  • The Domain Name System (DNS) has been with us for a long time, turning host
    and domain names into IP addresses. Along the way, numerous flaws have
    been found in the protocol, including last year's Kaminsky DNS flaw, which just
    added to the clamor to see DNS replaced. But, DNS still hasn't gone away,
    and doesn't
    look like it will anytime soon, at least partially because its replacement,
    DNSSEC, doesn't really resolve all of
    the problems, and it creates some
    of its own    . A proposal by Daniel J. Bernstein (aka djb), called DNSCurve, has some interesting features that
    might make it a viable alternative to DNS and DNSSEC—perhaps one that
    can be widely
    adopted.

  • An accelerator caches incoming requests for outgoing data (i.e., that which you publish to the world). It takes load away from your HTTP server and internal network. You move the server away from port 80 (or whatever your published port is), and substitute the accelerator, which then pulls the HTTP data from the "real" HTTP server (only the accelerator needs to know where the real server is). The outside world sees no difference (apart from an increase in speed, with luck).

  • 纵观去年被牛博和谐的各类博客，牛博网民“有个作者”，为了“留得青山在，不怕压死人”，结合自身经历和及牛博诸友的讨论，总结出“博客保命四项基本原则”：原则一：发牢骚可以，有行动指向的不行。（例子：都是骗银地）原则二：讲道理可以，摆事实不行。（例子：前列腺）原则三：发牢骚，讲道理都可以，但不能天天发牢骚讲道理。（例子：冉云飞） 原则四：非常时期，一切小心。据不完全统计，这非常时期包括：过年（雪灾），春天（地震），夏天（奥运），秋后（各种佳），入冬（经济危机）。总之，一二三月不宜，四五六月不利，七八九月不行，最后仨月不折腾。
  • 家长们还找到多名证人，证明承建商将本来应用于教学楼的钢材、水泥转卖，理由是校方「钱不够，要变卖建材垫资建楼！」并连同图纸证据影印本送四川省公安厅。公安人员随即以「非法持有国家机密」罪，拘捕了其中被怀疑持有该图纸资料的学生家长母勇贤，威胁他交出图纸。遭拒后，当局还调查其他家长是否持有图纸副本，并警告他们「不得外泄」，否则就是「泄露国家机密」、「颠覆国家政权」。

  • 我承认，独立博客依然是时下塑造个人品牌最佳的方式，但是独立博客能带来多大的影响力吗？对不起，我认为它是有巨大瓶颈的，原因在于他是个人的。我敢说，如果把牛bo这些人都分散开独立着写，它们每个人未必能获得如此大的关注度和影响力！

  • One of the most active threats we face today on the Internet is cyber-crime. Increasingly capable criminals are constantly developing more sophisticated means of profiting from online criminal activity. This paper demonstrates a growing, sophisticated technique called fast-flux service networks which we are seeing increasingly used in the wild. Fast-flux service networks are a network of compromised computer systems with public DNS records that are constantly changing, in some cases every few minutes. These constantly changing architectures make it much more difficult to track down criminal activities and shut down their operations.

独立博客不独立

  • 我自己很讨厌神化blog之类的话题, 比如讨论自己为啥退订blog, 或是告诫新手们不要写私人生活等. (当然, 讨论这些本身可能也是独一无二的)
  • 月光博客算的上是国内最有名的博客之一了, 但我认为不应该把它当作成功(何为成功?)博客的典范. 我更欣赏的是阮一峰的网络日志这种类型. 无论是博主还是访问者, 就算若干年后再来看博客里的文章, 仍能看到自己的思想或者某种思想曾经给予自己的启迪, 无聊的深刻的可笑的严肃的. 而不是仅仅只看到某条曾经发生过的新闻或某个网络产品的介绍, 淹没在一片类似的文章中, 差别可能只是发表时间上的数字而已.

回顾我的Blog历程和关于Blog以及关于这里

  • 突然想到一个异型的比喻，纵使你有很多个女人，也比不上一个家的感觉。我觉得自己的 Blog 大概也这样：不是你的应不是你的，你除非不知，否则你不会在别人的土地上进行耕耘，这是人爱自己天性使然。
  • 所以挺感谢数字游牧的这片土地，尤其记忆深刻的是他令人吃惊的服务启动速度。

demo@virushuo: 封字诀

  • 08年我不止一次和笑来聊起来，在09年我最希望做的一件事，就是帮一些人建立独立的blog。



    目前我心中的名单是：刘晓原，许志永，艾未未，冉云飞，连岳，阿丁，阿乙，四一。这个名单会逐渐增加。



    笑来也很赞同，他愿意来写一系列的教程，帮助大家尽快掌握使用wordpress的技巧，我愿意提供技术支持。西乔会提供设计和美化。

数字游牧：blog独立了

  • 在数字游牧的帮助下，我这个从03年开始的blog终于从blogbus搬家出来，拥有了自己的独立域名shizhao.org。过渡阶段，新日志将在blogbus和这里同时发表，但是blogbus那里可能随时停止更新 :)
  • 独立域名的感受的确和BSP时期的感受很不一样。BSP给人的感觉像是寄人篱下，独立域名 blog才真正有了当家做主人的感觉。希望能够看到更多的blogger能够成为真正独立自由的人。
