Slax forum: ALSAMIXER current?

this page is discussing Slax no sound issue. My fnote1.1 has the same problem. A lot debug commands are demo'ed here.

原來在 Linux 底下也能查看筆電電池的資訊，剛開始使用筆電果然還有很多需要學的。

  • mount /dev/fd0 /media/floppy
    mkdir /media/floppy/boot
    mkdir /media/floppy/boot/grub
    cd /boot/grub
    cp stage1 stage2 /media/floppy/boot/grub
    • When I tird to do these by Ubuntu 'My computer' or xfe I failed (and without correct error messages!). Only the root terminal can do these. - on 2009-05-29

      • S.M.A.R.T. Linux

        S.M.A.R.T. Linux is a bootable floppy distribution containing tool (smartmontools) for monitoring IDE/SCSI hard disks (using Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology). Why floppy? Probably because all other distributions containing this useful utility are CD versions.

Apps :: How to change font in terminal windows?

  • Aterm*font: 9x15
    • default was : fixed , changed the 'fixed' to '9x15' really good. and it takes effect immediately. Try edit, save and open anohter terminal. It works !! - on 2009-05-27
