This website offers free PowerPoints on WW2 with topics that range from all over the war and would be a great resource for any teacher.
YouTube - Saving Private Ryan Omaha beach
This YouTube clip is the opening scene of "Saving Private Ryan" where the US Army lands on Omaha Beach during the Normandy Invasion. Although it is a Hollywood movie, this scene is probably the best (and students will know of it) interpretation of this horrific battle that changed history.
