"eCYBERMISSION is a FREE, web-based, science, math and technology competition for
students in grades six through nine. The competition introduces students to the
scientific method as they work in teams to solve a problem in their community,
and illustrates how science, math and technology apply to everyday life. Every
student and Team Advisor who participates in eCYBERMISSION will receive various
gifts during the Registration and Submission phases, while students on winning
teams will receive between $2,000 and $8,000 in U.S. EE Savings Bonds. There are
96 winning teams every year, and the 16 first-place winning teams are invited to
Washington, D.C. to compete in the national competition."
