  wealth of family history information among members of the Redbone
  community and for too long it has been suppressed and hidden.
- During the last few years that fact has been recognized and the need to
  bring this information to light (thus salvaging it from oblivion) in an
  organized fashion has been felt by an increasing number of people.
- One purpose of the Redbone Heritage Foundation is to make available
  information to aid our members and further research on these families.

  Redbone Heritage Foundation respects and appreciates your contributions,

There is more of this early cultural stratum hidden in the intellectual culture. In lamentations and in certain carols, in children’s games, in the beliefs about the soul, and in shamanism, there occur certain elements of Hungarian ethnic history which are traceable to its early phase (cf. also pp. 670–72).
The Ugrians (the Voguls, Ostyaks, Magyars) separated slowly in the middle of the third millennium B. C. from the Finn-Permian branch (the Finns, Estonians, Zyryans [Komi], Votyaks [Udmurt], Cheremissians [Mari], Mordvinians, Lapps, etc.).

- The separation of the Magyars and the later Ob-Ugrians (Voguls, Ostyaks) must have taken place between 1000 and 500 B. C.

- By then they were building earthworks, and their tools made of bone have remained in large number.
- Not only did the land change around them, but they also came into contact with newer, largely Turkic peoples.
- Thus they learned the most {28.} important branches of animal husbandry: the domestication of sheep, cattle, and horses. They were nomadic during the period of pasturing. At this time they also became acquainted with the basic elements of plough agriculture, which presupposes a partially settled existence.
- Their contact with the Turkic peoples must have been strong, because Byzantine sources in the beginning called them Turks, and other sources mention them also by a Turkish name, calling them Onugrians, ten tribes.
- The naming of our people in most European languages derives from this word: (H)Ungarus, Ungar, Vengri, etc., while the Hungarians call themselves Magyars after the tribal name Magyer of Ugrian origin.
- This empire, possessing a well-developed animal husbandry, field, garden and grape culture, already wore the features of a nearly feudal state and in this the Magyars also participated.
- During the move southward the Magyars reached the foothills of the Caucasus, where, at least from the 8th century, they became members of the Khazar Khaganate.
- In the 9th century seven Magyar tribes, also joined by one Khazar and a rebel Kabar tribe, moved on towards the west and occupied the large territory that stretched to the Lower Danube.
- By then even the Byzantine sources called them Magyars. They were engaged not only in nomadic husbandry, but in agriculture as well, and settled mostly along the river in semi-permanent dwellings.
- The traces of contact with the various Turkic peoples can be shown primarily in the characteristics of husbandry, especially nomadic animal husbandry, in the plough cultivation of fields, and in vine growing.
- In the area of folklore, many elements survived almost until the present day, though they might show up in different structures. Examples are the learning of a kind of runic script and the expansion of shamanism, the major characteristics of which are preserved in the person of the táltos (shaman).
- Some characteristics can be found in building construction and in clothing as much as in the processing of hemp with certain implements that remind us of these peoples.
- The trail of pentatonic melodies, characterized by the exact repetition of the melody a fifth lower, can be followed through the Turks to Inner Asia, and this type of melody constitutes about ten per cent of Hungarian folksongs.
- We can also find traditions referring to this period in the range of customs relating to weddings and burials.
- They warred with them and sold the prisoners to Byzantine merchants at the Black Sea port.
- It was in South Russian territory that the Magyars first met different Eastern Slavic tribes, such as the Poljan and Severjan, from whom, instead of the Khazars, they collected the taxes.
- Their contacts left imprints not only of wars but of peace as well. They gained additional knowledge of fishing, and became acquainted with the tools and methods of group work.
- Some elements of their body of beliefs, e.g. relating to witches, also originated from this period.
- Their agricultural knowledge also expanded; they probably learned the use of the wheeled plough from the Slavs.
- At this time the head of the Magyar tribal confederacy {29.} went to war with about 20,000 horsemen, beyond which we must suppose a body of people adequate to support them, so that the number of families must have numbered at least 100,000, and the total numbers reached and possibly exceeded half a million.
- The warring, nomadic groups of the Magyars broke into the Carpathian Basin from 862 on and interfered in the conflicts of the peoples who lived there.
- The Magyars, while helping the Byzantines, defeated the Bulgarians, who in turn took revenge by releasing the Pechenegs who pushed from the east against the Magyars just at the time when their military force was roaming far afield.
- On seeing the devastated settlements and fearing renewed attacks, the entire confederacy of tribes realized that there was nothing else to do but to push into the Carpathian Basin. This they did and in the course of a few years they had occupied it.
- Such were the Celts (4th century B. C. ), who were known as the disseminators of iron tools.
- The Carpathian Basin, throughout its history, has given a home to many peoples, some of whom passed on their culture to their successors.
- Then came the Romans, who left behind in Transylvania (Dacia) and Transdanubia (Pannonia) such a culture that even the centuries of the period of migration could not sweep away certain of its elements.
- The Bulgarians had settled on the central great steppes and a part of Transylvania.
- The Magyars found many different kinds of peoples in the relatively sparsely populated Carpathian Basin.
- At other places different Slavic peoples had settled in pockets: Moravians, Danubian Slovenians, White Croatians, Slovakians, and others.
- A remnant of the Frankish rule of Charlemagne, Bavarians lived at the western boundaries.
- Only one substantial state stood in the way of the Magyars, the Moravian principality, stretching from the west to the Garam, but this too they defeated. The conquered peoples adjusted to the Magyars, but the Magyars also adapted themselves to them and so began the interaction of Magyar and Slav that continues even today.
- For more than half a century the contact of the Magyars with Europe meant war, with roaming and marauding to the west.
- They exploited the dismemberment and eternal warfare of the feudal West.
- They attached themselves to one or another ruler and fought in Italy, Germany, and got as far as Switzerland, France, and on one occasion even Spain.
- The head of the tribal confederacy looked favourably upon such military excursions, not only because they helped to keep the military force fit, but also because the practice held off western attacks while he was organizing his own country.
- The speed of the Magyar light cavalry, their terrible arrows, and their new fighting method not only brought victory, but also gave rise to general fear in Europe, until the united German armies indicted a decisive defeat upon them at Augsburg in 955.
- In the course of their roaming the Magyars looked at a completely different and for them new world; they met the new and for them strange European culture.
- However, this did not basically change their half-settled, half-nomadic way of life. The change took place at the time when, following efforts made by Byzantine missionaries, King Stephen I (997–1038) took up Roman Christianity.
- He urged, and occasionally forced, the entire Magyar nation to do the same. By this step the Magyars avoided attrition, which had led to the disappearance of many peoples during the {30.} period of migration in the Carpathian Basin.
- They retained their language and their independence, but a large part of the culture, the world of beliefs and the customs they brought with them vanished, changed, or were amalgamated with other cultural elements.
- Ultimately, Christianity came to the Magyars through Slavic mediation.
- Accordingly, they were acquainted with a great many new words, concepts, objects, and phenomena. Some examples are: keresztény (Christian), pap (priest), barát (friar), apát (abbot), apáca (nun), szent (saint), pokol (hell), csoda (miracle), malaszt (divine grace), vecsernye (vespers); some of the names of weekdays: szerda (Wednesday), csütörtök (Thursday), péntek (Friday), szombat (Saturday); and among major holidays, karácsony (Christmas).
- The Magyars also became acquainted with the new social order primarily with the aid of the Slavs:
- császár (emperor), király (king), ispán (bailiff), tiszt (officer), kenéz (magistrate), udvarnok (Lord High-Steward), bajnok (champion), and a string of other concepts.
- Significant changes took place in the system of working the soil: parlag (waste land), ugar (fallow), and in the method of cultivation and harvesting. In particular the domestication of garden vegetable production: bab (beans), cékla (beets), mák (poppy seed), retek (radish), uborka (cucumber) can be attributed to the Slavic peoples with whom they lived together.
- However, from the point of view of ethnology, the influence that affected the Magyars in the area of agriculture is even more important.
- The influence of close ties may be found in many fields: crafts, trades, family relationships, houses, dwellings, nutrition, clothing, and many others.
- Not all influences were, of course, one-way, as is shown by the fact that in the Slovakian language the words of Hungarian origin approach one thousand. New concepts and new attainments were linked to these expressions.
- Contact with the Germans at the western border region had already begun at the time of the conquest of Hungary.
- This was especially strengthened in the time of Stephen I, who brought in and settled Bavarian–Austrian knights, priests and burghers.
- However, already during the 12th and 13th centuries peasants and artisans whose descendants are still living in the region of Szepes (Czechoslovakia) and Transylvania came in much greater numbers.
- This influence affected primarily city life, the guilds and trades, but also certain new objects and concepts reached the peasantry (tönköly [German wheat], bükköny [vetch], csűr [hayloft], istálló [stable], kaptár [beehive], major [farmstead of an estate], puttony [butt], etc.), which seem to indicate development toward more intensive farming.
- Some of the technical terms of navigation (sajka [small boat], bárka [bark], gálya [galley]), and of commercial life (piac [market]) left marks mainly on city culture. Buildings of Italian masters who worked here (churches, forts, castles) transposed European forms of architecture into peasant styles.
- The Hungarians soon came into contact with Italians also, but Italian influence was much less compared to Slav and German influence.
- The turn of the 12th and 13th centuries saw significant French and Walloon settlements. Besides priests and monastics, peasants came too, who left clearly visible marks in areas such as viniculture.
- Amongst the ruling classes the great cultural change came earlier, but it gradually became observable among the peasantry also. One of the transmitters of the new culture was the Church, which introduced a completely new intellectual culture to the Hungarians through its liturgy, its saints and the associated legends, and through customs connected with church holidays.
- Slavic, German, French, and other Western influences can be traced {31.} not only in the material culture but in the folklore as well.
- In the courts of the king and the high nobility, western heroic songs were propagated by bards, while the one-time pagan bards were driven back among the people, and the priests cruelly persecuted them along with the memories of the old world of beliefs.
- The separation of the epic literary forms slowly began at this period. Side by side with heroic songs now legends, myths and ballads began to play an increasing role.
- An early stratum of the ballads very likely came to the Carpathian Basin with the Walloon-French settlers.
- The folklore of the Hungarian peasantry, while retaining many elements from the previous period, slowly set out on the European road. That this change did not take place without a jolt is shown by the recurrent pagan rebellions, but the ever-strengthening economic and intellectual process proved irreversible.
- All this was supported by the fact that Eastern political ties, although not broken completely, became significantly weaker. The kings of the House of Árpád (until 1301) still maintained their ties, primarily based on kinship, with Kiev and Byzantium, which represented Eastern Christianity, but it was no longer an economic and cultural influence touching upon the entire nation.
- The nomadic Cumanians and after them the Jazygians appeared at this time on the country’s central, flat areas, well suited for extensive animal husbandry.
- In 1241–42 the Tartars destroyed a significant part of the country.
- This meant the strengthening of the pagan tradition in the second half of the 13th century, since even some kings (Ladislas IV, or Ladislas the Cumanian) revered ancient customs.
- However, during the next centuries the Cumanians and Jazygians assimilated into the Hungarians, whose social development represented a higher stage, and so only a few words and objects were accepted into the Hungarian language and culture (buzogány [mace], csődör [stallion], komondor [sheep dog], balta [hatchet], csákány [pick ax]).
- The situation and living conditions of servants, of permanent or free serfs, freemen (szabadok) and the artisans changed in every era.
- The bulk of the Hungarians were working people divided already in the Middle Ages into several social groups, more or less differentiated from one another.
- A ninth of the produce was paid to the landlord for their land, and a tenth of the produce to the Church, besides which the people had to do labour service and occasionally give money and gifts.
- In general it may be observed that towards the end of the Middle Ages, the situation of peasants increasingly declined. The result was that the number of local peasant risings, smaller and larger ones, multiplied.
- The amount of gifts changed according to what the landlord needed at certain times.
- The peasant rebellion in 1514 led by Dózsa was the largest and most notable.
- After a cruel defeat, the legal rights of peasants were drastically cut back, permanent serfdom was declared, the right to move was {32.} prohibited, and the amount of work due to the landlord was increased to a whole day or two days a week or often even more.
- Furthermore, all this happened just at the time when the Turkish Empire posed an immediate threat to Hungary.
- In 1526 the Turks defeated the Hungarian army at Mohács, a town along the Danube; the king, Louis II, fell on the battlefield and the historical period began when the country was divided into three parts.
- The Turks ruled the central and southern areas, the House of Habsburg acquired the northern and western regions, and in Transylvania a more or less independent principality was set up.
- The great artistic and intellectual currents of Europe arrived and had their full effect here: the Renaissance, Humanism, the Reformation. The printing of books expanded, more and more schools were established.
- Although this period, which lasted to the end of the 17th century, was one of the most difficult periods of Hungarian history, cultural development did not come to a halt.
- The most difficult situation for Hungarian peasants was within the territories occupied by the Turks, where taxes, ransoms, robberies, and the burning of villages were everyday occurrences.
- In spite of all this, peasant culture continued to develop even in this period. The three-unit house (room + kitchen + room) spread over a larger and larger territory, and at the same time some pieces of furniture appeared, new in form and function.
- In those market towns which were spared by the Turks, trade flourished. Even articles of clothing taken over from the Turks (kalpag [hat], csizma [boots], papucs [slippers], dolmány [dolman]) were made, and new foods (tarhonya [granulated dry pastry made of flour and eggs]) were adopted.
- A large proportion of the cultural goods of Ottoman Turkish origin came to the Hungarians through a South Slavic filter.
- The Hungarians supplied agricultural goods, the Rumanians supplied animals, while the Saxons supplied the products of the artisans.
- In Transylvania peasant culture was shaped by the mutual interaction of the Hungarians, Rumanians and Saxons who lived next to or near each other.
- The multiplicity of Renaissance style and the influx of Turkish industrial products and their effects on folk culture can easily be traced here.
- However, even in this territory they could not escape the robberies of the Imperial mercenary troops, who often surpassed even the Turks in cruelty. German influence can be more strongly felt here, but it affected the peasantry to a lesser degree.
- The population of the country’s northern region became more dense in this period, since primarily nobles, but in part even serfs fled in large numbers to this area from the southern region.
- After the loss of the fight for independence (1703–1711), led by Ferenc Rákóczi II, the Habsburgs gave the most fertile areas of the pillaged and depopulated country to those Austrian–German landlords who earned merit during the war.
- Turkish occupation had barely ended at the end of the 17th century when the Hungarians again took up arms to free themselves from Habsburg oppression.
- At this time the migration from north to south began, the result of which was that the Hungarian groups who had previously fled from the Turks to the north, now swarmed down to the Great Plain.
- Slovaks also settled in the same area. The German influx exceeded even these in numbers, {33.} mainly in Transdanubia, but also in certain areas of the Great Plain and Upper Hungary. Thus, by the end of the 18th century the Hungarians totalled barely fifty per cent of the population.
- All this again affected Hungarian peasant culture, although only to a smaller degree, because settlement pockets of the various nationalities either assimilated to the Hungarians or took on significant elements of Hungarian culture.
- Beginning in 1920, with the breaking up of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, the nationalities living in Hungary formed their own states in accordance with the peace treaty, and the present borders of Hungary were drawn up.
- Within these live 10.5 million citizens, and Hungarian is the mother tongue of 95 per cent of them.
- Among the nationalities, Germans, Slovakians, South Slavs and Rumanians live in Hungary in larger numbers.

- Newgrange is one of a number of ancient tombs in the Boyne Valley in the Irish county of Meath, north of Dublin.
- Built circa 3200 BC, it predates Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Giza.
- A passage tomb, Newgrange was built with astronomical alignment.
- On the morning of the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year, the central chamber is briefly illuminated by the rising sun's rays coming through the passage.
- The surrounding area of this and other tombs is open to the public, but entry to the tomb is restricted to the morning of the Winter Solstice, and only to those people lucky enough to have won the annual ticket lottery (in 2007 there were over 28,000 applications).

- For generations, the room full of tiny cabinets at the famous Chateau of Blois has been described to visitors as Catherine de Medici's private apothecary cabinet of horrors, home to her extensive collection of deadly poisons.
- The massive Chateau de Blois has been home to many notable members of the French aristocracy, but none more notorious than the murderous Medici clan.
- Catherine de Medici, wife to one French king and mother to three more, died at Blois in 1589.
- She was the original evil stepmother, ultimate meddler in the affairs of her children and therefore matters of state, and notorious for the mysterious yet convenient deaths of her enemies.

- Once you grasp a little of her family story, however, it seems that maybe she was the most well adapted natural product of her environment.
- Catherine was born to the infamous Florentine Medici family. Her mother died 28 days after her birth. Her father, Lorenzo was the young prince for whom Machiavelli penned his famous instructions, and he died only a few days later, most likely from syphilis.
- After being handed around by various family members, a coup in Florence saw her paraded through the streets on a donkey as a symbol of her defeated family legacy.
- Brought to Rome by the pope (her uncle), she was married off at age 14 to the also 14 year old heir to the French throne, who seemed to openly dislike her, and proceeded to take up publicly with another woman.
- After a slow start, Catherine eventually bore ten children, seven of which lived long enough to meddle in politics themselves.
- Her final pregnancy was with twins, two girls who had to be cut from her womb to prevent the death of them all. They did not survive.
- Shortly thereafter, her husband's reign as king was ended by a lance to the eyesocket during a jousting match held in celebration of their daughter's marriage, at which he wore his mistress's colors.
- Amazingly, a lance to the eye (and brain) did NOT immediately kill him, and he lived another ten, presumably agonizing, days.
- Catherine then turned her attentions to micromanaging her children's careers, starting with the reign of her 15 year old son, Francis (dead by 16), then the sickly 9 year old Charles (dead at 24), and finally her favorite, the mama's boy Henry, all against a general background of political mayhem, bloody rebellions and religious massacres.
- This tumultuous time in France and in her life was the setting for Alexandre Dumas' Queen Margot, which tells the story of Catherine's daughter Margaret who was married off to a protestant leader in a political move, and which seems to be be source of the legend that the cabinets at Blois were for Catherine's poison stash.
- The room was in fact associated with Catherine de Medici, and she was certainly suspected of some heinous poison related crimes*, but historians believe that the cabinets were much more likely to have held small objects d'art or confidential papers than a poison collection, which is a little bit disappointing.
- The room in question holds 237 small cabinets, hidden in the beautiful woodwork.
- The Chateau is also the site of the elaborate assassination of the Duke of Guise, plotted by Henry III (third son of Catherine), and there is an enormous painting depicting the scene in one of the rooms.
- It is also known for its beautiful three storey external spiral staircase and gargoyle downspouts. The wallpaper on some of the rooms has to be seen to be believed.
- The Chateau is located conveniently across a plaza from the Maison de la Magie building, home to a fine collection of clocks and automata built by the magician Robert-Houdin, the front of which has been transformed into an enormous mechanical dragon clock.
- *It is worth mentioning that Italians in general, and women specifically, were widely suspected of being poisoners. Catherine definitely ordered the killing of a handful of people, but she may be innocent of poisoning, specifically.

- As if a huge event is about to happen, one that will change human destiny irrevocably? You are not alone.
- Do you feel like we are on the verge of something?
- Many people are feeling the exactly the same. The Internet is buzzing with predictions of coming global meltdown, whether economic, environmental or the result of some nuclear catastrophe.
- The Twentieth Century was a time of unprecedented progress, untold misery and cruelty but more than anything else: hope.
- Hope was there as our grandparents rebuilt their lives and societies in the aftermath of the last World War. Hope inspired the youth of the 60s to change the world around them and drove them as they marched for equal rights and peace.
- There are only so many times Western civilization can re-invent itself and re-invigorate the blood in its veins.
- In today's post post-modern society hope is not all that evident.
- Only the very shallow or very stupid could possibly be inspired by much about present society and that is not a good thing.
- European civilization, at least, seems to have run out of ideas and steam.
- America is ill. Much of its populace is worn-out. They no longer have faith in the old 'American dream'.
- The Obama campaign momentarily enlivened us with the prospect of 'real change', but predictably and sadly little seems to have changed at all and that might have been the last drawcard we had.
- It seems we have also finally run out of vaguely believable ‘enemies’ to create so as to mask our society's divisions and alienation with a false sense of unity hiding under empty war slogans.
- Unprecedented prosperity and ease of living has not created the happiness we believed it would. A gaping emptiness resides in the soul of modern man.
- Old-time religions try to fill the void and be ‘relevant’ but the reality is that they are hopelessly out of date.
- Pop-culture is also running out of new ideas to inspire the young, its only solution is to try to appeal to a younger and younger audience each passing year.
- It’s over, finished, gone, done.
- The Aztec Empire once shone briefly as a marvel of human civilization. The great city of Tenochtitlan was described by the Europeans who first saw it as something beyond a dream. Aqueducts, canals, grand public buildings, towers, temples and palaces all carved of stone. A giant aviary made of pure gold.
- Their empire was in serious decline and to appease the gods human sacrifice was stepped up to proportions that gripped the populace with constant fear and misery. Aztec society was cannibalising itself.
- However, by 1519 all was not well with the Aztecs.
- Omens in the sky and elsewhere that fulfilled ancient prophecies about the destruction of their empire were observed.

- Numerous Bible prophecies spotlight a system of successive world-ruling Gentile kingdoms that culminate in the return of Jesus Christ. These successive “beasts,” as they are called, are discussed throughout the Bible, but especially in four prophetic chapters: Daniel 2 and 7, and Revelation 13 and 17.
- Daniel 2 describes four successive world-ruling empires: the Chaldean Empire, followed by Medo-Persia, then Greco-Macedonia, and finally the Roman Empire.
- These four kingdoms were prophesied to continue in succession right up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
- In Daniel 7, the prophet describes four beasts, again representing four Gentile kingdoms, but with special emphasis on the fourth-the Roman Empire.
- This beast has 10 horns, which “are ten kings that shall arise” out of, or after, the Roman Empire (verse 24).
- Daniel also describes a “little horn” which grew among the 10 horns and uprooted the first three (verse 8).
- The meaning of this prophecy is made plain in the book of Revelation.
- Revelation 13 only discusses one beast-representing the fourth and final kingdom, the Roman Empire. This beast had seven heads and ten horns, one head of which received a deadly wound.
- But its deadly wound was healed just as John prophesied (verse 3).
- The Roman Empire existed from 31 B.C. to A.D. 476, at which point the kingdom was crushed.
- There were to be 10 resurrections to come out of that Roman Empire (just as Daniel said), the first three of which were uprooted by the “little horn”-implying that they were not altogether Roman, but nevertheless ruled within the ancient Roman territory after the empire collapsed. And that's what happened.
- Three barbaric tribes did rule in the region before Justinian restored the Roman Empire in A.D. 554 and effectively “healed” the deadly wound.
- Revelation 17 fills in the remaining details.
- In this chapter, once again John describes a beast with seven heads, but none of these heads is wounded.
- This time a woman, which throughout the Bible symbolizes a church, is riding the beast. She is called a whore in verse 1, and therefore symbolizes a great false church that rides, or heavily influences, this geopolitical beast.
- When Justinian recognized the supremacy of the pope in 554, the Roman Empire was revived. And because of its close association with the Vatican, it eventually assumed the name Holy Roman Empire.
- Comparing the historical record with these prophecies makes the meaning undeniably clear.
- Counting Justinian's empire, there have been six major, historically documented resurrections of the so-called Holy Roman Empire-all of which have been heavily influenced, and in some cases dominated, by the Vatican.
- The seventh prophesied empire is now forming in the heart of Europe.
- An Unstable Mixture
- Those who scoff at the thought of Europe's disparate group of social democracies ever becoming the world's next superpower fail to realize that this is exactly how God said it would happen!
- Daniel 2 describes the final resurrection of the Roman Empire as being an unstable mixture of iron and clay.
- And we are now in the early stages of economic emergency that will bring these many nations together as the world's next superpower.
- The Bible says they will receive their power for “one hour with the beast”-a period that only lasts for about 2½ years. Though short-lived, this awakening beast will display all of the iron-like strength and force of its Roman predecessors.
- The stunning demise of the United States as the world's lone superpower is only hastening along these prophetic realities.
- As Charles Krauthammer explains in his latest essay, Washington's radical swing left has set the United States “on course for decline.”
- In fact, the United States has been on this course for some time now-long before President Obama moved into the White House. But it is true that this radical administration is helping to accelerate America's demise as a world power.
- The new liberalism, as Krauthammer calls it, envisions a much weaker, less dominant America that plays on a level field with every other nation.
- And as it happens, this abandonment of international primacy abroad perfectly complements the massive expansion of Euro-style domestic programs at home.
- “At a time when hundreds of billions of dollars are being lavished on stimulus and other appropriations in an endless array of domestic programs, the defense budget is practically frozen,” he writes.
- The Europeans, on the other hand, “made the choice long ago to devote their resources to a vast welfare state. Their expenditures on defense are minimal, as are their consequent military capacities.”
- They've been able to afford their social democracies, Krauthammer explains, so long as America has been able to police the world.
- But who will stand guard for America if we abandon our military might in favor of massive domestic expenditures, Krauthammer wonders.
- Of equal concern, prophetically speaking, what will Europe-the world's largest economy-do once it realizes that America no longer has its back?
- As soon as that motley mix of iron and clay coalesces together in support of its prophesied emperor, working in cahoots with the church in Rome, a beast will reawaken in the heart of Europe and turn its attention outward, breaking in pieces “all things,” Daniel prophesied
- Prophecy tells!
- This will be the seventh and final resurrection of the “Holy” Roman Empire.

  implications of the Days of Noah will
  be examined with emphasis on the geologic,

  metaphysical significance. The timing
  of this examination is significant: Genesis
  7:11 records,
  
  In
  the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in
  the second month, the seventeenth day of the
  month, the same day were all the fountains
  of the great deep broken up, and the windows
  of heaven were opened.
- The
  opening of the fountains of the deep marks
  the onset of judgment for the Earth and the
  beginning of the Great Deluge or Noahic
  Flood.
- The description of the
  fountains may not necessarily be limited to
  the deep recesses of sea water. The
  “great deep” marks great distinction and
  is suggestive of the sealing of the great
  abyss being broken.

  Revelation 9 as well as their improbable and
  bizarre, but likely correct identity.
- These
  understandings have been confirmed by the
  complementary research of other authors such
  as Tom Horn who explains the “dead
  things” from under the waters of Job 26:5

  Canaan, and the phrase “are formed” is
  from the Hebrew, “chuwl,” meaning to
  twist or whirl as in a double helix or
  genetic manufacturing.”

  the age of instant access brings global
  events front and center, it continues to
  require dedicated effort to chronicle the
  marked increases in current earth changes.
- Seismic activity, the earthquakes in
  ‘diverse places,’ are repeatedly
  under-reported in mainstream media.
- But this same increase in seismic and
  volcanic activity is at the very forefront
  of Biblical prophecy.
- It
  is the subject of this examination, and for
  these purposes, other than noting the
  striking similarities in volcanic history
  and mechanics, we will investigate the
  singular properties of one very specific
  volcano: Krakatau, beginning with its
  history.

  Krakatau,
  early 19^th Century
- The
  Pacific Ring of Fire, a 25,000 mile
  stretch of geologically active land extends
  around the Pacific Rim and claims the most
  volcanically region on earth. Hundreds of
  miles wide, this lethal swath stretches
  through Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia,
  Panama, Costa Rica, Paraguay, El Salvador,
  Guatemala, Mexico, the United States,
  Canada, Russia, the Philippines, Indonesia,
  the Mariana Islands, the Solomon Islands,
  Tonga, and New Zealand.
- Geologic
  activity in region of the Indo-Australian
  plate brings urgent focus on a historically
  cataclysmic region: the Indonesian island
  chain’s Sundra Strait which separates the
  area’s two largest islands.
- Java and
  Sumatra are part of the Indonesian volcanic
  arc, sometimes described as a ‘kink’
  which bends sharply with the east-west
  alignment of Java’s volcanoes contrasting
  sharply with the northwest-southeast
  alignment of the island of Sumatra.
- Records
  of ancient eruptions are found within the
  geologic record containing copacted ash and
  pyroclastic debris which, when analyzed,
  record at least two explosions in geologic
  prehistory.
- The Pustaka Raja,
  the Javanese Book of Kings, records an
  earlier explosion of the volcano Kapi in 416
  AD which created the “great abyss” which
  split the ancestral island.
- The
  ‘legend’ of the Kapi explosions is
  described:
  
  A
  great glaring fire, which reached to the
  sky, came out of the . . . mountain; the
  whole world was greatly shaken and violent
  thundering . . . took place; . . . the
  noise was fearful, at last the mountain Kapi
  with a tremendous roar burst into pieces and
  sunk into the deepest of the earth.
  The water of the sea rose and inundated the
  land . . . After the water subsided . . .
  Kapi and the surrounding land became sea and
  the island divided into two parts.
- Uninhabited,
  Krakatau’s earlier regional eruptions took
  no defined course until comparatively minor
  eruptions in 1680 and 1681. The
  lackluster performances of these seventeenth
  century would lead serve to apparently
  justify the label of ‘extinct.’
- On
  May 20^th, 1883, the captain and
  crew of the German warship Elizabeth
  reported seeing a 6.5 mile high cloud of ash
  and dust rising above the uninhabited island
  in the Sundra Strait of Indonesia.
- After two
  centuries of comparative silence, Krakatau
  had begun to stir. Exactly 100 days
  later, at 1:06 PM on August 26, 1883, the
  mountain entered its cataclysmic stage
  beginning with an immense series of nearly
  continuous explosions propelling heavy ash
  17 miles hurling searing pumice onto ship
  decks 11 miles away.
- The violent
  eruptions raged for more than fourteen hours
  until, on August 27 <script></script>
  ^th, four massive explosions
  completed the event with the final blast
  becoming the loudest recorded noise,
  shattering eardrums and being heard 2000
  miles away.
- The
  cataclysmic paroxysm occurred when all three
  volcanic vents erupted simultaneously.
  The combined force of these blew Krakatau
  apart reducing the size of the island by
  two-thirds before collapsing to a depth
  of 250 feet below sea level. These
  final explosions would produce an
  atmospheric disturbance worldwide.
- Travelling
  from the center of the now conjoined peaks,
  an atmospheric wave proceeded outwards to
  become a great circle, the voluminous ash
  circling the globe seven times.
- The
  ash would redden the skies and deposit ash
  in South and North America, Europe, Asia,
  South Africa and the entire southeastern
  area of Asia and the South Pacific.
- The
  human death toll resulting from the
  explosions and associated tsunami activity
  would be calculated by Dutch authorities at
  over 36,000. The environmental impact
  would not be measured until decades later.
- A
  horrifying spectacle presented itself to our
  eyes; the coasts of Java, and those of
  Sumatra, were entirely destroyed.
  Everywhere the same grey and gloomy colour
  prevailed. The villages and trees had
  disappeared; we could not even see any
  ruins, for the waves had demolished and
  swallowed up the inhabitants, their homes
  and their plantations…This was truly a
  scene of the Last Judgment <script></script>

  Scream, Edvard
  Munch, 1893
  
  Norwegian
  artist Edvard Munch’s familiar harrowing
  depiction, The Scream, is set against
  a fiery red sky, very much resembling the
  sky which was witnessed in the Eastern US
  and Europe following the eruption of
  Krakatau. <script></script>
  Munch, living in Oslo at the
  time, would have witnessed this anomaly.
- I
  was walking along a path with two
  friends—the sun was setting—suddenly the
  sky turned blood red—I paused, feeling
  exhausted, and leaned on the fence—there
  was blood and tongues of fire above the
  blue-black fjord and the city—my friends
  walked on, and I stood there trembling with
  anxiety—and I sensed an infinite scream
  passing through nature.
- Following
  Krakatau’s August, 1883 eruption, mining
  engineer and geologist RDM Verbeek issued
  what has become a reference study for the
  study of volcanism. Describing the
  “unparalleled catastrophe,” Verbeek
  continued:
  
  The
  volcano chose to announce, in a loud voice,
  to the inhabitants of the archipelago, that
  although almost insignificant among the many
  colossal volcanic mountains of the Indies,
  it yielded to none of them with regard to
  its power.
- MINGLED
  MAGMA
- What
  was it about the 1883 eruption of Krakatau
  that made it so different and will these
  conditions like recur? Geologists believe it
  was the presence of two types of magma.
- Volcanoes
  which are the product of convergent plate
  boundaries are stratovolcanoes and usually
  consist of two types of magmas. The first
  type, felsic magma, has a lower
  melting point and crystallizes at lower
  temperatures. It is more viscous and filled
  with large pockets of sulfur dioxide which
  themselves can be dangerously explosive.
- This lighter, silica rich felsic magma can
  itself become so thick that it can congest
  and form a type of seal, under which the
  darker, denser and searing mafic
  magma accumulates within the conduit
  chamber. The high temperatures of the
  mafic magma ignite the felsic above causing
  huge amounts of gas to themselves explode,
  ripping the walls of the volcano itself.
- The
  tremendous build-up of pressures in chambers
  which contain mingled magma create the most
  explosive and dangerous volcanoes.
- ANAK,
  The son also rises.
- Following
  the 1883 collapse of the three peaks of
  Krakatau, the remaining one-third of
  the island bore no visible evidence of the
  horror recently unleashed.
- In December
  of 1927, 44 years after the catastrophic
  explosions that rocked the world, steaming
  debris catapulted through the waters above
  the collapsed caldera with activity
  continuing and, for the first time since the
  1883 eruption, a basaltic rim appeared above
  sea level. The three former mountains had
  become one as if to fuse multiple chambers
  into a single, and possibly more deadly
  mass.
- Described
  by many sources as a phoenix rising out
  ashes, this cone, growing at a rate of
  sixteen feet per year, was ominously
  christened, ANAK, the child of
  Krakatau: the prodigal son had
  returned.
- As
  one of the fasted growing volcanoes in the
  world, scientists monitor the mountain on a
  continual basis wondering if ANAK is simply
  refueling for an even more powerful future
  eruption. Until 1927, Krakatau had
  become a legend, and it was out of sight and
  out of mind.
- In
  April of 2008, ANAK began another period of
  seismic and strombolian activity with short,
  punctuated explosions, numbering up to 120
  on some days.
- Activity chronicled by Volcano
  and Discovery describes the
  monitoring personnel reporting active lava
  flows, emission of smoke and ejections of
  rock. This activity once again
  lessened until April of 2009, when frequent
  explosions produced ash plumes sometimes
  exceeding .5 miles in height.
- On
  June 15, 2009, ANAK’s observable
  disposition remained constant with no sign
  of weakening. An expedition earlier in
  the month observed that a new vent on the
  summit cone had filled a collapsed crater
  from 2007 and recorded loud blasts and small
  lava fountains.
- Most recently, a July 22 update notes that
  ANAK Krakatau has been quieting down
  to a few small explosions and the growth of
  a new lava dome in the new crater has
  slowed.
- This might suggest good
  news, but as geologists continue to assess
  the threat to the region and the world by
  ANAK Krakatau, the haunting days and weeks
  of comparative quiet between the first and
  last explosions of 1883 quietly intrude.
  Is this a calm before the storm in a
  repetition of the 19^th century
  explosion, and if so, what other factors
  need to be considered?
- COLLATERAL
  RISKS
- In
  Switzerland, the world’s largest and most
  powerful particle accelerator, the Hadron
  Collider at CERN is poised for an autumn,
  2009 startup.
- Arguments
  both for and against the search for the God
  Particle at CERN have ignited passions
  and ethics among scientists, theologians and
  observers.
- Adding to the roster of
  serious considerations is the disquietingly
  fragile ‘product’ of the scientific
  endeavors: antimatter.
- Recently an
  integral feature of the fiction of
  pop-author Dan Brown’s Angels and
  Demons, antimatter is a highly volatile
  substance which ignites when it comes into
  contact with anything: including air.
- For this reason, the charged particles of
  antimatter are maintained in an apparatus
  known as the Penning Trap, which allows
  suspension of particles within an electric
  and magnetic field.
- In
  March, 2005, following the December,
  2004 Banda Achi, Sumatran earthquake and
  tsunami, the CERN Courier released a
  statement describing the effect of the earth
  movements as recorded on seismic monitors at
  the Swiss facility:
- During
  the Christmas break, the hydrostatic level
  sensors (HLSs) in the ATLAS cavern revealed
  a new face of their capabilities. Installed
  by the CERN survey group to monitor any
  deformation or movement of the structure on
  which the detector feet rest, these sensors
  with submicrometre resolution coupled to the
  heavy ATLAS mechanical infrastructure took
  on the function of a seismograph.
  
  The
  signals recorded by the sensors are shown in
  the figure, which reveals two perturbations,
  one on 23 December starting at 15.45 GMT and
  the other on 26 December at 01.23 GMT.
- Seeing
  these unusual readings raised the question
  of whether they were connected with the
  earthquake off the Indonesian coast that
  gave rise to the devastating tsunami.
- While volcanism and seismic activity are
  dangerous at any venue, an interruption in
  the containment vehicles within CERN or
  other scientific research laboratories,
  nuclear sites or weapons facilities carries
  an exceedingly high risk.
- In
  response to a query regarding an increase in
  global earthquake activity, the USGS FAQ
  website maintains,
  
  Although
  it may seem that we are having more
  earthquakes, earthquakes of magnitude 7.0 or
  greater have remained fairly constant
  throughout this century and, according to
  our records, have actually seemed to
  decrease in recent years.
  
  This
  seems a stark contradiction to the chart
  provided by the same agency:

- While
  witnessing the pronounced increase in
  tectonic activity and recapping Krakatau’s
  history and potential for future cataclysms
  requires sober respect, Krakatau’s
  legends, lore, science and prophecies
  present a far more disturbing destiny.

- Earlier we mentioned Nick Redfern's comments on the Cannock Chase Bigfoot.
- In it he said:
  
  Cannock Chase has a rich history of weirdness: there have been numerous reports of big-cats having been seen there, and I have personally taken part in several searches for these still-elusive animals. Occasional sightings are made of wild boar; I�m aware of one sighting of a kangaroo or a wallaby in the woods; an alleged encounter with a wolf; and several reports that fall into the classic "ghostly black dog" category.
- But the first account of a man-beast in the area dates from way back in 1879, when a creature described as being half-man and half-monkey was seen on a lonely stretch of road at the town of Ranton, which is situated only a few miles from where the Cannock Chase stands.
- We obviously can't leave that kind of statement hanging so we thought it worth digging a little further.
- First off intrepid researcher Min Bannister braved the dangers of the National Library to find the original report refered to which was lurking in Charlotte Sophia Burne's Shropshire Folk-Lore volume 1 (1883):

- On the 21st of January 1879, a labouring man was employed to take a cart of luggage from Ranton in Staffordshire to Woodcock, beyond Newport in Shropshire, for the ease of a party of visitors who were going from one house to another.
- He was late in coming back; his horse was tired, and could only crawl along at a foot�s pace, so that it was ten o�clock at night when he arrived at the place where the highroad crosses the Birmingham and Liverpool canal.
- Just before he reached the canal bridge, a strange black creature with great white eyes sprang out of the plantation by the roadside and alighted on his horses back.
- He tried to push it off with his whip, but to his horror the whip went through the thing, and he dropped it on the ground in fright.
- The poor tired horse broke into a canter, and rushed onwards at full speed with the ghost still clinging to its back. How the creature at length vanished the man hardly knew. He told his tale in the village of Woodseaves, a mile further on and so effectively frightened the hearers that one man actually stayed with friends there all night, rather than cross the terrible bridge which lay between him and his home.
- The ghost-seer reached home at length, still in a state of excessive terror (but, as his master assured me, perfectly sober), and it was some days before he was able to leave his bed, so much was he prostrated by his fright.
- The whip was searched for next day, and found just at the place where he said he had dropped it.
- Now comes the curious part of the story. The adventure, as was natural, was much talked of in the neighbourhood, and of course with all sorts of variations. Some days later the mans master (Mr B___ of L__d) was surprised by a visit from a policeman, who came to request him to give information of his having been stopped and robbed on the Big Bridge on the night of the 21st January! Mr B___, much amused, denied having been robbed, either on the canal bridge or anywhere else, and told the policeman the story just related.
- �Oh was that all sir?� said the disappointed policeman. �Oh I know what that was. That was the Man-Monkey sir as does come again at that bridge ever since the man was drowned in the cut!�
  
  I heard this from Mr B___ himself a week or two later.
- Next I braved the dangers of the stacks of books in my house to dig out a more recent report of strangeness which also looks at other cases and explanations (it's from Jenny Randles book Mind Monsters pages 203-6 -
- I've tried to shorten the quote but she does an excellent job with it and packs a tonne of details in so I'll quote it in full.

- A second case was first reported to me by Barry Heathfield editor of the Staffordshire Newsletter.
- He had received a story from two witnesses and asked for my comments. I pointed out that the location, Cannock Chase, an area of broad heath and forest between Stafford and Birmingham, had generated a lot of reports of strange phenomena.
- Indeed I called it a 'notorious spot for sightings' and promised that an investigation would be launched, not least because physical traces were allegedly left in the wake of this one.
- I contacted Clive Potter, who is regional investigations coordinator for the area. Along with Kevin Flannery and Susan Dean he set an immediate enquiry into motion.
- Reg Morgan, a power station engineer, had been with his friend, Gloria Hall, to a Gingerbread meeting in Cannock on the evening of 3 August 1988.
- Mr Morgan had recently become a widower, although still young, and the idea of the meetings was to bring single parents together for mutual support.
- They were returning to a village near Stafford shortly after midnight as 4 August began. As they approached a bridge not far from Little Hayward Mrs Hall saw a glow ahead of them.
- Shortly afterwards, as Mr Morgan turned the car to the right, he looked in front and saw it also. Mrs Hall had been watching for deer, not uncommon in the area late at night, and at first she instinctively warned Reg, thinking it was something that he might collide with.
- Gloria Hall describes it as 'a big cloud on the floor � all red � and it lit up'.
- She later added that it was fluorescent and slowly pulsated (or rather the central glow was being 'eclipsed' by vapour).
- It seemed denser in the middle, with vaporous mist on the edges. They could not determine if there was any solid shape behind.
- Reg Morgan confirmed: 'It was like a gas cloud ... like a semi-saucer shape � a red glow � like if you look through a fluorescent tube
- When he first saw it the cloud was airborne and spanning the road. It moved away from them to the north, faded out, crossed the River Trent by the bridge and then briefly reappeared on the far side, before vanishing.
- The glow was certainly self-luminous. Reconstruction at the site proved there was no ambient light and the car headlamps could not have illuminated the thing.
- There were no smells detected or apparent after effects. But during the sighting a clear indication of the Oz factor mentioned.
- Gloria spontaneously remarked: 'It was dead quiet. . . very: very quiet.'
- Roger later confirmed: 'It was unbelievably quiet and Gloria emphasized: There was silence about everywhere.
- One witness in a similar case from North Yorkshire put it in a way that has always stuck in my mind: 'Nothing was doing nothing.'
- Furthermore, Gloria was clearly the more affected of the two. She saw it first, remember, something Reg seemed slightly puzzled by, saying at one point: 'I don't know why it was blanked out to me' Possibly important in that regard, Gloria noted: 'I felt weird' and tried to describe a vague unease or alteration in her state of consciousness.
- Upon return they reported it immediately to the police, who took details and said that someone would come to see them Nobody ever did.
- A friend of theirs reported it to the paper. They had not planned this, but were quite willing to tell a reporter what happened and be photographed at the site
- On the spot, next day, they found damage to the hedge The blob had been first seen behind this hedge, which it had obscured when it rose from the ground, also obscuring a road warning sign.
- The bark on the branches was stripped and looked as if a force had crushed it. And the leaves were dehydrated.
- After the story appeared in the paper Reg and Gloria noted one curious anecdote A few days after the feature they passed the spot, as they do regularly. An unmarked white Land Rover was parked there (in the middle of nowhere) and two men wearing overalls were apparently examining the ground.
- Perhaps this is just coincidence, or perhaps some official organization did take more interest in the case than it appeared to do.
- The investigation of this case was first class. Everything that could have been done was done, although (not surprisingly) there was a concentration on the physics of the event.
- A whole host of significant information emerged.
- Dr Michele Clare, whom we met earlier, is by profession a plant biologist. She studied soil, bark and leaf samples (and some nearby unaffected control samples). Nothing unusual was found, but it was possible to demonstrate from the presence of micro-organisms that no substantial heating was involved.
- This makes sense, because the witnesses felt no heat despite their close proximity to the cloud, so whatever caused the red glow was not a rise in temperature.
- Dr Terence Meaden, editor of the Journal of Meteorology, also assisted the case study.
- Weather records show that the conditions involved a good deal of dewy drizzle, although a clearing weather system was sweeping through. The close proximity to the River Trent should also be noted.
- David Reynolds, a local meteorologist, visited the site with investigators for a more detailed analysis. He found some evidence of tree damage which suggested a rotating vortex could have passed by.
- The general opinion of the weathermen involved seemed to be that the mechanical damage noted afterwards (if it was directly linked with the glowing cloud) was created by a vortex associated with the blob.
- Certainly there was no physical evidence on the ground that any heavy, dense or metallic object had landed and taken off again.
- The glow itself was probably ionization.
- We may notice another point from Persinger's work. The red colour, just as theory predicts, probably occurred because of the saturation of water vapour in the atmosphere at the site. If it had been completely dry, or further from the river, the colour would have probably been blue or white.
- Geologically, the area is on a boundary between sandstone and shale rocks. Quartz is certainly present. Three fault lines lie within less than a mile of the precise location.
- Again there have been reports of other luminous effects in the area in the past.
- Paul Devereux claimed Staffordshire as a primary hot spot in his initial 'earthlights' research.
- Janet and Colin Bord list a number of incidents in the region in their survey of Modern Mysteries of Britain.
- My own records have many others. These include a small entity with a large domed head seen in a field at Brocton, just over a mile away and a voice speaking into the mind of a witness at Oulton, apparently emerging from a column of light coming out of the ground.
- To cap it all, less than a mile from the site is a place called Hell Hole, which seems to indicate that strange events in the area may well date back into the past.
- The local newspaper story was headed 'Glowing UFO shock for pair' and the editor phoned me for a quote on behalf of the British UFO Research Association. But the witnesses never said it was a UFO. In fact they reported it very carefully and accurately. We impose the UFO context onto this blob.
- Soooo weird weather, deer, earthlights, EM, etc. as explanantions and whatever the thing at ranton was it doesn't sound much like a proto-Bigfoot sighting so a zoological explanation still seems elusive.

- Homeopathy
  and Epidemics
- Two
  of the more well-publicized illustrations of the superiority of homeopathy
  were the cholera epidemics in England in the 1840s and the Yellow Fever
  epidemics on the Mississippi River in the 1870s.
- In England,
  after the first cholera epidemic in London, Parliament ordered the public
  health department to provide complete information on how the epidemic
  was handled.
- Allopaths had several ways of treatment, all containing mercury,
  which resulted in anywhere from 41.3% to 71% mortality rates whereas the
  homeopath hospital in London had only 11 deaths overall.
- Here
  in the states, plagued by decades of Yellow Fever epidemics, two commissions
  from Washington were sent to New Orleans to get to the bottom of how to
  deal with the problem.
- One was made up of allopaths and the other homeopaths.
  Hearings were held and reported in detail in the New Orleans Times.
- While
  the allopaths focused on trying to figure out how to prevent the disease,
  homeopaths meticulously combed the actual records of doctors as well as
  the local boards of health to see how various treatment modalities worked.
- As a result, it was learned that the average mortality rate of homeopathic
  patients in various towns was between 5.6% to 7.7% while allopathic patients
  suffered mortality rates of 16% or higher.
- After
  WWI, and right after the Flexner Report was published, which led to homeopathic
  schools (along with all the other non-allopathic schools) being closed
  by political pressure being exerted on their benefactors, homeopathy experienced
  its greatest and most public triumph in the area of addressing epidemics.
- Millions of people around the world were dying of influenza. In Chicago,
  where the great mail order houses were located, Montgomery Ward &
  Company had a medical clinic for its 8,000 employees and their families
  staffed by homeopathic physicians.
- This large cluster of people experienced
  one lone death instead of the hundreds experienced by Marshall Field and
  Sears Roebuck.
- One homeopath practicing at the time later wrote that the
  allopaths lost 20 to 40% of their patients while homeopaths suffered losses
  of only 5 to 6% or less.
- Australian
  scientist, Viera Scheibner in her massive research on epidemics found
  that homeopathic successes stood out everywhere.
- Scheibner, who testified
  in Congress in 1999, during hearings on the problems with Hepatitis B
  vaccine, stated that there is ample evidence in the public record and
  in published medical journals all over the world, “that the largest
  epidemics occurred in the most highly vaccinated populations, while those
  who were unvaccinated, did not have the same epidemics.”
- As a
  naturopath, I must also tell the miraculous story of the founder of naturopathy,
  Benedict Lust, a German immigrant, who had contracted a very serious case
  of TB right after he came to America.
- At the time, TB was so rampant that
  it was called the White Plague and everyone feared it.
- Lust went back
  to Germany to die but fell into the hands of Father Sebastian Kneipp an
  advocate of “the water cure” to treat the sick.
- Father Kneipp
  also believed in teaching people how to support their health by understanding
  the “balance between work and leisure, stress and relaxation and
  the harmony between the mental, emotional, physical, social, and ecological
  planes.”
- Lust was completely cured by these methods and returned
  to America, with Kneipp’s blessings, to spread the teachings of
  natural medicine.
- In the
  chiropractic community, several of Elissa’s personal chiropractors
  have stories about themselves or immediate family members who were stricken
  with the paralyzing effects of polio only to be completely healed within
  two weeks by simply utilizing natural cures available to the average chiropractor.
- Stories of successful polio treatment are common discussion at chiropractic
  conventions among the older practitioners.
- According
  to naturopath, Eleanor McBean, author of the “Poisoned Needle –
  Suppressed Facts About Vaccination” – a survey taken in 1946
  regarding polio recovery rates of various schools of medical thought came
  out with some astounding information.
- Under chiropractors using a specific
  treatment had a 91%-100% recovery, a specific Hygienic treatment resulted
  in a 97% to 100% recovery, Nurse Elizabeth Kenny could produce a 72% recovery,
  35% would recover under no professional care, and 17% would recover under
  what we would call modern medical care.
- Meanwhile,
  in the 1950s, homeopaths in Buenos Aires, where polio was epidemic, were
  distributing thousands of doses of a homeopathic remedy to the public
  and thanks to that action, not a single case of polio was reported among
  those who received it.
- A similar, worldwide study among 50,000 patients
  receiving the same remedy resulted in only one non-paralytic case.
- However,
  newspaper headlines here and abroad covered with great fanfare the new
  Salk polio vaccine, which was being rolled out as a triumph of modern
  medicine.
- In less than two weeks headlines reported that the Salk vaccine
  had turned into a disaster.
- Of the first group of children to receive
  this new magic bullet, the great shield against the scourge of polio,
  40,000 children developed a mild form of polio, 164 suffered permanent
  paralysis, ten died and countless others who had contact with inoculated
  children fell ill with polio.
- And
  history repeats itself with the current promotion of the swine flu vaccine
  for an influenza that is reported to be very mild.
- And it appears that
  the public is catching on. During a Salt Lake City seasonal flu vaccine
  clinic on September 21, only 300 people showed up for the 8,000 shots
  that were available.

- There have been numerous sightings of Bigfoot type creatures in Illinois, so after looking at the mud monster in an earlier post I thought I would out some together
- The earliest sighting that I came across was in 1912.
- A woman named Beaulah Schroat reported that she and her brothers had often seen a huge, hairy creature near their home in Effingham.
- Then a "huge gorilla" was reported as seen in the woods near Elizabeth in July 1929.
- In 1941, the Reverend Harpole was hunting squirrels near Mount Vernon and encountered a large creature that "looked something like a baboon". He struck it with his rifle and fired a warning shot that sent it scurrying back into the underbrush.
- In 1962 a grey coloured creature was spotted by Steven Collins and Robert Earle . The creature vanished into the woods and the witnesses told the local newspaper that it was "like no other animal we had ever seen before."
- In September 1965, four teenagers were parked in a car near an undeveloped area outside of Decatur called Montezuma Hills. It was a secluded area used by locals as a "lover’s lane".
- The young couples were sitting in the car when a black, man-like shape approached the vehicle.
- The creature seemed massive and frightened the teenagers badly. They drove off in a panic but after dropping off their girlfriends the two males returned to the area for another look.
- They once again saw the monster and it walked up to their car as though it were curious. They were too scared to get out, but even with the windows rolled up, they could smell the monster’s horrible smell.
- Then they summoned the police, who searched but did not find anything.
- Two teenagers Tim Bullock and Barbara Smith, were driving north of town on August 11 when they spotted a 10-foot tall monster that was covered with black hair and had a round face. It threw dirt at their car and they left to summon the police.
- In 1968 there was another sighting near Chittyville .
- When the authorities returned, they found a large depression in the grass that was apparently a nest.
- Same year in July , a couple driving near Weldon Springs State Park, outside of Clinton, saw what looked like a huge "bear" in the river.
- Later, a policeman and a conservation officer found tracks along the water‘s edge that definitely did not belong to a bear. They were reportedly very large and human-like.
- In 1972, there were reports coming in from the Pekin and Peoria areas.
- In May, Randy Emmert, and some friends, reported a large, hairy creature near Cole Hollow Road. This monster was 8-10 feet tall and whitish in color.
- The witnesses stated that it made a loud, screeching sound and they suspected that it was living in a hole beneath an abandoned house.
- It also left very unusual tracks, having only three toes on each foot.
- Others also reported seeing a monster and it became known as "Cohomo", short for the "Cole Hollow Road Monster".
- This lead to local police logged more than 200 calls about the monster, including one where the creature destroyed a fence.
- The police departments were naturally sceptical, but the calls kept coming in.
- Cohomo was seen again on July 27 as East Peoria Police reported that he was spotted by "two reliable citizens" swimming in the Illinois River.
- They got close enough to him to know that he smelled awful and looked like a "cross between an ape and a caveman".
- That appears to be the last sighting of Cohomo..
- In 1973, three men who were walking along the Sangamon River near Decatur saw a large, hairy man that walked like an ape. The creature disappeared into the underbrush.
- In 1990, a woman living in a mobile home near Eldon reported to Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department she heard noises, noticed a bad smell, and saw a creature about 10 feet tall and about 400 pounds.
- A deputy investigated and found impressions big enough to place both his feet in.
- Just two days later, an 8-year-old girl and her mother described a creature 8 feet tall with dark brown, frizzy hair and standing on two feet rummaging through a trash pile near their house.
- In 1996, a man living in the Vian Bottoms, about two to three miles north of the Arkansas River, saw a black figure moving in and out of the trees.
- He said it looked to be about 8 feet tall, huge, muscular build, with very long stringy hair, and walked upright on two legs.
- In July 2000 in Essex, Illinois ,Andrew Souligne was driving into a local cemetery one night when a large, hairy shape walked out in front of the car. The creature froze in the headlights and turned towards the car, apparently stunned by the bright lights from the vehicle.
- Souligne (and the other passenger of the car) were pretty shocked themselves and the driver immediately put the car into reverse and back away from the monster. Moments later, the ape loped into the woods and vanished.
- In 2001 a woman driving near Green Leaf Lake , saw something cross the road in front of her. She said it was about 6-1/2 feet tall, with long, dark hair except for the face area, and had a thick build.
- She described the creature further as looking “like a person with hair.”
- In October of 2005, Tahlequah 911 received a call at about 6 a.m. one morning from a man near the Welling bridge who said he had just seen what he believed to be Bigfoot. It was 7 feet tall and hairy, and from the anatomy it appeared to be female.
- In July 2008, a woman living in an area known as Murphy’s Hill, near 14-Mile Creek, said she was receiving a curious and regular visitor that was “getting bolder” and “coming out in the daytime.”
- She said one “Sunday afternoon the wind shifted, and we smelled it.”
- She said she went into the yard and found the door to her dogs’ pen broken almost in half. And, that the dogs get really quiet when this thing is around.
- So Illinois, a haven for types of Bigfoot?
- There does seem to be an element of hysteria in some of the accounts, especially the 200 calls the police received in one day.
- But with that many sightings, even if only a third are reasonably sound, it is still a lot of sightings, whether mistaken identity or not, or something strange in Illinois.

- This is a question many of us have pondered on.
- We, the conservative thinking people know that Africa will return to what it was before. A mineral rich continent inhabited by primitive black savages.
- Liberal Whites will try to refute this. They want to convince us that Africa will advance quicker without Colonialism and Apartheid, but we all know this is simply bullshit. Just look at Zimbabwe.
- Let us look at another former British colony…Kenya.
- There is virtually no government after the rigged and disputed December 2007 elections.
- Mwai Kibaki officially won, but Raila Odinga also claimed victory.
- This election was marked by heavy tribalism. Africa’s legacy.
- The Kikuyu tribe is the dominant one, but there are other tribes as well such as the Luo, Embu, Meru and some Muslims on the coast.
- Kibaki is a Kikuyu whilst Odinga is a Luo.
- After the 2007 election, civil unrest broke out and the world held its breath, fearing another Rwanda style genocide.
- I am convinced that if the West did not intervene, it would have been another Rwanda.
- The police are virtually useless in the lawlessness and mayhem of Kenya. They are basically just interested in bribes, not maintaining the rule of law.
- The real rulers of Kenya is actually a politico-religious group called the Mungiki. Also known as the Kenyan Mafia.
- They are both hated and feared in Kenya.
- The Mungiki (name means united mass) are an extremely violent group who are involved with Machete beheadings, female genital mutilation, ritual sacrifice, blood drinking and large scale ethnic cleansing.
- They are extortionists and racketeers, involved with prostitution, smuggling and drugs.
- They further reject Western Civilisation and all trappings of Colonialism, which includes Christianity.
- They favour a return to African tradition.
- Basically they want to return to be the primitive savages they are….They are also linked to various politicians.
- I am sure the American public took all these things into consideration when they voted for their Kenyan President. Too late now…

Africa has a lot of poor people and a lot of resources and there is not a lot of places for the Chinese to move into. South america is another place. Why don’t we ask those who would not allow people to work this out rationally and calmly?   Moron savages can only behave like “a bunch of idiots” because that’s what they are. Pure blacks have an IQ of about 50-55 while American mulattos are about 77. Neither group can sustain a civilization as is shown by colored rule in Detroit, Newark and a dozen other places. But blacks do have two advantages: they breed like rodents and a mix of black and white comes out black. Blacks are genetically dominent over whites so blacks and whites mixing is suicide for whites.   My skin is still crawling as I type these words because I just got back from a major mall down in Broward county FL(sawgrass mills mall).
  
  There I saw more blacks than I ever have(thanks to the liberal policies of busing them in) along with the shoplifting,menacing stares and chimp like walking that they seem to be afflicted with.

  you stand back, from the "trees" of daily life, and look at the
  broad "forest" of our joint history as the human race, you can
  see clear patterns.
- Every so often the human race, or major parts thereof,
  goes through major life changing events: wars, revolutions, economic crisis/recessions/depressions.
- It is clear that we are now in one of the largest of such events; that
  we are in a great vortex and we have not even gone half way into this experience.
- Terms like "global financial meltdown", "global
  financial catastrophe", "World War III", "global depression"
  are becoming standard in describing where we are and where we are headed.
- The world's central banks are pumping hundreds of billions of dollars into
  the global economy. Additionally government backed bailouts and arranged
  sales in the tens and hundreds of billions are now daily events,
- the total
  in America alone is now about one trillion dollars; and still the news
  continues to get worse.
- Many are rightly claiming to have warned us of the financial
  nightmare that we are now in.
- A nightmare that is more and more like a
  "tar baby"; the more we handle it, the worst it gets. One economic/financial
  crisis leads to another.
- Already serious worries about the US$455 trillion
  derivative market are beginning to creep into worried conversations and
  news stories. Elderly people, who can remember the "Great Depression"
  are saying we are going into another one; and increasingly serious economic
  experts are voicing the same opinion.
- We "knew", or should have known, that the dismantling
  of governmental controls, erected in the aftermath of the Great Depression,
  would eventually cause a financial firestorm.
- We "knew", or should
  have known, that the "hands off" approach of the last several
  administrations in America, and the United Kingdom and elsewhere, would
  lead to no good.
- We "knew", or should have known, that all these
  new financial instruments, debt swaps, derivatives, etc., etc., were nothing
  but trouble.
- So, why did "we" let this happen.
- The answer is
  two-fold: the "we" is not us; and the "we" is us. The
  true masters of the financial world, and political world for that matter,
  are simply not the elected political leaders ~ they are largely just "front
  men" ~
  - Politicians just the "front men" for the real rulers - on 2008-09-21

  throne" and constitute a very tiny percentage of the human race.

  courage and morality to see and change reality.

  by a small number of global banking families, some of whom have been at
  the game for over 200 years.

  resources of all types at their disposal. They control the central banks
  of America (the Federal Reserve, which is privately owned ~ no more a part

  changes for their own benefit: thesis, antithesis, synthesis.
- For example,
  they organized the First World War, and it resulted in mass murder and
  economic crisis as it went on for years.
- In the Russian Empire the "thesis"
  was WWI, the "antithesis" was the effect on the population and
  the political "blow back" from the war. The "synthesis"
  was the rise of communism, which they financed and controlled, and the
  total police state control of the former Russian Empire that it gave them.
- Prior to WWI the Russian Tsar would not allow the Rothschilds and other
  global bankers to control his economy.

  of the true goals of the "thesis" (WWI) and the "antithesis"
  (the population's response to the horrors of war).
- The Great Depression was the antithesis to the excesses

  Federal government with massive programs (aimed at ending the Great Depression)
  that required vast amounts of funding from their privately owned Federal
  Reserve Bank and its ability to create money out of thin air and loan this
  back to the government and collect interest on it (instead of the government
  just creating the money itself without any interest being due to private
  bankers).
- Side benefits to the global banking families was a great shake
  out of wealthy Americans and their ability to capture a much larger amount
  of corporate ownership/control than had existed before (using cutouts,
  front men, and corporate control mechanisms established by them).

  in setting up (thesis) and controlling the French Revolution (antithesis)
  and the rise of Napoleon (synthesis).

  the world, and in a massive growth in governmental debt as nations throughout
  Europe borrowed money to arm themselves and fight in the various Napoleonic
  wars.

  many levels and many such "games" are often ongoing at the same
  time (think of it as multiple interrelated games of space chess).
- The unchecked
  banking greed and the lack of proper legal controls and governmental oversight

  companies failing or being bought out or funded by governments (antithesis).
- The synthesis is that, just in the United States alone, one trillion dollars
  of new public debt has been created in the last week or so to "solve"
  the problems.
- New debt that enriches the private owners of the Federal
  Reserve System.
- One trillion dollars of debt, on top of the already massive
  US national debt, that the American public has to pay interest on for many,
  many, years.
- Of course, the "debt solution" is itself a antithesis
  in a broader game with the synthesis being the New World Order (or a major
  step towards it).
  - The Synthesis? The New World Disorder - on 2008-09-21

- The current "solution" to the crisis that the
  FED and the Bush Administration have come up with allows the corrupt gains
  to remain privatized while socializing the losses that Wall Street and
  the global bankers have created.
- Its all a great evil scam and we, the public, are too
  stupid, too scared, too blind, too wrapped up in television/etc. to be
  educated as to what is really going on.
- And most importantly, we are simply
  too lacking in good morality to have the strength, the moral strength,
  to fight it.
- We are being told by the same governmental "leaders"
  that allowed the current economic crisis to happen on their watch, that
  they have fixed the problem with the latest round of new debt and governmental
  slight of hand. Don't believe it for a second.
- We have just had a little
  more chewing gum and bailing wire slapped on the global economic system,
  but the system is collapsing and adding more national debt, no matter how
  many trillions are involved, will not cure the problem. In fact the cure,
  in this case, is simply more poison for the dying system.
- All of this has been planned. Do not let yourselves play
  the village fool saying "why did they let this get so out of hand",
  or "you would think that they could come up with something....".
- The global banking families, whose hands control the levers of political
  and economic power in most nations of the world (and certainly America,
  the United Kingdom, France, etc.), are very intelligent and are playing
  a very sophisticated game ~
- actually the eco-political grand strategic
  control of the world is the most sophisticated of all games. As FDR use
  to say, "if something happens in politics you can bet that someone
  planned it to happen".
- They are moving the world to a New World Order in which
  they will have absolute and total control of all wealth and all levers
  of political and military power.

  of the "unnecessary eaters" purged by the coming next world war.

- The Russian invasion of the South Ossetian enclave in Georgia should call into
  question a basic component of United States foreign policy - the integration of
  Eastern Europe and former Soviet republics into the North Atlantic Treaty
  Organization (NATO)
- This policy has been pursued by Democratic and Republican
  administrations, but with no public debate and with little thought as to the
  long-term consequences.
- The consequences are now becoming clear, and they are
  unpleasant.
- On Thursday, thousands of Russian troops were still in South Ossetia after
  driving out Georgian forces that tried to regain control of the breakaway
  region in an attack last Friday.
- US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is in France for talks
- >
  with President Nicolas Sarkozy, who currently chairs the European Union, before
  visiting Georgia on Friday. The US has begun delivering aid by air to the
  former Soviet republic.
- Russia will intervene in foreign
  countries to protect ethnic Russians living there.
- Moscow's response signals several positions.
- Russia can readily control
  or even cut off important oil pipelines connecting the resources of Central
  Asia to Western markets, one of which runs through Georgia.
- The attack also
  signals Russia's displeasure with NATO expansion into Eastern Europe and the
  former Soviet Republics.
- Since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, NATO
  has taken under its increasingly expansive wing Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia,
  Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia. Georgia
  plans to join in the next few years.
- This process has been going on for 15 years, under the Bill Clinton and George
  W Bush administrations. And it is as ill thought out as any foreign policy the
  US has pursued in decades.
- The American public greeted each new NATO member as
  though they were new neighbors, not as distant and even remote countries the US
  was now obliged to defend.
- NATO is a mutual defense pact and members are
  required to go to war if one of them is attacked.
- Nor was the effect on Russia thought out.
- As is well known - though not well
  comprehended - Russian history is filled with periodic devastating invasions,
  from Germany (twice), France, Sweden and the Mongols.
- Russian governments, and
  the public as well, look on events on their periphery with concerns and fears
  that people of a country sharing borders with Canada and Mexico cannot
  understand.
- NATO forces, pressing steadily deeper into what Russia thought to be a
  defensive glacis from a resurgent Germany, set off alarms in the Russian
  bureaus and public alike, thereby contributing to the return to authoritarian
  government based on national security and militarism.
- In retrospect, following the collapse of the Soviet Union, an agreement should
  and probably could have been reached between Russian and NATO powers, which
  banned each power's forces from Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Republics.
- But that was not pursued and here we stand at the dangerous intersection of a
  heedless NATO policy and a timeless Russian mindset.
- In the aftermath of the
  Ossetian intervention, Americans might well ask themselves if they are willing
  to go to war to defend remote countries for whom they have little obligation,
  except what stems from those countries having been persuaded to send troops to
  Iraq in exchange for some assurance of US/NATO protection.
- It's unclear if the people of Western Europe, who are less enamored by war than
  Americans are, and who look at least somewhat more thoughtfully on world
  affairs, are asking themselves the same question.
- It is more probable, however, that events in Georgia will lead to more rapid
  military modernization in new NATO members and a few more countries applying
  for membership (tuition-free, of course).
- This in turn will intensify Russian
  security concerns and authoritarian trends - dynamics that were likely foreseen
  by Russia. A new cold war has begun.
