The complimentary balance of the sexes is a perfect example of the divine natural order.
A revolution of consciousness will soon be upon us. Those who are chained to the old dialectic (men v. women, gay v. straight, rich v. poor, Republican v. Democrat, U.S. v. the World, Black v. White, organized religion back-biting squabblers, etc.) will drown in the neo-diluvian spiritual waters.
The ten thousand riders with their faces covered are those who have abandoned their spiritual purpose. They are in blind allegiance to their false gods. Their pain and suffering defines their existence. If they ride on, they will see a better way.

Jah Punk: New Wave Digs Reggae by Vivien Goldman

As a bookend to an exciting week of Marley-related posts, I leave you with one of my favorite articles by noted journalist and Wailers superfan and biographer Vivien Goldman. “Jah Punk: New Wave Digs Reggae” was published in Sounds on September 3, 1977-the year of the punk. It discusses the relationship between the Rasta and punk movements-a relationship that was first documented in song by both Bob Marley and UK poet/musician Linton Kwesi Johnson. By 1977, the punk movement in the UK was in full effect and Marley memorialized the movement in the song “Punky Reggae Party“.

Epidemiological, optical and electron microscopical findings suggest that dorsal knuckle pads and Dupuytren's disease are fibrosing disorders with common features. In all cases examined, knuckle pads were always associated with Dupuytren's contracture and, in a significant number of cases, with bilateral Dupuytren's contracture. In a statistically significant number of patients with knuckle pads, Ledderhose's and Peyronie's diseases were also present (P less than 0.001). Optical and electron microscopical studies showed that cell types and extracellular matrix were identical in knuckle pads and Dupuytren's nodules in different patients.
