Mark Felt, “Deep Throat” in Watergate Scandal, Has Died « Republican Ranting

  • This is news that just broke a little while ago: Mark Felt, the number 2 FBI official during the Watergate scandal, also known as the informant “Deep Throat” died on Thursday at 12:45 P.M. at a hospice facility near his home, according to his daughter Joan. Joan told reporters that he “was fine this morning [and was] joking with his caregiver.” He then ate breakfast and took a nap, saying he was tired. He then died in his sleep. “He slipped away,” she said.

Congratulations to Michael Phelps for His Seventh Gold Medal « Republican Ranting

  • OK, so I saw the video of the 100 meter butterfly event live at a sports bar, and when he won, the entire place erupted in a cheer. This was the closest, and most amazing race I’ve seen in my entire life (it even beat the NASCAR races, and I’ve seen some NASCAR races that a pretty good). The margin that Phelps won by was .01 seconds. Here’s a video:

Michigan Democratic Party May Redo The Presidential Primary « Republican Ranting

  • The Michigan Democratic Party is looking at redoing their primary so that the DNC will seat its delegates; however, this time the MDP would be forced to hold a caucus, costing the party over $1,000,000. Why a caucus? Because why on earth would the state of Michigan pay for 2 elections!

    Obama will be all for this, because I think that it’s likely that he’d win. Clinton really can’t say no or she looks like a fool to the country and the party (oh, wait, she already does). Florida is looking at doing the same thing.
