nothing new.
-
Georgetown History Professor (and CFR member) Carroll Quigley pointed out long ago that our U.S. political process is theater, is pure contrivance.
-
There is only an academic distinction between the two so-called political parties, Democrat / Republican, he said. Quigley noted that they intentionally strive to appear different from each other on "key issues" to effectively split America.
-
Its called controlled opposition. In reality, no matter which candidate is elected it is a false choice, because they are not two separate groups, but two sides of the same single coin.
-
The two party system does not exist outside of academia and the pop culture pablum shoved down your throat by major corporate media -
-
and both camps are corrupt in important ways.
-
The contrived differences conceal the private common roost. The policies that are undermining America, such as private control of our money supply and the Brzezinski style foreign policy you correctly referenced...
-
(you could also say CFR since they all are basically members and proponents, and the leaders of both parties hire extensively from their membership when appointing important cabinet and office administrators - zero difference here)
-
.. these over arching policies, related to our foreign entanglements and monetary policy - just 2 examples - are managed and maintained by both parties, on behalf of a corporate/state entity.
-
There is not a 2-party system in the U.S. Presidents promise panacea-like change - but no change occurs. They blame it on the other side, with a wink.
-
The point was to maintain the status quo, and maintain the illusion of tension between the parties. Corporate profits roll on; the American people are abused.
-
These political parties were infiltrated long ago. The two party system has been fake for a long time and our election process is an international joke (how many stolen elections before we get it?). We've been fooled again.
-
All we are watching is another phony election. Every four years, the public fails to recognize and learn from the lessons of the past.
-
Carroll Quigley suggested that it was a mistake of the political party thinkers to assume opposite, polarizing positions with respect to each other. He suggested, to more efficiently achieve policy unity, their true purpose, Democrats and Republicans should strive to be similar.
-
The public can then, as he put it, throw the rascals out with each election, without disrupting the management of corporate U.S.A - in other words, assuming similar positions on key issues would better preserve the careful and covert plans of the advisors and administrators, from Brzezinski to Zelikow, the unelected think tanks, the fifth branch of government.
-
Our tax dollars remain misappropriated. There remains no accountability. We continue to live with lies, distortions, and a hyper-reality unrecognized outside the U.S.
-
The executive grasps ever more power. Government remains infiltrated by parasitic worms like Zbig.
American's should be smarter.

David Edwards and Nick Juliano
Published: Friday August 15, 2008 -
Just so we're clear: Barack Obama is in fact not the Anti-Christ, sent here to feed on the souls of the innocent, resume Satan's reign over earth and bring about the apocalypse as foretold in Revelation.
-
Not. The. Anti-Christ.
-
That such a subject is even speculated about in any but the most backwards, unreconstructed segments of American society -- let alone on a 24-hour cable network -- is a testament (no pun intended) to the depths to which political debate has fallen.
-
But there was the caption on CNN Friday in big bold letters: "OBAMA THE ANTICHRIST?"
-
Apparently a not-insignificant number of Americans, after viewing John McCain's Web ad The One, with its Messianic overtones -- come away thinking that Barack Obama has been sent from Hell to Earth to turn its citizens against God.
-
For inspiration, some of these people seem to be drawing from the fictional Left Behind series, which posits a dystopian future where the Anti-Christ comes to Earth as a charismatic politician.
-
The book's author's, Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, have insisted they don't believe Obama is the Anti-Christ, although they can't resist taking a dig at the candidate in the process.
"I can see by the language he uses why people think he could be the antichrist," adds LaHaye, "but from my reading of scripture, he doesn't meet the criteria. There is no indication in the Bible that the antichrist will be an American."
-
McCain's campaign of course insists that convincing Evangelicals that Obama was the Anti-Christ was never their intention.
-
CNN notes that regardless of its intent, though, the ad seems to have spurred increased interest in the baseless speculation.
-
At least one entire blog is devoted to the question and a Google search for "Obama Antichrist" returns nearly 1 million results.

FAMILY RESEARCH COUNCIL
PUSHES PRO-ABORTION CANDIDATE -
By Mary Starrett

-
-
I
was interested to see how the Family Research
Council would respond to my asking why they’d invited Senators
Barack Obama and John McCain to their upcoming so-called “Values
Voter” Summit while snubbing Constitution Party presidential
candidate Chuck Baldwin. -
Baldwin, a
committed, pro-life, Christian pastor and talk show host (www.chuckbaldwinlive.com)
won the nomination of the Constitution Party, the nation’s largest
and fastest- growing third party at a national
convention where delegates overwhelmingly chose him over Ambassador
Alan Keyes. -
Baldwin has emerged as the ‘antidote’ for voters
who can no longer hold their noses and vote for the ‘lesser of
two evils’ in November. -
The
FRC’s Values Voters Summit, billed as the “largest gathering
of values voters from across the nation”, is sponsored by FRCAction,
the legislative arm of the Family Research Council headed by Tony Perkins,
and Focus on the Family, led by Dr. James Dobson -
(who has alternately
said he “will never vote for McCain” and recently that he
likely will vote for the man who spearheaded the most egregious assault
on the 1st Amendment in recent history- the McCain Feingold Campaign
Finance Reform Act, author John McCain). -
I
asked FRCAction why Chuck Baldwin couldn’t join in at the Summit,
since he is the only authentically pro-life, pro- 2nd Amendment , pro-Constitution,
pro-secure borders candidate from a FEC- recognized party who is running
for president. -
Apparently
the folks at the Family Research Council either had not done their research
or chose to ignore that one of the speakers they have headlining their
conference, Senator Barrack Obama, supported infanticide, and the other
speakers like Mitt Romney and John McCain are anything but representative
of pro-life “values” voters. -
I
jogged their memory a bit so they’d remember that Obama was against
the Born Alive
Infant Protection Act and the Induced Infant Liability Act, legislation
even the rabid pro-aborts at NARAL wouldn’t oppose. -
The bills
simply stated that babies surviving abortions shouldn’t be left
to die in soiled linen rooms at hospitals and that the compassionate
and yes, humane response- even in this culture of death we’ve
allowed through legalized abortion- would be to help those babies, not
finish them off by leaving them to die alone. -
The Christians at the Family Research Council think
that presidential candidate, not the pro-life pastor from Pensacola
should get front and center billing at a summit devoted to “values.” -
No,
Obama thought that infringed on a woman’s ‘right’
to snuff her child. -
I
also reminded the FRC that John McCain has supported federal funding
of embryo-destroying stem cell research. -
FRC’s website says this
about their position on the issue: “Family Research Council
opposes research that destroys, harms, or manipulates an embryonic human
being.” -
By
this point, I was thoroughly confused. -
Another
Values Voter Summit headline speaker is former Massachusetts Governor
Mitt Romney whose pro-abortion pedigree spans generations and whose
legacy includes taxpayer- funded abortions all around for the good women
in his state who might find themselves facing an untimely pregnancy. -
So
you can imagine how much more confused I became when I received this
reply from Ann Simmons at FRCAction saying: -
“Mary, as you know, FRC Action is focused on values issues-such
as marriage, abortion, and stem cell research-and our
stance is well-known throughout Washington, D.C. -
We are also a nonpartisan
organization that communicates these deeply-held values to all political
actors-regardless of party. (emphasis mine) -
We are
holding the Values Voter Summit from a position of confidence that FRC's
pro-life and pro-family work of 25 years has been done with both integrity
and success. -
We will never be persuaded to change those views,
but we believe that we can change the views of those who disagree with
us through engagement and action-and that we must try.” -
“
Integrity?”
Where
is the “integrity” in pre-selecting candidates- ignoring
some and pushing others with stances on issues diametrically opposed
to those FRC supposedly promotes? -
“Success?”
What
“success” can FRC or the ‘Christian Right’ in
general point to? Despite years of Republican control at the legislative
and executive levels, we are no better off than if liberal Democrats
had been in control this past decade. We have compromised while the
left has held fast; we have given in while the left has not. That, despite
millions poured into the coffers of groups such as the Family Research
Center and Focus on the Family. -
“Regardless of party?”
Unless,
of course, you’re a candidate from a solidly pro-life party such
as the FEC- recognized Constitution Party which is growing by leaps
and bounds all across the country. -
The
Family Research Council “tries” to change our political
landscape by inviting pro-aborts to speak at a summit on “values”
while ignoring the only candidate who’d actually work to change
the horrors this country now condones, regardless of party? -
Simmons
went on to explain why Chuck Baldwin was excluded from the summit by
making this mind-numbingly contradictory statement “(I)n order
to preserve our non-profit tax status, it is essential that FRC Action
treat candidates equitably in inviting them to speak-both this year
and in the future..” -
Astounding.
-
FRC
is apparently not concerned enough about its tax-exempt status to include
all the candidates. -
The organization furthers the myth
that our Republic was designed for a two party system. The FRC refuses
to acknowledge there’s not a dime’s worth of difference
between the two parties now controlling government. -
The FRC adheres
to a paradigm that concludes that any crumbs tossed from those parties
that control our government are worthy of being gobbled up by donation-seeking
advocacy groups, just for a seat at the table- anybody’s table….
even those who promulgate evil. -
I’m
reminded that in Matthew 7:20 we’re instructed to evaluate the
message of those who desire to lead us. Verse 15 describes false teachers
as wolves in sheep’s clothing. -
That wolf is an outright liar who
distorts God’s message for a seat at the table or a cozy relationship
with ungodly political power brokers. -
And
still the unenlightened send their hard earned dollars to FRC or Focus
on the Family and show up at conferences where the wolves line up the
sheep for slaughter. -

An Antichrist Obama in McCain Ad?

Charlton Heston as Moses in The Ten Commandments, left, and presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama -
It's not easy to make the infamous Willie Horton ad from the 1988 presidential campaign seem benign. But suggesting that Barack Obama is the Antichrist might just do it.
-
That's just what some outraged Christian supporters of the Democratic nominee are claiming John McCain's campaign did in an ad called "The One" that was recently released online.
-
The Republican nominee's advisers brush off the charges, arguing that the spot was meant to be a "creative" and "humorous" way of poking fun at Obama's popularity by painting him as a self-appointed messiah.
-
But even this innocuous interpretation of the ad — which includes images of Charlton Heston as Moses and culled clips that make Obama sound truly egomaniacal —
-
taps into a conversation that has been gaining urgency on Christian radio and political blogs and in widely circulated e-mail messages that accuse Obama of being the Antichrist.
-
The ad was the creation of Fred Davis, one of McCain's top media gurus as well as a close friend of former Christian Coalition head Ralph Reed and the nephew of conservative Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe.
-
It first caught the attention of Democrats familiar with the Left Behind series, a fictionalized account of the end-time that debuted in the 1990s and has sold nearly 70 million books worldwide.
-
"The language in there is so similar to the language in the Left Behind books," says Tony Campolo, a leading progressive Evangelical speaker and author.
-
As the ad begins, the words "It should be known that in 2008 the world shall be blessed. They will call him The One" flash across the screen.
-
The Antichrist of the Left Behind books is a charismatic young political leader named Nicolae Carpathia who founds the One World religion (slogan: "We Are God") and promises to heal the world after a time of deep division.
-
One of several Obama clips in the ad features the Senator saying, "A nation healed, a world repaired. We are the ones that we've been waiting for."
-
The visual images in the ad, which Davis says has been viewed even more than McCain's "Celeb" ad linking Obama to the likes of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, also seem to evoke the cover art of several Left Behind books.
-
But they're not the cartoonish images of clouds parting and shining light upon Obama that might be expected in an ad spoofing him as a messiah. Instead, the screen displays a sinister orange light surrounded by darkness and later the faint image of a staircase leading up to heaven.
-
Perhaps the most puzzling scene in the ad is an altered segment from The 10 Commandments that appears near the end. A Moses-playing Charlton Heston parts the animated waters of the Red Sea, out of which rises the quasi-presidential seal the Obama campaign used for a brief time earlier this summer before being mocked into retiring it.
-
The seal, which features an eagle with wings spread, is not recognizable like the campaign's red-white-and-blue "O" logo.
-
That confused Democratic consultant Eric Sapp until he went to his Bible and remembered that in the apocalyptic Book of Daniel, the Antichrist is described as rising from the sea as a creature with wings like an eagle.
-
Sapp knows that the phrasing and images could just be dismissed as a peculiar coincidence. After all, it was Oprah Winfrey who told an Iowa crowd that Obama was "the one!"
-
But, he insists, "the frequency of these images and references don't make any sense unless you're trying to send the message that Obama could be the Antichrist."
-
Mara Vanderslice, another Democratic consultant, who handled religious outreach for the 2004 Kerry campaign, agrees. "If they wanted to be funny, if they really wanted to play up the idea that Obama thinks he's the Second Coming, there were better ways to do it," she says. "Why use these awkward lines like, 'And the world will receive his blessings'?"
-
Two months ago, Vanderslice founded a Democratic PAC called the Matthew 25 Network and soon noticed that the negative e-mails she received from conservative Christians fell into two general topical categories: abortion, and the assertion that Obama is the Antichrist.
-
The cataloging of similarities Obama shares with the Antichrist began nearly two years ago.
-
But it picked up steam in February 2008 after he racked up a string of impressive primary victories.
-
A Google search for "Obama" and "Antichrist" turns up more than 700,000 hits, including at least one blog dedicated solely to the topic. A more obscure search for "Obama" and "Nicolae Carpathia" yields a surprising 200,000 references.
-
In the Left Behind books, Carpathia is a junior Senator who speaks several languages, is beloved by people around the world and fawned over by a press corps that cannot see his evil nature, and rises to absurd prominence after delivering just one major speech. Hmmh.
-
It's not hard to see how some Obama haters might be tempted to make the comparison.
-
But serious Antichrist theorists don't stop there.
-
Everything from Obama's left-handedness to his positive rhetoric to his appearance on the cover of this magazine has been cited as evidence of his true identity.
-
One chain e-mail claims that the Antichrist was prophesied to be "A man in his 40s of MUSLIM descent," which would indeed sound ominous if not for the fact that the Book of Revelation was written at least 400 years before the birth of Islam.
-
The speculation reached a fever pitch after Obama's European trip and the Berlin speech in which he called for global unity.
-
Conservative Christian author Hal Lindsey declared in an essay on WorldNetDaily, "Obama is correct in saying that the world is ready for someone like him — a messiah-like figure, charismatic and glib ... The Bible calls that leader the Antichrist. And it seems apparent that the world is now ready to make his acquaintance."
-
The conservative website RedState.com now sells mugs and T shirts that sport a large "O" with horns and the words "The Anti-Christ" underneath.
-
Even if a fraction of the Internet-using public engages in outrageous Antichrist speculation, feeding those extreme beliefs wouldn't seem to be an obvious political strategy. But McCain advisers are aware that one of the goals of Democratic outreach to Evangelicals has been to simply neutralize their opposition.
-
"You just have to take the edge off," says Michigan Democratic Party chair Mark Brewer, explaining why he spent much of a 2006 meeting with conservative pastors around his state. "Now that they've met me, they can see I don't have two horns and a tail."
-
A new TIME poll finds that the most conservative Evangelicals are the least enthusiastic about McCain's candidacy.
-
Convincing them that Obama does have two horns and a tail might be the best way of getting them to vote. That's what worries Campolo, who also sits on the Democratic Party's platform committee.
-
"Those books have created a subliminal language, and I think judgments will be made unconsciously about Barack Obama," he says. "It scares the daylights out of me."
