Allez, viens à Paris! Germantown Academy

Students will take on the persona of a travel agent in Paris, France. They will choose two monuments or places of interest from a list provided by the teacher to research and then present in an informative, interesting and enticing way in order to attract tourists to visit their beautiful city. They should provide tourists with useful information such as location of monument, metro stop, brief history, explanation of its historical significance, current uses, etc. They should also include where to go to eat, shop, take pictures, buy unusual souvenirs or to stop and rest. Students will prepare two presentations.
