The article disucussed the damage such a ban has done to Afghanistan and it's people so far, and will continue to do. Wait, don't tell me!

  • We talked in class about the phonemes being the smalled unit that have a meaning. With learning this I was interested to learn that certain phonemes can tip us off to other words. The article talks about words that we can't remember how to say but they are on the tip of our tongue (TOT's). The study that was done showed that if were are given another word that has similar phonemes, our likely hood of remembering the TOT is much greater. Perhaps a good thing to remember for tests. - kstout on 2006-09-16

  • I thought this article was interesting to read because of what we were talking about in our recitation classes. We talked a lot about, how can we stop racism and the products that have been made because of past racism.
