Bluetooth kills batteries in short time periods!I guess I should have stated why I asked that question. Thanks for clarifying. I know on mine once I finally figured it out and shut off the bluetooth the battery life increased dramatically. I have seen it drain 25 - 30% of battery in one 10 minute phone call. -
I finally talked with Sprint and they told me not to charge my battery until the phone gives me a low battery warning. I have been doing that and I get more talk time that way. I guess if you charge the Centro before the warning it gives it a "trick charge" (if I understood properly) and runs the battery out fast. I also noticed that I go from 100% charge to below 50% fairly soon but it takes hours to go from 50% to 15%. I hopes this helps!!

Tips on the email program in the Palm Centro causing battery life to drain.

The problem lies in the Sprint Email program and the centro. There has been an issue where the program gets stuck in a continuous loop trying to ping the email server for new emails. This continues to run and quick drains your battery. The current work around is to switch to the versa mail email program.

Go to the "Sprint Mo.." icon and delete any mail accounts you have there. I noticed that these are a battery drain and they will make your phone vibrate when new messages come in (but it gives you no explanation why the phone is vibrating....). To set up Versa Mail click the icon called "Email"
