Canadian government IT organizations were not permitted to use services which stored or hosted the government's data outside their sovereign territory
- This begs a definition of "the Government's data". For example, PIPEDA defines the Subject of the data as a co-owner. If I as a co-owner, choose to store (a copy of) my data in a different jurisdiction, I doubt the government can legally prevent that (at least at this time). - on 2008-05-25
