At the April 12 meeting of the Faculty Council, Frederick Lovejoy Jr., the William Berenberg professor of pediatrics at Children's Hospital, reported on the Clinician Teacher (Longer Service) Promotion Pathway. Full- or part-time instructors of at least 10 years, who hold an MD, PhD, or DMD, are eligible. Publication is not a criterion for promotion in this pathway. Instead, teaching, education, leadership, clinical practice, and service are emphasized.
