Weblogg-ed » URGENT: 21st Century Skills for Educators (and Others) First

Will, your part here about tech conferences really hit a nerve with me. Your experience was spot on with what I just experienced at a regional conference. Except there was one bright spot - this pretty engaging guy named Wesley…

Ideas and Thoughts from an EdTech » Blog Archive » 7 year old researchers

Dean, I think the suggestion to send it home with a kid per night is a great one - one which I might consider, too. A wonderful way to involve parents, and give the the kids the time they really need to explore the XO.

Anyway, my kids and I are having a great time learning about and with these little la

Dangerously Irrelevant: I'd like an idiocy filter, please

Scott, what's happening is white listing. A 180 degree difference between what used to be the norm just a couple of years ago (black listing), and how the general public thinks a filter works. The crime against education is insidious and unforgivable. - M

Caught on Video (Techlearning blog)

Bob, you are so right about needing to push what we do with the technologies that are landing in our laps. I just bought an RCA Small Wonder, similar to the Flip (but under $100 and takes up to a 2GB SD card), for my third graders. They just produced thei
