AMERICA --soldier gets 110-years for raping girl - Times Online

  • This American soldier received 110 years to serve in a prison while another soldier in the same group recieved a 100 year jail sentence for participating in the rape crimes on an Iraqi girl. Now if American soldiers are given severe prison penalties for their crimes; would America provide farin justice to the Guitmo "enemy combattants" who were captured by co-alition forces in Afghanistan/Iraw etc.?

  • “We were expecting the death penalty against those criminals and the place to
    carry out the sentence is where the incident happened,” Janabiat’s cousin,
    Abu Ammar, told Reuters.
    • The depth of involvement in the crimes determines the punishment of the criminals under America's laws. America has the death penalty in some states but not all states. The military laws are seperate laws enforced by the military and with a view od delivering "justice" to all concerned. I'm sorry that some people don't agree with the punishment given these soldiers but 100 or more years with loss of freedom can be more severe to bear than the death sentence. Sadam isn't suffering anymore for the crimes he committed and I wonder if he too, should have received a prison sentence of 100 or more years in jail. Sadam would still be in jail wishing he was executed , I would guess had he not been hung. - on 2008-06-17

War is hell but when diplomacy can't be used to solve problems then weapons will always replace pens and pencils. The question is NOT how many are dying it is how many have beens saved from the DICTATOR who killed ovr 5,000,000 Iraqi in ten years. Now there are 3,5000,000 Iraqi who are alive because the coalition removed the DICTATOR and his evil sons.

  • Nasir Abas was a An Qaeda top commander in Indonesia for 20 years apx. He taught bomb building and other insurgent terrorist tactics to recruits from Indonesia, Malasia, Phillipines etc.
    He quit Al Qaeda when Bin Laden sent him a letter telling him to kill Jews and Americans.  Narsi changed sides and then had about 300 Al Qaeda members jailed.
