Order statistic - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

When monthes ago I was wanting to get understand of the distribution of the nth largest varible in a random sequence, I had never heard of order statistics so I failed to find a analytic answer to the problems of multi-user diversity gain and Best-M feedback.

Now I have this great tool, Order Statistics.
