"فى الوقت الذى ينشغل فيه الكثير من القوى السياسية والشبابية بل والعمالية فى معارك انتخابات الرئاسة، نجد أن الأغلبية بمجلس الشعب بقيادة الإخوان المسلمين تقرر مناقشة مشاريع القوانين الأربعة للحريات النقابية المقدمة من (خالد الأزهرى وصابر أبوالفتوح وآخرون «مشروع الإخوان» ــ مشروع أبوالعز الحريرى ــ ومشروع عمرو حمزاوى ــ ومشروع كمال أبوعيطة ومحمد جنيدى وآخرين) وبالنظر لأول وهلة للمشروع الذى أخرجته لجنة القوى العاملة بمجلس الشعب استعدادا لتمريره فى اللجنة العامة بمجلس الشعب، يظهر وكأنه قد أقر مبدأ الحرية النقابية وحق التنظيم ــ التى انتزعها العمال المصريين بعد ثورة 25 يناير على أرض الواقع، فقد تعدى عدد النقابات التى أسسها العمال خلال عام واحد أكثر من 600 نقابة، أغلبها نقابات مناضلة وقاعدية وقفت لكى ينال أعضاؤها حقوقهم المنهوبة منذ سنوات ــ ولكن بقراءته بتأنى تكتشف أن جوهره تفريغ لعمل النقابات من كل ما يجعل النقابات العمالية تدخل فى مرحلة جديدة."

Three draft laws for the regulation of trade unions in Egypt have been proposed. the law would prevent workers from organizing more than one union within any enterprise. Workers' committees at each enterprise would apparently be allowed to choose which union federation they would like to affiliate with at least once every four years. But subject to a lawsuit, any other union which attempted to establish itself would be “automatically dissolved” and its assets seized.

The strike has been called because workers have said 'enough is enough', after two years of the government refusing to negotiate with unions on any issue. Indian's are sick of the rich getting richer, record economic growth, whilst 400 million people have not got a pot to piss in.

رغم كم الاحتجاجات التي شهدتها ساحة الطبقة العاملة المصرية للمطالبة بتحسين الأوضاع بعد ثورة 25 يناير، ورغم الوعود بالنظر لحل مشكلات القطاعات المختلفة، لم يسلم المحتجون وخصوصا قيادات حركتهم من التعرض لهجوم من قبل أصحاب الأعمال والمسؤلين الحكوميين، وصل إلى حد الاعتداء البدني على بعضهم والتهديد بقطع الأرزاق للبعض الآخر علاوة على تلفيق التهم بهدف الترويع وكسر شوكة وحدتهم.

A union can spring up with a socialist, revolutionary or anarchist programme and it is, indeed, with programmes of this sort that the various workers' programmes originate. But it is while they are weak and impotent that they are faithful to the programme — while, that is, they remain propaganda groups set up and run by a few zealous and committed men, rather than organisations ready for effective action. Later, as they manage to attract the masses and acquire the strength to claim and impose improvements, the original programme becomes an empty formula, to which no-one pays any more attention. Tactics adapt to the needs of the moment and the enthusiasts of the early days either themselves adapt or cede their place to `practical' men concerned with today, and with no thought for tomorrow.
